Stone, lakeside hotel offering informal rooms & cottages, plus dining & an on-site brewery
My wife and I stayed at the Treehouse for a week. It is a tad small but as described and depicted. The cottage is about 30 steps from the lake, there is a small beach that we usually had to ourselves. The water is clear, warm, and has a sandy bottom. Idyllic. We bring beach umbrellas, beach chairs, floating chairs, and some good books. We paid around $1,700 for the week. What a deal. We’re renting one of the larger cottages on the waterfront summer 2025. |The kitchenette allows us to cook our own meals if we want. We made our breakfasts, kept cheeses and charcuterie items in the fridge for the afternoons. We love the main dining room and had diner there every evening. You can eat outside on the patio or inside, they are both lovely. The service is average but the food is exceptional. |It’s such a nice spot and such a good deal I hate to promote it, it is already a popular vacation spot. Book early.
Not worth the price. For the cost of a night, I would expect more updated cabins. Interiors were very old and outdated, could have been a lot cleaner. When we turned on the sinks brown water came out of the tap and bath tub. And we were without water one of the mornings. For the cost, I expect something much nicer. Best thing was the scenery.
My stay was wonderful. A beautiful location and charming cottages. I had a couple of glitches, (one after office hours) that were taken care of immediately. Thanks so much! P.A . Walsh
Breathtaking and magical -nature at its best. Looking for a comfortable, spotless, genuine summer getaway -this is it!!!! Superb food, view, staff and lodgings. Thank you -see you soon! Brenda and Robert
We didn't stay at the hotel, we stopped by the lake, really wanted to have a coffee or a drink but the waiting list in the restaurant was way too long. Views are amazing, this lake is magical
Our family dined here yesterday and the experience was wonderful. We called (last minute) for a reservation and they were able to accommodate our table of four plus our newborn, on short notice. The service we received from Olivia was impeccable. Her calm, graceful demeanour made for an extremely pleasant experience, topped off by the delicious meals we enjoyed. The summer pasta was spot on, as was the pan seared branzino. The icing on the cake, quite literally, was the “pudding chomeur,” a maple sponge pudding cake that I will now crave until our next visit. Surrounded by some of the best views in the County, we had a wonderful meal, coupled with a very polished service. We’ll certainly be back!
My husband and I enjoyed our few days at the resort for the first time. Quiet resort(even had a wedding one day and the reception was done by 8 p.m.). All units have a bbq but provide own coals. Not a lot to do but very relaxing if you enjoy sitting by the private lake with no motorized boats. Walk across the road to have a great view over drinks and chaucauterie items. We had the Treehouse with a beautiful enclosed sunroom but don't pick it if you can't do a winding, narrow stairs up to the bedroom(we found it difficult). Bathroom is small. Only connected one time intermittently to the internet in 4 days and only 2 tv stations (TVO and 1 other small station). Bring your own necessities (tp/shampoo etc) as given a small supply to start but there is no restocking/housekeeping not on site or towels changed which was fine for the 3 days there or short durations. Not air conditioned but the evenings were cool along with the floor fan.
Reservations are advised. We were able to adjust our reservation in the afternoon of the day of. We were welcomed to a very nice clean restaurant. A large stone fireplace had a wood fire burning gently. We’ll spaced tables, with great servers. The food and wine was great. Perfect sized portions filled us up with no room for desert. The deserts at the tables around us looked amazing.
Always wonderful food, service and ambience. Food and drinks: Restaurant is lovely, inside and on the patio. Food is delicious, and the service never disappoints. Service : 5/5 |
Have stayed here multiple times. Have made this an annual weekend visit. Great cabins, great food and staff Rooms
Food and drinks: La quiche très ordinaire.
Breathe taking view
Excellent!
Such an amazing - simple - relaxed atmosphere and wonderful food... the view of the lake and mainland exquisite!! Food and drinks: Everything on the menu is tasty!!
