Food was okay. Nothing special. Really over priced for what you get. Want a glass of wine? $30 a glass! And no options from local PEC. Tables are tiny for a tapas restaurant, considering you order multiple dishes we could not fit more than a few plates and felt so crowded. Atmosphere was dark and cold. Would not be returning. Not sure what the hype was about

One of the best restaurants in Picton. Warm and buzzing atmosphere, engaging & caring staff, and exquisite food. The tapas style turned out to be perfect for just my partner & I (and is always good for larger groups). Our bartender, Andrew, was on-point for recommendations accommodating preferences & dietary restrictions. I ate slower than normal because every bite was so savoury. You cannot go wrong with anything you pick at Bocado.

A good restaurant is not just about the food, but most and foremost it s about customer service. Very disappointing today on this point. A returning client (like me) should not be treated like that s what we have for you and let me go! Pretty hard to be really good, just pretending! I ll never step in anymore.

Just had a fantastic experience at Bocado. Good ambiance and incredibly flavourful food that was presented like individual works of art. Enjoyed myself too much to remember to take photos of the food. The service was great, our server Heather was lovely and knew the dishes well. Every dish was explained to us. Different staff brought out our dishes. Everything appeared seamless and efficient. Im gluten free as is most of the menu. Staff were very conscientious about the GF. All around great experience. If youre in Picton, Bocado is a must!!!!

We are still talking about the food days later. Simple, fresh ingredients prepared at the peak of their taste. It is pricey but the value is also there. Just go and enjoy!

The dishes at Bocado are absolutely exquisite! The tapas, especially the Pulpo, Patatas bravas and Tomatoes con queso melt in your mouth. We also greatly appreciated Heathers sound advice and attentive service. The portions were very generous, 5 tapas for 2 people was more than enough.

Great service and better food. Very accommodating and options for dairy-free. The atun tapas was one of my favourite bites of 2024. Ask for some toast to savour all the sauce. Very lively place but you can still hear each other speak without shouting. Wish it was closer to home.

Wow, a great Spanish Restaurant with superb quality dishes served. We were served very well and the atmosphere was very good.

Seafood paella was fire - comparable to the paella in Spain. Atun Tuna and octopus were phenomenal; patatas bravas was mid/okay. Jeremy (server) was super helpful with my sesame seed/peanut allergy compared to other places when you know they half asss or don t check. Tapas experience was def on the pricier side but i would say worth it given their high quality ingredients. Running it back anytime im back in the County lezzzz go!

Had the best time , Carley was so much fun for my wife and I, we tried so many tapas, amazing wine , the bartender was well educated to recommend new and local wines as well as a pleasure to meet and talk with, overall had amazing night and finished off with a great McAllan double cask 12 year old to end a perfect night ! Could not recommend more ! Absolute great place !

Amazing food! Great service! 2 things that should be improved are the chairs, they are soooo unconfortable! And the music is annoying. Its club style music and the volume is way too loud. If i wanted to not ear my partner talk with boom boom music I would have gone to a club,not a restaurant. And asking for 18% as a minimum tip on the payment machine is too high and shows expectations are narcissist.

Absolutely outstanding experience, everything was above and beyond my hopes

My partner and I found this resto by chance after a day at the wineries and had no idea what to expect. We were truly amazed by the food. Every dish we ordered was phenomenal but especially the calamari and octopus indescribably good. We re from Toronto and would happily make the drive here again just to dine at Bocado. Service was also great, atmosphere was inviting and we found it well priced for the quality and the portion sizes of the tapas were larger than we expected; well worth it!

Oh my lanta. Yum yum YUM. My fiancé and I shared the 3 cheese plate, 3 meats, and cauliflower dish and it was all extraordinary. This restaurant is very accommodating to celiac disease and the staff were absolutely lovely. If you are a party of 2, I recommend sitting at the bar. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely return when we come back to this area. We did not get a picture of the cheese plate because we ate it too fast. Dietary restrictions: They cater to celiac disease!

