The One-Sixty is a full-service restaurant and wine bar located in Port Moody, BC. Opened in April, 2023, it offers a relaxed, modern vibe, and a focus on locally-sourced, sustainably farmed products with an accessible, international wine program.
Big portion for the price and good to order a few dishes to share. Good for friends gathering. Love their scallops and beef carpaccio. Local draft beer 🍺 must order
I came here for the first time for a brunch date and the vibes at this place are so chill, friendly and the place looked very elegant. The food was amazing their waffles are extremely crispy. They also have a real coffee machine not one of those instant ones so the lattes are amazing. The lady who made mine even did little bunny art in mine.
We had a wonderful experience tonight at The One Sixty. I’m so excited to have fine dining level food available in the tri-cities. The atmosphere is lovely and the service was great. The scallops were delicious, the bruschetta was packed with flavour and the braised beef just melted in your mouth. I highly recommend for a special night. I’m looking forward to coming back to try their brunch.
In general was ok, but i think that the experience could be better if the food is tastier, in general all was well ordered was fine nothing really amazing, we went for a brunch with friends, stay in the patio and the sun was intense, they only have 2 umbrellas in good conditions but both were occupied, the staff gave us one that was broken but fortunately it was enough, maybe brunch is not their forte, so maybe next time i’ll go for the wine.
Finally had the chance to go here, but ended up disappointed in the end. Why? I guess it's because I entered hungry and unfortunately left hungry :-( The dinner menu was divided into smaller and larger dishes. I went for the larger pasta, but it ended up being the smallest pasta portion I've had in a long time. See photo. It probably about 4 or 5 fork fulls. I've seen other reviewers unhappy with their food portion size too. My wife was happy with her tuna salad portion size though. I would have been too. Other issues: We arrived about 4:40 PM and weren't sure if we just sit down ourselves or wait to be seated. We were given the happy hour menu, at first, and then they took it away, saying it's too late in the kitchen. Never experienced something like that in a restaurant before. I don't think I will go again.
The One Sixty experience was both elegant and casual, where our party felt comfortable without getting too dressed up, but we're impressed with both the well-decorated dining area and the presentation and quality of the food. Whether it's a date night, hanging with a colleague after work, or just want to bring the family together, this place is worth checking out! Quality wine pairings and delicious appetizers rounded out our excellent dinner entrees.
What a gem! The food is so amazing. We were here for lunch one day and had a great experience, so we decided to come back for dinner. We had the bruschetta and the halibut for dinner and both were amazing! Great food and wine, great service and atmosphere…what more can you ask for? We’ll be back!
The One Sixty Wine Bar and Cafe offers a delightful culinary experience with its exquisite fries, delicious gnocchi, and generous portions. The fries are perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making them an irresistible treat. Their gnocchi is cooked to perfection, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich flavors that leave a lasting impression. What sets this restaurant apart is their commitment to serving sizable portions, ensuring that every diner leaves fully satisfied. Whether you're a fan of classic comfort food or gourmet delights, The One Sixty Wine Bar and Cafe delivers an unforgettable dining experience.
One of our favourite restaurants in Port Moody. Always friendly staff, with great feature days like Wine Wednesday & Tuesday Date Night. Still looking forward to trying brunch one day. Food
Came in last-minute, last Thursday with my mom and brother who live nearby... This sort of ambiance is well overdue in the neighbourhood- very chill, modern yet cozy. Its so nice having a spot that isnt a chain restaurant to cater to suburbia! Our server was great, he was very kind and made us all feel welcome and appreciated. Our food was excellent- we had gnocchi and pesto pasta and carpaccio but even the bread/butter Appy had some unexpectedly fun flavours. We didnt receive any of the typical attitude for ordering appies only, which was much appreciated, as this was not a planned dinner. The appies were so good, we ordered extra cuz the flavours were really on point. An independent restaurant that is actually making you unique, seasonal food-- it might not taste as predictable and frankly, frozen, as the stuff the chains provide (as per one review I read)-- but its so nice having a real restaurant with an elevated menu in this hood. Also they have an AMAZING wine list here-with flights!- its really an experience for people who value fresh food, nice cocktails and wine, without having to treck to Van. Fam and I really glad this place is there, recommend .
One Sixty in Port Moody is a true gem! The food is outstanding every dish is flavourful and beautifully presented. The service is impeccable, with a friendly and attentive staff who make you feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot for an unforgettable dining experience in the Tri-Cities!
Service was adequate and atmosphere is nice but food was not acceptable for that price point.
There last night with friends for a bite to eat and to try some wine. We had a really lovely time with Mikaela as our server. Food was top notch and we thoroughly enjoyed our wine ( tasted a couple before choosing our bottle). Will definitely return and also sing your praises!