Hostess/Staff are super friendly! take their food and drinks recommendations. you will be so pleased! Local Farm to table is what makes their food special and delicious
My husband and I got married at the beginning of June. He stayed at the Treehouse the night before the wedding and we both stayed there the night of. It was very convenient as we were getting married at Lake on the Mountain through Carriage Lane Elopements (would highly recommend for anyone looking for a micro wedding) and it was a place for me to get ready before the wedding. The Treehouse is rustic but has all the amenities that two people could need. The first floor housed the bathroom, a little closet under the stairs, the kitchen, stove (for heating), two chairs, and a two chair dinette. A spiral staircase (which is a bit steep but by no means a challenge) lead to a spacious loft with a bed, dresser, and TV. It was very clean. There is a lovely outdoor area with a picnic table and a fire pit (which looked like an old time rim) by the water. My husband and I had a great time at the Treehouse and would absolutely stay there again. We were discussing building a cottage of our own in a similar design. It was a place you could feel comfortable with staying in on a rainy day but certainly a space that encourages you to go outside and enjoy the property. As for the cons, my husband said the bed was a bit uncomfortable for him but I didnt have any issues. My only issue was that the water smelt heavily of sulphur, especially when it was warm.
Chalets that lack a little love but located in a magnificent location.
Picturesque and delicious
We had a wonderful meal on the patio. The tortierre and the white fish were superb. When you visit Prince Edward County do not miss this spot! The scenery was fantastic.
Cool View
Great view and tasty meals and fast service
Great location and ambiance! After an initial misunderstanding and booking error on our part, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. In the future well be considering the cottages on the lake. The log cabin was just a little too rustic for our taste, but it appears to have undergone some renovations since. We really enjoyed Millers Tavern and the stunning view of the bay as well as the fine restaurant on the property, Overall, great venue for a weekend escape!
We went the first weekend that THE INN was open for the 2022. No more parking drama. Excellent service as as per usual food and wine was yummy.
We had a lovely stay at The House Across the Road. We had a beautiful view of the lake and the room felt spacious and cozy and was very clean.
Good lunch. Good selection and beer! Amazing view
A wonderful place to stay in PEC with great views and restaurants. We will be coming back!
Great view on room 1 of the house across the street. The AC was really old and SO NOISY it woke us up all night. The shower head should have been replaced. Bed was comfy and the room was clean.
Nice place... Cosy and quiet !
We stayed in Rm 2 of the House over the Road. Room is nice, location is great but shower is poor, TV has only 2 channels and internet is lousy.
Great spot for the wedding we attended there!
We went this summer, great service I had the fish special and it was delicious
We were touring the Picton area and went to Lake on the Mountain, intending to go to Millers for Lunch. We had our dog with us and I took him for a quick walk while the rest of the party went into Millers to get a table. I noted no trespassing and no dog signs around the restaurant area and also saw other dogs there, so I went the opposite way. I was walking along the side of the main road (which is a public highway) opposite the resort, in an area nowhere near any buildings or people. My dog walked off the side of the road to pee, and some lady yelled very condescendingly from what appears to be the main resort building across the highway that we were on private property. Unfortunately the coward that yelled this was hidden somewhere in the building so I couldn t respond. The lunch at Millers was amazing, but was completely overshadowed by the Karen next door, and had the other members of my party not already ordered drinks, I would have left once I realized Millers was associated with the resort. Either way, I certainly won t be back. We ve travelled all over the country with our dogs and have never experienced anything like this. The signs plastered on the side of the building asking Stewart Bailey (whoever that is) to resign immediately, were also really strange.
Absolute beautiful place . You must take the time and stop and embrace the scenery. Definitely will be back with a picnic.
Only went to the restaurant, didn t go to the resort. But it was very lovely, the food was awesome and the atmosphere was splendid. Plus, the location is gorgeous, as it sits between 2 lakes, and you get great views of both of them
We were suppose to be in Log Cabin 1 for July 18-20. We showed up to our scheduled check-in time of 3pm only to be greeted by our room still being cleaned (that was ok, bc we are pretty understanding people). Once we got in, we quickly realized there was no air conditioning in the cabin. To be honest, we were pretty upset with this because no where on their website did it say that there wouldn t be AC and if we knew, I would never have booked the cabin. My wife has medication that needed to be stored at room temperature (not fridge or freezer) and there is no possible way we could have stayed there for two days. On top of that, the second day, there was an air quality warning and it felt like 38 degrees. AC, like heating, should be considered a basic necessity. When I asked why it wasn t advertised, I was told, We don t advertise that we don t have air conditioning. Almost all accommodations in the County don t have air conditioning This was our 6th time in Prince Edward County and ALL of the accommodations we have stayed at had air conditioning. I understand accommodation providers have strict cancellation policies; however there was no effort to rectify on how inconvenient this was for us. We had to frantically look for something else and thankfully Angeline s Inn came through. I will never stay here and won t be recommending this place to anyone. It s too bad, bc we are huge fans of the Miller House.
