My friends and I went to the Hard Bean Co for lunch today and we were all satisfied with our overall experience there. Not only was our food and atmosphere of this place amazing. But our server Elise was just AMAZING. She connected with us and just had a such a beautiful energy to her that made our experience so great. she had high sense of urgency and helped everyone with such ease. Our table was super blessed to have her as our server. Big thank you to Elise for making our dining experience at the Hard Bean co just spectacular!!!!

Came in with my family for lunch. The restaurant was busy, but we didnt wait long for a table. Our service was impressive. Food was great!

Service was fine, nothing to write home about. Food portions were minuscule, prices were expensive. The menu is absolutely massive but maybe they need to take some notes from other places and specialize in a select few dishes and do them well and with good portions instead of a bunch of random mediocre food that wouldn t fill a 10 year old boy s stomach.

Great spot! Lovely interior, staff are prompt, and the food was really tasty (had the Basic with the blueberry maple sausage - yum!) I do wish their toast came with some jam. Overall a really nice brunch!

We had the best time at the Hard Bean Brunch Co. The food, service and atmosphere is amazing. The nachos are unreal. The food and drinks are affordable. We definitely will be back again soon. The address was correct, but the google maps and the Apple Maps directions made it difficult to find. I know they were working to get this fixed. They have clear signage outside of the building. It is located inside Metro Vancouver Conventions and Visitors Bureau above the food court.

The atmosphere was pleasant. I had their smoothie bowl. It was okay; tasted a little watery. It looked pretty though. I might return and try their other dishes because the reviews are so positive.

This place was really really good. We got the deconstructed potaoe skins that were bloody delicious for something simple and then the Breakfast Sando and it was equally good. Prices were reasonable for this day and age and the service and atmosphere were great. Our waitress was friendly and always smiled which was nice. We will be back for sure!!!!

I had a burger and a latte. The burger was not great. It was a bland, and the patty was charred and over cooked. I got it with yam crisps, (or whatever.) They were tasty, but the dipping sauce they came with was not... the usual spicy mayo would have been a lot better. The portion was also a little small. The latte was bad... really bad. The coffee was bitter and sour, the milk was overheated, and the foam was frothy and coarse, and floating on top as if it had been spooned on, rather than micro bubbles mixed into the steamed milk as it should be. Everyone else in our party liked their food, so maybe just avoid the burgers and the espresso drinks. The service was quite good. Our servers were friendly and attentive, and I found the pricing to be reasonable. The dining area was clean and the decor was nice enough, although the a/c was blowing right on our table, so it was a bit chilly. The kitchen is quite visible as you walk through the dining area, and it looked clean and tidy.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE SMORES FRENCH TOAST

Dont walk- run to this place. I live in Victoria and brunch is a mood for us so I was excited that my friend loves this place and I can see why. The service was amazing. I was shocked how fast our food came out. I ordered the yorkshire benny and it was literally amazing- their hollandaise is some of the best Ive ever had. The mimosa flight was fun (they do a few different flights) and very reasonably priced given how expensive our world is. The atmosphere is also lovely and inviting. Highly recommend!

Came for brunch and had issues with all services. - we made a reservation but had to wait 20 minutes to get seated (requested a highchair and did not get one) - 2 out of the 3 brunches we ordered were cold (cold eggs, cold potatoes, cold toast. Only sausages were warm) - fries served with kids grilled cheese were overdone. They were rock hard. The kitchen shouldnt put out food thats not edible, and the server shouldnt have brought it over. We will not be coming back.

Been here on an evening and the atmosphere was very nice. Service was a little slow but friendly. Parking is kind of a nightmare but we were able to find some street parking a block away. Decided to order delivery tonight. Kids Mac and cheese was very small but really good flavour. Also ordered kids grilled cheese - they sent the adult brunch grilled cheese not the kids one. The bread had seeds and was rock hard. Flavour ok but the hard bread, over cooked bacon and the fact that it wasn t what I ordered was annoying. The fries it came with were over cooked and cold but that s the risk you take with delivery.

