They catered our Christmas party and ran out of food before almost half of the people ate. They acted like the first people took too much even though they only had one tray of each item for over 40 people - several of whom did not show up so we paid and estimated for more people than who came. They had their dog running around the kitchen. The food we got was decent. I would never ever recommend getting them to cater any event:

Funky Fresh Cafe & Bistro is an absolute gem! The cozy atmosphere immediately makes you feel right at home, whether you’re there to grab a quick coffee or enjoy a leisurely meal. The staff is incredibly friendly, always greeting you with a smile and making sure you’re well taken care of. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A great little Bistro with awesome food. Just had lunch there with my husband and a friend. All of us agreed, our food was delicious! Two had the lunch wrap special, came with soup or salad, we all had different and all were delicious. I asked for gluten free bread for my burger and it was very good! Definitely worth trying, we will go back next time we’re in town. 😊
Finally got to check this place out. The potato bacon soup was delish and very flavorful and the dirty chai was so good. Definitely one of Prince Alberts hidden gems.
This adorable little restaurant in downtown P.A. is the bee's knees! Decided to have myself a bison bacon cheddar burger which I'm so happy can be served on yummy multigrain gluten-free bread for those of us who are gluten-challenged. And, being gluten-challenged, I blurted out "salad!" when asked what side I wanted, THEN I saw that the abundant choices of soups were mostly gluten free too! But the salad was amazing, because it had sugar peas in it...which imo places don't do nearly enough. So I'll definitely be back to try another GLUTEN FREE meal...this time with some soup 🙂

Delicious food, desserts and Chocolates
Soups were delicious and tasted homemade. The cappuccino and Americano along with the homemade chocolates were scrumptious! Loved the whole vibe of the place.
Food is very basic, bland and nothing special. Had to wait about 40 mins to get a wrap.
Mel and staff provide a unique dining experience, sure to please. Enjoy the finest chocolates in the area, for desert.
Everywhere else I ve tried a bison burger it s dry. Best bison burger I ve ever had. Best soups I ve ever had. Hats off to the lady that runs this place, she s an unbelievably good chef and great to chat with too.

Great atmosphere. Will need to try patio out come summer. Egg salad sandwich was good with fresh bread.
Last two times I ve ordered has been bad. Last time, the milk in my iced coffee was spoiled and chunky. This time, I didn t even receive my sandwich and my hot latte was carbonated? Why is it fizzy? And over $10. That s insane lol I don t understand the good reviews.

Hadnt been to Funky Fresh in a very long time. My loss. Fresh, hot, chicken quesadia - best Ive had in the city, lots of veggies and chicken. Great to hear the owner has been busy. And a raspberry chocolate for a post lunch treat - perfection!

Absolutely LOVE the atmosphere, the food is AMAZING, the prices are RIGHT, and not to mention the owner makes her own chocolate that is declious and ooh soo WORTH IT!!! Highly recommend this place :D

We had burgers (bison cheddar and bacon and chicken cheddar and bacon) they were good. They make their own chocolates going to try them next time

Nice quaint cozy cafe / bistro. My wife and I had a wrap and soup, they were both excellent, portions were perfect. Staff was very friendly and courteous. No complaints. Will definitely go again.

I ordered a chicken burger. The chicken was thin, grey and rubbery and not a very pleasant taste. Almost seemed as if it was boiled. I would take your business elsewhere if you want good quality food. I was skeptical the first few times that I ordered from here and this has solidified my view. Thanks

Home made fabulous items.
The food and service are unmatched. The hand made chocolate is the best chocolate I Hagee ever eaten! The desserts are delicious and not too sweet. The soup is pretty spectacular as well. Nicer unique decor!
Went for their Friday reggae night (which normally I wouldnt call my scene). The restaurant is very cozy, which led to making friends with everyone in attendance. The food was delicious and seemed appropriately prices. The service was great, very attentive. Would definitely recommend going there on Reggae night.

This was a pleasant surprise. The original plan was a restaurant down the street, but it was closing. We enjoyed an amazing meal including fresh bison burgers on gluten free buns. It was the best I have ever eaten. The meal choices were varied and featured both gluten free and regular items. The deserts were varied and numerous. The ones we had were yum, yum good. We will be returning for sure.

Missing multiple items from a delivery order. Called the restaurant to resolve the issue, they promised to call right back, then they closed up for the day instead. It has now been over a week, still no resolution on the issue and they are now screening my calls. On top of the gross unprofessionalism, the items I ordered were pathetically small portions for a ridiculous amount of money. $15 for a quesadilla the size of a small appetizer, with no side. Are you kidding me? Absolute rip-off. Worst experience ive ever had in Prince Albert. Do not bring your business here.
