My meal was sublime. A delicious squash soup and duck pasta. The best pasta I have eaten for sure. The price of the glass of wine put me off a little ($14) but were all in, great experience and no regrets. Parking: The parking lot was crowded but there was the possibility of going to the shopping center on the other side.

There were 2 Bar dishes that evening. I was served the wrong dish. Difficult for the customer to know which one we are being served. I was told this in the middle of the meal when we had started our plates. Difficult to understand how the staff did not realize this when serving. Plus, there was no wow factor to this plate. The same goes for my partner s meal (lobster penne). There was very little lobster and a full can of penne. Very expensive for little taste on the plate. Again, no wow factor. We will not return to this restaurant again.

Extraordinary service. The people are outgoing, welcoming and the service is personalized. I went there two evenings in a row and the second evening I was greeted by name. Well done to the whole team.

It has already been my favorite Friday lunch restaurant with my colleges from CHUL. I was disappointed with my dinner. The menu displayed 2 pages for the meal and 20 pages for the wines. Its good for people looking for a gastronomic experience. It could have improvements like having a table dhôte with the a la carte menu. Prices are expensive. For my part I will not return to Bistango

I ate at Bistango on Thursday October 3 in the evening. It was a gastronomic journey. I tried the signature menu. A pure delight. Absolutely worth a try, it s worth the detour. The welcome was equally excellent. A special thank you to Julie. And all those who received me so well. Above all, congratulations to the Chefs. Your tiramisu is the best I have eaten. I will come back when I pass through Quebec.

Great! I was a guest at the Alt Germain hotel and had all my meals there from Tuesday to Thursday. Varied choices! My meals were even brought to me in the hotel lobby where I loved eating there in the presence of my dog, Théo.

We really like staying at the Alt Hotel when we go to Quebec and one of the big advantages is that the Bistango restaurant is right next door. Always a big favorite for its impeccable cuisine and its friendly and attentive service! We will come back again and again, sure and certain! Parking: Very easy to park. Wheelchair accessibility: There are two places reserved for people with reduced mobility.

Superb experience at Bistango, 3rd time Ive been there and the 4-course menu (renewed each season) is always at the top level: quality of service, presentation of dishes and taste pleasure guaranteed! Exquisite cocktails, starters, dishes and soups of the moment. The icing on the cake = the wonderful desserts from Charlotte the pastry chef.

Everything was ok except the limited choice of meals. when the chosen theme (Jamaica I think) does not suit us, the choices are limited, especially when I go there regularly. The country chosen should be in addition to the table dhôte.

During our previous visits, made mainly in autumn or spring, we had been satisfied in every way. Unfortunately this week (August 15) the dishes did not live up to expectations. Sad to not have sweetbreads as indicated on the menu and which is generally tasty. The map has been shortened, it seems to me. We appreciated the exceptional dedication of the servers despite a longer wait between services. Thank you for the mistel served as compensation. We understand the situation regarding the lack of employees in the restaurant industry and we wish, despite this latest experience, to return to your table. Looking forward to it!

I went there for a mother-daughter outing for my teenagers birthday and she was won over. From the delicious food, through the personalized and warm service, to the desserts, she is still talking to me about it this morning (3 days later). This is definitely our new favorite restaurant in Quebec.

Until last week, Bistango was our favorite restaurant. However, we are very disappointed with our visit yesterday. The menu had little choice and the sea bream I ordered was overcooked and small in portion. However, I would like to say that the blood sausage dish was delicious and the starters original. Parking: Often we had to park at Place Laurier!

HORRIBLE SERVICE, server not friendly and not very attentive. The starter was mediocre, the dessert too, but the pasta that was served to me was cold and half-cooked. A $120 spent on an evening that left me with a bitter taste. TO AVOID

We took the signature menu formula and we were served with lukewarm dishes, dough which was not cooked, and a compassionate pre-dessert which was not good, in short for $60 per person we can see again, one of my worst experiences at the restaurant both in terms of gastronomy and in terms of staff, they are dry, they want your money, he kept asking me if I wanted something else in addition while I clearly answered no, in addition he asked me for more tip at the end already that I made the effort to give him some despite the experience I had, in short never to do.

The atmosphere of the restaurant and the service is OK. Not impressed with the food. The potage soup was excellent. The tartare was very ordinary. We were 3 of the group of 7 who had chosen it and who did not finish it. Food quality is present but choice of seasonings leaves something to be desired. Dietary restrictions: Food allergies are definitely considered and food adapted. Well done!

I have to admit that it was far from our #1 choice but it was plenty everywhere else. Well in the end we didnt regret this forced choice at all. It was our first experience, it was excellent! Parking: Parking is reimbursed if you eat there.

It had been at least three years since I had eaten at this restaurant that I have always loved. I found the change scandalous. The portions are so small that its completely insulting for the price. I am a small woman and have never been able to eat a multi-course meal. I always stick to just one main dish in the evening and Im full. The portion of beef tartare served to me was not very generous although delicious. But what insulted me was the tiny side portion (a mini salad and a half-full container of fries). However, salad and fries should not cost the most. My husband had the sweetbreads (a ridiculously small plate). Impossible to satisfy a mans appetite with that. Since we are not dessert people, we declined the invitation to purchase dessert at the end of the meal. Error !!! Result: We left the restaurant and we were as hungry as when we arrived. Conclusion of our experience in this restaurant: The food is delicious but it is better to have a 4 or 5 course meal to not be disappointed. We will not return to Bistango.

