Sing Lobster imports Lobster from a family supplier in Nova Scotia and we provide it locally to restaurants and the public.
We were so curious to try this place for such a long time. Unfortunately, can’t say I would recommend it and definitely not for the price. Very Basic and no distinct flavor, cold bun and chips from a bag.
It was a rainy and cold day, and I was shivering while eating at an outdoor table, but it was still delicious. Since there wasn't much seasoning, I could taste the lobster's flavor even more.
A great little spot tucked away in Port Moody. This place has lobster rolls for lobster lovers! Huge roll where the bread is a star on its own, perfect bite and perfectly grilled. The lobster is robust and dressed very simply so that it stands on its own! I also got the chowder to try and it had huge chunks of lobster along with veggies, shrimp and more! Great spot for lunch or to grab something on the way to the breweries for sure!
I was craving lobster at 10 am and saw this place open. My husband and I went to try it to fulfill my pregnancy cravings and oh my goodness, this was just amazing. The flavour, texture and freshness of the roll was insane. I highly recommend this place, just the vibe outside on a sunny day is so nice. It is also so reasonably priced for the quantity you get.
A bit of a hidden gem as it's tucked away in an industrial lot on Murray Street, a few blocks east of the breweries. The seafood is fresh, and they've expanded a lot on their takeout items as well as hours of operation for the summer. The staff are incredibly friendly. Outdoor seating area is dog friendly. Would highly recommend!
A singing lobster?? I have been meaning to try out this place for a while now but conflicting schedule cause they only open from Friday to Sunday and a bit of distance for me. (Actually came by here one time before but they closed early). This place is located in a building at an industrial area alongside with many other little restaurants and food trucks. There are also a few family parks and the Port Moody museum steps away, great little place for a family day unless you are a single bird like me lol. Finally got a little bit of free time during the weekend and managed to eased my way to this place. There were about a dozen of customers enjoying the food outside on tables and chairs provided. Here were the food I ordered; 1. Seafood chowder. Homemade style, very tasty with a generous amount of seafood. 2. Hot buttered lobster roll. The bun was soft yet with a warm light crisp, buttery taste and texture (very nice!). The lobster chunks were nice too but maybe a little less on the dressing so not so watery, other than that, quite satisfying. 3. Lobster with Thai coconut curry sauce on rice. Pretty flavourful, the sauce was distinct and fair amount of lobster meat. Overall, this is a very causal little place. Almost like a little concession place for take outs with a few tables and chairs. Besides the hot food, they do sell a variety of frozen seafood to go too. The best way to describe the staffs and service would be as if they were you next door neighbours, yes that kind of vibe (no not that ahole neighbours some may have, but the homey ones lol). As for the food, everything was quite tasty and satisfying, at least to me it’s worth the drive out this way to give it a try. Sing me another lobster song next time…
If licking my fingers after eating is wrong, I don’t want to be right. The hot buttered lobster rolls are our weekend treat lunch and they’re so good we keep coming back. My husband is also a fan of the lobster grilled cheese sandwich. They are loaded with amazing, flavourful lobster and worth every cent. Take it to the park, enjoy at their seating area, or drive home and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed.
What a delightful find in Port Moody's brewery row. Sing Lobster has some delicious seafood bites and offers fresh and frozen seafood to take away as well. A small outside seating area, but worth the visit. Friendly staff, I recommend.
Im from the East Coast and Ive been looking for a good lobster supplier for a long time. My friend from Cape Breton recommended this place so I tried it. I bought 14 lobsters for a birthday dinner and cooked them myself. The price was better than anywhere else I looked and the girl that served me was fantastic. I will definitely be back.
A local gem Their food is absolutely delicious! Their Thai curry is the best I ve had!! Friendly service too We just love this place!!
Very fresh lobster!! excellent chowder too
I came across The Lobster Guy because I was searching for Lobster Mac and Cheese, but unfortunately, they discontinued it. So my wife and I had the Lobster Chowder for $8.50 and the Lobster Coconut Curry for $13.50. The portions are served in small 12oz cups. They definitely couldnt be any smaller without the customers left feeling ripped off :-( My Lobster Coconut Curry was delicious. But due to the size, its more of an expensive snack than an actual meal. And I generally dont go out for snacks. So I cant imagine being a repeat customer for this item :-( The Lobster Chowder for the wife, was very watery and soup like. So if you are dreaming of a thicker chowder then like her you will be disappointed. Never the less, she said it was okay. All in all, I so wanted this to be our new goto place, but as-is its not really a meal :-( Hopefully this review might help to influence / tweak things in the right direction :-)
The lobster roll was very fresh and the grill cheese was delicious as well. Would 100% recommend this.