We had a great experience at the One Sixty tonight. We shared the Date Night Menu. The service was fantastic, food absolutely yummy and just the right amount with a fabulous wine pairing suggestion from our server. I would definitely recommend and cant wait to go back.
Not sure how this place averages a 4.3 Unfortunately this place did not meet expectations. Dined with a group of 8 people. Spent $38 for ONE braised short rib with a tablespoon of mashed potatoes and one boiled parsnip good grief. At least give me two or three pieces. My wife had the $36 Sablefish that came with some vegetables and seemed like it didnt come with any complex carbohydrates? What kind of combination is that??? Plus the flavour was not good and confusing lol 3 of my friends had the smash burger and honestly that looked like the most worth it to order lol which is kind of sad Another friend in the group had the spaghetti pesto and ordered 2 large scallops to go with it ($6/piece) and the scallops looked like regular scallops. He also claimed the pasta was mushy so not even al dente. Disappointing. Service was nonexistent and our food took almost 50 mins to arrive. No pictures to post for proof unfortunately because we all finished our food out of respect of not wasting it.
Had a wonderful evening at the One Sixty. The service was excellent and the mushroom ravioli was delicious. Highly recommend this place for a nice dinner.
Amazing food, service and wine! Will definitely go back! ESP love the bruschetta and gnocchi yumm!
Last night, my friends and I decided to try The One Sixty Wine Bar and Cafe after hearing mixed reviews. Unfortunately, our experience fell firmly on the disappointing end of the spectrum. To begin with: I sent a message to the restaurant a day before asking them to add one more guest to the reservation but no one answered. Tried again and no response so I called and was told they couldn t accommodate the request because they will be extremely busy . I insisted and they agreed but to my surprise they didn t add an extra chair, they just added an extra plate setting which means 4 of us had to squeeze in an area meant to sit only 3. They could have easily moved the small table next to us to make more room, specially since said table was empty the whole time we were there, as well as the table across and the one in the corner. That was handled poorly. We arrived 10 mins early for our reservation, and it took only a few minutes to get our table which was great. It s a Beautiful restaurant, well decorated, not too loud, great ambiance, very welcoming and inviting. The menu looked promising, but they were out of several items to begin. However what blew my mind (and not in a good way) was that the bar is not well stocked; they couldn t make a mojito, a cosmopolitan and a montecristo; very common drinks with basic ingredients. We ordered two appetizers: The scallops were perfect and the charcuterie board was ok, good size but not impressive for the price and it definitely doesn t need apple sauce!. Our main courses were really good: Wild Mushroom Ravioli, Autumn Gnocchi, Pappardelle Bolognese, and Pesto Linguine. The service was underwhelming. Although our server was very nice and friendly, she was not attentive. Another server was the one checking on us making sure we had water. It took forever to order and receive food. (Arrival 6:20, food service: 7:55pm!!), my wine glass was empty for a long time before she even noticed. Small plates were never cleared and therefore when food arrived, they had to manoeuvre clean up and serving at the same time. The most disappointing part was that they did not an acknowledge the 50th bday we were celebrating at all: not even a candle, no free dessert- nada. To top it all off, some individual bills were wrong. It s a shame because the location has so much potential, but based on this experience, I doubt we ll be back anytime soon.
Unfortunately had an average experience at this restaurant. Orders took an hour to arrive even though the restaurant only had 4 tables. Service was slow and the food was just ok.
A pleasant place with good food. But I dont recommend it during rush hour because its over the road. A bit expensive for Port Moody. Kid-friendliness: There was a high chair there. There are no childrens dishes on the menu.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant! The service is incredible, the drinks and food are so well prepared and delicious!
Tuna salad was pretty good, but needs more taste on the tuna, and more dressing on the salad
Overpriced for what you get. Food is mediocre.
Tasty food ,small portion no any sides, expensive food
Food is yummy but if you are hungry dont go there. No any sides , Small amount food and high in price. Food
Nice resto but the food quality and portions for the price might not be as expected. The decor is pretty amazing and the service is also great. Happy hour is awesome tho.
Unbelievable gem in Port moody. Sophisticated, creative, but very approachable menu!!! Outstanding wine selection. Great experience based events like wine tasting pairing nights, date night specials, etc. And the team are amazing. Friendly, helpful, and so knowledgeable.... this is a do-over, many times...
The service and ambience are amazing but we felt like the food could have more oomph, depth of flavour to it. Onion Risotto was good but the special with halibut and pork belly was not what we expected/boring. Chicken & waffles were good. This place has potential for sure but for $150 for 2, the dishes could taste more elevated.
Love this place. I own a business near by and it s my place after a long day. The chef is young, innovative and hungry to try out new things. Service is fun, relaxed and I feel like we re friends. It s nice to see Port Moody get a local restaurant that has quality food and service.
