It was my first time and I ordered a teriyaki meal on the recommendation of the staff. It was delicious. I was impressed by the quick and friendly service of their staff. My order was around 15 dollars but totally worth it.
Not sure why this place has such a bad rep? I ordered online and picked up in store today. I came at the scheduled time and my food was ready on the counter when I walked it. I ordered the $10 sushi-licious combo. Of course you shouldn't expect michelin star quality, but the ingredients were fresh and I was very impressed with my order for the price. Way better than grocery store sushi :)
Never again. 50 bucks for garbage. Nothing, 0 integrity in their service nor the food they make. Ate in, rice bowl was almost warm. Must’ve pulled it from the fridge and sat on it for a min. Just cold workers that dgaf. Better off going to small sushi businesses that have good culture and integrity.
One of the best places in Prince George to enjoy fresh and delicious food. Service is excellent as staff is very polite and welcoming. Moreover, place is always neat and clean whenever I visit there. I recommend everyone to visit there to enjoy Japanese food especially chicken bowl.

This location was out of brown rice, and made my order with white, had they let me know before leaving that would have been fine. However nothing was mentioned, and when I went back in to have the order fixed I was told they were out, and one staff member argued with me saying I *needed to let them know if I wanted brown* I did. Specifically when I selected brown rice as an option when ordering online. When I asked for a refund (and returned the food) the staff doubled down on telling me I was wrong etc etc. A simple heads.up when I picked up would have been amazing, or even if they hadn't argued with me. A really disappointing experience at this location.
The food here was SO BAD it actually made us laugh, the rice was so over cooked it was more the consistency of paste leaving all the food feeling, not to mention the micro amount of veggies in the rolls, the noodles were somehow soggy and crunchy leaving them inedible, which is all just to say you couldn't pay me to eat here again. Update: we all got food poisoning and were sick the whole next day... Never again will I trust this location
A quick fix for basic sushi craving. Vegetarian options: They have avocado and cucumber rolls and more. Parking: Free parking lot shared with a shopping centre

They show open to 10:00pm. Arrived at 9:45pm and were told they closed the grill and can not serve. Yet the open sign remained on. If your hours are to 10 then you serve till 10.

Food is always cooked fresh, glowing service and rarely busy
Everything except the sushi is great. The sushi is sometimes in too small portions. If you want the best teriyaki you can even take home some of that teriyaki sauce in a bottle.
Owners need to re-paint walls, its one thing to put drywall filler in the holes but it shouldnt take months after to put a fresh coat of paint. It really does bring down the atmosphere and shows how cheap the ownership is. I havent tried anything other than the Sukiyaki Beef and its always tastes great which is the only reason I keep going back every few months. The service could definitely be better as even when they arent that busy you have to wait 15 minutes.
Well is like seriously one of the worst restaurants in the city to get your order right for delivery. Last time they completely gave me the wrong order and it contained things that I m allergic to so I couldn t even eat it and they basically didn t even care when I called to tell them . This time they forgot an item for my bento box. Don t waste your money ordering from this place.
I really enjoy the food quality of Edo Japan restaurant in college heights and they have great vegetable options. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is really nice. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Accidentally ordered a kids meal but meant to order the regular adult teriyaki meal and didn t realize until 5-10 mins after and the kind ladies up front corrected! So grateful thank you kindly Vegetarian options: Great options for vegetarians and vegans

Pretty typical franchise affair. Perfectly fine food but nothing in particular to write home about. Good central location to other stores, parking can be tough because of this, however. Parking: Shared parking with rest of stores.

Waited 5 min to order! Fine there s was someone ahead of us. The people who ordered before us finished their meal before we even got ours. Slowest service ever. It s like they all took their break at the same time!!! Not sure if we ll be back.

Took over 20 mins for 1 meal. There was only one person on the grill. 2 people were standing around while we waited.
I waited 25 minutes for my order. It was ready 15 minutes before they would let me have my order. I watched it sit there 15 minutes.

We had California sushi Kappa sushi Tuna sushi also but i dint enjoy the food at all i felt like they are not freshly made like after we order They are like pre prepared n frozen i didn t enjoyed it at all 4/10
GREAT take-out with excellent service. An the taste and aroma of the dishes once we got them home was fantastic. I will definitely go back. Parking: Parking stalls are a nice size and there are plenty of them, so its easy to park, no matter the size of your vehicle.

