The Little Snail Restaurant in Pyrmont

We are frequent visitors to this amazing restaurant. This time we had a party of 20 and all of our meals were fabulous. Our group tried just about all of the options on the menu and everyone was so happy. Personally, I had the pate, the beef main and profiteroles and they were all perfect. Kudos to the wait staff and the chefs who do an outstanding job. The best part of all of this is the price is beyond reasonable.

Wow we had a wonderful time. There were 16 of us. We had the 3 course $45 meal. We all had different meals. Everyone was amazed at the quality of their food and the size of the serving. This must be the best value restaurant in Sydney. Situated right at Pyrmont opposite footbridge in the IBIS hotel. Great views. Parking in IBIS or Light Rail accross the road. Try it. Wheelchair accessibility: Not great. Stairs no lift. However you can dine downstairs very accessable.

What s the point of getting our order so fast like rushing us to order but our dishes came soooooo slowwwwww (the one behind us and beside us finished their food already lol ) Food no problem , tastes ok.

Excellent meals and very good value. Quite nice inside with views of the city and a nice mezzanine floor. A bit busy and loud but still nice. Waiters are very patient even though a lot of customers use coupons and are in larger groups. Entree, main and dessert were all excellent and no one in our group complained. So great to have good value French food in the city.

This restaurant has sold its soul to overseas group bookings, let them die by their own sword .pathetic . No loyalty to the local market that kept them alive abd prosperous for years .give this dump the wide birth they deserve ..

I came for the kangaroo meat tbh after Googling around for it as I wanted to eat it again before I leave Sydney. That main dish delivered. However, the starter and dessert was somewhat of a miss for me. I think I chose the wrong ones for my taste? I also thought there would be less starch so ordered extra bread--way more than comfortable, found that out too late. Aside from the red meat, I think the food is good but not out of the ordinary. The service is great, and they timed when to bring out each stage pretty well.

I ordered a watermelon mocktail, and when I took the first sip, I could taste the rotten taste of the watermelon. It was very stale, like a fruit that had been rotten for a long time. I said the watermelon is not fresh, the waiter replied me: what do you mean is not fresh, this watermelon just cut? Mate, if you dont believe the customer, drink it yourself and go back to check your watermelon. The staff was bad manners like what do you mean , hello? Is that how you communicate? and there was only one waiter on the whole floor which is unacceptable for that many customer on the same floor. I would not recommend for this restaurant. I m felling headache after taste the watermelon mocktail and I need walk out to buy Panadol during dinner. Please check your food and fruit, we pay you for the service and food, this is not how you guys treat the customer.

The booking system is incredibly frustrating. I was told by phone to send an email to make a reservation, so I did on November 14 for 10 people. However, it seems no one actually checks the emails for bookings. When I called on November 27 to confirm, I was told that the restaurant is now fully booked and there are no available seats. Its really disappointing and frustrating. I no longer trust their booking system, and now I have to find another place, which could be challenging during this busy season.

I go to the Little Snail at least twice a year for work reunions. Excellent value, with efficient, friendly service. Back again today, almost the same group of colleagues. Menu still the good, familiar choices with friendly efficient service. Its still highly recommended. Parking: Parking station is about 50 metres up the road, too easy! I recommend pre booking to simplify the process using credit cards as ID.

As a French person I am basically in solidarity with the French but that is not possible.. The starter was ok for the homemade dough but then it was a disaster. The cordon bleu is clearly frozen. I discovered to my great surprise that the cheese was water. I then politely asked the waitress if this was normal and she did her job well. The plate comes back to me with the explanation that this is due to condensation, good joke. The least we can do is recognize that there is a problem, send back another cordon bleu that is better defrosted this time or send an apology or a commercial gesture like this is done in France since it is a French restaurant and if this had been done I would not have posted a negative comment. On this, for French restaurants to avoid I think that 90% of the menu is frozen like in many restaurants here unfortunately being kitchenhand in Sydney I know what Im talking about. And for Australians if you want to eat French dishes with Australian food you can go there. PS: when paying the person who was the boss I suppose didnt even dare ask me if the meal went well he just handed me the bill without a word a restaurant like that in France closes at the end of a week! I write in French in order to say exactly what I think to the restorer Google will take care of the translation for you.