Free parking at the small parking lot. Obtain ticket from machine free mon-thurs only. Beautiful look out to the lake on the mountain with ramp or stairs to enter look out area. Opposite side of the road you will see the Bay of Quinte with the operating ferry. A bar on site and restaurant. Small motel also. No convience store.
Recently spent 4 nights at this resort, Bayview Bunkie to be specific which was not part of the main resort but run by Lake on the Mountain. The cabin was newly renovated, extremely clean BUT... a few points that were not satisfactory. basically no view due to over grown trees, advertised as having a dock and fire pit but zero landscaping and a mud slide to get down there so we couldnt benefit from it, no lighting outside access down stairs- very dangerous, inside no railings going up and down the stairs - again very dangerous! Screen door to balcony always came off track even after it was fixed, appreciate the no contact checkin and everything but not enough towels nor garbage bags for 4 nights so had to go to the office to request. hopefully the other cabins in the main resort are better but be careful when renting this one. Regarding the 2 eating establishments on site, we ate at the Miller House which was very good, great service, great view!
Charming place with excellent food at both restaurants. Rustic accommodation but everything you need. Highly recommend and I will certainly come again.
My wife & I booked the Bayview Bunkie at Lake on the Mountain Resort. This building is located at the bottom of the mountain right on the Bay of Quinte. This small, 2 level Bunkie is built onto the back of the garage, with the main house right beside it. The website photos are accurate. The Bunkie unit is nicely laid out and attractive, with a comfortable queen sized bed and bathroom on the lower level as you enter and the kitchen/living area & deck up above. Its well equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, utensils and TV. A small deck with 2 Muskoka chairs is attached to the upper level with a really nice view of the Bay of Qunite. There is no AC so it can get very hot in the unit. 2 small fans are supplied which was helpful for sleeping at night. Getting down to the water where there is a small dock to sit on is a bit tricky as the hill is steep and ungraded. We ran into a problem with sewage smell in and around the unit. On our first night there we left all the windows open, the 2 fans running plus the bathroom exhaust fan on to try and dissipate it. I reported it to management in the morning who confirmed the site is on septic bed, but we were disappointed there was no follow up after they reported they would send someone out to check on the issue. Overall its a nice spot, good view and location but the smell of sewage kept it from being great. That needs to be addressed to ensure guest have a great experience.
Very much not a resort Towels and bedding were not serviced evey day, this is the least concerning. Guests were asked to wash the provided dishware but not provided soap or cleaning supplies. I and I assume every previous guest did no more than a rinse Guests were asked to take garbage to a dumpster at the other end of the property or face a cleaning fee, and there was no garbage can other than a very small one in the washroom. We asked for coffee in the morning (drip coffee, nothing complicated), and it took almost 45min for the staff to have it ready. They then also charged us for it. There was no staff onsite at all for check-out.
Food was great
The door to our suite did not have a lock that worked, there was no phone number or name provided in the welcome email. We went to the restaurant looking for someone and were told to speak with one person there. We spoke with them about the issue. We were told that they will send someone to check it out but no one showed up. We felt unsafe during our stay and had to take our valuables with us in the car during the day. That was inconvenient. We also had another problem. One of the fridges we used was a freezer (no signage) and most of our food was spoiled. When we reported this to the same person, we were told this never happened before. The beds were very uncomfortable, possibly too old and one of the windows in one of the two bedrooms caused the wind to whistle all night; perhaps due to poor sealings. The one very positive thing was the awesome view from the balcony! The place was also very clean. Overall, our stay was okay but the service was very poor. We will not go back.
Very disappointing. Bad stench from the bath room pervades the unit. Over priced. Many deficiencies. Stairs to loft are very narrow, with no hand rails - seniors and kids beware, could be dangerous.
Ate here back in 2017 and had the best relaxing meal on patio. The charcuterie board came out on the cutest platter and I became obsessed with the onion & bacon jam that I just had to buy one and take it home with me!
Stayed in the Treehouse for 6 nights in October 2021 for our honeymoon! We had an absolutely beautiful stay on the lake - we loved everything about the little cottage (including its amazing location) and will definitely be back, maybe in the summer next time :)
Beautiful lake front location, perfect place to disconnect and relax. Facilities are immaculate.