The food was freshly cooked and tasty. Staff were friendly enough, but not overly so. Both the dining and bathroom area were clean. The store was exceptionally quiet while I was there. No complaints but me, but nothing struck me as extra special, either.
I ordered edamame beans for extra veggies. They were dreadful! They were very chewy instead of crisp. Even my pup who loves these, couldnt chew them. The Bento box noodles were undercooked and cold. Disappointed to say the least.
Staff are friendly and the place is clean but the Avacado in my sushi was rock hard and unripe. Even if this place is just fast food they should know better than that

Used to frequent this Edo weekly, but I cant leave a good review anymore. The quality has severely dropped over the last few months and its my understanding that there is a relatively new owner. I worked at the other location in town for 5 years, so I know what to expect when ordering. Its standard now at this location to receive old, dry rice mixed in with your fresh rice, and portions sizes are very inconsistent. I order the same thing every time and its always a different size. Its unfortunate that if I want Edo now that I need to go out of my way to the other location, but I cant justify purchasing from this location anymore.
Food is good but Very slow service
Went here today for lunch with my partner while he was on his break. The woman working the register told me she would be with me in a moment when it was my turn to order and continued her conversation with the cook in front of me for at least 3 to 4 minutes before taking my order as I stood there awkwardly waiting. We were on a time limit and the food took a while to cook so I was pretty disappointed by this.
Been here now twice and I m always satisfied about my Bento boxes. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Literally the worst sushi Ive ever had. My dogs wouldnt even eat it. Think of your worst sushi experience youve had to date and somehow, this place will make it seem like fine dining.
If you gave me all of the ingredients, I would seriously have a hard time making a worse sushi. It was soggy yet so dry its hard to swallow. 2 stars since I recommend that you try it. It will establish the bottom of your scale for sushi quality, it will make you laugh and share a funny moment with whoever you try it with. Impressively bad food.

The food i got from it, while i ordered from skip the dishes. The sushi i got was dry, food was super OLD. DONT order from this edo, instead goto the Edo Japan in the pine centre mall, they have fresh sources of food coming in.

Always a hot mess, the manager rarely wears his mask, the employees are rude and orders tend to be cold. Honestly, I d suggest going to the mall location if you HAVE to have Edo. Sorry dude.
All of the food tasted terrible and had a wet/slimy texture and, as much as I hate wasting food, this went straight in the garbage after a few bites. The staff told me they did not have yam rolls (on the menu posted next to the cash register) and not only did the order not come with any soy sauce at all, but the 8 piece rolls came with 6 pieces. We are never coming here again and would encourage anyone hoping to be able to enjoy their sushi to find somewhere else instead.

The teller lady had her mask below her nose, she was touching her face and hair as she was bagging our food and napkins without gloves. She served a guest at the front till again without gloves or any sort of disinfecting between orders as she finished getting our order finished. No protective protocol. NOT covid friendly do NOT recommend. :(
The food might be good but the customer service is disaster. They do not treat the delivery driver well and behave very rude with them.

Was not impressed by this place. I ve been to Japanese restaurants all over the province and I wouldn t rank this one high on the list. Bad value - the California roll and beef roll were only 4 small average quality pieces and for the price most places would give 6 or 8 of that size. The yakisoba didn t come with the standard noodles but more of the thicker udon kind. And the meat was low quality shredded style instead of actual cuts. Won t be trying this place again. Better bang for buck and quality elsewhere.

Service was fast and friendly. Food was ok, not great. Bathroom and dining area were both quite dirty with dusty, grime and other unknown substances on the walls, tables, floors and windows. The food court at the mall (where the other edo is) is much cleaner
I visit here regularly, good food, friendly service. But today the sushi was as if it was left on the counter all day. As for the cleanliness of the restaurant. It was the worst I ve ever seen it. Sticky liquid all over the floor all around the dining area. Makes you think the owner is out of town.

The place is DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY. Look at the handle of the front door, hasn t been cleaned ever. Drip marks on every chair, bench and counter. Every square inch of this place is sticky. Grime everywhere. Bathrooms are nasty. The soy sauce and hot sauce bottles were so gross I used a napkin to touch them. Can only IMAGINE what the kitchen is like. The staff were sitting out front in the dining room on their phones. Time to lean you got time to clean lol. Puke! Honestly can t beleive I just put that food in me! Never again. Grab a mop and get to er!

I come here often as it s close to my house and I enjoy edo. Unfortunately this restaurant is subpar to the rest of the edo restaurants in Prince George and anywhere else I have been. They give tiny portions of meat and massive portions of everything else. The Edo in the mall is much better and will not be eating at this college heights location anymore
