I started years ago at northern palace on the hart hwy , it was always the place I ordered from China taste aint got nothing compared to the palaces , since moving from the hart hwy into town I decided to give fortune palace a try , and Im so glad I did still the best Chinese food in town highly recommend its always good and the sliced barbeque pork is perfect ,

So very disappointed with the meal.a dinner for 2 and a lettuce wrap and add on 2 egg roll 2 spring roll came to over $95. The lettuce wrap that was $25 consistented of basically Celery with a few dry noodles and chinese bacon sprinkled in. The spring rolls were soggy the food lacked flavor. Disappointed in the meal. Wont order from there again.

I recently visited this charming eatery with the best chicken chow mein and sweet and sour pork Ive had in a while. The ambiance was inviting, and the service was genuinely warm and attentive.

I had a delightful meal at this restaurant. The sweet and sour pork was perfectly balanced and delicious, and the chow mein was full of flavor. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Just had dinner at this place in the city and their sweet and sour pork? mouthwatering, seriously, its a must-try. and the wonton soup? so comforting. The ambiance was laid-back, and the crew was so welcoming

Reason for low rating is when we went to had yo pay 5% for using a card to pay with and 25 each take out dish. Not sure we will go back, because it takes away from waitress tips in the long run

I ordered takeout. And drove home. My mistake. They messed up the order. Then they took 1 hour to deliver the right food/ other half the order...14min /11km drive.... not a good experience for a first time customer... didnt even offer to give the tip back.

The first time we went, the food was FRESH and delicious. The service was great. The second time we went, the food did not taste great. The rice was dry, and the BBQ pork that was in the wonton and that was in the chow mein had a bit of a sour taste to it. The special chow mein also tasted off, with a bit of a sour taste to it. We probably wont go for a while, and then well give it a shot again. Hopefully, next time, its as fresh as the first time we ate at Fortune Palace.

Tried to order myself a nice little dinner, somehow after all their surcharges.. my nice $16 meal became $35 plus taxes and driver tip. Luckily I cancelled that. Will not order there ever again.

Wheelchair accessibility: This place is great for wheelchairs . The handicap bathroom was designed for wheelchairs with the large door and a large bathroom. They had disabled people in mind when they built this restaurant.

Called restaurant to Order dinner for 3 girl could berry speak English from an Asian country. Sayd dinner was Seventeen Dollars Thats what I clearly understood. When I got there was it was over 75.00 I asked for 2 lemon slices and was told I would have to pay more for that. I said forget it and I walked out. She forgot to pronounce the N. and you want to charge me 1.50 for a quarter of a lemon for a 75.00 BILL rip off go somewhere else. J

We had top quality food served fresh. Very large portions. The staff was extremely friendly and gave us prompt service. I highly recommend you eat here.

Fortune Palace always has excellent tasting Chinese food, and the atmosphere in December is nice as they have a Christmas tree up, in addition to their usual Chinese decorations. The service was also good. However, we were overcharged for some of our meals, as every plate was charged at $18.95 when some of the combo dishes we ordered were less than that on the menu. We said something to the server, but our complaint went unacknowledged. Other than that, everything was good Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian options on the menu, including vegetable chop suey and plain chow mein Dietary restrictions: They do have a few menu items that are gluten free. A member of party is gluten free, and she eats at Fortune Palace everytime shes in town. Parking: If the restaurant is veey busy, the parking lot can be tight Otherwise, its good. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but the entrance to one of the private rooms is a tight squeeze for motorized wheelchair users.

Very minimal vegetarian combination meals and will not substitute. If you want anything other than plain rice you are forced to pay for a full item. Everything was flavorless, veggies were raw and tiny egg rolls. If you want good tasting food and willing to accommodate, go to Hart Wheel its worth it!

Thank god for this place, one of my favorite things to have when I come back for the Holidays was China Sail, happy this place is the same food

I cannot believe what we received this evening. The WT soup has an after taste and was luke warm. If I wanted BBQ pork and vegetables in my soup I would have asked for it. The HG Pk was over cooked, sauce had separated. BfCM tasteless, noodles were slimy, and the Lg Ch FR, the rice was dried out and flavorless . Certainly was a waste of $65.00.

My favourite Chinese in town, food quality is pretty consistent. Staff is friendly, quick service. Had one bad dine in experience, considering I ve been eating at this establishment since 1999-2000 not a bad track record.

Wouldnt even give it a star. I dont know what that was but it definitely was not Chinese food, waste of over $100. That was disgusting and will never go again. The ginger beef was definitely not ginger beef and was 90% onion, the chicken Chow Mein was mainly bean sprouts and had no flavor, sweet and sour was grisel and bland, the won ton soup was saw dusty, the pasta was not soft and the meat had an odd taste. honey garlic chicken was weird. The only thing that was some what decent was the pork fried rice. Will stick with Famous Wok, seems like theyre the only real Chinese food in PG

Best Chinese in town!

