We both had their version of eggs benny, and it was delicious.

The Country Fork never disappoints. Michael, Kendal, and Monty are wonderful hosts.

I came to this restaurant for an event and LOVED the food. I was super excited at the event to hear they offer catering (my wedding is 10 months away). The owner was great and seemed excited to work with me and shared their phone number and email address with me. I emailed right away with no response so a week later I called in. They said the email went to spam and that they unflagged it so it wouldnt again. I was ready to book and pay my deposit while also setting up a tasting in November to finalize our plates. They told me to send them an email of exactly what I want and they will send me a contract. One week later and no contract or follow up. I understand businesses being busy (I own two) but a week is a long time to pass by with no follow up. So, at the week mark I called in and the person who answered said she was going to get the owner judt to report back she will call you when she has time.... maybe this afternoon but didnt take my name or number or call me back. Im really disappointed because I was really excited to finally find a caterer whos food I loved but now with this service, Im not sure I will even proceed..

I ordered two breakfast meals with two eggs and with bacon the food was ok but my eggs were overcooked and I asked for over easy I like my eggs yogi

Great spot for lunch. I had a meatloaf sandwich with mushroom soup, my wife had a turkey with Bree sandwich with mushroom soup. Both meals were excellent, we gladly recommend this restaurant if your looking for a great place to eat. We will go back.

We booked reservations at this restaurant for a bachelorette party weeks ago and heard great reviews about this place and we were really excited to try it. Our reservations were for 1030 am and we were running behind and we showed up at 1047. The woman who was working told us they have a 15 minute grace period and we were 2 minutes past that grace period and the woman said our reservations were taken away and they didn t have room for us. There was a long empty table inside the restaurant at this time. They were extremely rude to us and the bride after we all travelled from far distances for this bachelorette. She told us there was no contact info to get ahold of us when we gave them our phone number when we booked our reservation. Extremely disappointed with this place .

The food in this place is made with love. I would eat there seven days a I week if I lived in the area. Great atmosphere and service too. Thank you for existing!

Small town feel in all the good and bad ways. Staff is amazing and remember regulars. Food is great and worth what you pay. Reasonably priced place to eat with friendly staff. Sometimes there are sweet treats in the showcase. There are always frozen meals available for sale, to take home with you. Biscuits and gravy for the win today! Sunday 1 hour before closing. Best meal Ive had here and now my FAVORITE MEXICAN OMELET & hubby had Eggs Benny and said was really good. The OMELET was so good I was totally surprised. Even though I just ate it over an hour ago, I can still remember how light and flavorful it was-- no heat just flavor. Super super cute restaurant!! Looks like it used tk be a church but very nicely renovated inside. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was awesome!! They also have home decor on the walls with prices on them you could purchase...thank you!

Great place for breakfast

We stayed overnight in Turkey Point and found this place on our map for breakfast and we are so glad we came across it. They had amazing breakfast options and their lunch menu looked delicious too. My husband had the Banana split breakfast and I had the classic two eggs, toast, hash and bacon. The food and service was excellent and the patio was lovely.

I came here because of great reviews. How come this place could have a 4.7 rating? The service was good and fast. The atmosphere is nice and the place has a huge potential. But, the food is simply terrible. We were there for lunch, the kids pizza was a shame in size and in quality. The soup was too salty and the beef was simply not eatable. Maybe they are way better for breakfast, but for lunch would avoid this place.

Coffees were cold. Hash browns were terrible, one plate hard as bullets and other undergone. Ceiling fan making noise. No washroom sign. Out of gravy for original choice. No music and almost empty. First and last visit.

We first discovered this breakfast gem that is Country Fork a few years ago, and since then, its been the breakfast place against which weve measured all others. Being within an hours drive of the Port Rowan area, we simply had to go there again, hoping that it would be as good as we remembered it. It was! From the servers welcoming call out upon our arrival that we could find ourselves a spot (the sign there says Please Wait to be Seated) everything was wonderful. Good, hot coffee, with the server generously topping up the creamers in our bowl, and the eggs, meats, and potatoes; all of it was every bit as excellent as we remembered it, and the seasonings were still spot-on in every way. Even the pancakes were light and fluffy, somehow managing to avoid the dryness that is the only, nearly-inevitable, downside of Pancake. A refreshing small-town feel wrapped it all up most wonderfully. If were ever out in the area again, well be sure to come by!

The Country Fork.....weve been going there ~ 3 - 4 x per year for some time. Kendall and Michael never fail to offer up unique and amazing dishes and the ones which stay on the menu are there for a reason: always good, always plentiful and reasonably priced. Having said that, dont imagine $2.99 eats specials. Just no; they are waaay too good for that but....value is great. Son Monty is a great young fellow and knows his stuff. Mom and dad have trained him well. Michael is mostly in the kitch while Kendal does baking and is the people person. They make a good team. Re pricing: one example is the steak sandwich which does not seem to have increased price for a couple of years at least....Its $16.99 and includes a choice of side. Todays sides were: Caesar salad (it was sooo good), broccoli salad and roasted red pepper soup. The soup was awesome....wish I had brought some home. Kendall makes amazing desserts. They have a freezer with take-home assortments of single-serving meals and soups. My suggestion: Go there and have something awesome. Parking: Parking seems scant but it is quite adequate. Wheelchair accessibility: I do believe anyone with a helper can access the restaurant.