Kid-friendliness: They have kids menus that serve as colouring sheets and come with crayons. The kids menu has a decent variety of options that should work for any kid. Food

I was there for brunch. The food quality was good, especially the items recommended on the menu. However, the house coffee didnt meet the same standard; it was watery and lacked flavor. Overall, it was a good experience

October 17, 2024 update: I returned to the Hard Bean Brunch Co in Port Moody today with my Aunt. We had an excellent meal again. I got the Basic Breakfast which has blueberry sausages or bacon, eggs made your way, smashed potatoes, and a choice of toast. It was delicious, especially the blueberry sausages. The atmosphere and service was also amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great brunch place.

I went to the Hard Bean in Langley for a birthday date and it was an awesome experience. I wanted to do some fun surprises for my date and the staff we so accommodating! Great night thanks to our server (Olivia) and the rest of the staff.

Really yummy brunch! They have so many great coffee and food choices as well as mimosa flights. A great brunch spot to catch-up with the girls! My friends loved the eggs Benny and I recommend the bacon and eggs breakfast tacos. So tasty! Service was a little on the slow slide but they were also super busy. Nice outside patio too and they are dog friendly outdoors which is a huge plus.

The location is good especially if you can sit outside. The service was friendly. The food is very expensive for what is served. $17+ for a tiny omelette and some cut fruit. Definitely not enough for a brunch. In fact not enough for even just a breakfast. Is there no competition in the area?

So the food not bad but when your here lots of people on the patio have their dogs here and it s like many people and their pets all at once seen dogs up on the tables and chairs shaking off their hair and sneezing their fluids all over personally this isn t something I want to see dining in restaurant at 25 dollars a plate per person. Heads up also, didn t even see the staff wipe the tables after either for the bonus puke factor not sanitary and just beware

Back a few times since this review. Service always great. Lovely mimosas. Tried strawberry waffles. Yummy. Busy Sept but reserved & had great experience. So Giving you 4 / 5 so I come back & try some more items. Never even looked at the drinks menu! Came back for drinks. 5 of 5 now. Waiter and hostess were great with my friend needing gluten free. She is celiac. And I had the best eggs Benny I think Ive ever had or can remember ..Im a boomer. Bacon done right. Eggs done right. Yorkshire done right. Cool idea rather than sour dough muffin. Have already made plans with another friend to dine here again. Dietary restrictions: Great you have an actual menu for gluten free options.

The place is nice. The food is ok. I think its a bit overpriced. You can be original with the food without destroying the classics. I had the salmon bennys and the salmon was a full fillet. Overwhelming. More is not always better. The potatoes were a bit over cooked.

Staff were very courteous and proactive. Food came pretty fast and was tasty. The vibe was chill despite being a fairly busy Sunday lunch rush. Honestly though I think what spurned me on to write a review was how impeccably clean the washroom was. Oh and no obnoxiously loud music made for a kid friendly outing. Will be coming back soon!

Very nice place and great food

Was shocked by the amount of strawberry compote on my strawberry waffle, there was quite literally 5 slices of strawberry across the 4 pieces of waffles. I was too anxious to complain/ask for more since we were with friends. Wish I took a picture, but my husband and I just exchanged looks instead, my waffles looked nothing like other photos I saw here. Insanely overpriced for the quality/quantity. But the cauliflower burger my friend had looked and was delicious.

Service was great. Got the job done for brunch and a latte. Portions are a little underwhelming compared to price point. Overall, decent!

We have been here for dinner and we have been here for brunch. The menu has something for everyone and you wont be disappointed.

Wow! Brunch spots are all around but rarely are they this good. Drink menu is wonderful - wide variety including various flights and seasonal options. Food menu is just as diverse and everything is simply delicious. Service was amazing despite it being so busy. If I am ever back in the area, I will absolutely be back. 11/10 recommend.