I d give it 0/5 stars if I could, the owner or the manger (the bald guy) has no manners, horrible service, mediocre food, and a whole lot of attitude. Better off going to cactus club because at least they treat you like a human being over there, and the fries aren t cold and hard as a rock. Plus you won t have a bald manager disrespecting you the whole night. This man needs some serious costumer service training himself and the waiters are have bellow average iQ and costumer service too. Don t make the mistake we did :(
The food and wine were fantastic. Had the scallops, braised beef and duck all of it was great.
I overall enjoyed my evening there. It s great that the tricities have some nicer restaurants to choose from other than the chains. Location is great (close to transit and Rocky Point) and ambiance is relaxed, and with a good energy from the busier crowd. The food is where I m unsure of: My meals have been fairly good (ravioli, beef, and a pork special) and the wine selection is very good too. However, you will pay for downtown Vancouver prices and that s where I have a problem and where this restaurant suffers in my review. For food that was very good (not great) and significantly smaller portions, it s a hard justification to come back. This is the tri cities and as a local resident, there is an expectation that prices should be reasonable. I d rather pay the same price and be in Vancouver or the North Shore where the food quality (and location) can be greater. Also the Burrata salad was poorly made. Not only because it s overpriced for a mediocre textured burrata (rough, lumpy and runny with whey), but it s also blended with some measly seasonal fruits that couldn t have cost a whole lot to prepare. A bit underwhelming. That being said, One Sixty is still worth a try because there s some very good things about this place. Service is very friendly and it s the type of restaurant in the area that I d like to see thrive. But until they bring their prices down, improve on the portions or tighten up on the menu, maybe just order some shareables, enjoy a very good selection of wines (they have flights!) and make plans to eat elsewhere for your main meal.
Absolutely love The One Sixty - the food is excellent and the service is fantastic - highly recommend
Great local place that you dont have to go all the way to downtown Vancouver to experience. Great job! See you for dinner soon
This restaurant is like a wine bistro but I had the worst dining experience in a long time. I ordered the Burrata ($28) and my son the Smash Burger ($22) after yet another gruelling day of unpacking after a recent move but as we were very casually dressed, we not only received minimal attention, I got declined by the guy who served me my order when I requested for some butter or olive oil with vinegar for my bread. He said just eat it with the cheese. There was no sauce at the bottom of the dish and it was fairly dry and the bread was crispy hard so the burrata was not sufficient to moisten it. They charge fine dining prices but there was no practice of fine dining service. My dish was so dry and I waited a long 20 mins before I could catch my server s attention as she was busy waiting on some other tables to insist I need the olive oil or butter. The food is quite nicely presented but nothing is outstanding about it. It took another 10 minutes before I caught her attention to pay the bill after the meal only to realize they charge for a cup of hot water and a slice of lemon at $3.95. Frankly, I would have been alright with that if the service was impressive but the 2 of us were ignored all evening, we took our own selfies and we were not once asked if we needed more water. I informed my server that I have never been charged for hot water before and she answered that they charge for the lemon slice I requested for. I do feel that diners have a much better option dining at any of the restaurants nearby like Spacca Napoli, Hard Bean Co, Rewind or Taps and Tacos or the awesome Tang Ma Ru or Sushi Modo for this price and even Cactus Club would have won hands down. Actually any cafe or restaurant anywhere would have been better! I ve never seen such atrocious service in a very long time. Truly the worst dining experience I ve had in the last 30 years or more from the time I could recall. You will need to pay me to return to this restaurant. Do yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere especially if you are casually dressed in a hoodie and sweats. Come well dressed otherwise! My teenage son agreed that we should have gone anywhere else. Considering that I am a 5 star Superhost on Airbnb constantly recommending good dining options to my guests, I will never recommend this spot to any of my guests.
Popped in for a catch up with a friend and sat at the bar. Absolutely lovely experience. The food was delicious and the wine tasty. Service was on point - there and ready when it was needed but not overwhelming.
Enjoyed a really delicious Eggs Benedict here as part of the brunch menu. It was served on a cornmeal waffle which was crunchy and delicious! Nice to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine if you arrive midday. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible entrance
Went with my family for Father s Day brunch. I made a reservation ahead of time, but the place wasn t busy at all - lots of seating still available. 3/4 party members ordered the eggs benny and they all enjoyed it. I ordered the waffles and found them too rich. They tasted great, but it seems like they are fried after cooking and I think they would be better without it. Portions are good, not too much but enough that you re full at the end of the meal. Coffee (cappuccino and drip) was solid, which I was happy about because I find a lot of places around Vancouver have overly bitter/burnt-tasting coffee. Definitely interested in checking out the dinner menu sometime or going out for date night!