Went to to my favourite brunch spot for my birthday. Sorry to have to write a negative review for a place I used to love. I have also previously recommended this place as a hidden gem to friends, family, neighbors and guests at our local vacation rental. The Country Fork can get busy so I asked my husband to call ahead to see if we could reserve a table for my birthday. Upon arrival the waitress told me that we were late (10 mins) and she had to give our table away, but that another one should be available soon. We waited maybe 5 mins in the lobby and another staff member brought us in. We then noticed that there were several tables available, nobody had left and nobody else had been waiting. The waitress apparently just felt the need to scold us for not arriving on time even though there were empty tables. I was so upset that we decided to leave and it actually made me really sad because I was so looking forward to birthday brunch with my family. It just felt like we were not wanted there. Kinda ruined my whole day actually. We went down the road to Uncles and had a good breakfast there instead. It will probably take some time before we decide to return and try again at the Country Fork, but if they can redeem themselves I will update this review. Parking: Lot is always full. We always have to park down the street. There is usually lots of street parking available though.

You have to eat here!! We went in for the beef wellington, and were blown away by this little restaurant! The decor is stunning, the staff were fantastic, and the food was amazing! We also picked up some sweet snacks for the road, and I can honestly say, I have never had a better brownie! If you get the chance to check this place out, do it!!!

We had a few hours just driving around and planned to eat in Port Rowan. Looked at anther place, which was fine, but Country Fork had quite a few cars in parking lot....LOCALS. They know. Had good steak sandwich, wife had Reuben, and took half home. Good FRESH salads. Would definitely go back. You can tell they have support from the area. A definite good place to eat. It has awesome food no complaints there its just that you cant walk in and get a seat most of the time.Sometimes they make reservations sometimes they dont and when youre hungry and you want breakfast and everybodys has a reservation but you dont and you cant get breakfast and you have to go somewhere else its happened quite a bit this summer and I live close by and I like to support our local businesses and the local businesses support the local people of their town and not forget that we carry them in the winter time.

Delicious, if I could give 10 star I would. My boyfriend and I shared a Cuban pork panini and a Reuben panini. Both were the best ever. Loved he bread, they should sell it. My butter tart was also he best ever. We will return.

Anytime my family and I go to our trailer I will be trying to make a visit to Country fork every Sunday morning. Want to make Country Fork part of our family tradition each weekend we are away from the city hustle and bustle. You should visit!

WOW!! Great little place to eat! The staff was friendly, the food was amazing and portion sizes were great! The desserts are very tasty also! The prices are also very good! Very clean place and they sell country items as well (kitchen and home decorations). We will definitely be back every time we come camping!

Love the breakfast! The only thing Id change is that they get a couple booster seats or another highchair. Theres only 1 and its always in use when we go which makes it very tough to sit and eat with a baby or toddler

Had dinner here yesterday with my family. Great service!! Food took a little longer than I expected, why? It was very obvious it was FRESH since it didnt take 10 minutes like most places these days. Fresh and delicious, and would come back 100%. Great job Country Fork! Update one year later. Not only did we have a great dinner, we also purchased some frozen pre-made dinners and soup. The Chicken Rice Soup was perfect, which for me is rare since most places over salt their food. All around a great restaurant. Thank God the Lock down is over...... (for now).

Nice little home feel style to the atmosphere. Everyone was great, reasonable pricing & super friendly service. Was hoping to have the biscuits & gravy the morning we went for breakfast, but unfortunately they were out of sausage gravy, no big deal, had the eggs Benny instead & although wasnt what I originally chose, it was still top notch! Not only was mine delicious, but our whole parties breakfast was great. Will definitely be making this place one of my regular places to dine. Definitely looking forward to lunch & dinner menus!

Charming surprise. On a Saturday morning ride I smelled bacon as we were passing through Port Rowan. We pulled in and made our way in. Immediate contact was made and we were seated quickly. Inside or outside seating was offered. Interesting historic feel and warm smiles made us feel welcome. Service was prompt and courteous. Many usual possibilities were available on the menu. We ordered and did not wait long for the food. Everything was cooked to a turn and exactly as specified. (they even have real toilet paper for you not the thin stuff that makes feathers) Going by our experience I highly suggest eating here for breakfast.