I ate here last night with my girlfriend. We tried maybe 7 tapas dishes and they were all delicious. Gillan our server was awesome, he answered all my questions with great detail and enthusiasm plus he made fantastic recommendations. Finally when I got the bill I was shocked by how reasonably priced it was.

It caught us by surprise such a gem in Picton! The best food and experience we had in a long time in Canada! A must when visiting the island!

It will always have a special place in my heart because its were we got engaged! We got great service, and the food was exellent, and so was the value. If youre in the county, it would be my top recommendation, and Ive spent a lot of time here over the year.

Enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Bocado. The service was impeccable, our waiter took the time to explain the many ways one could enjoy their menu! We decided on two tapas dishes (tuna, and the zucchini flowers) and the seafood paella, and they were all amazing!

Bocado s tuna is to die for to the point where the whole table order their individual plate. I come back every year from Toronto specifically for that dish. Everyone should try the Atun at least once when visiting. Another great dish is the ribeye along with the patatas bravas as a tapa.

Authentic Spanish restaurant! The paella reminded me of the one we eat on the terraces of Malaga. The food and wine pairing was perfect! I recommend it to all lovers of Spanish cuisine.

Amazing food and friendly staff! Highly recommended! It was the only restaurant we found open on Sunday evening and we were pleasantly surprised how happening and delicious all the food was! The sourdough ice cream was incredible!

We had our wedding catered by Bocado. It was the best decision we made for our catering! Stuart immediately understood our vision and executed it flawlessly. The entire staff was top-notch, from the servers to the bartenders. Our guests were raving about the food all night, many saying it was the best wedding meal they d ever had. If youre looking for impeccable service and unforgettable food, Bocado is it!

Great spot for a fancy dinner in PEC. I have celiac and was able to enjoy a very filling dinner. Seasonal Menu so it does vary from what is available. Spent about $150 for a dinner for 2. Ordered: Murcia Al Vino (served with Sourdough Bread but I just sampled the cheese and quince) Ensalada Romana (dont get the crispy jamon if you are gluten free) but otherwise very flavourful salad. Papas Con Queso Paella Pollo (very large portion, fluffy rice, great flavour) Unfortunately no gluten free dessert (other than seasonal sorbet) even the ice cream is made with yeast or some sort of gluten aspect (according to our waiter) Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Options Available.

One of the best restaurants I ve been to. High quality delicious ingredients, outstanding service and great atmosphere they ve created. We sat at the bar and had a fantastic time.

Everything was impeccable! The dishes were all delicious, particularly the zucchini flowers with ricotta and the fish as the main course (Lubina). Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is not really family friendly, but we brought our 2 year old and they were very accommodating to us. They have a high chair and they served the croquettes and pan con quickly. A date night would have been more appropriate to visit this restaurant, but I m happy to have been able to go there with my family!

We loved everything about this excellent trendy Spanish restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service attentive, the cocktails are delicious and the food was divine. The tuna and octopus from the tapas menu are absolutely tasty, and the paella was excellent.

If you want the very best dining experience, look no further. Best paella weve had outside of Spain (in fact, I would argue it was even better). Sumptuous tapas (beef tartare was AMAZING). Specialty cocktails. Great imported Spanish wines. Loved the lively vibe of the place. And we are suckers for impeccable service. All in all, a perfect dining experience. A destination resto, for sure. I am telling all my friends.

Delicious food. Good service. Only complaint is that smaller dishes seemed to be served one at a time (patatas braves, croquettes etc.) whereas we would have preferred them all at once to pick and choose, but maybe thats just personal preference. Giant churro for desert was heavenly. Reservation recommended, lots of people coming and asking for tables and being turned away as fully booked.

The group meal we had prix fixe was superb. From the menu, advance dietary restrictions planning, patience with my many changes to the meal itself and the excellent service led by their top man. My guests were more than delighted. I d eaten in small groups at Bocado and now have enjoyed their unique family style - large quantities of great food and special plates for those with limitations eg artichoke paella and Shishito peppers. I don t think you can do better for a group meal than trusting the fine people at Bocado. My guests were ecstatic. Vegetarian options: Lots to have with artichoke paella, zucchini flowers and cauliflower head as the highlights. Dietary restrictions: I had 6 restrictions in a group meal of 13 they dealt with. In the standard cost of the sitting each guest got a substitute as required without a charge.