Ive visited the Hard Bean Brunch Company several times now, and I can confidently say that each experience has been positive. The food at the Hard Bean Brunch Company is enjoyable and well prepared. Ive personally tried the beer bacon burger, quesadillas, and the eggs benny, all of which were well priced and sized. There is also a wide variety of options for dietary restrictions. Marina and the rest of the staff were incredibly accommodating when I brought my dog to their pet-friendly patio. Overall a very solid choice of restaurant for casual eating at all times throughout the day!

I had the worst dining experience ever at The Heart Bean. From the moment we entered, the servers attitude was dismissive and unwelcoming. We ordered a meal for a group of adults and children, but half of the orders never arrived, leaving some of us hungry for over an hour. When we complained, the response was rude and unhelpful. We left the restaurant without any apology or attempt to rectify the situation. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, especially with young kids in our party. I would strongly advise against dining here.

A reliable local restaurant able to look after whatever your appetite is. Nice drinks and dog friendly patio. Im glad there are rules to ensure dogs arent too loud or disruptive for other diners. We shall return!

New brunch spot is super popular. Definitely recommend the flight of mimosas or flight of beer with lots of local Pomo brews to choose from. Eggs poached to perfection, crispy chicken burger was delicious. Upbeat vibes, and chic interior with big patio space. Will definitely repeat and revisit to try out the rest of the menu, and check out the restaurant in the evenings.

Great ambiance that brings vibrancy to a friendly area, friendly staff and pretty good food. We had the Yorkshire Benny and avocado toast, and both had great flavour, more than just plain ingredients in a plain bun. We didn t have to wait too long since we arrived at opening, but this place gets busy in a hurry, so make a reservation or come with time to spare if it s a weekend. Really liked being able to walk to the playground at Rocky Point after a nice brunch - this really is an ideal location. We ll come again!

The breakfast was delicious.

The pancake trio is good but the banana one is very basic. The espresso martini is 10/10, we love the Benny s there and decided to try the avocado toast but didn t love it. Very basic and not much taste. They sat us outside under the sun where the umbrella was broken so that wasn t so nice and then the waitress never came to check up on us so I wasn t able to request for hot sauce or napkins! Love their chicken pesto quesadillas 10/10

Very disappointing experience overall. I cannot recommend this place. The food was bland and I needed to add hot sauce to make it flavourful. The service is horrendous, and our food took so long to come out. The music is also so loud and it can be annoying. Many other great options for brunch, and this is not one of them!

I discovered this awesome restaurant just last week, and have now gone twice because it was so good. Food is really delicious, well presented, and in reasonable quantities to be just right. Servers are cheerful, helpful, welcoming, and attentive. Dining can be inside or outside. I have tried the waffle with strawberries and whipped cream, then the Maui Teriyaki Chicken, and both were fantastic. Nothing was left on my plate, and I was totally satisfied. A friend had the watermelon salad and loved it too. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian dishes on the menu; and you can ask to have any meat (i.e. bacon) left out of a dish.

This place has great food but I m writing this review for one of the servers. When my friend and I were in for brunch last weekend, we had Katya O as our server. As someone who had been in the service industry for 6 year, I really appreciate good service. She was fantastic and made our experience so much more enjoyable. I can t say enough good things about our experience with her.

Solid brunch place, a few of the dishes are meh while others are really good.

A lovely place which allows dogs on their patio, which is so rare for BC! The cuisine is very filling, so if you are hungry this is place to have your hunger eliminated. When they get busy, the service becomes slow, but I guess it is standard for any place.

Why are the waffles always cold?

Ended up leaving after sitting at our table for 15 minutes and no one coming to even bring water or take a drink order. Best part, they weren t even busy.

We ve been here several times for breakfast and tonight for dinner. Hubby still got breakfast for dinner as it s so tasty and he can t help himself. Tonight he got the PB&J French Toast. I got the Hard Bean Co. Bowl and enjoyed the flavours and texture. We both had a mango margarita. Friendly service, cool atmosphere, great menu and never any regrets about coming to The Hard Bean Brunch Co. So glad they are here in Port Moody! The server dipped her finger into my smoothie bowl while serving the dish. I saw it and she even grabbed a tissue to wipe it off but didn t say anything. I was not super comfortable eating this bowl. The smoothie bowl had one kiwi, one strawberry (very thin slices), coconut flakes and probably a small spoon of granola. Displayed nicely and tasted okay but I feel like I expected more toppings for $16. Overall atmosphere was nice.

