Romer's Burger Bar in Port Moody

This place serves the best burgers and fries I ve ever had! The patties are juicy, the buns are fresh, and the fries are perfectly crispy every single time. Their attention to quality and flavor is unmatched, and they always get the balance of sauces just right. The service is friendly and fast, making every visit a pleasure. Highly recommend this spot it s my go-to for a satisfying meal!

I went for lunch coconut shrimp with mango sauce The meatball-like thing was a bit spicy. The hamburger ribs had a bit of a gamey smell, but they were delicious The steak was medium rare, tender and satisfying. I was able to make my favorite cocktail as well. Sweet cocktail with grapefruit flavor It was delicious

Not going back. Decided to try this location instead of the usual in Vancouver location on a rainy Saturday afternoon - just after 1pm - when compared to the original Romers on Kerr, slow service overall and burgers, garlic fries not crispy were not as good and the restaurant was cold. . Overpriced for mediocre experience $85 for two burgers and a deep fried chicken tender dish.

Service is prompt, good drink selection, lots of vegetarian options. Mice in the downstairs dining room are a bit unsettling.

First experience was ok. It was very busy, but doesnt totally excuse cold food and very spotty service. I had the steak and sushi. Steak was good, sushi was not good. Id like to go back and try their pizzas at a less busy time. Edit: I went back. It was even worse. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Service, food, and cleanliness were all awful.

Made a reservation for Thanksgiving dinner Monday at 7pm. Show up and told they are sold out???? What a joke this is. You d think if you promote a specific Thanksgiving Dinner you d have enough for dinner time at 7pm ? Very disappointed and now ruined my family s Thanksgiving Dinner.

My son and I dropped in for dinner.. was easy to get a table as they werent very busy. Service was great, burger was tasty. If you love calamari dont order it here..it was all onions,4 jalapeños , about 8 pieces of tiny calamari.. Its my sons favourite dish and he was asking me where the calamari was

Edit: so many workers and nobody took our order quick enough so that wasnt cool at all. We totally came out of our way for the dog patio today. In December we found the food was better than expected and that we would definitely come again and try more menu items. Shame to see not enough vegan options on the happy hour menu too

I had a very bad experience at this place, the staff were very rude and unfriendly. Most of them were this way. It ruined the experience.

Got a table and waitress never showed up to take our order (25min). Three waitresses serving up to five tables.

I want to like this place, Ive been here several times with different groups of friends. Each time, I ordered different burgers to find something well made. All 4 times, the burgers were overcooked and lacking flavor. If you want a much better burger, head to Veras in Newport Village. On the plus side, it has a good atmosphere for a drink or appetizers.

Pleasantly surprised with the food on this restaurant. The cauliflower wings were a delight, the burger both chicken and beef were 9/10 and the fish and chips are well cooked. Excellent Fries too! Would come back again soon!

We came with friends, the patio is great because is petfriendly!, the staff specially the girl that take our order was great , she definitely make our experience better, to start we ordered some appetizers and as main, the burguer of the month that was the cubana, two out of the three we ordered wasent great, the bread was so stiff that it was difficult to bite, they changed and remake them for us and it was better. The music in the patio is really loud and disturbs the residential area. Can you please turn down the volume??

Had single fish n chips. It was garbage. The fish was dry. Probably cooked two days prior. Dark appearance for fried fish. Guiness was over 70 degrees. Last time I was there it was very poor. Ill never go there again. The server didnt seem to give a damn, like its a Normal thing there.

Decent overall. Happy hour prices were great. The Nachos are insanely big and so good. We sat on the patio, which allows dogs! :)

The burgers are really good, but we dont always want to go out to eat. Find it very frustrating when restaurants dont allow customization on the food delivery apps - you can add things but cant take anything off! As someone with a tomato allergy, not being able to say no tomatoes means I cant get any burger and we end up ordering elsewhere :(

We had a very unpleasant experience at Romer s Port Moody location. While the service was good, the food was disappointing. We ordered the crispy chicken burger, but the chicken was extremely dry and had an off-putting smell and taste.

Great food, happy hour specials are good, staff are so nice and the bathrooms are clean. Oh, also a cute spot with a huge patio. If you found this while googling what to eat, this is your sign to pick this place.

Great happy hour choices. However, I dont recommend the nachos. -They dont use regular tortilla chips (seems like wonton strips instead) -They were super greasy -Barely any toppings -Does not come with salsa or sour cream -Theyre called Valentina nachos but hardly any Valentina on them They are disappointing. Try something else on their menu (such as happy hour fish tacos). Admittedly fish tacos better at South Vancouver location than Port Moody. Server was friendly and professional though.