It s refreshing to see a decent wine bar & restaurant in Port Moody. Walking distance from Rocky Point, they also have a dog friendly patio, so that s definitely a plus. We went for dinner awhile ago, I ordered a duck confit. Taste was what I expected, decent but nothing knocked my socks off. Brunch was more recent, I had their prime rib hash, my friends had a smoked salmon egg Benny and chicken & waffles. Their brunch menu is pretty small and nothing really stood out. The prime rib hash was fine, a tad too oily though. The chicken & waffles were too deep fried and dry. We find their brunch is quite over priced. With the average taste & subpar service (that don t even refill coffee & water), their price tag is definitely hefty & under deliver. With another good brunch place nearby, our friends and I much prefer Hard Bean.
Horrible restaurant!! I havent felt this disrespected in my life. We went there on a weekend to celebrate a friends bday. We ordered the charcuterie board and white wine, but we didnt like the meat the first time we tried it, so we respectfully asked the waitress if its possible to change our order. The manager came to our table and rudely asked us why we ordered it if we werent going to eat it. None of the waiters came to check on us, and our cheese board replacement never came. I wouldnt even recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Their primary focus is being a wine bar. For being a wine bar I was expecting that they would have a more extensive selection of wines but they didnt. Dont believe they have any wine flights on their menu either which I wish they had. Tried their bruschetta and it was very tasty and packed with toppings! Maybe far from traditional. It still good and quite filling. My waiter Ian was amazing! Very accommodating, and checked in just the right amount (not too much or too little). He was very knowledgeable and if he didnt know something he would quickly check. He made the experience memorable. The location is not in a place you would expect as its tucked away in a small commercial and residential complex. Their sign was not easy to spot for me either when youre driving by. There is very little street parking available. You will need to park in the public underground complex. All in all it was a good experience but it didnt feel like I was at a wine bar. More like a good restaurant experience.
We love this local gem. This is our 4th time at The One Sixty. Wine selection is rare in the Tri- Cities. The option to build your own flight from their extensive wine list is pretty sweet. Loved the Arancini as a shared plate, and my Ravioli with duck leg (one of the protein options) was exceptional. My wife tackled a smash burger ... described it as really tasty. The lemon tart lasted about 56 seconds... enough said about that. Servers know their stuff and the atmosphere is lively with great music and energy. Go!!
It s about time we had a nicer option for a night out in the Tri-Cities. This place has all the right vibes, delicious food, and an array of beautiful wines.
The bruschetta was amazing, but the additional price for the goat cheese was odd as it should have been included. $42 for the halibut entree and it was underwhelmingly small. The chocolate mousse was lovely. The latte seemed more like a cafe au lait so I assume it was a single shot drowning in milk. I can appreciate if they are aspiring to fine dining - small portions with great flair and service. That s where I think the let down was. Our appetizer plates were left on the table for at least ten minutes after we finished eating, and our entrees were placed on the table with the dirty dishes. I was asked if I wanted to keep my dirty cutlery, which was at this point on my appetizer plate in the server s hand. I declined and asked for clean cutlery, and the server scooped a set off the table next to us. The attention to detail that their prices suggest just wasn t there. I m glad we went, but I m not sure we ll be back. It s a shame because I wanted to love it.
Delicious food and even better service. Rene was Fantastic! Highly recommend it.
I was there with my family for Mother s Day brunch. It was a special menu for the brunch and looked great, I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately it didn t live up to expectations at all. Started with a basket of baked goods for the table which included mini croissants, mini danishes and a mini cinnamon bun, all were a bit stale, the danishes were very soft from the glaze, cinnamon bun was a bit hard. For the mains, my mom has the smoked salmon Benny which she liked, the hash browns on the side looked nice and crispy. Plating was good. Some of the group had the chicken and waffles which looked great, presentation was on point, but some of our group had to wait a bit for their meals because of a mixup, it happens no biggie, but we noticed that when theirs finally came out the chicken pieces were significantly smaller than the meals already served. They also said the waffles were very dry and the chicken was a bit dry also. I ordered the prime rib hash and boy was I disappointed. I think this was one of the worst brunches I ve ever had. It was a soggy mess. Hash browns are supposed to be browned and crispy.. these were the opposite. I couldn t tell if they actually tried to brown them first and the gravy just drowned it or if they meant to do this. (And why was there gravy anyways??). It was also a different hash brown than was served with the bennys, those had been deep fried and unfortunately we got some soggy pan fried potatoes. There was very little prime rib and what there was I found to be a bit fatty and had some gristle. VERY thinly sliced which would be fine if they d added an appropriate amount of the meat. One of my eggs was edging towards hard and the other was ok. Plating was the same as what one would do at home but tbh I d have done better. I had hoped for something comparable or better than Milestone s prime rib hash so was very disappointed. I couldn t eat it. I just had the meat and a bit of eggs. Super disappointed because I d heard such good things. I might give it another try for dinner since my sis had a great experience but I ll give their brunch a pass from now on.