The lobster roll and jumbo cocktail shot are so fresh and yummy. And the chowder is strongly recommended
Flavour was ok, but I think there was a very small portion of lobster on the lobster rolls for the $46 for 2 rolls
One of my favourite Port Moody hidden gems to pick up a meal to eat in the park! I haven t had a bad dish here yet - even bought a live crab home to boil ourselves last time and they offered to let me choose which crab I wanted:)
The best lobster roll Ive ever had!! It beats San Franciscos rolls 1000 times over. Such a hidden gem of a place.
Worth every bite
Amazing hidden gem of a place - lobster rolls are probably the best Ive had and overflowing with lobster unlike most places. The lobster dip is also great. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Will be back often!
The lobster is really fresh!!! Lobster Gilled Cheese is amazing!
The best lobster roll ever! It s so fresh! Highly recommend lobster grilled cheese and jumbo prawn shot too!
Super fresh! Delicious I ve traveled an hour just to visit this place and its worth it
Came here from the interior called the day before asking if they are forsure open till 5 and they said yes and when I got there they were closing up at 4:30
Hidden gem near Rocky Point Park. Bigportions, delicious food, fresh lobster. We ordered the seafood chowder, lobster roll, coconut curry and lobster quesadilla, and I especially liked the curry. Lots of flavour and huge pieces of lobster. Priced are surprisingly decent as well. Highly recommend it!
This place is a hidden gem! This family owned business has the most amazing customer service and the food is beyond five star. Goes amazing with loco breweries
Place is great!!! Tried the soup, the roll. Really good quality. Lobster for the win,!! Keep up the good job.
Sorry...have purchased many frozen lobster tails only for them to turn out mushy. I know how to cook them. Ill b visiting the facility to express my disappointment politely Thank you Fabian...I appreciate yr honesty...Ill b in touch. Update on lobster tails. Fabian and Dawson were more than kind and accommodating for lobster tail options. Ty and happy valentines day!
Good food, good service. What more can one ask for?
Fantastic good sized lobster rolls!!
Absolutely amazing! Cant wait to go back
I ordered the lobster curry - where is the lobster?
Excellent customer service! So happy to find this place! Picked up lobster for Birthday dinner. Highly recommend!
Previously had the lobster roll here previous which was already on point. Very comparable to the lobster rolls that I had in Boston and Halifax. Today I had the lobster grilled cheese, equally as good, lumps of lobster cooked well. I would recommended to anyone who likes lobster Great Customer Service as well. Thanks
Fresh and delicious! The staff were super friendly and the owners are great! Can t wait to have a big lobster feast.
Great food!
Best lobster rolls in the world! You heard it hear first folks Had them many times and also the seafood chowder is superb
Found this place on Tiktok. Definitely held up to the hype. Good service, great food. Lots of lobster and little filling. Will definitely be back
Very delicious! Highly recommend their lobster roll!
Freh ingredients, obviously. Tasty dishes to go. Conveniently close to Rocky Point Park for a picnic.
Quesadilla was nice. Simple yet tasty. But why so stingy on the sauce?
If you ve never had a lobster roll, this is THE place to go! Their namesake hot buttered lobster roll is absolutely fantastic, not to mentioned super well priced. There are also a bunch of other tasty dishes on the menu that would please any critic. Minimal chill location but that s exactly what it needs to be. You can munch and browse the always fresh seafood menu for sustainable (and fairly priced) items. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a good bite to eat!! :)
Delicious!
Great shop with friendly staff. Were so glad we found this hidden gem. The lobster roll is bang on and the lobster coconut curry is great. Im excited to buy from their store next time we visit.
I ordered their popular item off the menu, the lobster roll. The lobster is so fresh and the bread roll is also crunchy and buttery!
Everything is delicious.
Best lobster I have had in my life! Juicy, delicious and all the things above. The quesadillas was my fav!! Will be back
Great experience and food was delicious
Absolutely the best lobster shop in town. The lobster quesadilla is my favourite. Served warm and gooey and had plenty of lobster inside! The people who work there are so nice too! Definitely coming back
Just finished my lobster roll. Had to come here to brag about them. Holy moly that was freaking good . Also tried the coconut lobster curry. I want that for supper now.
Fresh seafood and food made fresh right in front of you. Expect a line but great customer service and food worth the wait.
The lobster roll was great a few stand outs was no filler like Salty s Shack, ALL LOBSTER here. I would suggest skipping the lettuce, soak the roll with more butter and lobster charge more. The grilled cheese was lovely too, I suggest an older aged cheddar charge more real foodies will pay. Thank you for a great lunch.
So happy to discover this hidden gem in Port Moody. Love their lobster rolls, grilled cheese sandwiches and lobster corn chowder. Taste amazing!
