Below average food.. empty place on weekends..

I used delivery and unlike others deliveries from other restaurants, this order was still crispy. 5/5 Vegetarian options: I ordered the baked potato, fries and gravy, onion rings and cheese bread. All was superb except the cheese bread is not conducive for delivery.

Weve only ordered take out but, the Chicken parm with baked spaghetti is our absolute favorite! The house salad dressing makes salad worth eating!

It was very quiet inside we were the only table. Food was very good.. and there was a lot of takeout and delivery happening while we were there.

food is exceptional but a few issues. one waiter so your waiting slot of any kind of service i blame management for that not the waiter. another table got up and grabbed silverware and napkins from another table waiting too long. the menu they use is the same for take out and delivery. it says $7.00 off if you order a second pizza. so i asked about it. you only get that discount if your takeout/delivery if you are dining in you pay full price for both. i said you should maybe correct the menu he said they are making new menus but a month before i ate there there was an issue with the menu cant remember what it was but he made the same statement i say thats a lie. anyways i love the food but probably wont be going back because of the service and the lies in the menu. when u order something that is on a menu but then get corrected that the menu isnt correct more than once then oviously they dont care either

This is my spot! Any time I want a quiet dinner and don t wanna cook. My fave is the chicken slouvaki, their Greek salad is the best ever. Some red twinge to the sauce! Sooooo good! And cheesy breadsticks. They re the type of people to remember your order!

Straightforward spot for pizza. Amazing taste, simple, and reasonable prices great value. I really enjoyed the Greek pizza. Highly recommend this neighbourhood gem if you are itching for a quick bite.

Overpriced for what it is, only with uber promos and bogo promo combined is this tolerable. 26$ for a pasta? Bar food quality? No thx.

Nice looking place when you get in, service was good and friendly. The steak tasted like my freezer smells, guessing they are underwater and cant afford good cuts. Unfortunate but true.

I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce from this place on UberEats and it blew my mind. It s like my Italian grandma made me my favourite pasta, real childhood vibes stuff. I devoured it and enjoyed every bit.

My husband and I made the trek out here from Cloverdale. I had grown up going to the Cloverdale location pretty much my entire life and my husband and I went on dates there when we were first together and until it closed. We found out this location was still open and decided we had to go. Im so glad we did the pizza was perfect, it tasted the exact same! Best pizza around. I was so happy it was such a great blast from the past. We will definitely go again!

Ordered the steak dinner. The veg that comes with the meal couldve been prepared by my 4yr old kid. The most bland and basic veg next to plain raw veg Ive ever had. Absolutely no effort put in to them. I even got up charged for getting double veg instead of a potato. What a mistake. As for the steak, I wouldnt feed that steak to my dog. Just a business that doesnt care at all.

We went there for supper today and I have rated the experience as 5 star : the food was great, price was great (not overpriced like the trendy restaurants and the server called Aria was so-o-o friendly and attentive to detail

We just had the golphis special pizza and we said its the best pizza that we have had in a long time, have ordered from me n Eds and keep sending it back. What a difference we love the thin crust, sauce and all the toppings, koodos to the cook

Aria is the BEST waiter/host I have ever met. He made you feel like Norm walking into Cheers.Our food was amazing... please, please, check out the calamari. Very rarely do I like how it is cooked but I keep my quest alive trying to find a good one. I FOUND IT! They bread it themselves!!! Say what!!! Unheard of now a days. SOOOO good. Also had Ribs with spaghetti and BBQ chicken pizza, all very good and the salad was cold and crisp. This was our first time there and will deffinataly be back!!

Great pizza.

I ordered the chicken and ribs with baked tortellini as a side. Ribs and salad were all that I could eat. The chicken was over cooked and had a weird taste on first bite. The pasta just tasted bad. Had to eat something else after paying.

Service is great. Could have a local brew on tap. Specialty pizzas are good.

So disappointed! This place needs to decide what kind of restaurant it is: steak house, pizza joint, or Mediterranean because it is failing at trying to be all 3. Dont waste your money here. I wasted my birthday dinner on them. The calamari was flavourless, the ribs were dry and overcooked with some weird sauce on them that definitely was not BBQ. Ive never seen a bay leaf stuck to BBQ before. The spaghetti was gross and inedible, not sure what meat they used but it was dry and crumbly and tasted awful as it disintegrated on my tongue, also there was some weird seasoning like cardamom that does not belong in spaghetti. The salad was bagged salad. Everything was overpriced for what it is. The wings were OK. The only good thing was the cheesecake, which wasnt anything special just a typical frozen cake that most restaurants have with a side of canned cherry pie filling to pour over it and runny whipped cream. More like an after thought. I couldnt even finish most of what I ordered it was that bad, and I am not a picky eater. Nothing was cooked or seasoned well. The name is deceiving, they are not a high end steak restaurant, they are an over priced pizza parlor and from reading the other reviews it sounds like they need to stick with pizza and drop all the fancy dishes they are trying to push on their menu and then maybe they will be ok. Not sure how they have been in business so long. Thanks for ruining my birthday and making an already bad day even worse.

