My boyfriend and I got two smoothies, and they used old milk. The drink settled and you could obviously see the milk was curdled as it seperated from the rest. Absolutely disgusting and a waste of money. Health code violation.

The food was great. I had the turkey on white..the bread was so fresh..my sister had tge toasted BLT on brown. It was loaded with bacon. So good..Tge puffed whear was the best.

Philly Cheese Steak Pannini doesnt contain any Steak. Just slices of pre-packaged Roast Beef. Same with the Turkey Pannini, slices of pre-packaged Turkey. Food

Unfortunately have to update my review for dr javas. Since the ownership has changed the cafes quality of food and service has dropped massively and is not nearly the same cafe that it used to be. Very sad

Lovely place

Dr.javas, you have good food but the service could be better.. almost every time I get the same thing. Bagelini with avocado sauce, today was one of those days. Forgot my sauce and didn t even give me napkins I had to ask for some. The food was good but didn t put that much meat on it, just one thin slice of turkey. Just a bit disappointing, as it happens a lot.

They have one of the best Chai Tea Latte and breakfast in the town. Quick, efficient and good staff.

Nice place and good coffee

Not sure whats happened here, but the quality has gone way down. Sad we wont be coming here anymore when we always looked forward to coming here on our way through.

We were disappointed in the wrap, panini, soup and cinnamon bun we ordered. The food did not have the same ingredients that the menu described. The soup did not at all taste appealing. First bite of the cinnamon but was literally a mouth full of cinnamon spice. Also the website has much cheaper prices compared to the menu at the store. We used to enjoy Dr Javas but there has clearly been changes in the store and quality of food. We like to support local businesses but we will never go back to dr javas again. If I could rate this zero stars I would.

My husband and I went in today and had a poor experience overall. His coffee tasted weirdly spiced (almost like body odor) when he didnt get any flavouring at all, my frappe was bland and missing the whipped topping. The mini cheesecakes we had were wet in the middle. As we were sitting there we looked to the side and saw spoons sitting in a container of very dirty water. At that point we just left and threw away the drinks. On top of that, the prices are higher in store than they are online. Definitely gone downhill since the last time we went there.

Chicken soup was fake and didnt look like real chicken or cheap chicken out of a can and was charged $7. Horrible slow service. Was served a wet coffee mug like it was just rinsed. Never again. This used to be a go-to place but not even on our radar anymore.

En-route to Waskesiu, I stopped at Dr. Javas for lunch. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak panini and a cinnamon twist fog, both of which were delicious. Service was also very good. Staff were courteous and professional, and the turnaround on my order was fast. I look forward to visiting this café again in the future and would absolutely recommend it.

This place has an amazing amount of potential! Its extraordinarily cute and the food presentation was great! But! If Im staying in to have my coffee it would be great to have it in a mug rather than a to go cup. Also, they have an amazing centerpiece because theyre roaster is absolutely beautiful! But there are mops and cleaning supplies hidden behind it. They have a cute little seating area that looks towards the roaster but why would I want to sit there and stare at cleaning supplies? Theres also a jolly jumper type thing right at the feont entrance... Im not really sure what thats about but it doesnt belong at a coffee shop. The amount of the things on the menu was also a little overwhelming! I appreciate them having a large menu so people have a large variety to choose from, but it also makes it a little overwhelming. Especially since all of the flavors that you can choose from for the Italian sodas, coffee shops, or anything else is just on construction paper at the front counter rather than on the menu. This makes it hard to find what you were looking for! Again, food was amazing! And this place has an amazing amount of potential! But to receive a five-star rating I would like to see all the clutter gone! It would make the experience so much better!

August 7/22. I ordered two soup - one beef barley and 1 chicken with rice as well as a wrap. My sister heard me. When the soup arrived we sent one back as we did not get a beef barley. It was taken back to the girl and she was loud stating that I did not order a beef barley. She was loud enough that we and everyone else in the restaurant could hear her. I appreciate the fact that miscommunication happens. I was appalled that she could have been quiet about it. She needs to have more etiquette. I should not have heard her arguing with the guy who brought it out to us. Not appropriate

Ummm...havent been here in a while but did they change hands cuz I remember this place being a heck of a lot cleaner. The muffin and coffee was good but when you walk in looking at the clutter by the roaster and dirty display cases, uncleaned tables (it wasnt busy), dirty wipe marks and splashes on the barriers, makes one wonder what the kitchen looks like

OMG such an amazing fresh brewed coffee Ive ever had. They have BAGELINI which is the best in there you should try it. Its super worth the price. Delicious as it says, you gotta bite the cheese, egg and tomato with the bagel to have the incredible flavor of it. You will remember the taste next time you see this coffee house. This is my first time visiting this coffee shop. Sure Ill come back again. In addition to this, youll get one of the best hospitality service in town. Staffs are so nice and friendly here and everythings perfect .