Good food.
Love this place
Great place to visit
It was not what we expected but Danielle did her possible and went the extra Mile to accomodate us , the location is great.
Good food, good service, great location!
beautiful scenery and peaceful, yummy food and tasty beer
Its ao beautiful
We stayed in the third floor suite for our Mini Honeymoon and the views were just absolutely beautiful and utterly relaxing. The suite was exactly as pictured and squeaky clean. I loved that the kitchen had everything you would need (sans stove). I am giving it a 4 star because the manager was ridiculously hard to get a hold of, I am assuming that is just because of business. Other than that, it was a great visit.
This place is beautiful, the staff lovely, the restaurants awesome, and the views spectacular. Will be back.
Great service and great food
September 14/2020 Amazing view from the patio. Nice staff. Shared a platter of naan with bean dip. A good cup of coffee each. So glad to have visited this place.
Quality food and beer with superb service! The view is outstanding.
Limited menu but great food...well be back!
Quaint, safe and very relaxing!
Simple, clean, beautiful view, fully equipped.
It s a magical place, the view is amazing, during summer the restaurant is amazing
Nice place. Great food.
Staff an food is excellent
My husband and I came here for our 1 year anniversary on May 18th, 2019. While it is true the service is on the slower side, the view was amazing and the charcuterie boards were great. We knew to expect a slower service because we had read the reviews beforehand so we did not mind chatting and waiting (again, especially with the view). I only wish that you could make reservations before hand!
Well worth it .. really good food
Amazing!!!
Excellent restaurant with fine dining and a great atmosphere.
Great food, great service, great venue.
nice
Beautiful location and lovely little cottages .
We had a wonderful lunch at the main in on a summer Sunday afternoon, a beautiful place for a day trip in the county.
nice view good for a quick stop
Very very slow service. We got our food after 70 minutes. Location is great. Food was okay, staff was very pleasant. 3 stars over all ....
First of all its about location and the views as well as history. The rest is about the food and ambience. Great friendly service but the food is the star of the show.
We had Room #3 in the house across the street . Cozy Victorian home with alot of the original architecture. We had a view of the lake on the Mountain. Comfy bed with a TV and small fridge. Room had AC. Wifi worked but was slow, we mostly used our data. Wine glasses and opener available for use. 2 restaurants right next door . Close to Picton and Waupoos . Lovely weekend getaway!
Went with my husband and two kids and had very pleasant greetings. My issue was how slow the service was and then when it arrived was very dry and absolutely below standard. The rice was worse than what I made in College.
Wonderful meal in a lovely setting.
Wonderful!
Amazing lunch of strawberry green salad! Mussels steam in lemon cream sauce there 3 chocolate cake is a must!
The lake is somewhat of a natural wonder, with no apparent water source. The Miller House Cafe Brasserie has a wonderful patio with a breathtaking view of the Bay of Quintet. Amazing sharing plates for a light lunch. Enjoy....
While we did not stay at the resort we certainly did enjoy the two restaurants on either side of the road that it offers. The one which overlooks the County has a very pleasing view from its patio, where you can watch the comings and goings of the Glenora ferry 200 feet below. Their charcuterie boards are quite varied and the one I shared with my partner was excellent. Both restaurants offer craft beer brewed a mile away at the bottom of the hill. Believe me when I say they are worth trying. For both visits the waitstaff were highly engaging and simply added to our experience. And if you plan a visit, ask the inevitable question, how is there a lake at the top of the mountain when there is no glacier or snow melt to feed it. This has been a mystery for some time.
Great place to visit and enjoy some local wine and scenery.
The location was beautiful, with lush wooded areas around the log cabin, and quirky old farm equipment scattered throughout. Accommodations were sparkling clean. Interactions with the proprietors was sadly, quite negative. We gathered for a family reunion, and each of the members of our family recounted the strange vibes, list of rules and don ts to the point that we felt quite uncomfortable staying there. When we checked out the day before they make comments about where we had placed the lawn furniture, indicating they had been snooping around! You have to gather all the garbage from your stay and drive it up to the top of the hill to the garbage bin when you check out, which is something we have never been asked to do before unless it was an air bnb. Someone in our group noticed a small group checking out the resort; they were in the parking lot with a small dog, and the owner rushed out yelling- No dogs, get the dog out of here! They screwed up their faces and promptly left, likely never to return. The service the main restaurant is quite slow; we had to wait over an hour for our entrees. Apparently this is an ongoing issue with this place. The food is delicious, but it is expensive for what you get. We just could not get over the feeling that we were interlopers there, and were not made to feel welcome. Beautiful area, but when we return we will stay elsewhere.
