This place is a real treat for pasta lovers. The spaghetti carbonara was deliciously comforting, and the seafood pasta was a delightful surprise. The cozy atmosphere and friendly crew added to the whole experience.

Dont overlook their pasta dishes because theyre a delightful surprise amidst the steak offerings. With such warm service and a relaxed atmosphere, this steakhouse is the perfect place to indulge in both surf and turf.

Just had dinner at this spot and let me tell you, their special pasta was incredible.. perfectly al dente with the most delicious sauce. And the vibe there? totally relaxed, plus the crew was super attentive.

I wiah I could give more than 5 stars! Our whole experience was absolutely amazing!

North 54 is a great higher end restaurant in PG. The service and food were good. I had the Lamb Rack. The lamb was cooked perfectly, as were the vegetables. There were only three ribs in the rack and for over $50 for the plate it would have been nice to have had a 4th rib. The mashed potatoes could have been better. They had all the flavour boiled out of them before mashing and they were mashed with the skin still on which is not to my liking. My wife had the lobster ravioli which was pretty good but not great. The sauce was nice and had fresh basil in it. The ravioli had a spice in it that I couldnt figure out what it was but it definitely didnt go well with lobster. It might have been cumin, which I love, just not on lobster. The high price point makes it necessary to point out these minor issues. Regardless I still recommend trying out North 54.

Vegetarian options: For a vegetarian option you can get the Chorizo Penne without the chorizo and it s amazing. I highly recommend finishing your dinner with Warm Sticky Date Pudding and coffee. Food

Coming from out of town for the weekend and guessing on a good resteraunt we decided on north 54 and we were not disappointed, the lobster ravioli was the best I had ever had and after two days me and my s/o are still talking about dinner, the best

Immediately got seated and promptly had our orders taken. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing!! I will definitely be going back!

Service was great and we enjoyed our meals. The chef even came out to check on how the cook was on the steak I ordered that care and attention matters to them and it showed. We had not been here in a couple years and it will definitely be added to our date night rotation now. Everything was top notch. My wife even commented that the Banana cheesecake was among the best desserts she had ever tried.

Food is always delicious, service has always been wonderful and even if things go wrong as they sometimes do they never cease to apologize and make things right. Also always accommodating for allergies and food sensitivities

My wife and I tried this restaurant for the first time the other night. The service was fantastic. My wife had the red pepper soup and it was amazing. We had the carpacio and it was ok. I ordered the bison ragu with spaghetti and I really cant say I enjoyed it as the ragu had cloves in it. Not sure why cloves were used as they made it hard to taste the bison. We will go there again and try some of their other dishes like the swordfish.

It was pricey but the portions were huge and the food was great. The pasta is all made from scratch.

Loved every minute of it! From the ambiance to the food. The lighting is perfect, not too light and not too dark. The servers were super nice and the food was delicious. We got the mushroom appetizer and carbonara entree, and it was all so flavourful. The tiramisu was also delicious! It is obviously on the pricier end but I would definitley come back for special occasions.

I came back to North 54 for the first time since moving away. The service was OUTSTANDING!!!! The food was OUTSTANDING!!! The menu has so many different options that you wont find anywhere else in Prince George. I cannot wait to come back again and hopefully it wont be another 20 years between visits. Highly recommended.

I went here for a group supper with work colleagues. We were in the private room just across from the kitchen. The atmosphere and decor are upscale and high end. The menu choices included pasta, lamb, duck and seafood. They also had a nice selection of wines. I had the lobster ravioli with garlic bread. The flavours were great and the pasta was cooked perfectly. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here. I would definitely go here again.

I had to make changes to the reservation three times and they were so gracious about it. Not a single person in our party of 7 complained about the food and one person who is an avid Keg visitor says North 54 is his new go to. Excellent quality food, great presentation, outstanding service, and formal yet relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend if youre looking for fine dining in Prince George, BC.

First time in prince george and this restaurant did not disappoint!!

The food was sublime at very affordable prices.

We came here for the first time yesterday for our anniversary dinner . We had calimari which was ok our entrees were very underwhelming. Had the carbonara and was way to salty to the point of being inedible. My husband had the swordfish meal and it was just alright not much flavour . Our waitress was great . Seems like all the tables in the restaurant were wobbly . Was very let down for an apparent higher end restaurant. Will not be returning, honeslty put a big damper on our anniversary celebrations

We enjoyed our dinner in N54 a lot!! The food was exzellent and the staff were amazingly friendly and accomodating (also the kitchen staff - the kitchen is open and you can watch the chefs cook). We were eating with our baby and felt very welcome by everybody. Thanks a lot!

If someone were to ask me where I had my saddest meal ever, this is the place. Two dinners costing a hundred dollars felt excessive, especially given the lack of flavour. I wouldnt recommend.

Great spot for a more upscale and special dining experience. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is lovely, and the service is good. Staff are friendly and knowledgable on the menu. My only critique is the cocktails are good but not amazing/anything special (that being said, I am a cocktail snob and acknowledge I probably have a higher standard than most). I would absolutely recommend North 54 for lunch or dinner, in particular, for special occasions.

