AMAZING SERVICE ! 😀 I just stopped in for lunch to order some takeout on the Holiday Monday, they told me unfortunately they were too busy to have my food ready in 15 mins as it was the lunch rush, But after a quick check.witu the kitchen they had my lunch ready in less then 10 minutes. Best chicken Biryani I have ever had is the cherry on-top. Thanks 👍
I ate here a few times, and it wasn't too bad. It's not the best, but it's not too bad either. The dishes were good but not something that I would get overly excited about either. Service varied as well was good at times but not always.
Very Delicious and fair price must try yummy Try is Twice and will order it again
Most probably this is the only Halal restaurant of Prince George. Food quality and prices are great with excellent customer service. Ambience is great. Conveniently located close to all the major hotels in Prince George.
1. Delicious Food: My experience dining at Karim Indian Cuisine was nothing short of delightful. The menu boasts a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes, each bursting with flavor and expertly prepared using high-quality ingredients. From the aromatic curries to the tantalizing tandoori specialties, every dish exceeded my expectations and left me craving for more. 2. Fast Service: One of the standout features of Karim Indian Cuisine is the prompt and efficient service provided by the staff. Despite the restaurant's popularity, my orders were promptly taken, and the food was served in a timely manner. The attentive waitstaff ensured that my dining experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. 3. Friendly Staff: The staff at Karim Indian Cuisine are not only efficient but also incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate any special requests and ensure that I felt valued as a customer. Overall, my dining experience at Karim Indian Cuisine in Prince George was outstanding. With delicious food, fast service, and friendly staff, it's no wonder this restaurant is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. I highly recommend Karim Indian Cuisine to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Indian dining experience.
Quiet place. The samosas are the best bang for your buck. The Mango chicken came with a lot of sauce for the meat. So there's plenty for dipping your Naan in later. You can choose your spice level, the maximum really builds up after a few bites
Well this was my 2nd time visiting Karim Indian Cuisine. I ordered Special Choley Bhature and Chickem Tikka for take out. (To the owner. Next time please put napkins and utensils in the bag) Have a look at the picture to see what you get for ($9.99 great price) What a great deal. It’s the perfect lunch or even great dinner with adding an appetizer Chicken Tikka ($12.99 great price)the second photo. Choley and Bhauure were very tasty with the Mix Raita(Yogurt) pickle char(spicy) and raw onions is a great touch. Chicken Tikka with bell peppers and onions. The chicken was cooked in the Tandoor and cooked perfect. It was not dry because it’s wasn’t over cooked. Great job Chef. Funny thing is I was sending photos about my lunch to my family during lunch hour because I was downtown in Prince George doing a GLP driving course. 8 of my family members went for dinner here tonight. If you are visiting my great city of 44 years and want good Indian food at very good prices visit Karim Indian Cuisine.
First time eating here. I had Samosas Chole for lunch. Asked for spicy. It’s was perfect. Good tasting Chole and good portion size for $8.50. Great lunch. I’ll be back to try something new.
Was a good spot but might have been closed now. Tried calling for update but doesnt connect
Great food
Really good food and service friendly staff
There food potions have been reduced.
Great food. Fast and Fresh
Great food and fast service. Very reasonably priced
Surprisingly good food and authentic, delicious.
A nice restaurant which serves good quality Indian cuisine options for a reasonable price. As an Indian, I loved every item they served and highly satisfied with every order from here!
We dined in recently, and the food was disappointing it tasted sour and seemed old.
I went to this restaurant with my family when i tried the food it doesn t taste fresh and felt like sour taste of dal makhni and kadahi paneer. Garlic naan were also not fresh.
Overpriced, small quantities and I can cook a better curry with my eyes closed
Really enjoyed the mango chicken and coconut chicken.. highly recommend it
Delicious food, very tender chicken, and flavourful rice, with the right amount of spices!
Best chole bhature in town
Overall good experience Not like last spring but still good thought. Halal food is an advantage. Food : 4/5
I usually go there to eat and always had excellent service and staff and very fast service highly recommended to all
Amazing food, a balance of spices and masalas in every dish at a really good price. Every time I dine in they suggest the best combos in town. Healthy and clean food with traditional condiments alongside too. The right amount of nutritious value in every bite.
Awesome experience. expectional hygenie protocols
Good Food with awesome customer service. They treated as their friends.
