Id been wanting to visit since reading a review in the Toronto Star. Service was not the best...went on a Saturday at noon. There were 6 or 7 tables (its a small place) and only one server who handled all tables and the constant takeout orders. Didnt get my miso soup until my main course arrived. Server never checked on us, and we had to find them to pay our bill. Service only 3 star, but the food was very good.

I haven t even left the restaurant and I needed to leave this review mid meal. Incredibly cosy atmosphere. Delicious authentic flavourful food. You cannot lose with this menu. Warm nourishing meals and incredibly kind and accommodating staff. Bibimbap in the crackling stone bowl is a wonderful in house feature. We will be back again and again and again.

The restaurant is simply fantastic! We came across the restaurant randomly while driving around Picton and it was a highlight of our day! The food is incredible and the service impeccable. The Tteok Ganjang Chicken was the hosts recommendation and exceeded my expectations!

Have ordered take away half a dozen times and they always impress. You are greeted with warmth at the counter and it never stops. The food is very good. Don t just try your faves get adventurous! Arrive early to get a table as the restaurant is very small. The staff are friendly and efficient. I had the bibimbap which was nice.

I m not exaggerating by saying this place is Pictons s best kept secret. We randomly stopped by while visiting the town for the first time and I m so grateful we did! The customer service was outstanding Heesun was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The food was simply delicious, with each dish perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. From start to finish, it was a truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommended! It is a small traditional place in a side street but the food is awesome, traditional. They also do take out. Service is great the waitress is attentive but not overwhelming.

Thank you to the kind person who advised us, welcomed us, offered a menu if we ordered takeaway and the reception when we passed. Montreal has something to dress for, it was incredibly delicious!!!! Lovely little restaurant serving tasty korean food - my favourite cuisine! We ordered their pan fried dumplings, beef kimbap, bibimbap, japchae and iced honey citron tea - everything was yum and presentation was A+, especially their handmade dumplings. However, their warm and attentive service is what makes the restaurant stand out. The host is truly impeccable! We visited Sujeo on a Tuesday, a little before 5pm. Upon entry, the host welcomed our family of 4 and quickly informed us that kitchen opened at 5pm, making sure it was ok with us. All throughout our stay, I was able to observe how efficient she was at welcoming dine-in customers, conversing with take-out customers, taking phone orders, explaining menu items, packing orders, all while waiting on all of the tables - all by herself, and always with a smile! She never looked rushed or annoyed, she gave her full attention to the task at hand. She elevated our dining experience and she s probably the reason why first time customers become regulars :-) I would be if I wasn t just visiting Picton! Parking: Free parking nearby

Sad to say that I visited this restaurant this evening with my Jamaican husband and children. While reading the menu out front, the receptionist turned off the open sign. It was only 6:45 pm. Restaurant closes at 8 pm . She opened the door to let us know we were only able to order take out. I smiled and said thanks and carried on looking at the menu. Within 20 seconds, another couple walked right in and I watched her seat them. Unfortunately, this was the 3rd restaurant we had tried to visit this evening. As both the first 2 restaurants denied us, I tried to keep an open mind that it wasnt personal. But the boldness of this ignorant employee just confirmed my thoughts.

Sujeo s is AMAZING! The food is world class, been here twice now and I was tempted to order the same thing because it was SOOO GOOD! However my wife and I chose some new dishes and we were glad we did. This is a new favourite for us. Also the service is very good, they are very polite and service is prompt. Parking: Go down to the end of Elizabeth street and there is a large free parking lot.

Sujeo is for sure one of the best Korean food restaurants I have ever been. Beef bulgogi bibimbap and their winter special spicy fried noodle with sea food was amazing. The service was super friendly and quick. Highly recommended Just FYI. The space is small they can accommodate i think 8 people or so therefore be prepared to wait. However as i mentioned they are quick so wait times are not bad.