I recently dined at Bocado restaurant in Picton, and if Sandbanks is worth the trip, this restaurant is also worth it! The service was impeccable and the staff super attentive. They were very knowledgeable about the menu which helped us better appreciate all the delicious dishes. The food was amazing. Bocado offers tapas so good that you want to try everything on the menu. Even though everything was incredible, my favorites were the chicken, shrimp and chocolate mousse! The cocktails were perfect and the decor and a super pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend Bocaro to anyone passing through Picton!

Bocado is the best restaurant in the County. I have been countless times at the bar, small table or larger dinners with family style pre-set menus. Every single visit has exceeded my expectations - the staff, food and vibe are all 10/10. Cocktails are incredible. My favourite dishes are: the Datiles, Atun, Cochinillo, and Florones, but literally everything is delicious. Highly recommend!!

I had a group of 15 for dinner last week and, to a person, they thought the entire evening was superb. Service was excellent, wines list was eclectic and not inexpensive but all of our choices were really good. As a large group we selected one of their menus and they served us family style. Every dish was terrific. Many thanks!

Excellent Spanish restaurant. It was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. Typical and delicious dishes. The combination of flavors is sublime. The service was impeccable. I highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Several vegetable dishes without meat including the cauliflower which was sublime. Dietary restrictions: They made sure of the restrictions upon our arrival.

Bocado is a standout spot in Picton - delicious tapas (the iberico chorizo ), great cocktails (Bocado martinis were excellent), and vibe on point. We liked it so much that we went twice in one evening, first for a snack and then again for a late meal and a few nightcaps. Thanks for a memorable time!

Should be voted the most pretentious restaurant in the county. Food is good to great and the service was spot on. However this place is incredibly overpriced on their dishes and booze. The menu given showed 2 bottles of red under $100 starting at $92. The list was very obscure, nothing recognizable, we settled on a $15-18 bottle of Taruguin for a mere $114. The biggest down fall for this place is they try to turn over their tables every 75 minutes or better. Before arriving I made it very clear this was our 39th anniversary. After enjoying a few selections from the charcuterie the pressure was on to get ordering, eat and go. Between my wife and I, our bill would eventually come to $367.82, we were there to enjoy ourselves. From the Tapas we ordered an Ensalada Verde, it was excellent. When we went to order our second dish from the Tapas, the waiter suggested we should ordered a couple of dishes at a time. When I asked why, he said our table was booked 3 or 4 more times before closing. I smiled at 1st and he told me he was being pressured to get our table freed up quickly. Now I was not smiling and was getting angered in the middle of my anniversary dinner. So I simply said I am sorry but we will order as we need and we are here to enjoy our night, he left. Our next dish arrived, the Tartare De Came, again it was well presented and was excellent. Now the assistant general manager comes by to tell us they really have many people booked for the table. I ordered another bottle Taruguin. My wife and I, when we go out it is about enjoying each other and conversation. The AGM comes back with our bottle of wine, doesn t say much but does snap the cork in half. Most upscale restaurants know enough to lay their bottles down while stored just for that reason or maybe the AGM was stressed. A while later our waiter returns to tell us we should order more dishes soon because the kitchen was almost at last call it s 6:30 PM. I order another dish from the Tapas, Croquetas De Jamon. Now the general manager comes to the table and tells how she is jumping through hoops to make the magic happen (her words) and all is good, we will experience no more pressure to leave quickly. We are trying to have our anniversary dinner do we really need to know what s going on in the background? Our Croquetas arrived very well presented and of excellent taste and texture. We were about to order something from the Paella but after reading that we needed to allow 45 minutes for each dish, we decided against sending Management into a coma. Instead I ordered a black coffee and desert, Chocolate Y Maracuya. I guess this place is so pretentious they don t know how to make coffee and was told I would get an espresso & hot water. Funny how a simple coffee becomes so expensive when you call it an Americano . The dessert came and again it was excellent. We sat and talked about next year s travels paid our bill and left. So we arrived a little after 5 and left just before 8. I m trying to imagine how much money they lost because we were there to enjoy each other and a nice meal. Will we go again or recommend this place? That s difficult to say. BTW we re-corked our wine, only had one more glass, the rest went home