We stopped in on our way to the airport back to Vancouver and pleasantly surprised how delicious this place was! We got the vegetable chow mein, pork dumplings, and pork and shrimp fried rice. So yummy, we even took take out for the plane :) Aesthetic inside could be a bit nicer but the place is very quick and clean! Great find.

We went here with our family after a funeral and there was about 40 of us. They are so efficient there! We didnt wait long for food and refills kept coming. Large portions even for lunch sizes. Super impressed!

Ordered a combo for one and it was enough for 2 dinners! A tad bit salty. Did not need to add soy sauce. Parking: Very small parking lot. Not a lot of space.

Very bad food! Asked if I needed cutlery , said yes please and received none. Ate with my fingers as was in a hotel. Had my wedding reception here on September 17th the staff were very accommodating the food was delicious and after the event was even given a present from the staff cant thank them enough for the wonderful experience the manager Leah was a joy to work with throughout the entire experience.

Haven t eaten here in years and all I can t say is I won t be back, nasty, the food had zero taste the dishes were all mixed together, the chicken wings looked and smelt burnt.

There food nasty saw them put in garbage cans to defrost there food and the delivery driver makes the wonton soup with a microwave and hot broth wontons are pickled and tossed in microwave the meats left to sit beside garbage cans so go ahead eat there horrible food

SS tasted like bbq pork not SS PORK. Noodles were mushy and tasteless and chicken was over cooked and a little crunchy.

Called ahead said 45 min then arrived they checked in my order 3 times but it was missed after 2 hours waiting I asked for my money back. They made me wait and tried saying they could not refund but did. I watched 3 other people get refunds for missed orders as well. Be careful they will miss your order say they check on it but its not being looked after.

Very good dimsum lunch. We had the dimsum lunch for 3 and we had the beef ginger chowmein, fish cod with steamed rice (good portion). We took home the leftover and good for dinner as well. :)

I just picked up my family order and got quite the shock as it was way more than I expected. I was told that they dont go by this website.... I said then why do you have it up when your prices are considerably higher or at least update it. They did not know. Now i love their food and service but this is false advertising and this website should be taken down.

Chinese food is chinese food here in BC. Tastes the same everywhere.

Much like any Chinese restaurant in Prince George youre not going to get much authentic cuisine but rather the North American, whitewashed style. Its good for that style, just not my tastes. Tried the dim sum. Standard for not made in kitchen but ordered in bulk. Its the only dim sum available in Prince George that Ive found.

Was didn t get my order right and Refused To fix it all round bad service

!!!!!! We paid for an item and they didnt deliver it and when we called to get our paid for item they refused!!!!! Hair in our food and it arrived cold... brutal for $130 Atrocious customer service!!!! We ordered sweet and sour pork and instead they brought us sweet and sour sauce without the pork balls when we called and said we wanted the pork we ordered they refused to fix their mishap even though we had paid for it. We ordered from here every Thursday and Saturday night it was our favorite restaurant :( its a shame that we will have to give our business to another establishment.

It gets 2 stars, because we literally assumed we were going to get food poisoning, thankfully didn t. Not sure if they had a bad day in the kitchen, but easily the worst Chinese restaurant we have ever eaten at.

Dim Sum. Mediocre at best. Sticky rice was overcooked with no goodies in it. Just some ground beef. But no egg, pork or anything else. Other items so so but mostly very bland. Service good. Other diners Chinese food looked good, just stay away from the dim sum menu.

Honestly one of the better Chinese restaurants in town. Good and friendly service! Food is tasty and I have yet to have a bad experience in my orders for the last few years!

Food was terrible . Prawns tasted off SOUR. Noodles were dry and bland. Salt was empty and asked for more but didnt receive. Another customer arrived after us and received his order before us coffee was burnt. Jas the waitress was amazing . Company I work for orders takeout from fortune palace at least twice a month for 25 to 30 people and the food is great. I highly recommend not to dine in

Food is OK but not great. Prices are moderate and the store needs a renovation asap. The response the owner wrote was very much genuine so I have updated this review to 5 stars as he/she has given some information into a possible renovation next year, that is great news. I wasnt nt expected to meet that good Chinese restaurant. They have westernized Chinese and also authentic Chinese too. Prawns are plump and beef is tender. I like it. We ordered beef with green bell pepper, seafood chow mein and ma po tofu. My favourite is seafood chow mein. Ma Po tofu needs more spicy.