Excellent food Good taste Most importantly price is very reasonable Kid-friendliness: Great for kids too as we order Puri at dinner time as my son loves puri and they provided even it was dinner time
It was amazing the food was very nice remind me of Indian taste. Thanks tanveer for wonderful food and Ruby for the service. Food
Well well well Vancouver and Toronto and visiting Montreal has its obvious foodie / connoisseur dining favorites but this place that I have come to find in the city of Prince George has so far out of all the Indian cuisine that I have tried including my neighbor Danushs mothers cooking from my days before my teens , couldnt get to taste and resonate this pleasantly in my brain fighting with my eyes telling that I need more .....will the kids be angry if I ate there leftovers...well I already ate them and they cant be as bad as i am happy that I did .... leftovers. Yep I got full there and am full again 60 bucks for family of four best deal and meal ......... Butter chicken,Coconut rice, coconut chicken , spinach paneer naan......yes ,yes and yes please
They sell stale, fungle foods , if some customer came for dine in and their left food like if they order curd, owner keep the left over curd and put in the same container and than again he sell. Its real , its not fake comment
Great value! Samosas and naan were perfect. Butter chicken is a little sweeter than other places but still very good. They included a free dessert which was a nice surprise. Will be back again!
Ordered a veggie samosa and hala noodles. Super tasty ready in 20 mins for pickup
Ordered medium spicy butter chicken and it was mild and too tomato tasting. The chana masala was too spicy and the chick peas were stiff like they hadnt softened or absorbed the sauce. Service was so-so. Nice decor and good location. Food came quickly.
Dietary restrictions: is good food
No flavour in the butter chicken curry. More like pasta sauce. Not a lot of real reviews here.
Rude front staff, lack of communication skills and pathetic food. Chef has no clue what is a butter chicken and how its prepared. Amateur chef. Would never recommend this unhealthy restaurant.
I ordered momos and a mango shake, momos are FALSELY ADVERTISED. They were defiantly store bought chicken gyoza. I ve had a mango lassis and that was NOT what I remember it being. I would not call this authentic. Waste of money I could ve made this myself in 5 minutes.
I ordered through skip the dishes, but the food was so bad it caused reaction to throat whoever ate chole bhature, heard a lot hood things but guess what, its just wastage of money and health. Called to complain and the staff was blaming each other by saying I was off that day someone else was working so I don t know how they manage everything if they don t accept the mistake. Never going to order again and recommended others as well to not.
Tried this restaurant for the first time today, it was a terrible let down. The quality is so horrible. The butter chicken sauce is just Campbells tomato soup, theres very little spices, depth or anything that makes butter chicken unique or authentic. They literally microwaved the chicken, it was hard and rubbery, Ive never had chicken like this before, it was like eating erasers. The naan was tasty as least, but didnt make up for the rest. Unfortunately the worst Indian food in town, the quality was embarrassing. Ive never had chicken this bad before. My hubby and I have been feeling sick for hours from it, this never happens with the others in town. I suspect microwaving chicken isnt exactly safe
I have ordered food today from doordash dal makhni was not up to mark and lassi was missing and i asked driver too he said he never received any drink i think staff is just so negligent
I got butter chicken from here and it was definitely not for human nor animal consumption. The chicken is unseasoned. The sauce is unseasoned. It tastes like a lady named Sharon made it. It was like campbells tomato soup and some chicken. If you don t want to go to work the next day, eat here.
Excellent food and the only restaurant in price George with halal food
Mix veg was great.
I guarantee you wont be dissatisfied, this restaurant makes amazing food . Top notch service and the spices are tailored to your preferences. Try it out :)
Awesome Indian Food here... love it
Ordered chicken kabab n spinach naan so tasty.. one of the best kabab i have ever tried in canada including surrey restaurants
Food was too oily. Not recommended.
Food tastes really good even more than I expected. And staff members are also very friendly and interactive. Vegetarian options: A variety of Indian veg food was available.
Awesome food and service
Service was awful! Food was good. Server litterly came up just staring at us. No hello no nothing. Super awkward. No drinks were offered had to call her over whenever we needed anything. Never checked on us. Forgot part of the order which took half way through the meal for her to come out of the back to inquire about where it was. Got up to pay didnt even receive a bill or question how I was paying just had the debt machine pushed in my face. I think she may have said 3 words to us the whole time we were in the establishment. We didnt even get menus. Just got up and grabbed the paper ones at the entrance. Worst service I think Ive ever received for a dine in restaurant. 100% will not be returning. They need a brighter face for front of house staff.
the goat was excellent!