Atmosphere is very good, not loud music just everyone is having a good time. And for good reasons, the food is simply amazing. Would not recommend the schrimp starter( Gambas à la plancha), they do not look cooked on a plancha. Most likely a re-use of the ones made for the Paella. Octopus is a must. Food : 5/5

Bocado never disappoints! The service, food and atmosphere are top notch and the staff are some of the best in the business.

Overall a nice place to have a romantic supper, the food is good and service is fine and the staff are friendly. Comparing it to other Spanish restaurants it is a bit more than average and pricier. The first picture is Murcia al Vino, the cheese taste is excellent. The second is the pulpo, It is a must! Each piece is on a little slice of potato, the taste is creamy and rich. The third is tartare de carne, it is fun to have and there is a little kick different that usual restaurants to it, the crispy potato on the bottom make the truffle taste subtle and balance the dish. The last was the Paella de Pato, a lamb paella. The lamb itself was tasty and smooth. The rice was heavier than expected, I guess the rice was cooked with fat of the lamb.

This is my favourite place in Prince Edward County. My mom and I come all the time whenever I visit her. When she s hosting Airbnb guests, she always directs them to Bocado because the food, service and ambience is ALWAYS consistent. If you re in PEC, this is a must-try.

It was delicious! All the dishes chosen were perfect. The service was ordinary but fast. The atmosphere was subdued and the decoration was European chic.

Has Bocado gotten too busy for its own good? Or are they getting too many good reviews that they don t feel like they have to try anymore? It s always been one of my favourite restaurants in the area but the last couple times we ve gone, the service has been mostly mediocre. But this last time? What a huge disappointment. It was a special dinner for a friend s 60th birthday - whose birthday went completely unacknowledged, by the way, an absolute no-no for a restaurant that s supposed to be high caliber. Especially for the amount of money we paid for all of us. And yes, I had mentioned it was a 60th birthday celebration in our reservation as well as when we got there. The tapas plates came fast and furious, almost so fast that we couldn t stop and savour each dish - but that s fine. However the food is being expedited to keep the flow going on a busy weekend night, I get it. But then everything came to a grinding halt. We had to wait over 1 hour for our two paella dishes. That was already frustrating, but what made it worse, we saw two other tables being served their paella who came in well after we did and also placed their order after us. When we asked about our missing dishes, the manager finally came to serve it and wow, talk about the most perfunctory of apologies, to the point where it did not feel genuine. I get that there can be bad nights for staff especially when it s busy, and it s often not the fault of the servers for kitchen mess ups. But a sincere apology and genuine warmth and empathy for our experience goes a long way. They could also have simply comped us our two desserts. Some small token of acknowledgment. But NO. So for me, it s a NO too. Even though the food was delicious as always, it s going to be a while before I go back to celebrate a special occasion at Bocado.

All around a great restaurant. It is a farm to table restaurant that sources the best and freshest local produce. Some ingredients are imported from Spain. This restaurant takes pride in the food it serves and is serious about maintaining quality. From plating to taste to presentation, it was an absolutely enjoyable experience. Worth the two hour drive from Toronto just to dine there.

Came here for an anniversary. The restaurant is clean and has a great atmosphere, service was good and the wait staff are very helpful with menu selections. The food was good but overall was lacking when it came to value. I dont mind spending more for better quality cuts/ items but when the waiter recommended ordering 4-5 dishes per person which I think is a bit ridiculous. If the dishes had maybe %25 more per plate Id give it a 5 star. Was good to try but I wouldnt come back to eat here again I could get 2 really nice steaks dinners per person for what I got here. Its nice to have the variety but frankly the value for the food youre getting just seems really off.