Food was good but it took a long time to come out. Received appetizer and 60 seconds later they arrived with our food. Rarely saw our server.

Yet another great dining experience at Romer s. Enjoyed the mushroom burger (with Borasin) and the mac n cheese. Really fresh, tasty, and served fairly quickly. Our server was wonderful, friendly and engaging while remaining genuine. Romer s has been a fantastic experience, every time.

When I first went to this restaurant when it opened it was fantastic! Now it is subpar and expensive. Their burger was cold, underseasoned and mediocre. They advertise as a smash patty but It doesnt have the thin of a smash patty or the size of a full patty, didnt even cover the full bun. Their fries are soggy and like their burger underseasoned, at least they were warm

I think the place is nice! You can have a fun time for sure.. I was expecting more from the burgers to be honest. I was very surprised with the drunken donuts ! Sooo good! You must try it !

First time there, so yummy.

My friends and I visited romers recently looking to get some classic pub food. We ordered onion rings and wings to start, they came quickly and were great - which was the only positive thing I can say. We also ordered burgers, one of which we had to send back twice because of a wrong order and then missing toppings. It still wasnt properly corrected. And they charged $4 for a lettuce wrap instead of a bun for the burger??? The waitress would stop by the table and didnt clear any of the obviously finished dishes in front of us, she also didnt refill our drinks. The wait time for our mains was way too long, we were in the restaurant for more than 2 hours. There are a couple more things that I wont bother mentioning because this review is already getting too long. Honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences in recent memory.

Went in with the family during dineout vancouver promotion. Had the set three course menu. Unfortunately, the hostess started off by setting the bar low from when we entered and didnt seem to be very attentive to us entering the restaurant as well as not being very familiar with the menu items. The food tasted all right and was decent enough, although they were out of some of the menu items even though it was a set menu. Did, however, offer some substitution options. Overall the consensus of our group was probably a 3.5 Stars

Really like this place, and very handy as we live close by. Food is great service friendly and decor is inviting. Only thing, it was cold outside during our visit (5-6c) and inside was cold enough that we did not take our jackets off. As there were a couple of space heaters going managment knows it s an issue but still needs attention.

Romers is great place for an absolute delicious burger. It is charred to perfection . I just had cheddar and burger, so the flavors were on par. You can load it up any way you like. A must try restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Can enter restaurant easily with help for door . Tad heavy. But once inside , ability to move thru to a table .

Seems like the place is understaffed. Got here at 1:05pm with my dog hoping to order brunch which ends at 2:00pm. Lots of open tables on the patio, more than half were unoccupied. We were told the wait would be around 20minutes but ended waiting 55 minutes until 2pm and still no table. We were looking forward to brunch so we left. The people who managed to be seated seemed to be happy!

They never have the heat on when it needs to be, often cold. Like the drinks, no music.

I quite like their mushroom dishes Vegetarian options: There are a fair amount of vegan options. Parking: Free parking right in front of the restaurant and free 1-hr parking is available nearby as well.

Service at the bar was great, first time there. Serge the manager came over to personally check on us and chit chat with us, he was awesome! Fish tacos were FANTASTIC! Highly recommended

I went in for DOV and our food had not come out for over an hour, to the point where we left after the 1 hour 10 min mark. what made it worse was that the server seamed like she didnt even care.

Parking is scarce. Street parking is very limited. Paid underground parking is available. Food is decent. Service was very good. Our server was very accommodating and attentive. There was a party going on when we were there so it was a bit loud and distracting but otherwise okay.

Paid over $25 including taxes for this smash burger as you can see this is definitely not a smash burger. With Burger fries and a Diet Coke this meal after tip was $34. Definitely not worth it and these guys need to learn what a smash burger is. Fries also tasted stale. Burger overall was tasty, but it was definitely over salted, plus it isn t the burger as described on the menu.

Unfortunate that I must leave this review but I must warn all about this disappointing experience. I have been to Romers a handful of times over the past years and while the service is typically slow the food is generally fantastic. Before today it was a go-to spot but my service the past couple times Ive gone have been atrocious and today it seems they are having some sort of promotion which forces you to buy an entire three course meal which contain items not on the regular menu. I asked for one of these burgers and they denied my request saying its only available through this promotion. I was fully willing to pay full price for just the burger and fries but the waitress did not even bother to ask for ne. This made it quite clear to me that they do not care to accommodate their customers. Very upsetting that the customer service is so poor, would be better off going to McDonalds.

