Our server was exceptional! Lots of fun and helped make it a wonderful night!

Neverrrr again. Got seated but drinks came out late, server took long to come take orders, didn t even bring our cutlery. All steaks were cooked wrong, got a poutine for a side and it was cold. The server didn t even check on us after our orders came out and didn t come ask about our meals until we were pretty finished. She couldn t even keep our drinks refilled lol. Came for a birthday supper didn t even get the free dessert. Waste of a $300 supper that s for sure !

Have eaten at this restaurant numerous times. Always friendly service and the food has always been good. My last meal was the Buttermilk Chicken. Went for dinner on Sunday night. Our host Brandon was phenomenal, our waiter Josh was friendly and kept our drinks full. This is definitely our go to restaurant in Prince Albert!

Mediocre place to eat. Just dont have high expectations. It wasnt my decision to eat here. I had the burnt ends and they were really overcooked and covered with a lot of unnecessary sauces. I also had the brisket potato skins, which were dry and ruined with pulled beef (should have left the brisket in slices) too much cheese and once again unnecessary sauces. SO approx. 5 hrs after I posted my review and did a survey requested by Montanas they (Lisa) called me offering my next meal on them. It really caught me off guard, it was a kind gesture and I appreciated it. I will return for a redemption meal.

Josh was our waiter and was very friendly, and prompt with orders and drinks! We had nachos with pulled pork which was delicious and wings were half price. Restaurant always looks clean! Thanks again Montanas

Sat there for 20 mins and the waitress looked at us and didn t serve us. We left.

We have been coming to this Montana s ever since it opened. It was really good back then but it seems to have just progressively gotten worse. The last few times, the service has been really bad! Today we went and it was the worst yet so I decided to leave a review. There was a mix up in the beginning where we ended up having two waitresses that were confused who was supposed to be waiting our table. Then the food was very meh, dry burger soggy, floppy fries and no one asked us for drink refills even once. Then when we were done, we probably waiting 20 min for our bill after the manager came out and we had to go through it all with him so he could split it. We re just done with it. We ve been there so many times and it s always disappointing and no one seems to care anymore.

Service was so lackluster, and the food gave me the worst bowel movements Ive ever had. Upon walking in, the host could have basically been a robot greeting us and assigning our seats. Our waiter never checked in on us after we received our food, and not once did he offer a refill on our drinks. It was not a great first-time Montanas experience. August 29th, 7pmish if management even cares.

Overall good place to eat, wish the menu was a little bigger though !

We are regulars! But this time was the first time I absolutely did not like my food or service. It s also the first time that we have sat in the restaurant and not the lounge . I ordered a chicken Caesar salad . The chicken was over done , and the salad had so much of the core of the lettuce that was discoloured, I picked it all out , I told the waitress about it and she asked if I would like to take it to go!! Ummmm no thank you ! When I asked for the bill it took her a very long to bring and it wasn t very busy. It will be a long time before we go back

Awesome place to eat. Sit at the bar without waiting to be seated. Ive tried all the steaks in Prince Albert & Montanas is still #1 as far as I am concerned (I use to be a 5 star chef in my younger years NOW Im a food critic)!!! I give Montanas 6 stars as its also a great place for families too.

Always good food!

Food took a little longer to get but was decent. Service was otherwise good. Food was tasting good.

The hostess told us there were tables cleaned for us but no one walked us over to a clean table so we were confused and couldn t find a clean table and then he told us in a very annoyed way that they weren t ready so we waited. Then we finally got to sit down and we had two different people take our order both in a rush and not interested in us. We order and then i told them about my allergy (i understand the risk i take eating out and that s why i go out of my way to not order fried foods but they still gave me something fried along with my gluten free meal which would flare up my allergy because fried foods come in contact with gluten whether it s gluten free or not) so when i got my food i asked if it was gluten free and maybe they had a separate frier and the waiter confirmed and then came back after i started eating to tell me it actually wasn t gluten free and they made a mistake. The manager later came and apologized and told me the waiter wasn t aware of allergies. After that I barely touched my food but didn t ask for it to be free because they had already done a great job at making us feel like we were inconveniencing them. I work in customer service i understand the pain of working in customer service so i tried to make sure to apologize extra and smile as much as i could to let them know i was understanding of their rush but they still didn t take care of my order :( so i was sad a bit but ya that s my experience. :(