Providing different forms of accommodation and food, Lake On The Mountain Resort, continues to provide a high level service and quality that I have come to expect over the last 20 years. The food is great at both locations (across the road from each other) and the home brewed beer needs to be sampled. Everyone is friendly. Could not ask for a better setting for a day, weekend or more, away in an idyllic setting.
Nice lunch and view
A piece of Heaven on Earth
Beautiful place
Lovely
Lovely place for a day trip.
Food was excellent and service was exceptional. Beautiful location
The scenery is great and a fantastic restaurant there.
Great place, view and people..
We stayed at the top suite of the house across the street. The suite was beautiful clean and very relaxing. We went to the restaurant 2 nights. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional.
Very picturesque and quaint restaurant in Prince Edward County. We came here for a family get together. We sat on their patio for some drinks, apps and lunch. The service was great, and the food was excellent! I had a steak sandwich. Everyones food was exceptionally well-prepared, and delicious. The food was not priced to expensive, considering the quality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone reading this review. Very friendly staff and delicious food!
Excellent little cottages we enjoyed our stay for 2 days
Breathtaking views!
Breathtaking views
Lake on the Mountain Resort is a fantastic restaurant. We showed up without a reservation during peak hours on a holiday weekend. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making room for us at their very well equipped bar. A crisp and fruity IPA and an incredible virgn ceasar later, we ordered their mountain burger and the smoked salmon. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic. The ambience delightful. Highly recommended.
Recently I took a large group for the weekend to this beautiful resort. This was our second year coming and I cant wait till next year. With 30 people each time we have seen all accommodations from the House, Cabins, and the Glenora rentals. Danielle and her team do such a fantastic job running this Gem on the Mountain. The food is always a highlight at The Inn and The Miller House. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and the beautiful intention you have all placed into the property. A wonderful place to stay of even just stop in for a visit.
beautiful area to stay in
Food was ok. Overpriced. Friendly staff in the restaurant but not friendly staff in the resort part. Wanted to pose near the flowers with the lake in the background and was told that since I was not staying in the resort I couldnt step near the flowers. I would think that being a customer of the restaurant would be good enough but guess not.
Great destination
A wonderful lunch.
Lovely view, homey feeling with a nice music selection. Food was good, service was decent.
The food... The setting... The view... This place has it all!!!
One of my favorite places to eat when lm in the county.
Love it here! The view is breath taking and the staff very kind and accommodating! Picture is last fall from the Barley room pub.
We try to get there at least twice a year, back roads the whole way from Bowmanville. But the food, the view and the great staff make this one of our favorite day trips.
View is breathtaking and the food is wonderful!
The Food is excellent quality, no prepared ahead salads! The people professional, I like the atmosphere, we had a bubbly waiter this added to the enjoyable evening! Awesome!
Had drinks and 1 of at least 6 tasting boards sitting on a lovely patio overlooking a spectacular view at Lake On The Mountain Brewing Company
We stopped for lunch on the recommendation of friends. They said it was going to be really good. It was better than we ever expected. Service was great, food was amazing! Recommend to all.
Love this place. Wonderful view, great food and great craft beer.
The food is incredible, service is always friendly and the views are gorgeous! Couldnt ask for more in a Canadian vacation spot. Try the pork cheeks!
The food was delicious. We ordered the arctic char special and the braised short ribs. The Arctic char was perfectly cooked. Tender and moist with a crispy skin. The braised short ribs were delicious. The brown ale sauce was amazing. Prices were also quite reasonable.
Enjoyed every aspect :)
The place was beautiful. Food was delicious. Great place to check out in PEC.
interesting lake on the mountain top. very relaxing!
We ate dinner at the Inn for our trip to Price Edward County. Pleasant visit with good food and good service.
Had a great lunch.
Hang out with friends in a beautiful scenery restaurant
It was a nice place for a walk around the area
Fantastic meal in a beautiful setting. Great friendly service and while pricey its worth it. Look forward to going back.