Great food and patio. I think they forgot our order as it took way longer than the table that got there after us. We werent in a rush so it was fine. Perfect spot for us as its local.

Just had a very dry wagyu beef burger. Plus very bad chocolate mousse for dessert. The fries great but really? Servers are nice, drinks ok. Feel they do ok in business just because of people who live above it and its handy. Ive tried this place a few times but best to stick with basic appy and drinks.

We love coming here for birthday dinners! The food is always fun and delicious with decent choices and the staff are super nice and accommodating of my FIL s disability which truly warms my heart. Also super transit friendly for family coming in from downtown!

The food took over 30 min to arrive COLD. The burger was not edible at all. After few bites noticed parts were still pink and stopped eating. $50 for 2 uncooked burgers and did not want to wait another hour to get it replaced. Left here feeling very sick

Called in for a quick night cap on my way home. The vibe there was great, loved the music. The bar staff are so welcoming and friendly. Maiella was amazing...made me feel right at home! Would recommend Romers for any occasion!

A really nice neighborhood restaurant with all your favourites. Im still wondering when they will get a coffee machine that will make cappuccinos after all these years now.

Drinks were great! Their cactus club nock offs hit the spot. I would say if the bartender spent half as much time observing the room and noticing people half way out the door with their jackets on instead of taking selfies with her friends she would get better tips.

I ordered seafood linguine, and the gave me a palm amount of pasta. The small bowl it came with, was a 3rd full. a child wouldnt be full with the amount they gave me. Ill never ordered from them again.

I called at around 4:30pm to say I wanted to place an order in advance. I wanted to pick up at 6pm. I arrived at exactly 6pm and took the food home. I had the ahi tuna tataki as an appetizer and the surf and turf burger. Unfortunately, each piece of the crispy wonton that was holding the tuna tataki was completely soggy. The sauce of the tuna tataki went right through each thick piece of crispy wonton. The fries that came with the burger were cold and had no crunch to them. The tuna tataki is mostly raw. I hate to think that the food was sitting there for 1.5 hours before it got picked up. I even specifically reminded them its for 6pm pick up.

Great staff that make you feel special, especially on occasions

My family of three went for dinner during the dine out festival. We chose to try this restaurant as they list they are family friendly, good for kids, and the food options on the dine out menu were ones my family usually enjoy. Unfortunately, the only good part of the meal were the desserts, which we ate at home. Despite listing they are family friendly, and good for kids under their about information on Google, they don t have a kid s menu. Also, on this particular evening, it took an hour for appetizers to get to our table. Not great for anyone, and especially not for a preschooler waiting for dinner. The Caesar salad was very bland, and dressing was not mixed into the lettuce. The coconut shrimp were soggy on the bottom like they had been sitting on the plate waiting to be taken for service for a while. We also ordered the calamari appetizer which was so tough we couldn t eat it. The pasta for the mac and cheese was undercooked, but sauce tasted ok and had a good amount of it. The Nashville chicken tasted off and was very greasy. The lobster and shrimp linguine was bland, had barely any seafood on it, and the arugula in it was sour tasting. Both of our entree dishes were barely just warm when they got to our table. Our server told us it would be at least 20 minutes for our dessert to get to our table. Our time on paid parking was about to expire, and we did not want to extend our parking just to wait for and eat dessert. We asked for it to go instead. After speaking with staff about our experience, they did take part of our meal off the bill.

Chef has a heavy hand with spices. All meals at our table were mouth tingling spicy even those dishes we were told were not. Underwhelmed with the service. Might try it one more time just for a burger. Parking: Underground parking across the street

This was one of our go-to places in the neighbourhood Hostess was excellent, drinks have gone downhill, Sangrea missing fruit, 9oz red with dinner was maybe a 6oz Waitress was non-existent then scattered when we finally got her attention, understaffed? Went here for dinner with a larger group, service and staff was good. I ordered their 9 oz double Smash burger but it was definitely not a Smashburger . It had a normal thickness that was common amongst the others who also ordered it. We all noticed that the burgers were pink in the middle and they were quite dry, let s hope they grind their own ground for burgers and it wasn t undercooked. I also ordered brussels sprouts as a side dish and they seem to be not fully cooked but had good flavor. This was a let down based my previous visits to roamers at the other locations. It has always been a high-end burger experience, but tonight wasn t the case. The fact that I was in a group might have lessened the quality but the burgers all around weren t anything special for the group in general. Spending $60 for two burgers and a side dish of brussels with a mediocre experience is unfortunate

