I have noticed recently that a new shop opened in the plaza, so I decided to see what it was all about. I tried a Donair, chicken plate and their Hummus. They are so good, the owner is pretty chill and a good guy as well. My go to place for Donair in Port Moody. Keep up the good work.
The food healed my soul. Even though the lamb shank was a little bit cold, their food still tasted fantastic.
Best donairs ever! Their chicken platter is my absolute favorite. Food is fresh, hot, and delicious. The owner, Amir, is so incredibly friendly :) Definitely my favorite donair place not only in the tri-cities, but in the lower mainland. Highly recommend 👌
I recently went in to get a bowl. The place is definitely very clean. The staff is staff, nothing out of the ordinary. They’re obviously there to sell. The food is good but my bowl was on the stingy side for the price I paid for it. I think I paid 15 bucks for two table spoons of chicken on top of taboulli salad. I don’t mind paying 15 bucks for service but not for two table spoons of meat. I gave tip as well (not sure why). For this reason, I won’t come in here again.
First time and loved the savory lamb wrap also chicken platter was a huge generous portion ..delicious! the best!!
Recently, I tried this place because a couple of my friends recently discovered it as well. They ate here every day for a week when they first tried it. Their donairs are sooo yummy! I highly recommend them, I just wish they were open later !! I'd come here often after work if they were, like damn ! Hahaha

Fantastic donairs, extremely friendly staff and service, very clean restaurant area and kitchen, fresh ingredients. We ordered the regular Chicken and the regular Lamb donairs to go, and both were absolutely delicious and very juicy. Stayed warm all the way home, was stuffed full of ingredients, and a great portion size for a fair price. Highly recommend, will definitely be ordering again next time we want donairs!!
Great tasting chicken and the dill rice was excellent.
I got food poisoning from this place. I had the meat and rice bowl. Obviously the chicken was not properly cooked. This was the only food I had all day and approximately 8 hours later extremely sick. This happened on 24-12-10 in case anyone else is sick.

Clean place, nice sauces, meat not dry, well executed. Best donair place Ive tried in the tri-cities, Uncle Moes is now #2. Money well spent. Will be back for sure. Not a single time has this place failed me. Food quality is top notch, always fresh and tasty. The owner knows what he is doing, imagine that? I had a talk with him and hes a great guy and deserves your business. Best restaurant Ive ever been to for consistency (I know it should be simple but every other place fails at this) and Ive been in the culinary industry for 20 years. Excellent food. Good service. Just a few tables inside but more than fine. We have a falafel salad bowl, beef platter and a beef samosa. Sauces and hummus were really fresh and homemade. Highly recommend.

The donair was top tier and the guy who took our order was so chill. Me and my buddy ended up talking with the guy for 20 minutes and he gave us a free sample of an amazing desert. Highly recommended.

I discovered this place on a lunch break and I love it! I took others there and they loved it. The donairs are incredible, the folks that work there are wonderful and its not too expensive.
I just went Im for dinner tonight. Amir behind the counter just elevated my Beef plate by adding his homemade Chutney to give the Hummus an extra spicy kick!! I tell you that it was the best secret item on a already great platter. Unreal food and service.

Visited there at 10:40 am firstly there was no one to attend the customer. I went back after 2 min and the guy was on phone constantly not bothering about attending the customer. Very upsetting.
Donairs are one of those things that, even when done bad, are still good. But when done right, they are absolutely amazing. This is one of those times. The donairs and platters at Royal Donair are hands-down the best Ive ever had. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. The meat is cooked just right, and the vegetables are crisp and flavourful. Do yourself a favour and give this place a try.

Fantastic addition to Port Moody. Food was fantastic (falafel wrap) and the guy at the front counter (Noah I think) was super friendly and told me about the other location on Fraser. Gonna try that one too.

This place replaced the old donair place that had been here for years, but the previous guy retired. The new owners gave this location a massive upgrade with a renovation, new equipment, etc. Some things I was happy to see: * Lamb shank is an option. Fantastic news for lamb fans * Tabbouleh is an option for a salad. For some reason this is weirdly hard to find in donair places * Generous portions. I was full after eating a platter. On top of all that, the price was very reasonable for what you get.

Donairs were delicious. Veggies were fresh. Toasted/sandwich pressed the donairs which I always like. Price was reasonable. Option to add more meat if you want, but I found there was plenty to eat as it is. Restaurant was clean and neat. Parking was sufficient when we went. Will come back again for more donairs and maybe try the platers too.

Just dropped by for lunch for me and the fam, got two beef/chicken rice platters and a Halifax Donair. Owner was friendly, restaurant was tidy and clean. Tabbouleh was fresh, beef and chicken were flavourful and the owner had an option for rice with a hint of dill that was great. Donair hit the spot as well. Will be coming back!

I highly recommend this business! The food here is absolutely delicious! I tried the mixed chicken/beef donair wrap and was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. If you like spicy, get them to add the fresh green chili paste. I loved it! And great customer service with friendly staff! I would definitely go back!
