Attended Sunday evening, not too busy and most patrons were outside. Staff were super helpful and accommodating. Ambience was nice and calm especially before Christmas break . Food was so below par, one would have to assume the chef was a substitute amateur taking a lazy Sunday Shift. For a restaurant know for meat /steak/ Grill. The food was below average. Our order was 1 x Short Ribs - these were undercooked and not what you would expect from elements. Flavours were boring and condiments and sides were average, Dutch carrots were undercooked to the point they were too hard to eat. We ordered the Scotch Fillet medium rare, the cut was about 40% fat and the steak was rare with one over charred side. I did have to send it back once. Came back after 10 minutes perfectly cooked and the waiter apologised and made it seem like it happened alot that day. We came here in January and had a completely different experience. This time round very disappointed. Wont be returning.

We were a group of 15. Waited 45 mins for first drinks, 20 just to be served. Amazing view ruined by bad service and lack of atmosphere- the place should have been packed at Xmas, as was next door. Shame. We organise hundreds of events per year and wont be recommending Elements.

My partner and I had dinner, celebrating our anniversary and we really enjoyed the overall experience. We had a lovely server named Maya who was very friendly and attentive to all our questions and requests. The food and drinks came out promptly and everything tasted amazing. Two things to mention - It was quite warm inside the restaurant that caused perspiration, and I noticed other people in the restaurant experience the same feeling. Secondly, in the ladies restroom, one of the cubicles door wouldn t close completely, therefore unable to use.

I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and I have to say, their Tomahawk steak is an absolute must-try. Cooked to perfection, the steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, with a beautiful char on the outside and a melt-in-your-mouth texture on the inside. The seasoning was spot on, and it was served with a perfect array of sides that complemented the meat wonderfully. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the service. Rohan, our waiter, went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional dining experience. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm smile and offered helpful recommendations on both the menu and wine pairings. He was attentive without being overbearing, checking in just the right amount to make sure everything was perfect. His knowledge of the menu and his friendly, professional demeanor made the evening even more special. If you re looking for incredible food and top-notch service, this restaurant is a must-visit. We made a reservation at Elements Bar and Grill for a table of six, looking forward to a great dining experience based on the restaurant s reputation. Unfortunately, our visit was far from what we had hoped. From the beginning, the service was underwhelming. Despite booking in advance and arriving on time, we waited an extraordinary two hours for our food. For a restaurant with such high standards and after spending $600 we expected prompt and attentive service. Instead, the delay left us frustrated and diminished the overall experience. However, the most concerning issue arose after the meal. Several members of our group fell ill shortly after dining, experiencing symptoms consistent with food poisoning. This was both alarming and extremely disappointing, as it cast doubt on the quality and safety of the food served. Given the significant investment we made, we feel let down by the lack of care and attention to detail in both service and food preparation. This experience has not only left us disappointed but has also raised serious concerns about the restaurant s food safety standards. I strongly urge management to take immediate action to investigate this matter and ensure no other patrons go through a similar experience. A restaurant of this caliber should prioritize food quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction, and in this case, all three fell short. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and reaches out to address the situation. I look forward to a resolution and hope these issues are resolved swiftly to restore confidence in what should be a premium dining establishment.

At a restaurant where you pay 38$ for a burger you don t expect to add an ingredient in front of you if they forgot it to add. The napkins were so smelly. There only one toilet for the whole restaurant. I wouldn t say the food was great compared to what you pay. I wouldn t recommend this place.

Vicki served us very well. Food is great, atmosphere is as well but the bathroom could do with a refurb.

Steaks were tender and beautifully charred. We ordered eye fillet & sirloin cuts. They came out with the right doneness. The mashed potato and sauce were delightful and properly made. Squid ink mafalda was amazing. The mafalda was in unity with the creamy sauce, and the prawns were fresh, firm, and nicely deveined. Garlic bread was delicious. Some sort of artisanal bread was used (ciabatta? sourdough?), so it was crispy on the outside. Sydney Rock Oysters were overpriced at $7.5 per shell, especially given the small size and lack of color. Grilled broccoloni and halloumi was OK. The halloumis were grilled for too long - it tasted a bit bitter. Truffle parmesan cheese fries and calamari rings were also just OK. Service was OK. Could be better. More smiles would be appreciated. Overall, would return for the steaks. After all, this place is best known for its steaks - which they nailed right on the head.