Have been to the Little Snail numerous times, with a Groupon voucher. Went again last night and as it usual didnt fail to tick every box. Wednesday night, was pretty full with good ambience, excellent service, and excellent food for a very fair price. Great choice of menu. Will continue to come here, best all round restaurant by far!

A very special place.

Snails are always unpalatable. If the domestic Pizza Hut snails get an 8-point rating, this one doesnt even get a 3-point rating. Even if its canned, the sauce doesnt match at all, and the foie gras is even more heavyweight. A large piece of foie gras sauce doesnt taste good at all, so The thing placed there is like a piece of cement. The duck meat for the main course was just okay, but the rasperberry jam was really fishy, and the lamb was even more mellow than my professor (older, not tender). I didn t want to say anything about the last two desserts, and the pudding was just soaked bread. , paired with plant-based cream ice cream, you will definitely have diabetes after eating it. The other syrup ice cream is also amazing. How can a plant-based cream ice cream that is full of pigments be so unpalatable? Do you still have a conscience when giving it a five-point rating? Or does it mean that it doesn t have a tongue at all?

We frequently take friends to eat at the Little Snail. The food is pretty good. It is definitely worth your money. My daughter always eats the snails I like the kangaroo - not very French but delicious :)

Great food and service

I organised a group of friends to have lunch in October. Everyone throughly enjoyed there meals. The variety of food that was offered was delicious. The drink prices are fair. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The location is very handy to the light rail. I have dined here many times and always great. The group who I was with all want to return in 2025.

The food here was great, had some really delicious French food on offer. We had the veal and would definitely have it again. We sat on the upper level and had a great view of the harbour outside. Dietary restrictions: They have a whole menu for gluten free options, and plenty of options.

We just had a lovely dinner at The Little Snail. The food portions were generous and very tasty. The service was amazing. This is really good value for money!! Every course was very good.... I dont have any complaints. Parking: Wilsons parking is nearby and the cost is reasonable if you can pre-pay. We had parking reserved from 6:30pm - 9:00pm and it cost us $11. Very reasonable for a city venue.

Pleasant but unexciting restaurant. Good value but very young inexperienced staff.

Great lunch with our friends. The menu is varied and quite large. All our dishes were excellent and the great fast and friendly service from Fern and her colleagues made this lunch an experience we want to revisit in a few months time.

Undeseasoned escargot, desserts were too sweet for my liking, the beef steak with potatoes is the only dish that was really good. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce complimented the steak. The salmon with cheese and herbs is a good starter. That, i would recommend too. The service was prompt especially with the Asian lady who attended to us. They gave us a little anniversary plater since we were celebrating that night. Otherwise, I cant find any reason to come back to this restaurant. It made me so sad coz seeing the reviews online, I had high expectations for this place but I was disappointed.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal recently and would definitely recommend the restaurant. Not only was the food great, but the staff were lovely and the price very reasonable. Would happily go back when in Sydney.

The baked snail is a little tasteless, the medium well of the beef is a little hard, but it tastes good, you can try medium rare next time, the seafood platter tastes good, in addition to the mussels are too old, the dessert is generally too sweet, the whole is very good.

3 course lunch for $45 is pretty good. The food is always well presented, and the quality is consistent. You can go to their website to see the menu. Dinner costs a bit more, but youll have more choices. Very close to Pyrmont Bay tram station. Otherwise, park at Wilson or Secure. Kid-friendliness: A nice kids menu is available.

I ve known about this restaurant for decades but this was my first time there. Went with 2 old friends & we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was really tasty & being vegetarian there were delicious options for me. The set menu is great value. The serving sizes are perfect too, not too much food but enough to feel full but not uncomfortably so. I really recommend Little Snail. Vegetarian options: Really tasty vegetarian options in the set menu.