Service was horrible ,took almost an hour to get our food, when ask server would our food be coming soon, was told it would be up soon that it had only been 26 min,as a server I know it shouldnt have taken that long, I believe our order was forgotten, as it came out one plate at a time ,was not offered refills of coffee,or anything else had to ask for more coffee, would not recommend this place and will never go back

This is one of the best restaurants weve ever been too. Friendly family that owns it, very clean and they sell awesome little nicknacks. They serve big portions of delicious food. We came yesterday for breakfast and loved it so much we came back today to try their lunch menu, we were not disappointed. We highly recommend this family restaurant to anyone of any age. While I think the experimentation with flavours here is a neat concept, theres only a few dishes that I found good. The Grilled Cheese is probably the best thing there, and the service is amazing! But, the flavours dont really match. However if you like peppers in your Mac & Cheese, go ahead! Its still a good place to eat! I just didnt find it appealing, but you might! Can get crowded around lunch time. 1100-1300

Out for a Sunday drive, my wife & I had lunchtime breakfast meals at the Country Fork in Port Rowan. Generally okay but we both found the home fries a little soggy & temperature varied from warm to cool, certainly not hot. Often had to use the fork like a spoon to pick them off the plate. They are pre-cooked potatoes likely heated on a griddle. Next time I would ask them to drop them from the griddle into the fryer for a minute or two to crisp & heat them throughout. Nice atmosphere, clean & good service. Nice odds & ends items for sale for reasonable price, bought a couple. Would likely try them again if in the area with changes to the home fries if we had them again.

Shared the turkey club with sides of potato soup, along with a generous mug of good coffee and homemade bars to go. Like all of my previous visits, the food was fresh and fantastic. Service was prompt and friendly and the price point matched the quality of food and service.

The breakfast menu was fantastic, multiple options that caught the diners intrest; really something for everyone. Food was hot and served quickly, plus the service was attentive and polite. The extra snacks and home decor were well priced and added to the home made and welcoming vibe.

My husband recently went for breakfast (July 28/19) and this was our second time dining here. The atmosphere is airy and open, and its a nice bonus that there are cute items for sale from local artisans, as well as a mercantile. The food is really great as well, but our most recent visit was disappointing. I ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes which were delicious at first, but about 1/2 way through they started to taste like grilled onions and I also found a piece of what I thought was onion (was a mushroom). I politely said something to the server, and she went to the kitchen to investigate. The kitchen then gas-lighted the situation by saying that the pancakes *werent* cooked on the same surface as the pancakes - well, my taste buds dont fool me, and the small grilled mushroom also says otherwise. After that, I lost my appetite. :( The server took half off of the pancakes, which wasnt necessary but appreciated. I wasnt looking for a free meal or a discount - in fact I ended up buying a bunch of items from the mercantile - and complimented the creator of the beautiful handmade greeting cards that were for sale. But, after we left I didnt feel appreciated after what the kitchen claim. Having worked in the restaurant industry before, I would never tell the customer they were wrong. Ill likely go back (hence 3 stars), but hope that if a customer has this problem again in the future that the customer doesnt get the gas light treatment like I did. :(

Absolutely must eat here. No doubt the location that tourist hope to stumble upon. A Norfolk County gem. I highly recommend everything on the menus. You truely cannot go wrong here. The Pesto Chicken Panini with Cauliflower Soup is officially the most flavour forward lunch I have ever had. Anywhere. Very reasonable pricing. Family atmosphere with great staff. Rustic/country decor. Home style food with outrageous flavour and humbling quantity. An experience that lasts longer than the meal. I have a large appetite and come from generations of incredible cooks. Country Fork is the place where youll find all the locals and for good reason. Highly recommended.

The Country Fork is absolutely amazing!! We have eaten there many times and the food is always delicious with very unique flavours and tastes. The cost is very reasonable. Servers are always so nice and friendly. Love the casual atmosphere We also had the Country Fork cater for our wedding and I can t say enough about them!! The presentation was absolutely beautiful and they brought everything needed to make the tables look awesome. They also came in the morning to set up everything and then came back with plenty of time to prep food and easily worked around everything else going on. The food was AMAZING!!! They are super flexible and will basically make whatever you want. Everything was so delicious. Fresh veggies, amazing cuts of meat and delicious/creative versions of potatoes and rice. The staff that served at our wedding was outstanding. They were all so friendly and easygoing. But had great attention to detail and impeccable service skills. Definitely consider the Country Fork for your small or large events or just a nice meal! Highly recommend!!

Had Lunch today with a friend . Food was delish and service was great. First time here. I have to say we were there for ever catching up and the chairs were very comfy for our long sit. My friend had Taco Soup, Hot Cashew salad. Mmmm good. I had The Adult Grilled Cheese with brie, preserves and bacon with a side of baby potatoeswith a creamy garlic sauce, so yummy. Blonde brownie with blueberries for dessert.

Our 60th Anniversary was catered by the Fork. We were delighted with all aspects of the celebration. The food was delicious with many extras that made the day so pleasant. They even managed to coordinate our original cake topping into the delightful cake. We recommend The Fork for any special day the you are planning.