My wife and i had a special dinner there last evening. I am a 53yo guy who grew up on a farm and spent time in meatworks as a young man, so i have been around the meat industry half my life. THE MEALS... The olives entre dish was the clear hero of the night. Delicious. My wife chose the scotch fillet cooked medium. Served medium Her scotch fillet steak was full of inedible gristle and chewt fats that were unpleasant. -a great scotchy has actually quite enjoyable fat to eat. Your kitchen staff noticed the chewed up pieces on plate when plate was collected. My ms7 sirloin was ordered medium/ well done and with no visible blood please. -after seeing what happens in meatworks i like my meat cooked thoroughly. Steak was served at best medium, probably under with red juices everywhere. I chose to keep quiet and eat it because i was hungry AND your waitstaff were so friendly. -i didnt want to be that customer who complained about 2 meals. The atmosphere, friendly waitstaff and amazing setting made the night but for $300- i feel dissapointed tbh.

We arrived an hour early for our reservation but instead of making us wait the maître d happily accommodated our small group and led us to our table. As always the steaks are perfectly cooked and the service impeccable!

Overhyped. The service was terrible. My partner and I had a booking and we waited, 12mins after being seated before anyone came over to offer water. Even though there was a surplus of wait staff and multiple open tables. The water was then put in the glasses and as we went to order drinks, she promptly walked off, to stand off to the side and wait. Then after another 10mins waiting and trying to get their attention to no avail, we left.

Good place for the meat lovers. Prices are very correct. Recommended . Vicky the waitress was amazing and directed us to the right cut.

After spending over $200 for two meals now we are sitting at hungry jack to eat. 250 gram steak was 50 gram and it only came with small mash potato. The restaurant was so busy they changed our table three times although we booked it a few weeks ago and we requested a good table for my birthday. The resturant was so busy people were sitting just 20 cm away from me. We ate the while meal in 5 mins whuch was only 50 gram meat which costs of $200. Do not go to this place specially pyrmont branch It was a modern robbery

Hard to breathe sitting inside. Outdated and uncomfortable furniture. Cocktails watered down with sweetener. Waitstaff rush us as if we were in a takeaway. Waiter spilled our drinks twice with 2nd time glass broken across the table. Food is average, meat was good but pasta overcooked and over sauced. Would not recommend, there are better places for the price you pay. Pictures posted are not the real atmosphere (don t get me started on the toilets).

Terribly incompetent service. Waited 30 minutes for our drinks. Were offered 2 meals that weren t ours. Service Non existent really. Food is ok. But the Sunday roast looks nothing like advertised. Our experience at Elements was excellent from the start with our hostess Nilam who was very helpful and knowledgeable with the menu making it easy to select our food and drinks. Our cocktails were amazing, the food was devine and the Wagyu was cooked to perfection! Throughout the service Nilam was attentive to our needs and offered great service with a smile. We will be back again!

Posting this review late as I was holding it back but realised got to do the right thing to help others. Caught up with my mates here on the 20th October for dinner. It was my first time here as my friend recommended this place. Food by itself was great and cant complain. This review is not about the food but the appalling service which we received by mikayla. Our entree (calamari) after reminding twice came after the mains were served with no apology. We were told they ran out of garlic breads at 7 in the evening when the restaurant was half empty. Mikalya would just barge into our conversation while passing/approaching our table with some witty/ insulting one liners. I think she fergot to wear a smile at work that day. The final dagger was not getting us deserts menu after repeated reminder and switching off the heater while we were waiting for the menu. I only review/places on special times but this time unfortunately (presumably first time) was for an unpleasant one.

Great Viking steak and margarita

I love the Elements bar and grill franchise. I ve been to all their locations in Sydney and the food is always great. However this is the second time now I ve had terrible service from Mikayla. The first time I went to the pyrmont location I was on a date with my girlfriend at the time and Mikayla would continuously interject snar comments every time we interacted with her. If it wasn t for my gf calming me down and the great cocktails I would ve left the restaurant before our food came out. My second encounter with her (20/10/24) was very similar. Constant sarcastic, belittling comments that were just completely unnecessary every time she served us. Rude and brash for no reason. Our mains also took over a hour to come out. Our calamari entree also came out after our mains even though we reminded Mikayla multiple times about the calamari entree. And finally Mikayla billed us twice for the calamari even though we only ordered one. I ve had infinite fine dining experiences so I m plenty qualified to say that this type of server belongs in a McDonald drive through. Not a high class restaurant. Great complements to the chefs as always but unfortunately due to the service I won t be returning to the pyrmont branch anymore.