This place is must try in Sydney. Food tastes fabulous, atmosphere is splendid and the service is on-point. Most importantly, they dont charge ridiculous prices whilst being a french restaurant next to the harbour. Will be returning.

A lovely place for dinner, The Little Snail had good food, excellent service, and a nice atmosphere. This is a very modern French restaurant with good food. While the duck I had was not the best in Sydney, it was very good and was served with an excellent sauce.

Been walking past this place for 20 years and never gone in. Went for a family lunch at 12pm on a Saturday and the place was packed! Service is excellent! For the price, food great.. dont expect sensational food for the price .. its great.. but want better go pay more. Its great to see a place that gives excellent service thriving in Sydney . Well done.

dinner Fresh squid/steak/pudding

After factoring in the context (Australia, especially Sydney Darling Harbour location), this restaurant is simply the best French restaurant in the area, if not Australia, from a value perspective. My relatives and I tried the 3-course lunch menu for A$45, and oh boy, it didnt disappoint despite the low price tag that defies post-COVID inflation from an Australian point of view. Thanks to probably a volume-based strategy and many other practices (it seems like a well-oiled machine), the operators of this restaurant amazed me with their $45 3-course lunch menu offering. On a side note, although not a French dish, I appreciated the local Australian touch with the available kangaroo filet. Snails and prawns available as entrees were decent, too. As a native French speaker, I chit-chatted with the front-of-the-house staff, who seemed mostly (maybe all?) French native. The staff was adequately actively listening and didnt show signs of impatience despite the rush and some slowness from our end. That shows excellent self-control and professionalism. I couldnt ask for more for a last minute Friday lunch!

One of my favourite restaurants - been here many times. Great food and service, always consistent and great value.

Everything was adequate given the price point. The escargot was good, serving sizes for everything was pretty good. Was not overly impressed by the service though. On my booking I selected birthday but nothing was acknowledged when we arrived and nothing came of it, no references or anything. Im not a demanding person when it comes to these types of little things but I did expect at least something, even for the host to say happy birthday or something. The waiters and waitresses were extremely efficient to the point they sort of half drop the dishes in front of you, no faffing about with small talk I guess. All in all, we came, got sat down, had our orders taken, dishes came out quickly and were served to us quickly, then I guess we got asked for the bill and that was it.

Went for a christening, to be honest I have never thought about trying snails til I tried yours!! And they were beautiful, the garlic butter was perfect for the thought.. I prob wont ever try them again but can officially say I HAVE EATEN SNAIL!!, will come back to try some other French food, maybe for next date night!! Thanks Team

An early dinner upstairs where this place delivers a decent view of Darling Harbour at sunset. The service was good, the food was ok. Calamari was tasty, served quite simply in a stack, the vegetarian risotto was under whelming and the raspberry sorbet with chocolate cake for dessert was a nice finish. This place oversold and under delivered but it was popular with attentive staff managing a very busy dinner time.

We were staying local and saw this place booked - easy, ordered - easy, served - polite and friendly, ate - delicious, paid - great price, left - totally would go again. Lovely place and really would recommend

I dined out here with my aunty tonight, we had a great time together. The food was amazing, the staff were super professional. The building looked spontaneous from inside and out, this is easily the best French restaurant in all of Sydney.

The Little Snail Restaurant offers a great deal, especially if you have a Groupon voucher definitely a fantastic value for the price! The meal was decent, and the view of Darling Harbour is lovely, adding to the overall dining experience. I enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back.

We went there with a group of friends and ordered the 3 course set menu and it was just amazing food and lovely presentation. Our server Erwin made it even more special as he was top notch with the service I do wanna say the staff at the reception front wasn t that nice but great experience overall. We are definitely coming back for more good service and amazing French food!