Wow, super authentic Spanish dishes! One of the best meals we have had outside of Spain. The service is exceptional with a great wine list and a really nice vibe throughout the whole establishment. Make it a priority to book early (they are very busy through the summer months) and enjoy this gem!

Was recommended by a friend as the best restaurant in PEC and it did not disappoint. The whole experience was fantastic, we ordered 4-5 small plates + a sharable for 2 people and it was the perfect amount. The Ensalada Verde, Tartare de Carne and Suckling Pig dish were all amazing. Couldnt recommend more highly.

I had a lovely meal here! I enjoyed the tapas style. I would highly recommend the Papas Con Queso, and Chuleton! Also, the asparagus dish was absolutely outstanding. Highly recommend visiting here when you re visiting Prince Edward County!

Food was sooooooo oilyyyy! Bread soaked with oil, zucchini soaked with oil, oil everywhere in huge quantity. No great and I paid 54$ for two tapas and a cappuccino :( Staff was nice though but mediocre food

Each dish of the many that we shared were 1st class in taste, presentation and quality. The service was also 1st class. attentive at the right times and most professional which is rare these days. Can not recommend this restaurant more highly. its my 2nd visit and I will be back!

We had a fantastic dinner at Bocado tonight. Our server Gilan was amazing, he was both friendly and professional and helped us make the best possible selection for our dinner. We had a number of people stop by our table to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, refill our waters, the service really was incredible despite the fact that they were busy. All our dishes were flavourful and cooked perfectly, I think the servings were well worth the price. Super happy to have stopped here and would definitely make the drive out to dine again!

The atmosphere was nice and it was lively. However the food was underwhelming. After seeing a 4.7 star review, I was excited to try this. We ordered 6 tapas, 2 sangrias, and 1 dessert and it came out to about $180. The sangrias weren t served until after the first 2 tapas were served. Sangrias were not amazing but ok. The croquettes were very good. And the tuna was good too. However everything else (octopus, pancetta, beef tartar, and zucchini flowers) were just normal. The experience was just a bunch of appetizers and nothing spanish about it. But at least they tried to do something different. The chocolate mousse with mascarpone dessert was the best thing. I wouldn t go back unfortunately.

The food was good, but it was not great and at this price point ($100+ per person) I expected finer dining. The croquetas filling was good but the coating was cooked to dark brown, which is just wrong and taints the delicate flavour. I noticed that all servings were like this, so it wasnt a mistake. The calamari were just OK and a little chewy. The seafood paella was, again OK, but not authentic and the rice base was way overcooked and too heavily flavoured for the accompanying seafood, which consisted of mussels (excellent), prawns (good) and scallops (overcooked). The chocolate mousse/passion fruit dessert was excellent and, for us, the only part of the meal that could be considered as fine-dining.

Excellent dinner experience. We had the opportunity to live in Europe for 3 years and managed to visit Spain several times. This was like going back to places like Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona and San Sebastian. 1st round was a sampler of pintxos. All were excellent. Our favorites were the sourdough with tomato and tomato with manchego. The Datiles and Papas Con Queso rounded out the top tapas. 2nd round was the seafood paella and 14oz ribeye steak. Steak was tender and flavourful. Just needed a bit of finishing salt perhaps. Paella was very good as well, loaded with seafood but one flavor, not sure exactly what it was, seemed to overwhelm the dish. 3rd round was the chocolate mousse with maracuja. In one word - outstanding, perfect way to finish the meal. A must visit if you are anywhere near this restaurant.