Amazing service from Vicki specifically food was delicious and my steak was cooked perfectly at rare. I was confused about the style of the venue with tvs on black and white Laurel and Hardy shows conflicting with the leather chesterfield look walls but overall if you ignore that good night and vibe. Tunes were fab. Service from Vicki and all staff was great, food and wine was on spec I d come again!

The dry age steak was good , but its not good as i imagine , i ve taste something better than this. The sirloin was perfect ! Overall was great ! Also good hospitality from indonesian staff called mas ananda.

Had a fantastic birthday lunch with great food and attentive service. Inside has very luxurious decor! Prices for food and drinks are quite high but overall quality is good. Some of the sirloins had sinew which was a bit disappointing considering the prices however they were all very well cooked. Flame grilled veggies are amazing and lots of parmasan cheese!! Everyone enjoyed it overall.

I visited with high expectations after seeing good reviews, but I was quite disappointed. I ordered a scotch fillet steak and requested it to be cooked medium-rare, but unfortunately, it was overcooked, so I asked for a replacement. Thankfully, they brought a new steak, and the cooking was fine, but it had too much fat and tough sinews, making it difficult to eat. I ended up throwing away about half of the 300-gram steak. Additionally, I ordered a pepsi max, but it tasted like sugary water with no carbonation. It seems like it was made with a spray system rather than coming from a can or bottle, so the machine might need some checking. I also requested a take way for the leftover food, which included some mashed potatoes that I didn t even touch because I was so full, but when I got home, I couldn t find the potatoes at all. I can t recall ever having such a disappointing meal for $200, so thank you for this unique experience.

Ordered the Tomahawk special with Tommy s Margaritas. Good value for the steak, however don t expect high quality beef at the price. The grey band appeared pretty significantly, where the outer part of the steak was well done. Although great show for carving the steak and blowtorching. Was not a fan of the side mashed potato Calamari tasted great with the tartare sauce and hot honey used. I believed it could ve been more crispier with a harder crunch. Dutch carrots were perfects. Had the chimichurri and veal jus which I was slightly disappointed with. The jus was not thick and was more on the watery side. The chimichurri lacked intensity in flavour and had a mushy texture

Mikayla was amazing!!! She ensured that we were looked after the moment we sat down to when we left. In all honesty every restaurant should have a waitress like her.

Nice restaurant, with a nice ambience, view and good service. Food was a bit of a let down, as we felt that the multiple combinations of ingredients was rather overpowering and underwhelming in terms of taste. Sometimes simpler is better. It was also a bit overpriced for what it was unfortunately. A nice place for a friends catch up though, and its nice they cater to many dietary requirements.

Absolutely amazing loved the vibe and the staff

Resturant has a classy decor and awesome vibe, seating was nice and service was fast and the staff were very helpful. But thats where it ends. the 119 dollar rib eye on the bone was the worst peice of meat for that price that I have ever had in my life. half of my steak was inedible it was chewy and had sinew all through it. I have had better at the local RSL. My partner had a scotch that was slightly under cooked but we had to share that as half of mine was rubbish. Mash potato was very nice but the garden salad was the highlight of the dinner (sad to say at a steak house) cucumber was fresh and the dressing was zesty. We came too try as we were going to have my birthday there with friends and family but I am now thinking otherwise. Really sad about it as I had high hopes. Unfortunately first impressions last.

Celebrated an anniversary dinner here over the weekend and was really happy with our experience here. Our server Vicki was so lovely and she was spot on with the recommendations and service. The food was delicious and the serving time was great. Would definitely dine here again. Thank you

Overall, our experience there was quite good. The quality of the meat we had from the t-bone was beautifully cooked. The chimichurri sauce we had was okay, but having a touch of salt with it made it even better. The corn ribs were quite delicious and grilled perfectly, the tartare we had beautifully seasoned. Even my uncle who doesnt eat raw food asked for a second plate. The portabello Mushroom were very soft and tender and worked perfectly with the sauce. The salad was one of my favourites. It was a perfect balance of sweet, slightly tangy, and cheesy. The pasta was not bad either. Overall, food was great, our waitress amazing (thanks Maddy) and the place looked awesome.

Best atmosphere and amazing service. Love burrata for entry, Unfortunately the mains wasn t that great, my porterhouse steak was chewy and no flavour. $245.00 way too expensive for such meal.