Food is good and feel like healthy and fresh
Tried them tonight and was amazed! There tandoori chicken wings are amazing! Will be ordering again for sure!
One of the best restaurant in Prince George. Last night, I visited with my friends and everything was perfect.
Bad taste , we got sick and vomited after the food . We asked why the paratha was burnt and black they said its suppose to this colour. My whole plate was covered with black burnt food
The food is very yummy and pranthas are really good. The staff is very friendly and good service
Food is good. Ambience also great. But staff needs to work alot on customer service and menu should be segregated according to meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner & timings for serving specific food. Thanks.
Karim is one of my favourite Indian Restaurants! The food is top notch! I find myself wanting to try everything on their menu. Karim has something for everyone. The food has just enough spice to add flavor to their dishes without ruining the food, a well deserved 5 stars
Food Quality: Average, almost everything has same flavour! Worst butter chicken ever, like chicken in tomato gravy!! Chicken tikka masala was very blunt, chicken was not grilled at all. Chicken wings and beef kabab was good. Hakka noodles was soupy. I have never tasted hakka noodles like that. Food Quantity: Again, very poor. Gravy items were like a pond with hardly found meat pieces. I have been there for three times now. Overall, did not have satisfactory experience
Delicious! Best Palak paneer in town!
Wonderful Experience
Delicious food , good service
This is my favourite place now I love there food and customer service taste is super good Can eat it daily
Very delicious food and fast polite service, love this place and the food, highly recommend :)
Neat place and Excellent service
needs to work a lot on customer service. The tables were dirty and there was no efforts to clean it. We didnt even get a proper greeting . Such a bad service provided by the afternoon server.
Delicious food
Nice place to eat with family. Love the food
Fast, friendly service and very delicious food!
Service was fast, food was fresh and very flavorful. staff was pleasant and helpful. Definitely going to be in our rotation for eating out!
Absolutely love this place!! Best Indian food in town. And always great customer service
Great customer service. Got the wrong order through skip one time, they reimbursed me with the whole order for next time. Happy customer :)
We just tried the Biriyani!! It s terrible! I ever felt the Indian taste and atmosphere over here!! I m very sorry for the negative response. But I experienced the true.
Food was fantastic.
One of the Best restaurants in PG. You wont regret your visit..
The butter chicken had way too much sugar in it. And my girlfriend and I got violently I ll a few hours after eating there
Great customer service
The place and food is awesome but as per customer service, she is really good with handling but she is only one to greet, take order, serve food, take payments, handling and processing online orders, while the place is real busy. Need to hire more people
Having lunch at this place today. Food at this restaurant is excellent. I appreciate how helpful the staff is.
Very good place to dine with family. Awesome food. Vijay cooks very good. Am happy with services.
MUST TRY coconut rice and coconut naan! I crave that all the time and its the best place to get it. Pro tip: pair it with butter chicken or butter paneer and youve got yourself an amazing combo
A nice place to have a good Indian meal. Don t forget to ask they re dishes with coconut (coconut rice, coconut naan, etc.) they are delicious !
What an interesting experience! Definitely a time my friend and I will never forget. There was an unexpected twist at every corner. From the service to the interior design, this place was both interesting and amusing. You just never know what youre going to get! Would recommend everyone experience this fine dining at least once. Do not be deceived from the emptiness and lack of staff on the inside. Just walk in with confidence, find a clear table, and a waiter will magically emerge from behind the kitchen curtain to be with you momentarily. Their bathrooms are both effective, and functional. Minimal flies. I give it 2 stars only because the water was so good there that we wanted some more. The food was both a surprise and an experience. Ive tasted nothing like it. Cant wait to come back and try the falooda!
Excellent food, excellent service, very accommodating for dietary need
Today we had lunch at Karim Indian restaurant in Prince George and food was awesome even prices are far better Thanks
My mom and I were driving through Prince George and we landed late at a hotel, super hungry. Ordered a bunch of veggie dishes I didnt recognize at 9:50 (they close at 10pm) and they delivered super promptly. I wish Id tipped more; the price was reasonable to begin with, and we ate leftovers for days. Absolutely delicious, great service, and some compostable packaging to boot. Id pass through PG just to go here to eat. Top notch.
Great food Dietary restrictions: Halal
Ordered through SkiptheDishes because the restaurant had a good rating (8.9) and wow, was I disappointed. The butter chicken curry had a high smell like old, expired parmesan cheese, which was off-putting, and it was very sweet. No savoury flavour whatsoever. It actually reminded me more of an unfortunate pasta sauce than a butter chicken curry. The naan bread was mediocre, and didnt do much to improve the experience. Overall, definitely not a great introduction to Indian food in Prince George. Will not be ordering from here again.