Wonderful! We went there on some vouchers. We had an amazing night. Food is varied, I ordered paté for entree, very yummy! Big portion! As main I ordered the frute de mer (or something like that) wow! It was a very nice portion. Not only the portion was good but the flavours in it! Jejeje for suuuuuuure I will be coming back! For dessert, my partner ordered a chocolate cake/mousse, dont remember the name, ufff was sooo nice and again big portions! We left happily the place. Nice atmosphere and very very nice food. I also ordered blue cheese(it has a name in french) you can tell the quality is exquisite, but, I ate so much so I ordered it then take away. And I am tasting it now meanwhile I write this review. The experience is very enjoyable. For drinks I opted for the cocktail that was in the voucher, they also had wine. I tasted them both, and both were very very good Thanks for the service (I don t know why I waited so long to come)

This is certainly one of the best fine dining I had in Sydney, with some very unique dishes. Cost effective without sacrificing services or food quality, I am impressed. We definitely return.

Havent been back to Australia since February 2023, I took my mother, misus and daughter for a walk to Darking Harbour. Stumbled pass this place and I just wanted to have a look at the menu, saw Kangaroo which I really want to try while in Australia, but the ladies wanted to go for a walk, after crossing the bridge and the restaurants there did not seem that interesting to us at that time, I just that Kangaroo dish on my mind, so we decided to walk back. Upon arrival we got there almost 2pm, the wait staff politely inform us to please quickly order our food as the kitchen will be closing at 2:30pm which was no problem to us at all, totally understandable. We ordered; Escargot, Kangaroo Loin, Lamb Loin, Beef Tenderloin, Chicken & Chips for my little girl, and the Warm Sticky Pudding. Escargot was ok, Lamb and Beef was really good, well cooked and full of flavour. But the star had to be the Kangraroo, we ordered rare as recommended the meat is so tender and flavorful, this was truly memorable. Daughter enjoyed her chicks & chips. The Warm Sticky Pudding was the only dessert and it was the perfect way to end the meal, the balance of the temperature was really good. I will be trying to find more restaurant with Kangaroo dishes while I am here, this place is highly recommended but get there a little earlier than I did. There are other dishes I really want to try. If I get the chance to be back in Australia I will definitely return for sure. Thank you for the wonderful experience today. Keep doing what you guys are doing.

I had lunch here yesterday after many recommendations. Bookings only available either 11.30 or 1.30. We chose the 11.30 even though it was really too early for lunch. Right opposite Darling Harbour in a very modern building. A much bigger restaurant than I had expected with a lot of upstairs seating available. It was very busy with two big school groups. We ordered and the first course came in about two minutes. I chose the pate which was very disappointing. It was grainy and overcooked and I couldnt really eat it. I chose the seafood plate which was quite nice but dont understand why they would choose to put two huge green lip mussels on the plate - a couple oysters would have been much better. For dessert I chose the sticky date pudding which was very average. On the whole it is probably good value but we were in and out in one hour which was not really a great dining experience. A little too hurried and not too much finesse with the food.

Havent been here for long time. The food and service still good with a nice view of darling harbour which may be blocked after the building is built. Its value for money $69 for 3 courses. The liver palette is big.

We went, for the sixth or seventh time, the day before Bastille Day and., as always, the food, service and prices were excellent. We will keep going back.

The food was exceptional, with standout dishes like the the flavorful escargots. The three-course set menu offered great value and variety. We came here for a work lunch and were not disappointed. 3 courses for $45 is a great price and they were very fast at service. My companion was basically licking her plate of Escargot and very much enjoyed her beef tenderloin. I chose the veg options (they had one entree and one main option). The crepe was ok but the risotto was very tasty and balanced. The staff were friendly and personable.

Last night I went there with some family visiting from overseas. We all enjoyed the food that was delicious, well prepared and presented. This is a very nice little gem not too far from the busiest streets of Sydney. They can accommodate different dietary requirements and their menu choices are not limited. Dietary restrictions: I am lactose allergic and I enjoyed the dinner as well

Great place for great cuisine. Had trouble booking online, two weeks ago, so we tried our luck walking in. And what luck we had. The food was delectable, and the service on point too. Will come back to try the other dishes when I get a chance.