We drive to Picton every winter almost exclusively for this restaurant. SUJEO is so incredibly good, everything on the menu is the best thing Ive ever eaten! Dietary restrictions: Tell them any restrictions and they will help you choose the perfect dish for you! Gluten, vegetarian, MSG sensitivities and allergies, etc.

We just had sujeo for dinner instead of weekly Friday night pizza. It was fantastic as usual. We got the Spicy Honey Chicken and some Dumplings, but also their new winter special. That dish had awesome udon noodles with veg, beef and spicy sauce. It was unbelievable! Of course there are leftovers for tomorrow. Sujeo is must try/must eat!

So, so, so good! The food was so delicious it literally converted my meat and potatoes husband into now wanting to try more Korean food. I had to twist his arm to try it and after the first bite he was thanking me for talking him into coming here.

Its so quaint and like sitting in the hearth of a Korean family. You can hear the good food being lovingly prepared to order, utilizing their homemade sauces and recipes. He had spicy honey chicken served with rice and stir fry veggies, and I had the beef with sweet potato starch noodles and veggies served on rice. Both were prepared beautifully and served with a smile. Customers return to this special place and so will we!

Our favourite thing is stumbling into an amazing taste experience. We did it again. Gal bi was my husbands selection, which he enjoyed emmensly. I chose the spicy honey chicken...just a little spicy but ...oh so yummy. We shared the dumplings...out of this world. Service was terrific and made us feel welcome. Worth driving to Picton...what a treat.

Really yummy. I had the Gun man du and Gal bi and it was delicious. Place is very busy, so it may be best to order take out to be safe. There s only 3 tables and they fill up pretty quick. Other than that, it was great. Good food and service.

Wow! From the second we walked in we were welcome and you knew it. This tiny restaurant is packed with charm and an incredible authentic Korean smell. What a find in a small town like Picton. The food is excellent, we had the beef sushi roll since the dumpings had already sold out. Get there early they do a big take out service. There must have been 10 or more orders going out as we dined. For our mains we took the shorts ribs and the bibimbap, both were perfect. The service was spot in and we felt we were in Korea. Try the sauces included, they are delicious and homemade. Only 4 tables might be its downfall but adds to the charm and authenticity.

Enjoyed dinner at SUJEO on a recent trip to PEC. We started with the dumplings and then had the beef bulgogi and beef bibimbap as mains all dishes were fresh, well cooked, and tasty. Be sure to try the spicy bibimbap sauce. Service was friendly and attentive. It s a small restaurant with only four tables but it s definitely worth a visit.

This restaurant was an incredible discovery. For such a small restaurant, the food and service are amazing. The sides taste fresh and the food is authentic and excellent. The service is impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant, which I think is one of the best in Picton. Vegetarian options: Some dishes are available without meat, with a vegetarian option to replace meat.

Sujeo has become one of our top three (3) places to eat in Picton. Not only is the food incredibly tasty and priced fairly, the service is another level. The owners are some of the friendliest people I ve ever met, and always make the experience even better than just the food itself. The dumplings are my favourite anywhere, and could easily be ordered as a snack, anytime. The bulgogi and bibimbap are go-to s for mid week takeout, and unfortunately, never provide for leftovers .only because we can never seem to save any!!! Dining in is cozy and peaceful, even when the kitchen is going full steam ahead! We certainly appreciate the authenticity, love, passion, and incredibly friendly service we experience every time we walk through the door (or chat on the phone for that matter). Absolutely amazing! One of my favourite take out spots in the county! Scrumptious, flavourful and quality ingredients. The dumplings are delicious. The Gal Bi is to die for , I was doing the happy dance in my chair. Well worth a visit if you are in Picton ! The staff are super friendly and bubbly and will do there absolutely best to make the best possible meal! Its hard not to fall in love with Sujeo.

Best Korean food for miles. You cant go wrong with anything on their menu. Ive been eating there for about a year and tried most of the menu the food is always 10/10. The owners are some of the nicest food service people ive ever met.