Server was great. The calamari? Well, Im not sure if Im more embarrassed for the executive chef who designed this abomination, or the poor squid whose last moment on this Earth was spent in a dehydrated pile of piscine protoplasm deep-fried to a leathery tooth feel, drowning in the schadenfreude of a patron emoting deeply for the line cook charged with executing this flavour monstrosity from a freezer-dessicated cephalopod. Im embarrassed for Romers. Im embarrassed for the chef, the cook, AND the squid.

Staff was lovely but its my second time at a Romers, first time was Burnaby. Now I can attest that the food is substandard at both locations. A trend, lousy food at Romers.

Only like this place for the dog friendly patio (although you ll have to ask 10 times for water for your dog) and cheap happy hour menu. Service is SO SO slow like ridiculously slow. I ve been here many times and you have to literally NAG the servers for stuff. If you have a lot of time and patience then you ll be fine here. Food s mediocre

Was excited to try out the food at this establishment, but unfortunately it went horribly wrong. I informed our server of my allergies, and the kitchen staff did not consider this. I am allergic to sesame, and they put a ton of sesame seeds all over the Jamaican dish I ordered. Our server took the dish back so the kitchen staff can correct this mishap, however, all they did was mix the sesame seeds within the sauce, clearly as an attempt to hide it, all while neglecting their responsibility to practice food safety, etc. I tried to pick out the sesame seeds just to see how much was in it and I realized it would take quite a long time, thats just how many they mixed in from the topping they poured on it. This was nothing short of a despicable experience. I ended up with a bunch of hives all over my body, courtesy of Romers Burger Bar cooks on Saturday, April 29th at approximately 7pm.

Made an order through doordash. Cold upon delivery even though the driver was quite fast. The fact I could count four small pieces of mushrooms on my mushroom burger is ridiculous and they forgot tobput ceaser dessing for my ceaser salad. The quality barely better then a fast food joint. Complete joke for the price I paid.

Im new to Vancouver and some friends and I were passing through and arrived around 930pm last Sunday and stopped in to grab a late dinner. We were told the kitchen is closed for the night and we werent able to have dinner. Its too bad because we tip well and had a good sized group ready to come in and have a bite to eat. Didnt get a chance to , the girl at the front was friendly enough but we left with empty stomachs. We left and went to a different restaurante up the street and were told the same thing about the kitchen closing, but the staff at the other restaurante accommodated us and prepared us a bunch of applies to hold us over and went above and beyond for our group. The night turned out great because the other restaurante kept their kitchen open for another 15 minutes and had us all drooling over their delicious applies that they fed us. If these guys gave that kind of customer service I would be leaving a better review.

Servers tried their best but simply lack experience...no fault of their own. Over 4 visits to this location in 2 years the food quality has taken an obvious decline; not prices though. Sadly Im left to abandon Romers as an option for good food and a fun night out.

Usually not a bad place to eat but tonight even though I had a reservation with a confirmation email, they told me I wasn t in the system and even though the place was basically empty they told me something was up in the kitchen so the food would take a while to come out. I left because they clearly didn t want my service anyways. No apologies for the inconvenience. I won t be coming back.

We had a group reserved lunch here. The food was middling. The staff is young and not trained well but nice. Pour your own wine and all the guests food arrived at different times about 10 minutes apart abd it took forever to get any food. They only had one server on for the group that was on part of the problem. Burgers were not great for a burger place. They have a low score for a reason. Way better options out there. No one ever came back to see if we wanted a drink, restaurants was empty too.

FYI the patio gets a lot of shade so if it is not hot out you better bring a sweater or jacket. Its worth noting that the noise levels can be higher during peak hours, and that might not work for some who are going to chat with a friend or a date. Went for Fathers Day brunch. Nothing to write home about, good was just meh/OK. Lovely ambience and staff. 1 free drink for Dads was a nice touch. Took a while to get our food - the items were basic, and the restaurant definitely wasnt busy. Maybe its better for lunch?

Very tasty burgers!

Everything we ordered was very good, salmon burger, fish tacos,mini sliders,grilled Brussel sprouts, yam fries and the beverages were great.