Tried the food once for brunch and it was decent. Went back recently and the service was so bad. The server sat us turned on the fireplace and served us water. She attended the other tables but never came back to us. After a half hour of waiting we took off. The cushions on the patio furniture are so gross - I can t even fathom why they haven t cleaned them or replaced them .. Maybe we just caught the server on a careless day but realistically, there was only 4 tables not cool.

Best brunch in port moody area. Wide variety of options to choose from. The portions are not consistent - specially on the hard bean hash potatoes. One time we got a big portion and was super happy but next time we came, portion was smaller. Service could be better: not attentive to fill up water as we needed to ask a few times before they actually bring us water.

Service was terrible. 50 minutes for our food. Had to flag her down and ask...and then Im pretty sure I saw her put our order in, right then and there.

This was my first time at this restaurant and was not very impressed. Our food took over half an hour after we ordered. My sister s pancakes were as thin as crepes and burnt on one side to the point where they were crunchy. When we told our server she simply just said sorry and then walked away. Was hoping to at least talk with a manager about it or maybe even have it taken care of. The rest of our food had no problems. Once we finished our meal we had to go and find our server so we could pay our bill as she never came back to our table after dropping off our food. Overall most of our food was good but the service was not up to par with what I would expect.

Arrived around 11 am for brunch, the host was polite and table was provided right away. Service was awfully provided, server didn t bring water, and my partners drink (beer) was not served until 11min later after me getting up and going to the bar to let them know the drink was missing. Server was sloppy and slow. Food was okay nothing special. Refuse to spend another dime on that place. Better brunch spots nearby. Don t waste your time/money there. Cheers

This was our last meal before leaving for home after a week in Vancouver. Service was excellent, the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. I had the brûlée French toast, it was dessert and breakfast in one. Delectable! The pancake tacos from the kid s menu were a nice twist too.

Overall had a good experience today! Love the location and the service was great - friendly staff. One thing I was confused about was how my smashed browns were not really smashed and undercooked. Everything else tasted great.

Came for brunch on Easter Monday and it was busy and loud. Very bustling atmosphere! Had the Avocado Yorkshire Benny. Eggs were a perfect soft medium poached. Liked the different base with the Yorkshire pudding, which had a nice, soft flakiness. It was on the smaller side of some bennies weve had at other brunch places, but the quality/presentation was there! The smashed browns could have been a bit more smashed and crispy, it seemed more like cubed hash browns. The gluten wise Hard Bean Co. Bowl was tasty. However, I couldnt justify the $26.50 price tag for it. The salmon seemed a tad overcooked, and while the broccolini had a charred aftertaste (I think the florets were a bit burnt), the brussels sprouts and cauliflower werent really roasted at all. They were very bland and more seasoning couldve added so much more depth and flavour to the bowl. Maybe they didnt want to outshine the salmon? Service was good and friendly, minus when the wait staff forgot our water refill near the beginning of our meal. I was also seated in a high table chair that got knocked into accidentally a few times by staff moving around as it was close to an aisle. May seem like a minor detail, but we loved how many gender neutral individual washroom stalls they had. Anyway, it is a good spot for brunch and they have a lot of options and cater to dietary restrictions, which is appreciated.