Must visit on your trip to Picton. Michelin star food and service at the price of your average diner. The food is authentic in the sense that my sweet and sour chicken was neither too sweet nor too spicy. It was simply well balanced on every front: temperature, spice, sweetness, portions, ratios, etc... The staff genuinely seemed to care about your experience and spent the time to learn what you want to eat, tell the story of their store and support you as a visitor. The fact that an average dinner amounts to $25 after taxes, tips and drinks is just unbelviebly low.

This is one of my favourite restaurants of all time. All things considered, it was amazing. Price was great, service was fantastic and the food was perfect. We had dumplings and a beef short rib dish. Everything was cooked amazing, seasoning, how long, etc. if you re in to hot sauce, it s also amazing. A good level of heat and a little bit of sweetness as well. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and I were extremely impressed to find a true cultural experience deep in the heart of Picton!! Korean food, done very well, with love and attention to detail. All food is fresh, cooked properly and full of flavor. Portion sizes were reasonable but it was surprising to have to pay for side dishes.. in korean food thats a normal thing that comes with every meal. Thats why 4 stars for me... the side dishes are a must with any korean meal nit something that is an extra

5-star customer service. So glad I discovered this gem. I was in the area for 2 weeks and dined-in a few times. The first dish I tried was delicious and probably the best meal I ve ever eaten (spicy honey chicken and gun man du). I didn t care for the bibimbap, but that s my own preference. I ordered the honey chicken again for my last meal in town and it wasn t as delicious as the first time, but it was still good. Gimbap was also tasty. I ll definitely dine here if I m ever in the area again.

This place is fantastic! Ive had takeout many times, everything tastes like it is made with love. Im vegan and I love ordering the Veg Gim bap and Bibimbap without egg. My friends love the Bulgolgi and the Gu Man Du dumplings. The restaurant is run by the friendliest people, they really put the experience over the top. Also love the beer / cold drinks selection. It is my favourite fresh, quick & healthy option in Picton right now, enthusiastically recommend.

I would rate it 4.5 stars. PEC lucky to have this GEM! Food is excellent and the staff is super friendly!! All dishes were very tasty and flavourful. Only reason for not giving a 5 star is the bibim is not served hot like traditional Bibim but otherwise is still very good.

UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. I wish I got more for left overs. We got the dumplings, #5 and #6. Everything was to die for. Best food in town by far. Don t even think about eating at 555 you won t be disappointed

This place is amazing. We ordered 1st night in town, went back the very next night again for more after considering almost everything else in town. You cant go wrong, everything weve had on the menu is delicious.

Enjoyed the gimbap with fish cake. The freshness and flavours were excellent and good amount of food for cost. Would definitely recommend it. Apologies I ate about half before I remembered to take a photo as it was so good!

This was a great find in Prince Edward County. We know Korean food and this was very good - the ingredients were fresh and well prepared. The kids had kimbap which the restaurant were very kind to make to their specifications as there are some things they don t care for. The rice was well seasoned as were the fillings. Some of the fillings were a little non-traditional such as kale. I would have liked to sample the beef or tuna. I had bibimbap which had great veggies and a delicious helping of bulgogi. The kids were happy to see favourite drinks like Milkis and chewy grapes. We would definitely return. It was take out only due to covid. We enjoyed it in the nearby park but I would have loved to eat in under different circumstances. The people were so kind and lovely.

Wow this is a great addition to Picton. Make sure to order take out. It tastes just as good and very convenient. We have been there many times and have always had great service. Love this place.

Sujeo is a great little gem of a restaurant. The food is excellent and service super friendly. We ordered take out for dinner here for the first time and we were very impressed. We tried the dumplings, bibimbap, rice rolls, all great. Go there. Eat there. Love it there!

We dined in with 3 people & 1 vegetarian tonight. The food is amazing & staff is very good. Very good portion & we enjoy the Korean food. Keep up the good work. It is good to have a restaurant like this in this city.