Great food and service

The competition is in full bloom. There are many pizza places along St Johns St, Port Moody. My best choice is Golphis Steak & Lobster located at 2409 St Johns St, Port Moody. I appreciate not only their great pizza but also the warm and friendly service. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Golphis

We were excited to see the name of the restaurant with steak and lobster attached to it. We went in, sat down. There was a wide selection of food but decided we would have the most expensive meal in the menu, the Steak and Lobster. Took about 40 minutes for our salads to arrive. Nothing special, I can have better salad from a store bought bag with bottled dressing. Then the oil came, it s supposed to be butter and garlic for the lobster, but it just tasted like kerosene. Then a bowl came with plastic containers for the works in our baked potato. Finally after 50 minutes we got our steak and lobster . Everything on the plate was awful. The veggies were overcooked. The lobster was tough because it is old and it tasted really gross. The steak was dry and no flavour. It s like eating dry rubber. The garlic bread did not even taste like garlic. The sad part is we already waited for sometime and to eat the worst tasting food we ve ever had. We felt so cheated and robbed not just of money because of the lack of quality in the food, but also gave us bad after taste of the food. We had to order sushi a few blocks away to erase it. If we could turn back the time, we would have just skipped that horrific place. So if you are reading this, please stay away from this restaurant as far away as you can. You will be better off eating McDonalds!

Came in with a large party so it was understandably overwhelming for the kitchen, but even still everything took *really* long to come up, even though it was served in small batches, so its not like they were lining things up to arrive at the same time. What a shame! We ve been fans of Golphi s pizza forever but after tonight we are likely done. After buzzing in the driver to the condo, he was unable to locate the unit. Shame they didn t number them... oh wait. He then left. He finally returned awhile later with the ice cold pie. After we called Golphi s we were told we d be receiving a FOUR DOLLAR CREDIT on our next order. It s either incompetence, indifference or both. This is why the big boys are whipping them. What a shame.

Took my mom here tonight for her 70th birthday. She hadnt been in decades but if the service and food tonight is par for the course, it will be decades before our next visit. Understaffing is where I think the bulk of issues stemmed from. One person in the kitchen and one server. There were only three table with people in the dining room but lots of people coming in for take out and delivery orders. So from the staff perspective, it was busy. The service was just slow and lacking. Everything took forever to arrive. Dirty plates werent cleared even when the one server would walk past empty handed. Both myself and mom had steak. Hers was very stringy and mine was cold. Actually everything on my plate was cold except for the baked potato which was the temperature of solar core. Items that were brought to the table also seemed to indicate a restaurant more geared on take out than eating in. All the condiments and potato toppings were in tiny plastic tubs. The napkin on the table was 1-ply and was more decorative than practical. The ambient temperature was probably around 17 or 18 degrees which is too cold to be sitting still. I wont be going back, and if I do decide to give them another shot it will be delivery and Ill still to pasta dishes.

We ordered a Lam Souvlaki over the phone for to go but they didnt make it ready at the pick up time. And then we found a staple on the roasted potato. Its taste was disaster also. Never order again and do not recommend it at all.

Worst pizza delivery around this area. I was surprised how could the food deliver within 17min. After I open the all the containers and i realized thats why it came really fast. All the spaghetti were all swollen just like frozen food. Pizza was very soggy and tastes old. Overall, the foods were all BLEND. Ive had worst experiment for the first time.

Amazing food and service.

The lamb souvlaki was a total rip off. It had dry kebab pieces which didnt taste good at all and two potato slices which felt like wedges from a burger joint. The rice was ok. Salad is good. Not worth paying $19. There are lots of amazing Greek restaurant around. This one was a bad experience.

Fries were burnt out and tasted awful! Excessive use of garlic in Hummus! Sandwich was gross!!! Very disappointing!!!

I have ordered from Golphis/ Port moody since they opened many years ago.Since then, they have stepped it up huge with their renovation and cleanliness in the kitchen and prep area. I would put their fresh ingredients and pizza save number #1. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. If i want real pizza, i call Golphis.