The nacho experience with sweet and spicy sauce and deep-fried chips didnt appeal to my taste buds. The imbalanced flavor profile and greasy chips were major letdowns. However, the coconut shredded battered shrimp added a spark of deliciousness to an otherwise lackluster plate. Also, there s a burger in the happy hour menu that I really recommend sink your teeth into it. If you find yourself at this establishment, I recommend giving the shrimp a try, but be prepared for a less-than-perfect nacho experience overall.

Ethan was a great server. The atmosphere was really chill and welcoming. Food was good, boyfriend got the Nashville chicken burger and I got the chicken tenders. The only thing I didn t like was the honey mustard. Parking: 2 hour free street parking, and 1 hour free underground

Ordered delivery. Food was cold, overcooked, burnt in the edges, and it s not tasty.

Ordered a Nashville chicken sandwich with truffle fries. It was easily the worst Nashville chicken Ive ever had. It had 2 separate pieces of fried chicken, both of which were overcooked to the point where it was tough to chew. The larger of the 2 pieces had a large clump of partially cooked dough somehow. It basically tasted like a chewy overcooked doughnut. For $27 it was ATROCIOUS. Truffle fries were good though.

Too busy to sever even a beer 30min wait for food Service

Very interesting place. Service staff were very good although I think this place is suffering from parking which makes staffing an even harder problem. I had to park 3 blocks away just to give the place a try. Now that I was there the Cubano burger was off the charts. I paired this with a house red and bingo the matching was very good. Dog friendly and just a great place in a tough place to park.

Parking: Only free for 1 hour then you have to pay as 1 hour isnt long enough, also we pay to eat pay a generous tip and then pay again to park , that was my only negative experience otherwise it was awesome.... Food

The burger patties were too dry (not overcooked, but seems to be too drybasbif they were cooked and left to cool for a while and then reheated?) and the fries were too brown for our taste. Our party did not enjoy the burgers but the tuna tataki deliciously prepared. Perhaps we visited too early on a Sunday when the cooks were not quite ready? It was a disappointing experience considering our past good experience with other Romers locations.

Food was okay. Not bad, but not amazing. Good service and atmosphere. They have happy hour. Could use milkshakes or some good nonalcoholic drinks.

Always fancied this location. It s in such a cute neighborhood as well. The restaurant itself gives rustic vibes in a welcoming way. It s not an overly big space but it makes it to be an intimate place to be. It may get a little loud when busy with the music and voices over powering but a place to be when wanting something more chill and laid back. The service was wonderful. Our server checked on us a few times (although I feel like she over did it on this), but overall I think she as great with the service. Food wise: I guess what I had previously tried when I first visited this location years ago was pretty decent but it s been years since I came here. I got the hula hula tofu bowl which really was just like a salad bowl. Not fully what I was expecting it to be as a rice bowl with slightly lack of flavour. Although it did have a bunch of veggies in the bowl that I really like. I think my favourite part were the donuts which were DELICIOUS

I ate here only once, but I had a good experience. Of course you are going to pay a little more for your burger here, compared to Burger King or A&W, but the quality is definitely superior. The service was also very good, my server was friendly and professional. I had ordered just the burger, but it was brought to me with fries by mistake. She offered to take them away, but unfortunately I couldnt resist. They were good fries, and I didnt want them to go to waste.

So glad to finally get into Romer Suter Brook. Kiara was awesome - very attentive and accommodating. We had 2 vegans and 2 toddlers in our group. We were here for brunch but want to come back for evening drinks...especially if the weather is nice, so we can enjoy the patio. Parking is tricky (like anywhere in the Vancouver area), but there is 1 hour of free parking underground right across the street from Romers. 68 height max for the parkade. There is pay street parking in the complex but might be tricky to find. Dietary restrictions: I got the avocado toast with extra cado since I dont eat eggs. Wheelchair accessibility: Super flat location..inside or on the patio. Washrooms are on the main floor also.

At Romers, I indulged in their Mans Man Burger, and it was an absolute delight! This burger joint offers big, tasty burgers, fresh salads, and crispy fries in a cool West coast-inspired atmosphere. A must-visit for burger lovers!

Prices seem high for a neighborhood pub, but leave that aside they served charred burgers, not only mine, but others too on top french fries were over cooked, now how do you mess that up?!. Well, you can pay close to $80 for two and be served ,honestly, the worst youve ever had. Unacceptable, you charge money for food not briquettes, right?