Hard bean is a cute decent sized brunch place in port moody. Wonderful selection of food, everything was tasty and not over saturated in butter or grease which is always a bonus for breakfast. OG Mimosa: still too sweet. ====================================== I think this place has potential. Ill preface this by saying Im an adventurous eater: I like things with bold and interesting flavours. If you like uncomplicated food, this place may be more your speed. Pro: nice ambiance; curated menu that covers all your basics; has vegan and gluten-free options. Con: busy, so dont expect quick in and out; food can use more seasoning; inexperienced staff. Breakfast grilled cheese sandwich: its an interesting choice to put hash brown in a sandwich. For a grilled cheese sandwich it needs more cheese. The grilled bread has a killer texture: it has a satisfying crunch, but still manages to be fluffy. The Basic: needs more salt across the board. A little too much bread and potatoes. But still decent. Corndog: best thing we ordered. Crunchy, well seasoned, and nice dipping sauce. The Classic pancakes: Very good. Would be better to have butter on the side because the top pancake soaks up all the butter. Espresso: do not recommend. By the time I got mine, the crema was already gone and the drink was lukewarm. The drink itself also feels kinda weak. Get their drip coffee, its actually quite good. Mimosa flight: wayyyy too sweet. If you dont want to taste your alcohol this is for you. Any kind of interesting flavours is overwhelmed by the sweetness of these drinks.

I stopped by for just a casual appy and drink. The chicken quesadilla was fantastic! I really loved it. Excellent variety of drinks, plus superb service. Ill visit again.

Me and my girlfriends love this place for our regular Sunday breakfasts every few weeks. Typically I d book a table in order to skip the wait at the door and get a table at a certain time. Love the atmosphere, the food is great, the service is amazing. Occasionally we opt with mimosas - tried once Mimosa Flight and the favourite now is Pogmosa. Lovely place indeed.

Service and location is great but the food wasn t. I only tried the egg Benny but I d expect that to be good given it s a brunch staple. Eggs on a Yorkshire doesn t work in my opinion as it s basically just egg on egg with egg sauce. I think it could be fantastic if they worked on the food some but with the current menu I doubt I ll return

So expensive and the music is way too loud and the portion sizes are so tiny. BUT I had a really good time here with the people I went with and the service was adequate and although small and expensive, the food we ordered was yummy.

Just had a meal at this restaurant, and heres the lowdown: First off, the servers were super nice and friendly. They really made the whole dining experience a breeze. As for the vibe, it was spot on just the right amount of cozy and lively. Now, onto the food. It was tasty, no doubt about it. But heres the kicker there was just too much oil involved. So, if youre on the lookout for healthy options, this might not be the place for you. Overall, good people, good vibes, but maybe not the best spot for health nuts.

Small portions, and my wifes eggs were totally cold. Waitress was very friendly, but was disappointed that just the barely bare minimum was done to rectify her meal that she ended up eating by herself as everyone else needed to eat while their food was warm... My eggs Benedict treated good, but small. I ordered the same coffee as my nephew and his girlfriend, but got a completely different coffee!

Pedio is working well. Even though it rained, I was able to eat warmly. The bacon was very crispy and the egg benny was seasoned just right. It was a bit disappointing that there was a lot of trash on the floor.

Update: Went back with friends and had a marvellous experience, from the emails with the very attentive manager Cassie about the reservation to the lovely service. Food is delicious! Great spot for sure! Been wanting to come here for a while and they didn t disappoint. Flavours are rich and portions are perfect. But don t come expecting a big brunch variety, because the menu is very limited, and be ready to wait patiently for the food, they seem to be always very busy. Service is very friendly though and atmosphere is great, so the wait isn t painful. Parking: Street is always packed, there s underground parking but it can be tough to find a spot.

Had a really enjoyable brunch here the other day, it was our second time. We had had brunch at their other location so we were excited when this one opened up. I ordered a Caesar with a chicken pesto quesadilla and fries, my husband ordered the beef welly Benny with bacon. Their food is solid and we enjoy our time there. I would say it is somewhat limited and kind of hit or miss. I have enjoyed my food there but I ve brought friends and tried theirs and it s been ok. If eggs aren t your thing this probably isn t your place. Super fun to go and try but maybe not to return over and over. The service has always been fantastic and the drinks are great.

Came here for a Dine Out date night. It was a quiet weeknight and easy to find parking and a table. Decor was relaxing and they had several options for seating. Started with the salad which was as good as it looks. Refreshing too. Got a medium rare steak which was cooked perfectly. Came with tasty smashed potatoes and some nice broccoli. We decided to pair the steak with the recommended Merlot. Good choice. The dessert strawberry waffle was a great way to end the meal. There was a craving for their shoestring fries and we were not disappointed. The service was great. Will look for a chance to come back again. Parking: Easy to park in a quiet weeknight.