Used to be really good. But food quality has gone downhill the last couple of times. Average at best Rather bland chow mein, seemed like frozen veggies for chop suey? The seeet and sour pork was just ok and the prawn batter was just not good. Service is always friendly and efficient. Prices have gone up like everywhere else these days, but it would be nice if the food quality was the same as it was in the past.

The sweet and sour pork tasted like road kill. Texture was more like hoof and bone. Complained about it and was offered a replacement. Ha! Ha! Ha! Are you serious? Rest was below par. If you want GOOD Chinese food you should taste mine!

I came as a friends +1 to a work gathering at Fortune Palace. We tried several dishes, all of which were delicious. The service was great, and everyone was very polite.

I ordered veggie chow mein. I got what looked like veggie chop suet. The veggies were raw. When I took them off the chow mein the chow mein was floating, literally, in oil. I called the waitress over to send it back and she actually gave me attitude. She didn t apologize or offer to make it right. Will never eat there again!

Take out wasnt what it used to be I had chopsuey and fried rice the blend of vegetables was completely a hash Hamble if vegetables could be at war this is what it would taste like you need the old cheif back NOW !!!!!!

Some of the order was good but the garlic pork was mostly ketchup and sweet and sour sauce yet no garlic. when I asked the waitress about the garlic, she offered to add onion. A new dish would have been nice. Whos this chair for in the mens room? am I supposed to bring a someone with me or was the bathroom attendant not working?

This place is awsome, we were looking for Chinese food and dine in service and we thought about this place last for some reason. Service was excellent and the food was worth the wait because the vegetables were so fresh in the chop suey and the chicken balls were freshly made with BIG chunks of chicken breast and light batter and the chow mein and rice were spot on. Good service good food and an oasis on a hot day with the air conditioning I look forward to my next visit here

Great service and food

The garlic ribs were okay, but too salty. The spring rolls were vegan, slimy and undercooked, the chow mein was all cut down to 1 lengths, tasted like dollar-store chicken boulion and was topped with sliced lunch meat, and the ginger beef wasnt ginger beef. It was stringy slices of lean beef overcooked, and doused with ginger powder. Nasty all around... guess all the good reviews were historical. This wasnt cheap.

Edit: I can provide feedback for my experience and food. Ive updated my rating from a 2 to 3 for your commitment to improve. I only ordered the chicken chow mein for dine in but the chicken was cold, plain, and salty (for my tastes). There were extremely little vegetables in the chow mein and would have liked some sauce on the chicken and some small amount of mixed veggies in the chow mein. The chow mein itself was good. The entire dish, including the noodles, was less than warm.

The number 1 place for Chinese food in all of Northern British Columbia. Ever get a chance to come here eat here.

Will never order from this place, Iv ordered from them in the past and was very disappointed then and for some strange reason we ordered and they gave us the wrong order so had to drive across town to return it and told them we dont want our order anymore just refund our cash, when I arrived they tried to blame me for ruining the food, I said excuse me you gave me the wrong order. One thing I find about Fortune Palace is theyre getting very good at apoligizing, how about making better food and not making mistakes, there are no excuses in the restaurant busines. unfortunately Palace I cant post NO STARS so no business from me.

Best Chinese food in town

We order from here often... we live beyond the delivery border so we order ahead for a specific time and everytime our food is hot and ready when we get there. The food is pretty great!

Went here on August 28th. Ordered a small wonton and their #8 meal which included chicken chow mein, sweet & sour pork, vegetable chop suey and deep fried prawns. The soup was hot and very good and the meal was served shortly after. Loved that the vegetables were crisp but the prawns had more breading then I like but were delicious.

Great food - best westernized version of Chinese food in PG. I like that they undersalt their items, as the food goes very well with soy sauce. The veggies are still crunchy and not over steamed. We started order from Fortune Palace last year and they are now our go-to! Phone them directly instead of using Skip or Doordash, so they dont lose 20% of their profits! Thanks for the delicious meals!

I ordered a no 14 the prawns were doey chow main was mushy chop suey was raw and no sauce . The other order did not contain the sweet and sour pork i ordered it did have the rice and chowmein and vegtables i didnt want . Very dissappointing.

Fresh food even near the end of their working day. Delicious crisp veggies, great chow mein, somehow their lemon chicken always stays crunchy despite being doused in that amazing sauce. Spicy prawns are fantastic as well, the batter is light and the peppers and spices are flavourful. They never forget to thank you for coming in either. Im fine with have a good one but the staff really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome here.

Dont pay attention to any of the poor reviews on here, this place has excellent food and we will definitely be back for more. Veggies fresh and crispy, seafood was cooked to perfection and the noodles were perfect. Take out was perfect thanks.
