Mainstay serving French seafood, steaks & foie gras in a refined setting with a wine cellar & patio.
We had the most fantastic team dinner for 20 guests here. The food, service and setting was wonderful. We booked the private room upstairs and had our private bathroom. There was space for us to mingle and have a few pre-dinner drinks. (Note upstairs room is not ADA accessible). I worked with Ianny to build a set menu for our guests and they included the soup, dessert and tea/coffee. The food was so delicious with generous portions. Every dish had multiple textures and layers of flavor. Very authentic French food in a traditional setting. Very reasonably priced for this quality of food and portion size. Ianny and his staff made sure everything was setup perfect. It was a fun and enjoyable evening! Thoroughly recommend this restaurant!
The Argentinian shrimp was very salty and the peppercorn sauce was terrible, The octopus salad has a very fishy smell ... the overall balance of sauces was so off 😩 so disappointing experience
Had a very nice dinner here. The service was great, they let us choose our table. For starters we had lobster rice balls which were very tasty. I had the naked oat risotto, delicious. My wife had Argentine red shrimp spaghetti which was outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
It’s ok, but it’s a lazy service to this price, I don’t like that. I had foie gras and french snails, taste very average. Especially the foie gras, it’s over salted and not much the natural aroma of the fat that I could taste. And they keep asking me coffee or tea… I hope you get better communication and make it more convenient for the customers. And if you don’t ask, they charge for every small thing very expensively. Like the 11$ sparkling water, and they don’t have English menu for lunch, all the emphasis is on dinner menu that they earn more…The daily special of cake is great tho. Spent me 73$ for one person. Wouldn’t recommend visiting, and wouldn’t want to visit again.
Excellent service! Our server was amazing, very attentive and gave great food recommendations. We had the lobster linguini, and did not disappoint! Great atmosphere!
Are lunch here on a Friday. Not busy. Sat outside. Service was quick and friendly. Food was excellent - Arancini au homard dish and porc medallions dish.
First of all we got the wrong order after we been waiting for 40 minutes and then waiting for 30 minutes to get the right order,we orderd the side filet for 35$ and half lobster for 40$,the waitress charges 55$ for a full filet and 50 $ for a full lobster ,we mentioned that to the waitress and she bluntly said thats what we orderd, be careful when your paying the bill at that place .
I can't believe I didn't do a review last year, but it is coming up on the one-year anniversary since we ate there. In short: this is one of the best meals I have purchased in my life. We wandered in during lunch and found it empty. We walked back to find the owner vacuuming. "Hard to hire help" so he only has dinner. He was so pleasant that we came back for dinner, and we are so glad we did. You can see by the picture that there is artistry in the preparation. The tastes were distinct when necessary and the blends were perfect. Thank you for a perfect meal!
Only good words for Louis Hébert. Fast and courteous service and the food is extremely good at very reasonable prices! In my opinion one of the best value for money in Quebec.
Amazing! The dishes at this bistro were delicious. I tasted the duck arancini and the guinea fowl dish was sublime. The atmosphere of the restaurant adds a lot to the bistro experience as well as the very friendly servers. The value for money is excellent, you will not be disappointed with the quality.
Food and drinks: Beau menu, nourriture excellente, belle carte de vins et cocktails. Service exceptionnel.
The food was EXCELLENT and the prices were very reasonable. The restaurant was very charming. The service was so fast, it was unheard of for us. Our server (Steve I think) was very professional and very kind. I recommend this restaurant 100%. Well go there when we return to Quebec. THANKS
Good foods and excellent services
Great combination of everything. Food is amazing.
Obliged to ask for the entry included in the childrens menu at 20 dollars. The difference between the $17 starter salmon tartare and the $33 main course salmon tartare comes down to a portion of fries.
The bedtime meal is worth it. It was excellent from the starter to the dessert (crème caramel), its the best!
Great food and presentation.
Food is Awesome
Some dishes are interesting (octopus salad and redfish roulette for example) while others are very bland (asparagus and scallops). The dessert is plentiful, the waiter was antiphatic, I asked what a Brazilian cake was and he coldly told me a white chocolate cake... In addition, the service, however, really leaves something to be desired. We were seated on the terrace (which was empty at the time) and placed in the only place where the heating was broken. Not knowing this, we ask to turn on the heating and casually he tries to turn it off. 5 minutes later we have to ask again whats going on because its still cold and its starting to smell like gas. We are told that he knew it and that is broken!! The worst thing is that he doesnt offer us a place to move, so we have to get tired of it and want to leave so they can change places. The worst part is that when the bill came, the waiter had the nerve to criticize my tips even though I offered more than 20% of my remaining bill. So what matters for this restaurant is what can be put in their pockets and not the comfort of their customers.