We just arrived home after the Roche Winery dinner, and I wanted to write about the great experience before I forget. The kitchen designed the menu specifically for the wine pairing, and it showed. The food was innovative and excellent. We enjoyed all the wines (had not heard of Roche before tonight), so will definitely be looking for them at Everything Wine. I think the restaurant managed the event well it definitely was busier than usual since there were other guests in addition to the winery dinner, but service was still very good with several team members assisting. Highly recommend - so nice to be able to enjoy this type of evening without having to go downtown! Parking: There is free parking underground for 3 hours, including EV charging for a fee.
we went for the first time for our anniversary recently, and LOVED everything. the charcuterie and scallops in particular were delicious, Sadly on our second visit the charcuterie was nowhere near as good - we got the medium instead of small but basically got the same amount of stuff for $10 more -but this time the bread was stale, the pickles were a mixture of bland and soggy or underdone, needed more dips, and could have done with more meat selection. the nuts were plain too, the first time they were lovely and coated in something, unique and tasty. Overall we were disappointed. not worth $30 for the charcuterie board and a real shame the standards had slipped so much.
Love the boards and fantastic wine pairings. The staff are also amazing!
The cafe was about 1/3 filled, but the waitress directed everyone to sit at the back of the cafe to make sure you feel crowded and noisy like a Chinese dim sum place. The next thing you notice would be a greasy slippery floor underneath the table. Price on the menu is on par with other places. Ordered two coffee, a chicken and waffle and soup and sandwiches. The chicken and waffle is about half the size you would get at other restaurants. The waffle is about half the size of eggos. One good thing is that you can tell they make their own roast beef for the sandwiches. And you get a free upgrade from roast beef to beek tataki. The roast beef is so raw that the bread is soaked with blood. First tips option on the Machine is 25%. Lowest preset option is 18.
This is a gem in Port Moody! Just found this restaurant last week and have now been there twice. The food, the atmosphere, the wine list and the staff are outstanding! We are working our way through the menu. Last night we had burrata to die for .the mushroom ravioli and the smash burger and scallops were excellent. Downtown vibe without leaving the tri city s! A must go!
Staff was very friendly and interactive.
This place had potential but we went here for brunch today and the portion sizes are sooo small for the price. We ordered the prime rib hash (28$) and the chicken and waffle (17$). I requested the hot honey on the side instead for the chicken and waffle. The server came by to say that the chef had accidentally put the honey on the dish and asked if id like it refired the way that I had ordered it and i said sure, but they mustve had the prime rib skillet sitting there the whole time because for a hot skillet it came very cold. The cast iron skillet they use is appetizer sized for the meal, so the portion was super small and barely had any prime rib. Potatoes are cheap so I m not sure why it couldnt have been made in a size to feed an adult female. The single waffle and lone chicken drumstick were a sad size as well - again, not sure why they didnt at least add a waffle. The chicken was lacking in flavour. Maybe their dinner is better but if this is the result with only 2 tables for brunch, I m very hesitant to try it again.
Best gourmet hamburger in the TriCities.
This place is wicked expensive. Atmosphere is nice, and service was great but I cannot believe how much I paid for what we ordered. Drinks are not cheap here.
For me this place is overpriced both the wine and the food. The burger doesnt even come with fries and costs $24 and this is a dinner menu Id rather get a cheaper bigger burger with fries from Cactus club and enjoy a glass of wine there too.
Good place for a date night. Patio could use Infratech heaters! Owner pls invest!!!
I had the set menu for Valentine s Day and was pleasantly surprised. This was my first visit and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. We were blown away by the duck confit! Service was great as well
Food was of good quality but quite small portions. Ordered the burger which was tasty but it came with 8 fries!? Also it is very noisy. It was hard to hear the others at our 4 top and we all have normal hearing. Wine selection was excellent.
It was our first time going to The One Sixty Wine Bar & Cafe and we will be back. Food quality was excellent especially for a place outside of Vancouver proper. Loved the atmosphere and wine selection. It seems crazy to say, but I would go back for the big salad alone. That said, everything from wine recommendations, the bread plate to the beef cheeks were quite enjoyable. Will be back again and again.
We really enjoyed our first visit. We had the Date Night special and the food was amazing. We ll be back!
I love this restaurant. The atmosphere was really cool yet cozy. The arctic char and arugula salad were delicious. I really appreciated that the music was kept low, so that we could hear our friends conversations. The service was friendly and attentive. We can t wait to come back.
Average place and food. Friendly staff
What a great gem in Port Moody where the service is excellent and the food options very creative. Really enjoyed ourselves here.