Hmm I ordered a 12 ounce steak medium rare. Cooked to perfection but the meat every mouthful had tough grizzle in it. When Lisa one of the owners found out she contacted me apologized and sent me a gift card for $25.00. Polite on her part to reach out to make things right :) Thanks Lisa

Terrible customer service. My family and I went there for my birthday and my grandmas birthday. My Dad, Aunty, and myself ordered the fish. It was mostly batter and neither one of us enjoyed it. I told the waitress about mine and she asked if I wanted something different. I said a steak. Then my Dad and Aunty told the waitress about theirs. The waitress kept saying she would talk to the manager. She came back with the bills and they added the steak onto my bill and deducted $20.99. The fish was $22.99. So not only did they charge me for both the fish and the steak meal, they didn t even deduct the entire amount of the fish. She comes back again and just removed the fish off the bill but the amount was the same. I ended up just paying and telling her we won t be coming back. She just stayed quiet and gave me a snobby look. No apologies, no nothing. The manager didn t even come see us to discuss the issue. Terrible service.

First terrible experience Ive had there. Terrible steak that was way over medium-rare. Brought me another on was just as over cooked. Rude waitress...table next to us was being racist and loud enough to be heard(even as our waitress was helping them and laughed at one of the comments)

Although I found the atmosphere quite noisy, our server made up for the total experience. I found Ben to be very efficient, friendly, and overly accommodating for my needs, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. My taco chicken bowl was scrumptious and there was plenty enough to fill me up.

The Filipino?? waiter ruined friends grandsons birthday. He seemed annoyed when I asked for water because he forgot. He never came to our table, only to serve the drinks and meals. We wanted to leave right after we all finished eating because of him. When it came time to pay, he got irritated with friend that paid the bill so friend decided not to tip because of his overall demeanor. Theres a bit more but just glad the horrible experience is over. He just chucked the receipt in the shrimp plate. All five of us agreed that the food was DELICIOUS, we shouldve sent a tip to the cooks though!

I always come here for the half price appetizers. Such a great by. With your food discounted like that, always feel free to treat your server! Kapow shrimp, garlic cheese pull-apart, and the Antijitos make an amazing combo. Lots of leftovers for the next day. Service is outstanding and the atmosphere is great!

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered a non alcoholic drink directly from the menu and the waiter tried to ID me then gave me attitude when I said there s no alcohol in that drink and showed her the menu. It s specifically listed as an NA drink. Then after receiving our food she did not check on us even once which really sucked because I really wanted a glass of water. After 30 minutes of sitting and waiting AFTER we were done eating, we were finally able to FLAG HER DOWN just to get boxes and the bill. Waste of money. Also asked for no rib on my NA Cesar and it came with no toppings at all, not a big deal but I was looking forward to that jalapeño popper. Wish the waiters would actually listen to what you want. And maybe bring you a glass of water!!

Our server was very nice, but I was SO disappointed they charged me SIX DOLLARS for canned mushrooms AT A STEAKHOUSE. Fresh mushrooms are a pretty low bar to trip over, Montanas! Parking: Whole mall parking lot.

Normally this place can make a great steak. But, lately its always disappointing.. i asked for medium, was served blue rare. Got Garlic Mushroom. And they were raw and swimming in minced Garlic. Was way to over powering and ruined the dish.

Food is always good and servers are always friendly! Great family restaurant with reasonably priced meals and a cozy feel inside. Always a favorite place to stop in for a sit-down meal when we dont want to be somewhere for 2 hours but want to relax.

I really enjoyed the Southwest Chicken Sandwich. I hit all of the flavour notes as far as I was concerned. It had the right amount of heat just the right touch of sweet to offset it.