Very nice food and services. Steven is the best .
Very good restaurant, very good food and excellent service.
Food and drinks: Hohe Qualität Service
Best restaurant in Quebec
Always a great address on Grande Allée is in Quebec. Attentive service, good French cuisine, good sauces. Reasonable wine list with plenty of choice. I like the main room with its stone walls. Food and drinks: at lunchtime, table dhôte menu. In the evening, à la carte menu, starters, main courses and dessert. reasonable price considering the situation
Beautiful atmosphere! Excellent service and my lobster plate was exquisite!!
Treble service. Waiters mind their own business and dont care about customers.
The food is excellent and the servers are very nice!
We went for supper bc Im a big fan of Louis Hébert, the first European who moved (& grew weed) & we wanted to try the steak! The sauce was too salty but the cut was perfect. Entree bisque also too salty and little seafood in it. Desserts were great! Table dhote was very affordable for the location on Grande Allée.
(English/ Español/ Francais) I went here yesterday after the parade for the Quebec carnival. TOURISTS, DO NOT VISIT! YOUR BUSINESS IS NOT WELCOME! This old person at the front was extremely rude, took forever just to get our order. I should NOT have given him any tip. Please fire him. Flee after the Quebec carnival festival. TOURISTAS, NO VISITEN! YOUR NEGOTIATION IS NOT BIENVENIDO! This old calf has been demaciado grossero, tomo una eternidad para tomar nuestra orden. No debia dejar propina. Porfavor despidelo. I went there yesterday after the Quebec carnival parade. TOURISTS, DO NOT VISIT! YOUR BUSINESS IS NOT WELCOME! This old person at the front was extremely rude and took forever just to receive our order. I should NOT have tipped him. Please fire him.
Magnificent restaurant. Exquisite french cuisine. A very classy and tasty restaurant. Great quality food/ingredients. You must give it a try. Amazing service!
Food and staffs are needed to be improved:( Food and drinks: Food and staffs are needed to be improved:( Rooms : 1/5 |
A very nice place, everyone very friendly, very good location for everything, buses, tourist area, etc.
Excellent steak and fettuccine. waiter was very nice. everyone including me licked their plate clean. Plentiful portions. definitely recommend for lunch and dinners.
Good team that speaks English, tasty food and good choice of wines, pricy but you got for what you pay
Wow, what excellent food and outstanding service. Very good value for money. Not to be missed! Nearby activities: Roof is close. Walkability: On the Grande Allée
Always excellent and quality food. Really nice staff. I go there often and its always a great experience.
Good and beautiful restaurant. The service is perfect, thank you to the waiters! I really liked the salmon tartare with fries for lunch. The log was good. Im taking away a star because a regular size latte (smaller than at Starbucks) at $7 is frankly exaggerated in price.
The best fillet mignon Ive ever had. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Would love to come again.
Simply fabulous
The meal was excellent ! I was expecting a slightly pretentious service, but not at all! Everything was perfect. This is the first time Ive enjoyed my experience so much. The restaurant is magnificent, we were seated near the window. THANKS ! Your restaurant added to the magic of Christmas in Quebec.
Went there for lunch during week days. Food is good and service is okay. The quantity in the plate are poor in my opinion for the price you pay.
This is a restaurant that you have to discover. Very good food, good portion, refined flavor, excellent service. It was memorable...
Lovely room, delicious food and good service! We had a pleasant evening.
A big 5/5!
Excellent service meal starter main course dessert. We will return for sure
Excellent service and exceptional food.
had salmon tartare and mushroom risotto, very very good
magnificent place very good impeccable service I recommend you 100%
I had the Rockefeller oysters as a starter, the beef cheeks for the main meal and a carrot and mascarpone cake. Really delicious.
Food was great ! Good portions, service and even coffee. Will return.
Excellent in EVERYTHING! The whole family appreciated the place for its friendliness, the atmosphere, the meal and especially the service of our hostess Mélanie (a gem!). Congratulations to all the Louis Hébert team, our family evening was unforgettable and immense. Thank you!