Romantic date night restaurant or wine lover!! Really enjoy their smaller dishes. Able to try different varieties on the menu. All beautifully made with reasonable price. Great wine options.
Fantastic food and great wine list. A welcome addition to Port Moody!
The One Sixty is exactly what Port Moody has been screaming for. The decor and ambiance is amazing and what you d expect from a high end downtown establishment. There s a good variety of share plates tapas style and great wines to accompany the food selection. Highly recommended.
Great vibe! Excellent selection of wines and interesting and delicious share plates. So nice to have a classy place to enjoy a glass of wine with friends without having to shout over the TVs and sportscasts!
Fantastic food, great atmosphere, even better wines. So nice to have this in Port Moody.
My wife and I tried The One Sixty during their soft launch. This elevated tapas style cafe offers an impressive selection of unique and delicious sharing plates, beautifully prepared and served in a contemporary restaurant setting. The menu is a diverse and enticing collection of culinary offerings including more than a few delicious plant based options. We shared the warm olives, charred broccolini, patatas bravas and the Italian burrata. All were delicious, but I d definitely go back for the patatas and burrata - outstanding. The wine list consists of a wonderfully refreshing array of old and new world options that are different from the usual suspects found at larger franchise eateries. We enjoyed a bottle of BC Cabernet Franc that paired beautifully with our dinner selections. The vibe is lively and the service attentive. Lots of free parking and about a 5-10 minute walk from Rocky Point Park. Looking forward to our next visit to try more of the menu!
If youre looking for great wine and food in the tricities...the 160 is your place. (Great Scotch too)
The team at the One Sixty has created a truly unique experience with their well defined menu, amazing wine selection topped off with superb service. Every bite, every sip of wine and even the casual banter with the staff created a really rare experience. Thank you so much. Last item to mention is the amazing cappuccino to finish the night off. PS Shayla is amazing!
Went with a few friends on Wednsday night and was so impressed with the knowlegable staff on the Wine and amazing Food selections. Had a Yaletown feel to the place with great music as well...Finally a first class venue in Port Moody.
Great service. Delicious food. Portions could be a bit larger for the prices but will be returning many times!
The food was delicious! Service was impeccable. Chef Dan and his team produced some amazing dishes for me and my family. The Brussel Sprouts are out of this world! And the Scallops, OMG !! Looking forward to returning!!
It was an absolute pleasure eating at The One Sixty. We tried almost everything on the menu and every dish was delicious and the presentation was beautiful . The wine and the service was second to none. Cheers to Chef Daniel and his team. We can t wait to come back when the patio opens.
Very nice addition to Port Moody s restaurants. All the dishes we tried were very good and nicely presented. The menu is a little up scale compared to most Port Moody restaurants. We tried three wines, two reds and a white and all three were very good. Service was very good. We will be coming back. They ve only been open two weeks so there were a couple of minor teething problems , but nothing that prevented us from having a pleasant meal.
Great spot to gather and enjoy a nice selection of wine. The French fries are a must!
I ve been here twice now for dinner - once for the soft opening (reservation only) and once as a walk in. Both times I was very impressed with the service, food, and drinks. The wine menu is huge and they have great cocktails and beer on tap. The prices are fair and the food is very creative and unique! My favorites are the scallops, steak, and mushroom dishes. I forgot what espresso beans they use but I thoroughly enjoyed that as well. Big shoutout to Roman (the head bartender) for taking care of us! I love the concept and can t wait to try the brunch menu!
Cool concept and atmosphere!! Great food!!, yummy wine, good service! Thanks Dan , best brussel sprouts ive ever had!!
We had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Great wine & food. Relaxed and warm ambiance. Great place for a date or with friends. So glad to have a beautiful place like this close to home. Great addition to our Port Moody community. Keep up the great work - we ll be back very soon!
I understand they re busy but we were on the waitlist and they cancelled our bar seating on us last minute. I hope next time they let us know that they are holding a bar seating and they don t just cancel last minute. We were willing to take the bar seat and was just asking if we can wait for a table seating instead and they minute we asked they said it was unavailable and just cancelled without asking us if we wanted to keep the bar seating.
Service and staff are really amazing but the food was mediocre at best at not worth the high price. Had the patatas bravas which had no flavor and felt very overcooked. The $28 burrata was just terrible. The French onion risotto was actually good though and the chocolate cake dessert was super dry and felt old but did had good flavour. Drinks were pretty good.
Absolutly amazing place. The servers are very friendly and leave you with a memorable experience and positive welcoming vibes. Very high class place. Interior is amazing and food is absolutly top notch. Defs a must visit
Service was prompt and very nice . The food however was just average .the burrata salad was ruined by the cold and soggy bread served with it .also the dessert was dry . Food was definitely not worth the price . Drinks were good .I hope they can revisit the menu and do some changes .