My partner and I went with my sisters family on a Friday night. This restaurant came recommended to us by my sister, who had previously dinned there a number of times. It was our waiters first night there on the 16th Aug. We didnt catch his name, but he was absolutely wonderful. The entire service was professional, and the food was absolutely divine. Will definitely dine here again. Parking: Wilson car Park is literally right next door and it was only $17 Kid-friendliness: High chair provided and kids menu available for the kiddies

One of my very favourite restaurants. The food is always excellent as is the service, and the cost is surprisingly low. I have eaten there many, many times and never been disappointed. I have also introduced many of my friends to the restaurant and they have always been very pleased.

Most reviews seem to comment that the food is ok to good without commenting on how much it costs. Sure Ive had better food in other places, had cheaper food in some other places but this is without doubt the best value meal Ive had in a long time and possibly ever!!. Come on, $69 for 3 courses of very above average food. I dont know how they do it. Ive paid $65 for a steak main that wasnt as good as the one of my guests had here. Add in above average service and a bottle of excellent wine that wasnt cheap but also not overpriced with a good atmosphere and Ive got a place I would love to visit more often but unfortunately live too far away from.

Update: We went again for dinner and decided to try the 3 course meal special which was only $45 per person. It was excellent ------------------------------------------------------- The Little Snail Restaurant is a French restaurant, located in Murray Street at Darling Harbour. It is across the road from the Maritime Museum. We were a party of eight for dinner. I found the special $12 parking at the Secure Parking Station quite convenient. From there its a short walk across the Pyrmont footbridge. The service and food were excellent. We had the 3 course meal which cost $100 per couple if you use the Groupon coupon. Normally the 3 Course Dinner Menu costs $65 each, which is good value in any case. We ordered the Escargote de Bourgogne, Pate Maison, Salt and Pepper Squid, Salmon Roulade, Beef Tenderloin with Potato Millefeuille, Magret de Canard Seafood Plate Sticky Date Pudding, Hazelnut and Praline Ice cream and more, all were delicious

The French cuisine is a three-course meal, and you can dine with a tour group. Appetizer - French veal; main meal - salmon; dessert - pudding It s your first time to taste French cuisine. If you haven t tried Xiaoguo Beef before, you can give it a try! Kangaroo meat is also available for main meals. The environment is comfortable, but there is only one womens toilet!

I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at the Little snails in May 2024 with friends from United States, and as always, it was a delightful experience. The food was simply exquisite, showcasing authentic French flavors with a modern twist. The customer service was impeccable, making us feel welcomed and well cared for. This place never disappoints, which is why I keep coming back. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a lovely dining experience!

Staff are super efficient, professional and friendly. This restaurant has been in Sydney a very long time. You need to book as it is very popular. Paid parking next door and Light Rail a short distance away.

Amazing food and value.

Enjoyed a fantastic 3-course lunch at The Little Snail, a charming French restaurant in Sydney. For just AUD45, I had a delightful meal that was exceptionally delicious and great value. Couple of highlights: was a must try - a generous serving of a dozen, cooked to perfection . Then my 1st time trying kangaroo meat and the fillet was served rare yet flavorful and unique There are many tempting options on the menu, too many indeed

Tried escargot for the first time. Wonderfully cooked for a memorable first experience. Tenderloin steak and lamb were also great. 3 course dinner for a decent price.

9/10 overall. Highly recommend the calamari rings and sticky date pudding. Food gets delivered super fast and has quality! Will be comming back

We got a special birthday dessert

We had lunch there yesterday to celebrate a familys members birthday and also because my daughter loves snails (escargot de bourgogne). The food were great, the snails, kangaroo fillets and the warm pudding were the highlighted dishes. The serves were big and great for value ($45 for 3 course meal). We didnt mind a bit smaller serve as we couldnt finish the main meals (too full). We would come back more often if the restaurant changes/alternates a few dishes (unpopular ones?) on the menu now and then. I love to try new French dishes.