My bros and i went to this restaurant awhile ago and were expecting some lit high-tier food. Instead we got like sum part of the lobsters tail with some car oil tasting butter sauce n it was diSgoUsTAng- wouldnt recommend it, heck golphis, the homies and i drink toilet water

Usually we order in from Golphis but it was a lovely day so we decided to walk up and visit. The dining room is very aesthetically pleasing, as was the bill. Our food was delicious and well presented.

the food was gross and the service is bad. the prices are high and everything we ordered was over cooked. For instance, the 40$ stake... we asked for med rare but it was so thin that it came close to well done. Our calamari was hard and crispy and dry and everything had some cinnamon spice on it .... The man waiting on is was very friendly but he had to find him everytime we needed something .... we wont be coming back anytime soon

I would chose here over the keg. I cant believe im saying that. Sooo good lobster. I will be back

Awesome pasta and fast takeout

Its a hard restaurant to describe. The inside looks classy and clean but their is also a sports-barish theme as well that Im not convinced works. We had a pizza and lasagna, food was good and hot; the presentation could be better though. Prices are reasonable. Bathrooms were clean. The staff were very friendly. Surprisingly we went on a Friday night around 7 and there was only a handful of people dining. The waiter indicated they tend to be busier later at night and do a lot of pick up and take out orders. Parking is a nightmare; there are very few spaces in front of the restaurant. You might have to park on one of the side streets. The restuarant has been around in PoMo for decades so they must be doing something right; I just dont think its anything to shout to heavens about. But for a reasonable meal at reasonable prices, its worth a visit too. Also, as they are one of the few restaurants that are open very late in the Tri Cities, they should be applauded.

Food was good..had great pasta and my steak was done the way I like it...Quiet atmosphere. Not too many other customers and they have Tvs on all the walls so was able to catch the game

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. Was there for a soccer wrap up party so there were 30-40 people there. There were a few things that put us off from returning. One of the parents sent a steak back once as it wasnt cooked correctly. Then the 2nd one came with a large nerve in it. Then our daughter ordered a chicken corden blue but was disappointed when it came and saw that it was the same kind of chicken that we buy from Costco. A prepackaged chicken breast that cost $20. No door on the mens washroom and an underbreath f bomb by one of the waitresses will definitely keep us away.

Was in town for a Hockey tournament. We ordered take out. We ordered kalimari I had the lamb souvlaki. The potatoes tasted dry and old and the rice had frozen vegetables in it so was not the tastiest Greek I have had. The kalimari was tough and so was the lamb. My son did have the baked spaghetti and that was very good. Portions were generous and staff was friendly. Why I am giving a 3 star. But I have had better

The place looked really high class until we got our order. The dipping sauces, dressings, and toppings were piled up together poorly in plastic to go containers. Unimpressed I asked the server why when we were paying over 100 for a lobster steak dinner, was part of our order in plastic to go containers. She said usually they did it in glass but she was the only one working and she wasnt about to go threw the trouble of putting it all in proper containers. This would make sense if it was packed but there was only 1 other customer eating. Our expensive dinner date turned into a to go fast food outing. I was disappointed. I gave 2 stars cause of the look though

Hosted a youth team event. They opened early for us, the pizza was good, the staff was courteous and attentive. It was good.

Drinks werent made correctly, fish and chips looked like they were store bought and previously frozen. The meat from the lamb & chicken souvlaki was very tough and the potatoes were fried wedges instead of the traditional baked potato. Would not go back here again.

Ordered chicken strips and fries with two other meals for delivery. Got no fries with my strips, even though it says Chicken Strips + FF on my receipt. Called back and was told Id be given A DOLLAR discount on an order of fries that would take an hour to be delivered. Horrible customer service.

I have ordered pizza from Randy for many, many years. I still order the Randy Special which is everything but fish. My Poker crew once a month are so happy that we are ordering from Golphis in Port Moody. There is a Golphis in New Westminster but I think it is a different organization so I cannot comment on that pizza place. Randy rocks and his staff are all thumbs up.

We had to come here for a Team dinner. Pizza was not very good 5 out of 10. The lasagna seemed filling, probably due to being white flour. Anyhow, nothing really exciting about this place. They try hard to ensure the experience is good, but I dont plan on coming back.

We ordered 5 dishes, and all were not good. All the pasta was bland, the chicken slovaki was way over priced and terrible. There were eye lashes in my food. Nothing taste good, everyone who ate it had to cover it in salt and pepper to make it ok.

PIZZA IS AWESOME. We just order pizza from Golphis. Its always excellent and its consistent. The Golphis house special pizza is awesome! Great to support the locally owned and operated businesses in Port Moody as well.

One of the best Pizzas in the lower mainland. If you like Deep Cove Pizza in North Van, then youll love these guys too.

Looks a tad shabby from the outside, but the inside is amazing! Definitely my favorite place for pizza.... The for Id cooked fresh too! Though that means youll have to wait a bit