Impeccable service and excellent Wellington fillet

Second time we go there, second time we leave delighted. The food was very good. The beef Wellington fillet was excellent. The servers are very friendly and attentive. We finished with the 1000 sheets and the Richelieu 2.0 which is an absolutely incredible chocolate dessert! Very delicious, without being too sweet, very nicely presented... A delight.

We were a group of 6 and all took the 4 course menu. The others took other choices and appreciated it! For my part, I remained hungry. Service: good service. Wagyu beef starter: the piece of meat was really not up to par: very large pieces of fat difficult to chew. The sauce was delicious, however. Soup: excellent. Main Course (Arctic Char): Lacked flavor. I found it very ordinary. Dessert (mille-feuille): the filling was excellent, the leaf was tasteless, which made the dish rather bland. My partner had the deconstructed carrot cake and it was excellent. In the end, I left disappointed with my meal, but I enjoyed the evening and the other guests enjoyed their meal.

$40 for three small pieces of rabbit leaves rolled like sushi with two thin carrots, you are really exaggerating on the price.

I recently ate at the Bistango restaurant and was delighted with my order of lobster pasta, beef tenderloin and foie gras. The pasta was perfectly al-dente, with a creamy, rich lobster sauce, sprinkled with fresh herbs. The lobster was tender and flavorful, adding an elegant touch to each bite. As a side dish, the beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with just the right amount of spice and salt to complement the natural flavor of the meat. On top of all that, the foie gras arrived like a cherry on the cake - melt in your mouth, with a rich, creamy flavor. If youre looking for a dining experience thats both elegant and full of flavor, then these plates of lobster pasta, beef tenderloin and foie gras will not disappoint. The service was also unforgettable. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable, helping to recommend wines to pair with my dishes. Although the prices are relatively high, I can say without a doubt that this restaurant is worth every penny. Im rather spicy this evening so I didnt particularly like what I had but it was well made just not the right choice for my taste buds. The mocktails were great, atmosphere was great, the servers were charming. We had a great time as a family. Kid-friendliness: They are very flexible, no kids menu but you can say what you would like and they see what they can do in the kitchen.

We had a wonderful evening in your establishment. The dishes are very good and served with perfect dressing. The staff is very pleasant, attentive and above all very professional while maintaining a very pleasant touch of humor. In summary, a top restaurant, I recommend it without hesitation.

Traditional Italian cuisine re-visited. A delight for the taste buds and the eyes.

A blackberry kir and a Crown Royal (obviously!) to whet your appetite while enjoying a cozy atmosphere (muffled and relaxed) supported by a smiling and caring welcome. It starts with 3 (per person) tasty and spicy Asian corks (very nice little presentation). We continue with a creamy mushroom cream, spicy and welcome (but if the weather is gloomy, the atmosphere at Bistango is fortunately warm). We continue with a generous portion of melting monkfish in the middle of sweet potato puree and chips, roasted baby carrots and pieces of grilled pancetta: a taste success! And as long as we are gourmands/gourmets, we finish with a well-balanced chocolate-passion tartlet with a glass of ice cider (all the same!). Meal washed down with two glasses of Combaou (Côtes-du-Rhône with very strong red fruit aromas). This will remain a great memory of our Quebec trip, although it was already very rich in discoveries; French and Quebecois friends come to Bistango for a culinary break that you wont regret! Thank you to the whole team and in particular to the boss Sylvain, to our server Alain and to the cooks and pastry chefs.

I havent been back here since the start of Covid, and I had one of the best meals of my life last night. Wow. I have always found this restaurant excellent, I am happy to see that they have managed to remain as good.

Directed towards Le Bistango via recommendations, my partner and I went there as soon as it opened for lunch. I admit I was disappointed. From the photos and comments, I expected a lot more, especially for the prices displayed. The photos which offer very inventive dishes are in no way representative of what we were treated to. A mediocre salmon tartare and bland in taste accompanied by a salad simply placed on the plate. A steak of beef that is difficult to chew despite a request for rare cooking, all presented with literally 2 carrots and 4 broccoli. One of the highlights was the cold carrot, curry and coriander soup, very refreshing and strong in taste. A more personal weakness, the chairs on the terrace are noticeably rough. The armrests are too low and the flat legs of the chair tend to dig into the legs of the person seated. I will summarize our visit as half-hearted. The prices were there as the quality of the dishes and especially the presentation leaned towards false advertising.

The scallop risoto is succulent and what can we say about the desserts! Everything was perfect! THANKS!

The cuisine is excellent. Absolutely nothing to complain about, the cooking is perfect, the flavors well sought after. Special mention for the desserts. (Strawberry/mint/lime juice is amazing) The portions are correct, we come away well from a 4 course. Free underground parking. Cozy, chic atmosphere, with jazzy music.

Its been at least 10 years since I came to this restaurant. It can no longer be called gourmet. Short menu which oscillates between that of a bistro (e.g. beef tartare) or that of a more sophisticated cuisine (e.g. veal sweetbreads) There is no guest card or daily specials, but you can choose 4 courses à la carte for $70. Fresh oysters served on a bed of salt were accompanied by lemon wedges and shallot wine vinegar. The leek starter was tasteless, the one with 1 (!) scallop served on pieces of butternut squash was more successful. The pumpkin soup was excellent. The Icelandic cod was probably thawed and bland. He should not offer fish on the menu that is not fresh. The duck breast served rare in large 5 cm cubes was tender on a bed of pureed parsnips. The desserts were the most successful elements of the meal. Uninteresting wines by the glass. The gin and ginger cocktail turns out to be too sweet and tastes like koolaid. 1 cocktail + 6 oysters + 1/4 l of wine + $70 (4 courses) = $130/person before tax and tip. I dont remember if that included coffee.