Really loved this restaurant. Service and food top notch! Food was inventive! Packed house on a Sunday night tells you it has a following. We had two aps and then shared a rib eye steak that simply KILLED. Desert was something I havent seen since I was in Merida Mexico! Food

Food was phenomenal, lots of great flavours and textures. Paired very well with the lovely atmosphere. Service was great, attentive and helped with recommendations and suggestions. We arrived around 7:45 and at around 8:50, you could tell that things were wrapping up. All hands are on deck to wind down and clean up, sadly this did kind of affect our service, near the end - nothing to do with the individual who was serving us rather the atmosphere of it. Its almost as if I came in at a retail shop 1hr before close, and the staff started vacuuming while I was browsing while it was 15 mins before close. Still a great vibe, if I had arrived at 6 or even 7, would have gotten 3x5 Stars. Will definitely return to try more.

Bocado is an outstanding restaurant in downtown Picton. We had walked past and decided to stop in for dinner later in the evening, not knowing that it would be one of the most delicious and pleasant dining experiences of our lives. It is a restaurant I would make a dedicated stop to visit, and indeed will now that I know of its existence! The food was perfectly balanced so that each dish was rich but not overwhelming, highlighting the core ingredients of each without getting lost in unnecessary flourishes The cocktail list complemented menu very well, with strong liquor-forward cocktails and a very decent beer and wine list. I would definitely recommend Bocado - even if you are travelling past PEC, it is definitely a destination-worthy place that will reward you with the charming town that surrounds it.

My partner and I had an incredible time at Bocado last time we were in the county. Service was genuine, and warm. The food was outstanding, with so many incredible offerings. Felt like I was back in Spain!

Very rich

Our party of 6 ate from the level III fixed menu. Probably the best meal I have ever had, and it definitely felt reasonably priced for what we received. Every dish was amazing, with a range of intense flavours and textures. We left it up to our server to bring us two of everything on the menu, and it was a good call. Tasty cocktails, too.

New favorite spot in the county. 10/10 meal- food, service, atmosphere all excellent. Croquettes, tomato bread, tuna crudo and seafood paella all phenomenal.

Second time visiting Bocado while staying in the County for the weekend. Our meal did not disappoint and serving staff were very helpful and patient (its Spanish tapas, no ones in a rush). The highlight, which many of the staff were excited about, was the in season asparagus with shaved manchego topped with dry cured Serrano. A few new tapas we havent tried before, and old favs like the tuna and octopus were excellent. Churros to finish werent the best this time around IMO. Hopefully next time well get the paella. Magnificent!

Ive been dying to try this place, but between not being in the area, difficulty getting a table, because I cant figure out when were there, Ive not made it. However, for a Mothers Day dinner, I took my wife, as both of our children arent near, to celebrate the day, as well as our children. And what a celebration it was. Ive always loved Spanish tapas -- I loved them in Spain, and I love them when versions of them wind up in cities I visit, despite not being in Spain. This. Is. An. Amazing. Real. Deal. Its all there -- and close your eyes, and except for the lack of Spanish -- youre somewhere where food takes on yet another dimension of deliciousness. Its all good. We only ordered what we could eat, and were saving the rest of the menu for the next time were there, because nothing disappointed, and everything was excellent. Great service, great value, great food.

This was probably the best dinner experience I have had in a very very long time. We went there with our meal pretty much decided already until they threw in the Countylicious menu. Since it is limited time, We changed our minds and absolutely loved the experience. All seven dishes that my wife and I shared were beautiful, delicious, and all the flavours were well balanced and creative. Our server Carly, was absolutely lovely, incredibly helpful, and really helped enhance our experience. I cant say enough about this experience and we cant wait to go back.

Food quality

Drove from Toronto just to eat here and it was totally worth the trip! On our ride back we reviewed the menu and made a list of what we ll order the next time. The food was beyond excellent! Everything was cooked to perfection. I ve eaten a lot of Spanish tapas and Bocado s take on the classics was right up there with the best. The croquetas were a favourite and we wish there had been double or triple the amount on the plate. We re ordering two next time. The octopus was cooked to perfection! The patatas bravas with the fried egg and ham were such an amazing and satisfying take on the classic! And my mom loved the cochinillo which was also tender and melted in your mouth. When dessert came around we had the Florones and churro. Both excellent but my mom said about the churro that she couldn t remember the last time she had eaten anything that delicious. And she s had her share of churros in her life! The service was beyond excellent. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. They welcomed us with a smile and they were extremely flexible deconstructing some of their dishes for my Mom who is an extremely picky eater. The perfect evening all around! Wheelchair accessibility: It s on the ground floor and there s a ramp. If you re large, the booths don t have fixed tables so it s easy to move the table and fit comfortably.