A smallish restaurant with a biggish serving. Right opposite Darling Harbour, this gem of a restaurant has been around forever. The $45 three-course meal is unbelievable...its not often, I am not able to finish my mains. Few choices are available. Great for team outing and also casual lunches

It was random pick for Sunday lunch and we don t have any regrets whatsoever. Only few minutes walk from the local light rail station. We booked table only 1 hour prior arrival and upon arrival our table was waiting for us. Food was fantastic, good value for the money spent. We picked lunch Menu $45 per person with some additional sides and drinks. We had amazing time waiters were spot on with their service. Now knowing we will definitely go there again. Next time we will enquire to have table close to the window on upper level rather then being few metres from restrooms. I have always wanted to dine in at this restaurant, but I don t why for some reason I never had the chance. Finally, had the chance to visit the place for our anniversary. It was definitely a great deal for a 3 course meal, getting the value of the price from the huge servings and desserts arrived with a Happy Anniversary written. Would love to celebrate more special occasions at The Little Snail

The taste of the snail not as good as before

The food was really good, though the service was not so great at the reception and they wanted to sit us next to a big group of loud people when we requested to be seated upstairs and upstairs was empty and plenty of spots available. We ended up sitting up stairs but the man in charge was very rude.

The rissotto is bad ,spoiled

I ordered salmon with risotto. The risotto smells bad. It was spoiled that s why i did not eat it. I complained about this. The man in white polo shirt said he will bring it up to the chef. This is my first time to dine in this restaurant and i was disappointed.

Food is decent for what you pay. My partner got the duck pate and he said it tasted off compared to the other pate s we ve tried at fine dining restaurants. Presentation of dishes was nice, dessert was definitely the highlight! Service was good, staff were friendly and food wasnt brought too slowly.

The Fillet of Beef Tenderloin is the best for me. I ordered Medium rare, and it was perfect. I closed my eyes and savored the juice of the meat, it was an awesome experience. It is even better than most stakehouse Ive been to. The potato millefeuille is ok, but not a stand-out. The escargot is also good, especially the sauce. Get an extra bread, coz the sauce is really yummy. The kahlua infused chocolate mousse is also a highlight. I cant describe what I felt, it is out of the ordinary. And these 3 meal In just $45. Where else should you go? The Litttle Snail is the best.

Definitely recommend this place. The food was perfect taste and presentation was amazing. The toilets were extremely clean and atmosphere was clean. The service was incredible with nice staff members. The food came out quick and no staff member was slacking off they were focused on there job and take care in there service.

Lovely French establishment right on Darling Harbor! When we went it was not too crowded and we were seated immediately. My girlfriend and I got a 3 course meal plus another entree, which was enough food for the both of us. It was our first time having kangaroo (and my first time having escargots) and they were both delicious! The food was also very affordable, especially if you get the 3 course fixed menu.

We recently celebrated our anniversary at The Little Snail Restaurant, a charming French restaurant that truly knows how to make an evening special. The service was impeccable; the staff went out of their way to ensure we have a memorable experience, attending to every detail with warmth and professionalism. They provided recommendations for all three courses since I couldnt pick. They also provided wine recommendations that paired well with our main meals. The service was quick and efficient. Our meal included several standout dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. We ordered the Escaegots De Bourgogne, Bouillabaisse De Marseille, Garlic bread, Cote De Veau, Marget De Canard, Handmade Profiterole, and Belgian Chocolate Gateau. The food was generally outstanding. Each dish was a restatement to Franch culinary excellence, bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. However, there was one disappointment: the handmade profiterole. Unlike the rest of our meal, it tasted stale and lacked the freshness we expected. It was an unfortunate blemish to an otherwise perfect evening. Despite this minor setback, our anniversary dinner was wonderful. The overall quality of the food and the exceptional service made it a night to remember. We look forward to returning and trying more of their delicious offerings, hoping their profiteroles will be fresh next time.

$45 for three plates is a great deal for lunch.

We were walking towards the fishmarket when we spotted this fab french restaurant. The food and service was very good. A very enjoyable lunch!