The One Sixty was a stellar experience. I loved the fries. They were absolutely scrumptious.
I loved the atmosphere. Our waiter Corey was fantastic. Food and wine amazing. I will be back
Great food! Love that they have wine on tap ! Nice atmosphere. Will definitely go back
Great price points for a great variety of local or Italian wines. The 3 dishes that we ordered for 2 people were excellent! Glad to have you in Port Moody
Service and food was incredible. Highly recommend coming here
Very fun and great share plates.
Super cute atmosphere. Great food! Will definitely return.
Great addition to the Port Moody restaurant scene. Place to be for wining and dining.
The atmosphere at One Sixty is great and it is such a nice place for dinner The wine selection is extensive and matches up well with the food. Parking: Parking is behind the building and they have level 2 car chargers
Well be back! Love the family style menu. The four of us were stuffed. Great selections of wine. Cant wait to check out their patio
We came here for brunch. Very basic options, which isnt a bad thing on its own, but the execution was subpar, bordering on bad. The Big Salad is just a large pile of greens for $20 - it needs some chickpeas, croutons, or anything else that can add substance. The frittata was small, the eggs benny were very basic. Chicken and waffles was tasty enough but should be called chicken and waffle - singular, not plural. Overall portion sizes were not large enough for the money. More thought needs to be put into making these dishes unique. Portions should be increased, or the price should be lowered accordingly - its not worth the money in its current state.
Fathers Day brunch treat for me - first time at One Sixty. Wonderful atmosphere, limited but excellent brunch menu and extensive wine list! Parking: A lot of construction in the area (and next to the restaurant) made street parking a little hard to find. But, worth it!
This is one of the best restaurants I have experienced for a very long time. The food was phenomenal - especially the charcuterie!! The service was first class!!
Was our first visit and excited to have a new choice in the neighbourhood. Service was attentive off the bat then it was laughable. After our server delivered our bottle of wine we felt like we were off the radar. Different server delivered most of the food and NOBODY checked to see how it was. Food was ok. Wine pricing by the glass is ridiculous-just buy the bottle! We decided to go elsewhere for a nightcap. Sadly, we won t be rushing back.
We had a great experience at The One Sixty last night! Our server Rene was simply wonderful! We sampled quite a bit of the menu, with our favourite being the Beet Humous. Amazing Wine Selection. Go in for a glass of wine, specialty cocktail and enjoy one of their interesting Appies..
A bit of a mixed review. I was excited to hear that a Wine Tasting Bar was opening up nearby. I had a chance to stop in and check it out this past weekend after The Shuffle. I had seen a menu a couple of months ago, which made me think there wouldnt be much selection for me to eat. But Im delighted to say that there were several vegetarian options, that I even had trouble deciding. Our server was very helpful in this regard. And we loved all the dishes we chose/ate ... with a couple of exceptions: portions could be a little bigger, and the crackers that came with the dip tasted ... well, kinda burnt, and were a little too crumbly for the dip, in my opinion. The biggest disappointment though was the ... price tag ... for the wine tasting. This Wine Bar has a great variety / selection of wines to choose from, but if youd like a flight, there are a couple of pre-set groupings to choose from. I chose the Spring Fling - 2 ounces of 3 white wines for $25! I was hoping that was a typo / misprint. A 5 oz glass of any of the white wines showcased in this group is $11-12. So why am I paying more than twice that for a total of 6 oz?! Ive had wine tasting flights (in which I had more selection to choose from) elsewhere for $15-16. If youre trying to attract customers to come in to try a nice new wine place (as an alternative to the breweries down the street), this is not the way to do it. I gave the atmosphere 3/5, because, though we had a nice spot on the patio in the early evening, the table next to us had a rather loud party that we had trouble hearing each other across the table. Not sure the restaurant could do much about that though. Vegetarian options: Lots of selection for vegetarian. Nice variety of small dishes with different flavours.
Excellent wine flight and food options looked devine.. Will definitely be back for more!
GOOD VIBES!
Cocktails were great, service was good, food was okay. The burrata was nice, steak was cooked & flavored well (but small portion), but the pasta was a let down. A bit overpriced for what it is. Could be a great restaurant but needs a bit of work on the menu.
Sat outside which was nice! Lots of construction beside and around due to new development.
My partner and I went for dinner last night and what a great experience. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and we were able to bring our puppy with us on the patio, first date night since we ve had him!!! Thank you!
It was good atmosphere and great vibes but I ordered the steak plate and took almost an hour. Very slow service, Im quite disappointed.