Overall a decent experience. The highlight was the service. Just the right balance of checking in but also leaving us alone! Nashville chicken burger was ok. I would have preferred a bit more heat, but tasty nonetheless. The mans man burger got solid reviews. The Thanksgiving burger didnt get rave reviews... it wasnt bad, but just not great. Was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, got a bit busier later on... not sure why they werent busier. I would eat here again!

Got sat at our table and we waited 30 minutes for the waiter to even acknowledge us. Then we finally ordered our burgers, waited another 30-40 minutes for food. Extremely greasy burgers, it was gross. The waiter didn t check on us during our meal. After waiving waitresses/waiter down multiple times to get our bill, finally someone brought our bill. The bill came up to $80 for two burgers and two beers. It seriously has to be a joke. Won t be returning to this restaurant

One of the best burgers in Vancouver!

Our Family sat out on Patio, lovely weather.Flocks of geese flying above us, no bombing! I had the dinner, Not gravy lover. Turkey seemed over done. Vegies lovely, mashed potatoes tasted great. It was a Special evening with our family. Turkey burgers looked yummy. Pumpkin cheesecake is delicious. I love that dogs are welcome,Bella was a good gal. She had a treat given to her.

Tasty burgers, fantastic service and craft beer...what more can one ask. Was here after my sons hockey game and can say that I would highly recommend checking out Roamers. If we are in Port Moody I would definitely be back, I only wish we had one closer to home.

I love a good burger, but seriously folks, I havent had a burger this good in a long time. A big thank you and hell yeah to the culinary forces at work at Romers. Im very certain you wont find a better burger anywhere in the Tri-Cities. Oh, if you are craving something nostalgic, try the Parmesan Onion Rings , which is now my go to starter. 5 Stars out of 5 ... I might just be going back again this Friday, theres still lots more to explore on this menu. PS: Dog Friendly Patio Space is a plus

Love this place. Great food, if youre looking for a burger try the Nashville Chicken Burger (nice and spicy) or the Double Smash Burger which is fantastic (no other description needed). A great alternative to a burger is their Jamaican Rasta Chicken Bowl. The staff is very friendly, in the Summer ask for a table outside.... Enjoy

Absolutely hands down best sweet potato fries and burger EVER!

I won tickets to the Brewmaster s Dinner and it was an amazing experience. The owner and the staff from Twin Sails were so warm and welcoming and created an amazing 4 course meal for us that paired with a different Twin Sails beer. Even though I didn t pay I couldn t believe it was only a $35 ticket for 4 courses and 4 pretty much full sized beers. We had an awesome time and it was an incredible value for what we got.

Below average food, indifferent service, a terrible atmosphere. So LOUD, mostly due to the layout - not in that energetic, things are happening way, but rather more like an endless drone. Avoid.

I think they have updated their food since the last time I came in, definitely more enjoyable then my previous experience. Cauliflower wings were delicious, the Jamaican jerk was nice and spicy, burger of the month was a little greasey but very yummy. Attentive and courteous staff.

This place is great. I ve been here a bunch. The food is great! I ate it too fast I forgot to take a picture. Love the food. The manager is great! The bar is a cool vibe too if you wanna chill or watch the game.

Had a tofu bowl which was pretty uninspired and Mac and cheese was cold and super salty. Service was non existent. Waited 20 minutes and finally got up and asked if we were assigned a server. Turns out no. Waited an additional 10 minutes until a surly woman came over. Have eaten here many times but wont be back.

Delicious food! The pastas are underrated, but the burgers live up to expectation: amazing. Very friendly staff and manager. Can accommodate food restrictions, children, and even dogs during the summer! (your dog might even get a treat from the staff)

Romers is a well established chain, but the Port Moody location seems to struggle, despite a great location. The food is basic and the service is scattered and aloof. Tonight we brought friends from Vancouver and waited while we watched staff milling about and polishing empty tables while ignoring us.

I had a great experience hosting my office holiday party at Romer s this year. We booked the private space upstairs. Our server was great and very attentive, the food was good and came out on time. Would recommend for a party.

Tried the Classic BBQ Beer Burger and Mini Me Sliders. The burger meat was delicious, with good size patties. The Beer infused BBQ sauce was so good. Both the Burger and sliders came with fries (option to change to salad or yam fries for free or extra charge for poutine). Service was great. Drinks and food came fast. Kid-friendliness: They have a kid menu which is not advertised on the regular menu.

staff was great. They made sure that we were taken care of and genuinely treated us as valued guests