Nice upscale restaurant centrally located downtown. Food was good but pricy, staff were friendly and helpful.

North 54 really hit it out of the park tonight! we started with the calamari- cooked perfectly! my husband had the chorizo penne and i had the thai salad with steak. the steak was perfectly done to the medium rare i asked for. my husband said his chorizo was excellent. topped the night off with their banana cheesecake, one of my faves! don t forget to support local and still go out to our restaurants during these Covid times!! We don t want to lose these gems!

Delicious meal in a relaxed stylish atmosphere. After closing, the attentive server even leant me her lighter to warm up my key, to melt the ice in the lock of my truck. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Top notch service and attention to detail. Amazing caeser salad, quite frankly if you like garlic, the best in Prince George, and I would know I have tried most of them searching for the best one :). Well worth adding a topper to the salad, North 54 does not disappoint with portion sizes. Overall great experience.

Took our group of 16 without a problem. Our waitress was friendly and got every order correct. Even the chef came out and greeted us. Will return when on the area again.

In all honesty not really a restaurant,take a look at the kitchen their working with & youll understand why.Id say unless they are completely focused on you as a guest your in for a roll of the dice. Almost like somebody cooking for you in their home.

Found this spot through Google and was extremely happy !!! Great atmosphere , great menu and cocktail and wine menu, the owner was our server she was great with recommendations too my mom and I went for a dinner and it was super nicely priced too. Worth every penny and then some. I have recommended this to many people already and will continue to. Definitely going back. Super cute

If you havent been GO! The bf surprised me with reservations for my birthday dinner and it was AMAZING! Our hostess remembered our names, made excellent recommendations for the menu and wine pairings. The food was exquisite! I had the Stuffed Chicken Supreme, chicken stuffed with brie and wild mushrooms with an in house made sauce that was incredible! The bf went with the lobster ravioli and our table of 4 shared the bruschetta, calamari and steak bite appies. Everything was so fresh and beautifully plated. We will definetly be back! A wonderful upscale atmosphere, relaxed, quiet, we felt fancy and were treated like royalty. If youre looking for your next dinner date night, this is it! PS: The Crispy Banana Cheesecake we had for dessert is pictured.

What an absolute gem this place is. My favourite restaurant in Prince George. The food and drinks are always phenomenal. Service is always top notch with staff who are familiar with the menu and can suggest wine pairings with any dish. If you haven t tried it you really must.

The good: Great food. Beautiful atmosphere. Refined and diverse drink menu and lots of wine options for all price points. The not so good: It was a very interesting evening for sure. If I was rating based on the first 30 minutes of our arrival, I would be giving it a very low rating indeed. Arriving into town late in the afternoon after a horrible drive through freezing rain for a visit with my daughter and her partner who moved to PG this past year, we decided to have dinner downtown. N54 looked very inviting so we decided to see if they had room for us despite it being very busy. They said they were full in their main dining area, but offered to seat us in the lounge area. This area is gorgeous and comfortable, and I certainly didnt have an issue sitting there. If they had said they couldnt seat us because their kitchen was too busy, we wouldnt have had an issue with that either. Totally understandable. After we were seated, they brought us water. Then... We didnt see anyone for almost half an hour We were getting our jackets on to leave (again, they were busy and we assumed they had forgotten about us, totally fine there are other restaurants downtown we can go to) at which point a quite rude server/bartender came by and gave us a drink menu and said well maybe get to you when we can but were busy with our reservation guests and her tone was so condescending and almost as if we were a giant inconvenience to her. So odd because I didnt remember begging anyone to eat in the restaurant... At this point, a different server arrived on the scene , and the night definitely turned around. Im glad we stayed. However, we did witness a verbal tiff between the two staff later in the evening, after also witnessing the rude server/bartender quite literally swear at another walk in guest who didnt have a f*3$king reservation so I am assuming tensions were heightened in the restaurant for several reasons and probably not indicative of their vibe normally, but its definitely something Ive never seen before and hope not to again! Overall, do I recommend? Yes... With a reservation. Its pricey in some ways, but overall the quality of the food is totally worth it. Will I go back? Probably...but only if I make a reservation!

I cannot stress how incredible this place is! No matter what I have ever ordered it has been incredible and delicious. The variety is great and they seem to change their menu some what regularly. I was married in their 15 person banquet room and the service was spectacular as well as the food. I Iook forward to any excuse to come here.

A delightful Valentines Day Eve dinner was had! Low light, enjoyable music at an appropriate volume, and all staff were masked with the exception of the bartender whose mask seemed to keep slipping below his nose. The food was delicious and the beverages complimented them perfectly. The washrooms were tidy, and the tables appropriately spaced apart to fit COVID restrictions.

Amazing. I cant stop thinking about our experience and the food. By far the best restaurant experience I have ever had. Delicious food, great service, great atmosphere. Recommend it to everyone who is looking for good food and a great dining experience.