I want to start by saying that this space has so much potential but it just misses the mark. It s so incredibly loud in there, that there s no point in trying to have a audible conversation. I actually feel as if my throat is strained and I have a headache. The service is inattentive - nobody seems to communicate with each other, leading customers just kind of stranded. My water glass was filled only once after the initial pour and I had to ask for it. The food is perhaps the best part, but even that was very mediocre. Prices don t seem to make sense. The space isn t very inviting the bar has no back lighting to it, so the whole space gets very dark as the sun goes down. They got very lucky with the location, but I wouldn t be interested in going back.
Nice wine bar, food is pricey Food is tapas size. Nice atmosphere. Can sit inside or outside. It was our anniversary. Waiter was friendly. Told us special was spotted prawns 3 for $20 so we ordered scallops to share as a starter. We ordered scallops and got a plate of 2 scallops for $19. He suggested the gnocchi and steak are a nice size to share so we ordered that. Gnocchi served with pea sauce and cherry tomatoes and was very good. Steak was delicious. We shared a cheese plate for dessert. 3 types of cheese and the bread was delicious. Soft like soaked in oil. Shared wine 30% off of bottles on Wednesday. Parking underground and free. Wheelchair accessible. Will go again bit just for appetizer and a drink. Didnt notice if it was kid friendly. Quite a few vegetarian options.
Great food, nice wine selection, warm service. Great social place with friend and families.
Fantastic, splendid, exhilarating, posh, trendy, great cuisine, amazing menus, skilled bartender, great cocktails, detailed wine list. What more can I say... cuisine worthy of michelin star downtown right here in Port Moody.
Excellent place for food and drinks! Recommend the Meatballs, 5 stars all the way
The One Sixty Wine Bar & Cafe really has something special, the wine selection is great, and the menu pairs beautifully with it, the atmosphere of the space is cozy and inviting but also intimate. I can easily recommend it as a place for date nights, birthdays, anniversaries, or to anyone looking for a good night out with friends.
The food was amazing! I had the Gnocchi and enjoyed it a lot, the flavour is the perfect compliment to a beautiful fall day.
Port Moody has such a great craft beer scene (Brewers Row), but a wine bar is such a welcome addition! Food and service were great, but the highlight for me was the red wine flight! Such a great was to try some new and delicious wines!
went with good friends, omgoodness the food was so delicious. we shared warmed olives, mushroom toast (wow!), charred brussels sprouts, and Kennebec french fries (another big wow!). our friends had the chicken and waffle and char with risotto; we shared the braised beef cheek. we actually each shared a dessert too... the wine list was amazing, there is a sommelier who came over to offer his services. all in all, an excellent dining experience. cheers and good luck to One Sixty Parking: turn at the new intersection, to access the underground, loads of free parking. no problem at all.
My 1st time at this new restaurant tonight I don t usually write reviews but I was so impressed I had too !!! The food was amazing perfectly cooked and tons of flavor ! The service and overall vibe was great ! Nice and dark and cozy ! Roman behind the bar suggested the Beef Cheek and it was honestly one of the best dishes I ve had all year!!! I will be going there again this wknd but this time I ll bring friends that s how good it is :)
Great place! Nice selection of wine, all the food was delicious. Lovely atmosphere and great service. We will definitely be back. So happy to have a place like this in Port Moody!
Amazing local BC wine selection. Great food and atmosphere (including the service)
Great food, good prices, friendly staff. They have a fantastic Tuesday night date menu for $58 for two!!. Menu itself is always a little different each time I go which is great! Highly recommend this place.
Not good at all. Staff is also very rude. Already very good cafes & bar in port moody so Not gonna go again at this place.
A very enjoyable experience! Very welcoming and inviting, service was great, food was fabulous, and lovely atmosphere. Above and beyond, highly recommend. :)
Underwhelming experience here with overpriced wine, which would be fine if they served knockout wines, which they werent. The vibe here definitely is not wine bar with all their ads pushing dinner and brunch options and not to mention the very loud music. I was legitimately excited to try this place as I used to love going to Salt wine bar in Gastown and was happy to have something nice closer to home, unfortunately this place is trying to be too many things, and its not a wine bar, just a restaurant with loud music.
Tried the One Sixty on Tuesday night, it was,a woundfull experience. Im so great full to have a better quality restaurant in Port Moody
Delicious! Cant wait to go again
As a few others have said, the prices make this not as good as it could be. The wines is overpriced and some of the food options, like the Charcuterie boards, cost well more than one would expect. Additionally the staff, when you even get the Charcuterie board, are not sure what are the cheeses on the board. They do have a nice atmosphere and service, and it is a nice date spot, but the prices are quite high considering the area and type of food/drink served.
I had an amazing experience, the food was mouth watering. I cant decide if I like the Beef Cheeks, the mushroom toast or the scallops the best. I guess Ill have to go back and figure it out.