Excellent and creative food. Staff was very personable and had great attention to detail. My only complaint (as with many modern restaurants) was the noise level. It wasnt off the charts but between background music and hard acoustic walls it was a little difficult to chat with my wife seated right across from me. Either way will definitely be going back again

We have eaten here three times over the past few months. Top notch service and food. I am very impressed that Picton has a restaurant of this stature. Some of the best food I have eaten anywhere in the world, and only five minutes from home! Such unique and well planned out dishes. Incredible attention to detail in regards to the ingredients. If youre looking for a very unique food experience in the county it does not get any better than Bocado.

Food was excellent and service was superb. We were a group of 4 on a Friday evening during the off season. We had a hard time choosing our favorite dishes. We were told by our concierge to try the octopus (we would not have otherwise) and the tuna and the stuffed zucchini blossoms. The first 2 were amazing with sauces you wanted to lick the plate clean! The blossoms were not in season. We also loved the bacon wrapped dates, the ribeye (cooked to perfection medium rare). We thought our mussel dish had too many empty shells but some were found on the bottom or doubled up in other shells so hard to be sure. But any complaint was gone when they happily brought us some toasted sour dough bread to sop up the amazing sauce. The wine list was very good. Staff were very engaging and entertaining. We will be back when zucchini blossoms are in season! I would suggest you ask for a basket of sour dough bread to clean up all the sauces and the jus from the rib eye. Sorry we were too busy eating to take photos but every dish was beautifully presented.

Was one of the best meals of my life. Me and family had been recommended by the Royal hotel to grab a meal here. We were given the most amazing 5 course meal. We experienced a true culinary experience. The staff were excellent, we even got to meet the chef himself. I recommend to anyone to give this place a shot you will not regret it.

Excellent family time at Bocado, very good tapas and paella. Our server also recommended a very good Spanish wine. Be careful with the budget though; we quickly reach $100 per person, for relatively small quantities. But we don t regret our time at Bocado!

Cute little restaurant with great tasting tapas and paella! Though we found the food to have a few flaws, our waiter was kind enough to let us try a dessert free of charge which were were very happy about! :) We liked the flavor of the wild forged mushrooms but it was slightly too salty and vinegary for our liking. The scallops and shrimp in the seafood paella was perfectly cooked we just wished that the rice was not as crisped or burnt. Again, very good food maybe we re just picky eaters but we did end up finishing everything regardless!

I absolutely adore this spot! my ONLY slight criticism would be that there used to be more vegetarian/vegan options in the past, but now you lose the integrity of most dishes if you need to modify them.

One of our favourites in PEC. Such a foodie place but not pretentious. Best service, amazing food and such a beautiful setting. The servers (we went twice during the trip- Gill and Jeremy) were fantastic and so enthusiastic about the food. Found some new favourites. The paella, atun and croquettes are to die for. Appreciate that they also have really cool non alcoholic options on their drinks menu.

It was our first time trying this county gem and certainly wont be our last. The food was excellent. We ordered several different tapas and a large plate to share and each one was top notch. We even ordered seconds of one of them because it was that good. Our server was friendly, attentive and offered many helpful suggestions. Cant wait to come back!

The service was wonderful; our server helped us navigate a number of dietary restrictions and allergies, while still being able to share as a group. The decor was beautiful and the atmosphere was fun but not too loud to hold a conversation at the table. The pan con tomate was absolutely delicious and a stand out for us, despite its simplicity, the quality of ingredients was wonderful. I would note that it would be difficult to eat a full meal here as a lacto-ovo vegetarian, but as a pescetarian there were enough seafood options that I was satisfied