Exceptional service and the food is amazing! I ve been here twice, once for brunch and once for dinner, food quality has been consistent. Their dine out Vancouver menu was perfection! I got the watermelon salad, steak sirloin, and strawberry waffle which were all perfectly portioned. I also had a bite of the pesto linguine which was divine. I can t wait to go back! Kid-friendliness: I saw children running around and the staff were kind and friendly about it, this was wonderful to see in a family community.

I got the Pesto Linguine for take out last night.. I was so angry when I got home and tried it. It was the most terrible pasta Ive ever had. It was super dry. Even the chicken was dry and the pasta to chicken/sundried tomato ratio was 90/10 not even.. if youre going to charge people 23 dollars for a pasta like a fine dining restaurant at least have the decency not to feed them garbage. Never coming back again even for brunch

I absolutely hate this place at least I would, if I owned a competing restaurant. I can t even begin to describe the welcoming environment, the friendly staff, the creative menu choices, the speed of service, and even the plating that artistic plating that makes the food almost impossible to eat because you just want to savour each dish with your eyes. Especially the Steak and Egg Tacos and Avocado Toast. I mean, come ON! This is supposed to be a bistro, not an art gallery! There is ample parking underground, with an even friendlier sign with an invitation to Brunchy Hour between 3:00 and 6:00 PM and from 9:00 PM to close. This has only been my third visit and I have yet to try the Bailey s Coffee Flight. Do NOT go to this place. Then I won t ever have to wait for a table!

First of all, I rarely gave bad reviews to any restaurants. I think this is the 2nd restaurant that I gave bad review. It s not about the food or the restaurant itself, but I blame more to the server we had on our visit. We were a group of 6, it was a family day long weekend so the restaurant was packed. We were given a small table which was fine. The server did our order wrong - we asked for kid burger without ketchup so we had to send it back. We asked for nacho as an appetizer to share, but it came with all our main dishes. The manager was very nice and took care of it. The server never came back to refill our empty water whereas my friend saw him refilling water for other tables. When the server bought the bill, he came with the machine so I could only quickly glanced the bill just to make sure the items were right, didn t pay attention to the price. My bad, I realized that some charges were wrong when I looked in more details. Benny was overcharged, and didn t get discount for the Mimosa flight (Monday deal, unless holiday doesn t count). So I doubt if I ll ever go back to this location.

I only knew about the best restroom nomination from social media, but I was pleasantly surprised by the food here. This place seems to always be busy but we were promptly seated at the bar and the food was delicious! We had corn dogs, maui burger, and beer bacon jam swiss burger. We love the Hard Bean. We were there for a Birthday Celebration , making a reservation for 6 was super simple online at 2 am and the food was excellent. Service was spot on. Looking forward to our next visit.

I always love coming here! Last time I went with my best friend we both REALLY enjoyed our brunch. Busy but we didn t even wait long for our food! And our server was super friendly, she s awesome. I had the Yorkshire Bennie and I loved it. My friend also loved her Bennie! It was perfect! The eggs were well cooked and the Yorkshire pudding fresh. I got a banana hard coffee too and it was to die for!!! I love that you can get a hard iced coffee rather than hot, because I don t really like hot coffee personally. It was boozy enough but not overly so. You could still enjoy the coffee flavour itself. We both said how much of a nice brunch it was. Great atmosphere! Great, creative options and value for money (these days, you don t see that as much). The portions are filling but not gigantic and everything is fresh. I saw plenty of kids and seniors alike- so safe to say, something for all ages to order. It s a nice place to bring your family, significant other, friends or yourself for a solo brunch! Can t wait to come back :) Vegetarian options: I m vegetarian and I never have issues with Hard Bean! Plenty of choices. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan menu clearly marked. We live close by and love coming here. Their breakfast nachos with mole beef are unreal. We also really enjoyed the 9pm NYE party. I cant wait until next year.