Absolutely delicious food! My husband and I decided to pop in since we had never been there before and we were both very happy!
Great place! Fresh food, quick service, friendly staff and the magic of Indian spice!
Bad customer service
HOLY! Amazing food! We dined in for 3. We all don t really eat spicy food! It s was amazing. Spicy level was perfect. Server was amazing. Big thanks to Karim team. WE WILL BE BACK!
The service is absolutely fabulous! She checked on us enough that we had everything we needed, without being intrusive. The food is outstanding! The naan bread was the best Ive ever had. Sounds and browned without any burned spots. The samosas were made with mashed potatoes that were very flavorful and not too hot. Palak Paneer was the best curry Ive ever eaten. The pakoras were so spicy but not hot I thought they were absolutely fantastic. The butter cauliflower and potatoes were super flavorful with the perfect sweet and spicy. I thoroughly enjoyed the Indian music that wasnt too loud. 1 lost star because I pulled a hair out of my mouth mixed in with my butter veggies. (Mistakes happen ) The server was very apologetic. We still tipped because everything else was amazing. Im on the fence about giving them another try due to the hair. I have to say the overall experience was wonderful. I cringed on and off all the way home over someones hair in my food being pulled out of my mouth. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options were scrumptious and there were so many options to choose from. Dietary restrictions: I asked for cauliflower and potatoes in butter chicken sauce(no chicken) and they were accommodating without issue. It was really tasty Parking: Parking is nonexistent during the day but the evening had lots of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Im on crutches and had no issues entering or exiting the premises
I had a lunch meeting here with some friends and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend the Chicken coconut and the veggie pakora!
I bought malai kofta and butter chicken with 5 naans. Malai kofta taste was terrible, couldn t eat threw in garbage and in butter chicken - chicken was still raw not cooked properly. Only Naan was good. Not buying from here again. Totally waste of money.
Ive heard good things about the food here, one of two Indian food places downtown I wanted to try. The chana masala lunch combo for about $12 with tip, was delicious and, for me, it was enough for two lunches (although I couldve definitely eaten it all!). Perfect amount of spicy for me, maybe a bit spicy for butter chicken lovers Parking: Angle street parking on 3rd Ave. I lucked out and got a spot no problem.
$20 it s not worth Parking: Lots of parking
I ordered from Skip once and it wasnt bad, the Samosas were great, as was the garlic naan. I was impressed because it cost me 30.00 and I got 30.00 worth of food. I ordered it a second time, but this time the chicken was suspicious, it didnt taste like any chicken Ive ever had and the texture was weird, I immediately started gagging. The butter sauce was fine, but the meat was bitter and chewier than I am accustomed to. I started getting sick a little while later.
Last night I visited Karim Indian Cuisine This place has nice ambiance, they have done some work to decorate the place. Food served was terrible, very big disappointment. I ordered Soya Chap, Paneer chili dry, Haryali Panner Tikka. Soya chap was not appropriately marinated and was under cooked, There was no flavor at all in it. Restaurant was not busy at that time because there no other table occupied. Paneer Chili: Fail to understand how can some one not cook this dish correct. it is a very basic street food item from North India. Ginger, garlic and soya sauce and three main ingredients to make this correct They served Paneer Chili with loaded tomato sauce and raw vegetables in it Haryali Paneer Tikka was tasteless because of no marination with appropriate spices at all , it was served on the table with huge pieces of bell pepper and onions in it( 3 approx). how can some one eat this without provided appropriate cutlery ( knife). Panner was not cooked at the right temperature and was cold inside when pointed out to chef that it was cold they tried to correct by cooking it again, However it was a disappointment.
Great veggie pakoras, naan and paneer! Gotta take one star off because their rendition of Vegetable Manchurian is without question the worst Ive ever had - absolutely vile. That aside, good eats!
Food was great and staff was friendly!
Excellent food and service!
awesome taste
Excellent food and service, staff is friendly
Best paranthas I have had in Prince George! Must try
Very good Excellint Really Indian flowing testy foods No1 I m visit to much your Restaurant thanks good food and service
It was good experience.
Very nice food and lunch I am very happy now thanks for restaurant
The lamb curry was very fatty, so there was a thick layer of grease. The coconut chicken has a good amount of coconut, but is bland.
Great food and great customer service!