Had a table at the end of the patio with an unbelievable view. We had a glass of wine which was good and a charcuterie board we loved. Quick friendly service. Overall this stop was the highlight of our day.
Great little spot for a getaway in the countryside.
Great Place to stop and look at the view. Restaurant has good food.
Beautiful resort. Rustic, but very affordable. Staff is always eager to help.
Come for the views, stay for the food. The service was efficient and courteous. On a windy day, it might be more comfortable to sit inside though.
Food at both the Inn and Miller House is wonderful! Pack something for breakfast or be prepared to head into Picton - nothing open until 10:00
Such a cute place with breathe taking views!
We stayed at the house across the street. Fabulous views of the bay. Very friendly staff.
I would have rated it one star but the venue was nice. That being most venues for weddings or big events are generally nice. This place had cabins to rent... But it was bare bones. They had no A/C and the fans they provided where like desk fans... No upright fans. The best part was the washroom. But all in all was way overpriced!!! I cant be too angry ...because I should have booked with an air bnb. The place had served us beer in a cup that was a bit smaller than a solo cup and charged $7!!! Sporting events charge the same but at least its usually a tall boy. Water was 2 bucks as well. Needless to say, I didnt buy any extras and they have every right to charge whatever they like... But this is a warning to those who go there blind. If you read this and are ok with spending money like this than thats ok. Youve been notified and if you want more for your money go elsewhere.
Stayed at the log house cabin for a weekend.
My wife and I celebrated our 1st anniversary here. It was magnificent! The food at the Inn is some of the best Ive ever had and the beer was brewed right next to our lodgings. We had a camp fire and a small piece of paradise all to ourselves at night, and during the day, we travelled all across the Prince Edward County. With the convenient location right next to the ferry, and a great price, I would stay there again if I were in PEC.
True Ontario rural milieu.
Beautiful scenery and nice brunch spot but we already ate. Not alot of walking opportunities but the lake was a beautiful sheet of glass.
Friendly customer service. Clean room. Would come back.
Great food
Its a mesmerizing place. Nature at its best. We stopped by at The Inn for dinner. The food and service was good. Their bruschettas and pan seared oven baked chicken is very delicious.
Great view of the lake!
Scenic place to eat just steps from the lake. The food was excellent.
Superb view and environment with good food!!
Good food good service nice location . Been here before and will return again. Thanks for making our day trip a sucess
Great lunch on the patio. Such a scenic location.
Goo
Lunch was tasty and location was super nice.a touch pricy, over 20 for lunch and a pint
Beautiful little spot. Drove a long way to visit. Food smelled great but unfortunately not pet friendly. Picton and Wellington however are very pet friendly.
Customer service is the best. On a wind day staff were most helpful in sitting us inside. Food was great as always. Something for everyone.
Stayed here for the weekend and got the log cabin place is absolutely amazing. Bonus the brewery is a short walk across the pod
Our experience there was amazing - the team was really warm and welcoming and very helpful with answering our questions. It made our weekend getaway amazing!
Amazing views, great beer and awesome local charcuterie.
Awesome place very friendly and affordable
Always an excellent experience...food and service!!!
Great selection of beers and great food. Servers were very friendly and attentive and the building and surrounding are superb. Unfortunately the back of house let them down on our visit: no french fries available, the fish was sold out and we waited over an hour for our food.
Went for dinner with my partners family and I ordered the smoked salmon and it was absolutely amazing and I would gladly order it again. My partner ordered the Mountain Poutine and was quite disappointed and felt it was more of an appetizer.
Excellent food and prices, very pre. Good service
Great view, good service, not the best cappucino in the county
Stunning area.
Friendly staff and the food was great! Highly recommend getting a reservation.
Attended wedding there. Friendly staff and good appetizers.
Walked in with no reservation on Thanksgiving Sunday. It was busy but the staff made us feel very welcome and they found us a table. We had a truly excellent meal. Compliments to the Chef. The attentive service was perfect. Thanks for a happy experience.
Beautiful location. Decent food, not earth shattering, but good none the less. Its location you are there for more than anything.
I went in the height of the summer. The restaurant was busy and the service from the kitchen was appalling. I thought we would never eat. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, but the food was not coming out of the kitchen. When it arrived, it was quite good, but waiting an hour really cast a pall on the experience.
What amazing views! I love the history and mystery of the lake. Highly recommended!