Not a great experience The appetizer I ordered was microwaved service wasnt good had to ask other waitresses for drinks when my steak came most of it was fat and I ordered scallops for 10 dollars for which I got 3 fot that go to the keg much better for less

Myself and my daughter had supper here on Oct 15th, 2021. The service was excellent the waitresses were nice and informative. The food was excellent they have an awesome dessert the atmosphere is relaxed and classy. I do recommend this place.

There is a real care for detail in this restaurant , from the dishes to decor, fresh ingredients, fun and attentive staff all around from the front of house on, a cozy yet classy atmosphere that you want to spend time in. Really a surprise to find some place like this in a Northern town. Reasonably priced and the coffee is great. Ask about the paw prints in the terracotta tiles that came from Italy!

My favourite restaurant in town. Honestly, it seems expensive, but compared to other restaurants prices and quality the price difference is negligible. Their lobster ravioli is amazing. Its one of our go-to restaurants for a nice date night.

Well worth your time and money! North 54 was an excellent experience for a high end restaurant. The establishment was well kept, calm and atmospheric, and the staff (shoutout Danielle) were very friendly and personable. The prices were exceptionally reasonable and the food quality arguably some of the best in Prince George. In my opinion, far superior to establishments like the keg and a go to for special occasions in the forseeable future.

We had a work party here and the waitress mistakenly gave my starter to someone else at my table and had run out of the ingredients for another dish. They quickly got me another menu and I ordered something new, which flew out of the kitchen for me. Great staff and great food.

Wanted to try this place for our 25th wedding anniversary. Walked in and figured that we were ok to get a seat as there was only 2 sets of tables filled....told that they were not taking any walkins...she was too busy as she was the only server..... Very disappointed...

This place is overpriced for what you get and their lunch was horrible. My garlic was so burnt it was unrecognizable and bitter and the entire dish was just horrible and unpalatable. My salad was over dressed and soggy. Will not be back

Well, I would have expected a little more, the location is very appealing at first glance, but with the white lighting everything is very cool. I didnt choose the restaurant, but as a vegetarian you wont find what youre looking for on the menu. However, I was offered one of the dishes without the meat, which is basically completely fine. Unfortunately the kitchen was not convincing and the food can only be described as boring. I assume the meat would have been the best thing about it, the pasta was just very fatty because of all the cream but otherwise had no taste.

Great atmosphere, service was fantastic, and the experience was top notch. My gf had the lobster ravioli which she raved about, we shared the stuffed mushrooms which were alright, and I had the duck which was not cooked to my liking at all however the took it off my bill and I got an amazing deep fried banana cheesecake instead which was heaven. The overall experience was wonderful. I would definitely go back and try it again.

Best restaurant in Prince George

From the moment I walked in I fell in love. The decor was amazing. Love the blues and seafoam green. The Art Deco and style. The manager did an amazing job. Having moved from the lower mainland to PG I was looking for a great place to celebrate our move. Couldnt have been more impressed. We had the escargot, duck and risotto, spaghetti Carbonara and a dessert of cheese for the missus and an assortment of delicious treats for me. The waitress and service was on par. Extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about their food and drinks. I highly recommend this place and will be back to try the lamb!!

This restaurant entrees were very nice. Not blown away by anything really. The charcuterie board looked cheap and messy. Their cocktails/ martinis were tasty but lacked originality. Most impressive item was their small cheese plate. Service staff and kitchen staff were obviously at odds with each other and communication was poor. I was expecting a lot out of North 54 and was let down. Also the skylight made for obnoxious lighting in an otherwise cozy and romantic atmostphere. Probably wont rush back, and choose somewhere with local options for half the cost.

Wednesday evening anniversary dinner night. Walked in to no one at the front and stood waiting for someone. Couple minutes and we are seated. Mojito for first drink, flat soda. Wife s salad was good according to her. Both had pasts. Mine was the sausage Penne, which was ok. Wife had bolognese that came out with about a cup of parm on it. Caught the waitress to order wine. Wine came with six fruit flies in it, taken away, given new one. Finished my pasta, wife did not. Looked like a blob from Boston Pizza, turned to mush quickly. Paid bill, left, likely not to be back. Will stick to Cimos and other places.

Probably the best fine dining experience in Prince George. Solid menu and service. Expect great quality and fair prices.

The waiting time was ridiculously long! It took us two hours to have our dinner. Small menu and short on staff. One of us asked for vegetarian option and the server assumed that the rest of us are also the same. They had to redo the dinner after the huge waiting time.

This place is absolutely fantastic. I had mussels for an appetizer and Duck for dinner and it was delicious!

This use to be my favorite restaurant. sadly since the new managment, I havnt been to pleased. The inside looks beautiful but it seems as if they have took short cuts with the food now. The wild scallops are now served with barely any sauce and its flavorless. It use to have the perfect amount of portions that were filled with so much flavour, sadly it is no longer our date night place.