The Hard Bean Brunch Co. was very busy for Saturday brunch, but luckily you can reserve a table ahead of time. The service was good, especially for a large table of 9 like ours. The server was quick to come by the table after the arrival of each guest and all of our food got served at the same time. Food-wise, it was disappointing as the portion was small as compared to the price and the hash was overcooked, especially since hash is an integral part of the brunch menu. The mimosa flight was good though as we got to try 4 different types of mimosa beverages. Ambiance was good and washroom was individual stalls with everything you need and it was clean. This restaurant is convenient for those who take public transit (near the Moody Centre skytrain station. We booked a Brunchy Hour event at the Port Moody location for 20 of our staff members and the food and service was excellent! Our team was raving about it the entire next day. We had the manager and dedicated server taking care of us and were there for our every need, they even set up a hot chocolate station (complete with toppings) and a mimosa station for us that were an absolute hit! Would 100% recommend this place!

Been getting lots of food recommendations from friends and this one was on the list. I will say the vibe is very cactus club like and I it seemed to be one of the busier (if not busiest) brunch spots in the Port Moody area. They had fun drinks that were instagram worthy and neon signs with fun quotes on them. People of all ages were here, but I d say it s most ideal for you and your friends to have girls Sunday brunch. We ordered the barnyard omelette, hard bean co. bowl and pancake trio. My favourite was the hard bean co. bowl, it was one of the healthier options and came with a decent sized salmon. I felt the salmon was a bit overcooked, so it was dryer than I wanted but the whole dish was on point in terms of flavour. It was simple and left you feeling good afterwards! The omelette was pretty basic, generous with the toppings, especially the cheese (makes everything taste better). The potatoes were more like smashed potatoes, rather than hash browns, but that didn t matter. I d say this dish was decent, but not great. Lastly, the pancakes - none of us liked them. There was something missing to it, could be lack of toppings, but it was just too much and too dense. Could ve definitely used more flavour too, tasted like a premade pancake mixed bought from a grocery store at best. I d advise you not to order this dish. Overall, I feel this is a place that is busy because of the vibe and the fun drinks. Their food isn t bad, but it s not a place I d come solely for the food, that s for sure. I felt the prices were okay, but not a place I d return to. It s a bit too overhyped for me.

Ugh Katie seriously was the best ever. We enjoyed her as our server muchly. We had a delicious brunch for real and the caesars were immaculate. Avo toast to die for. I might have pomegranate seeds in my teeth but that ll be a good snack for later.

I ve been to the Hard Bean about 10 times. While I ve never been blown away and have enjoyed myself and still considered it a fun place to take people from out of town. Unfortunately tonight was really disappointing. Everything that was fried tasted burnt and had a lot of grease on the plate. I mentioned it to our server that the kitchen should check the oil as this is a sign of old oil. She said she would check with the kitchen but never communicated anything back to me. MIL came from out of province and the teriyaki chicken burger had a chewy piece of barely cooked bacon. When a meal that had literally 4 bites is left one would think to ask if she didn t enjoy it. Admittedly we were using a coupon from the Tri-City coupon book but in any other restaurant that burger should never even ended up on the final bill. There were a few other minor disappointments in our experience that I won t go into.

This is the perfect neighborhood spot for a quick bite and refreshing adult beverage. Love it!

Love this place! We needed a table outdoors so that our dog could join us, so they set up the fire pit and heaters for us, on a colder rainy December day. Kudos to the staff for coming outside as well. The food was amazing: breakfast charcuterie board is a must try. Most of us had the Eggs Benedict on a yorkshire pudding, fantastic! Parking: Limited number of spots for parking underground. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible from ground floor, elevators from parking.

Love that there is a really good brunch place in the tricities (and not downtown)! The dishes we picked and the service was really good. I like the style and layout of the restaurant. Also the bathrooms were really clean! Fairly busy on a Sunday afternoon, but we got a seat by electing for the bar. For two in the dining room it would have been a 40 minute wait. There are great free parking options near this place, and specifically it was nice to walk here after going to church nearby. Would love to eat here again.