Main a bit too much salt. Lamb. But only because I am used to ZERO added salt. Not too much to spoil it though. Partner loved his. Chocolate mousse dessert to die for.

An oldie and a goodie They must be doing something right to draw us back time and time again. We first went before kids and found the food and service, delicious and efficient. This is probably what drew us back after having kids. A quick service and meals that has not changed the first time we came (about 7 yrs ago) means we know what to expect and kids do not become too antsy. Price is also very reasonable and they are on Groupon which further reduces their already good price. In this current age where inflation is an eye sore, The Little Snail somehow keeps prices withon reach. The servers work hard too, flying up and down the stairs. Some are literally running! We will be back

The beef was so juicy and flavourful. The dessert was very pretty and yummy. Did leave while still a little hungry after the 3 course with cocktail.

Attentive staff and good food as usual, we had a large group of 9 and used the groupon so it was excellent value! Must have extra bread to soak up the garlic sauce/oil that comes with the escargo entree

I tried to called 3 times over 10 min. no one picked up phone. And sent email no one reply. Not sure why are they installed telephone ? And website? Totally terrible service.

The Little Snail provides great food for the price although served cold. Sadly the atmosphere in the cheapest French restaurant in Sydney is also low. After suffering the constant running up and down the stairs behind our table by staff taking food from the kitchen to diners above, with the bang, bang, banging of their heavy shoes on the timber stairs , we then had to endure an 8 /10 year old boy doing the same. Not content with the noise he was making and the dangerousness of this unsupervised activity, he then decided to start jumping off the stairs as well. All of this occuring whilst his parents and siblings sat and ate, oblivious of the disruption their child was causing to other diners. When we mentioned to staff that this behaviour had impacted our enjoyment of the evening , the woman on the front desk denied the restaurant has a duty of care on this matter. Her response that it was the parents job to stop the child and not the restaurant s left us as cold as the luke warm veal fillet. A shame that what WAS a great little piece of France in Pyrmont , has become a free for all for indulged children and the staff have NO intention of setting a better dining standard for patrons. Might work OK elsewhere, such as family restaurants like McDonalds in the burbs but the obvious sliding south on all aspects of this once great eatery explains why its on GROUPON and not on a BEST PLACES TO EAT IN SYDNEY list anymore.

We had the lunch fixed price menu. The service was delightful. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and incredibly attentive. The steak and the sticky date pudding were out of this world. We were thoroughly sated. The quality of the food and the value for money make The Little Snail a must go again

I went with four girls. They have a reasonable 3-course menu. The service from the staff was good, and the food was served quickly and efficiently. I didnt have high expectations because the price was so low, but everything was better than I expected. In the end, we opened three bottles of wine to go with the delicious food! Food

I love Little Snail! Me and my husband come here annually to celebrate either Birthday, Anniversarry, or even Christmas. Quality and Price is the BEST. Cant find any other restuarants that offers the same.

What a fantastic place to eat, it was my birthday the staff told the kitchen and they added a special note on my desert.

Food was yummy and there was a great selection of French food. Reasonably priced and very quick service. A few of my group members have been multiple times and have nothing but nice things to say about the restaurant. Unfortunately I and other members of my group felt a bit unwell the morning after.

Have just finished the 3 course with my family and it is one of the best menus I have read and eaten for a long time. Kid-friendliness: Our daughters 11 and 14 ate the adult menu and lived it.

Food good. Booked online .Was told by waiter $55 per head no drinks. $69 with drinks. We opted for $55 No drinks. I paid $22 for 2 glasses wine. Came to pay bill person at register said no $69 per head no drinks. Have been here 3 times before at $55 head. Staff need to be informed of pricing.

Me and my family celebrated my birthday there last night. And we were all very happy and satisfied. The food taste so good and the service was quick and very courteous. The pricing and the amount of food served is just so commendable. We will definitely recommend this place to our friend.

The Little Snail has been like a long-term friend, and this time I enjoyed the French cuisine with my children. First the snails were quite good, then came the mains - seafood plate and beef were both decent. Dessert was fine!