Fantastic local restaurant with great lunches, drinks, and desserts. Completely addicted to the sun dried tomato wrap.

The latte I got tasted fantastic, but their mini cheesecakes ARE really mini. They do not offer kid sized beverages, so I got a small hot chocolate for my son, and requested it to be not too hot.

Dr. Javas is probably the best independent coffee shop in town. The prices are good, and they have a drive-through. Only ate there once, the lunch was good. I should stop in again.

A friend asked me to pick him up Bagelinis on my way home, if not for that I wouldnt know of this place. Really cute shop, food is great and at a pretty good price. Totally recommend trying the Bagelinis, really good.

My family and I stopped here to do homeschooling and clear some admin tasks due to the fact we re on a year long road trip. The staff were super friendly, our lunch was delish, they ground our beans and the sugar cookies were a perfect treat! Thank you!

Had a bowl of chicken gumbo soup and a chicken bacon ranch panini...it was my first time there and everything was amazing! I washed everything down with a Chai tea latte which exploded with flavour! I will be back and snap some pics!!!

Loved the pumpkin spice coffee, Cookie, chicken mesquite panini and chicken wild rice soup. A must try restaurant.

Upon entering the restaurant there were signs instructing me to go to the counter where I was asked to show my proof of vaccination and photo I.D. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very clean and followed the Covid-19 standards for eating inside. I was very impressed by the service and the quality of care they give to both their staff and customers to keep them safe. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend this restaurant for the great food and the great Management and Staff.

Bland food. Friendly, but lying and incompetent staff. I ordered a tea and waffles with maple syrup and bacon. The water for the tea was luke warm, and couldn t brew the leaves. This is pretty basic stuff. The waffle was ok at best, but spoilt by the anaemic bacon and fake maple syrup. If you promise maple syrup, don t serve maple flavored syrup - it s fraud. I was hoping for some maple integrity in Canada :-(

Great atmosphere with tons of light. Their coffee is meant to be enjoyed black. Because it is that good. Also the best sandwiches and wraps in PA. The breakfast bagelini is so good.

I spent a couple weeks in P.A. recently and unfortunately only visited Dr. Java in the last couple days of my stay. What I really appreciated was a different taste offering than a typical coffee shop. Jerk, Caribbean, and other savory palettes for you to choose sandwiches and wraps. One morning I had a rhubarb muffin fresh from the oven, still steaming hot, and filled with real fruit. Delicious and filling. Coffee was great too- I ordered an Oat Milk Latte and it was spot on. One small drawback is because they make the food to order, there is a bit of a wait time, but its worth it. I cant see myself ever going back to P.A., but if I do, Ill be stopping by without hesitation.

Im not big on specialty coffees, so I cant comment on that. That being said, Im a huge fan of good food... and they have never let me down on good eats. All the food Ive ever gotten was delicious and extremely well put together (I recommend the wraps). Plus the service is always terrific. Well done Dr. Javas staff !

I was on the same work trip with Cory G who reviewed. Hands down the best place I tried while there. The name made me think I would be getting coffee and a nice pastry, but I left with the best jerk chicken sandwich Ive ever had. Their menu has plenty of things to choose from, Id be happy to go back here.

The food is really great good quality food, baking and drinks . Although I would like to mention the friendlyness of the staff is not up to par in my opinion in fact it is one place I dread having to order. In the drive thru I always feel very rushed and once I get to the window I never get even a smile or a hi sometimes I even feel judged specifically by the older lady with glasses. And another huge problem I have is with the drive thru micro phone . It seems as though they can never hear what is being said to the extent where they will get my order completely wrong and it has happened to several people I have also gone with so it s not just me . They also 100% water down they re sauces one time I got a wrap ( they gave me the wrong wrap ) and veggies and dip the dip was literal water it was so runny and had no taste at all. For theses reasons I no longer go here .

Fun local coffee shop! Venue is a great place to hang out with friends or solo. Menu is nice with many options. The food menu is really good too, always great for a snack or meal! Bagellini is by far my favorite option on the menu and always leaves me wanting another one.

A hot spot! This is a must in PA! Locally opened and operated. Food is hot and fresh, and service is awesome! Very business place but enjoy every visit! Went last Friday with my pups in the drive thru and the employee spotted my two dogs and was quick to offer a little tasty treat for them! Above and beyond service!

Hands down the best place to eat or have coffee in Prince Albert. I enjoy the enironment and often come here when I need to get work done. Their coffee is fantasic and I will often buy beans there to make coffee at home. If you get a chance, try their brie and cranberry quesadilla, unfortunately it is only seasonal.

All 3 times Ive eaten here Ive had the runs. The pastries are very good and decently priced. The food however could be knocked down a dollar or 2 considering how long you have to wait for everything. Seating is an issue at times since people think its okay to come here for hours at a time to work on things.