Delicious quality meal in perfect quantity! Impeccable and attentive service, the staff is professional and smiling. I am extremely satisfied every time! Delicious food, impeccable service. I recommend 5 stars.
The service was very good, the dishes were hot, the food was tasty and in satisfactory quantity
It is a restaurant with a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. The menu is generally delicious. I highly recommend salmon-based food.
Excellent varied choices very original. Very tasty
A refreshing restaurant, with an excellent European charm to it. We had dinner in the garden, and the atmosphere was exceptional. Will come again :)
Wow. So good. Just amazing food. Top service. Highly recommended!
OMG. This was the most amazing restaurant in Quebec City. MUST have the Lobster Navarin. It was the most delicious dish I have ever had - and I have traveled all over the US and Europe. Lovely location. Our server and the manager were amazing. Can t go wrong here. I would come back anytime. Food and drinks: Mayst go to the restaurant here.
Thank you Mélanie for your good service
Always impeccable
Came for our anniversary dinner and so glad we did. Rack of lamb and filet mignon were superb. Staff very friendly and professional. Totally recommended this restaurant for French cuisine.
Awesome service and great taste of food, will definitely come back again
We held a private business event at the room upstairs, and both the servers and the food were amazing! We were a large group, with very particular needs and Louis-Hébert staff were patient and kind with us the entire evening. We would definitely recommend them for your private dinners or meetings. Food and drinks: Food & wine was outstanding!
We were looking forward to it, but it was a very disappointing result. The food is delicious, five stars, but the service is zero. I wont be guided to my seat. There are a lot of staff, no one paid attention to us. Serve to local customers seemed to be the top priority. Foreign customers like us who are left behind by staffs chatting with local customers. If we hadnt been ignored, we would probably have been forgotten.
For me it was a visit to the restaurant on the terrace...my meal was delicious!!!...I would rate it an 11 out of 10.. And great service.
Good food, more than an hour of waiting for the dishes to arrive. Go go hurry.
This was expensive but the food was very good. I have never had French food before so it was a change and I enjoyed it. The French Canadian waiters and waitresses were great. I felt bad as I wasnt quite sure I gave enough of a tip. I was tired at the time so may have miscalculated how much I should give. Food and drinks: One of my friends was recommended nice wine by the waiter.
Liked the portion of the dishes. Salmon was cooked nicely, juicy and delicious.
What stands out from our visit this evening is that despite very high traffic, the kitchen delivers impeccable dishes, without cutting corners, as good as usual. The service is also very attentive, you feel at home. We love this restaurant, and the wine list phew! A real little gem. Thank you Tommy for giving us this experience each time we visit. Until next time. Nearby activities: Plains of Abraham Walkability: On Grande-Allée Food and drinks: Outstanding wine list
I went there with my partner on Sunday July 16, we wanted to have a good bottle of $$$. They refused us, under the pretext that they dont want customers to drink. I went there last week with 1 other couple where I spent $750. Bravo Louis Hebert you have just lost 1 client, I would say quite influential, its up to you!!!
It was excellent from starter to dessert and the service was impeccable.
The food was amazing. The service was great.
Very unsatisfied. Service was mediocre (definitely NO FINE DINING!!). We ordered the Argentinian red shrimp linguine and the brazed beef cheek, both to share between me and my wife. Both dishes came in within 5 minutes from ordering!! (fine dining??). The linguine dish was average. But the worst was the brazed beef cheek: this dish did not look nor tasted fresh: the outside was hard and the inside dry. We guesses it had been re-heated - how can you cook such a dish in 5 minutes??). We asked for a suggestion for the wine and the lady server told us, The wine list is over there (pointing to the table next to us) We ate the linguine, but did not touch the beef and complained with the server, who in turn called the manager. The manager took away the dish and admitted that we were right with our complaint. He offered to replace it with another dish. We should have left right then and there, instead we decided to give them another chance and ordered the hen dish. The latter, again, came within 5 minutes!!?? The hen had a very bland taste, nonetheless we ate it, after all it was getting late to try to book another restaurant. We complained with the manager, again, and let him know that we were very unsatisfied and that the service and food did not meet the expectations of their ratings. The manager only said, I am sorry . So we paid the bill in full and left. About 10 minutes later, while we were walking nearby, the manager asked us if we wanted to speak with their chef. We agreed and told this person (we later learned from another source that he was a sous-chef or just someone in the kitchen who spoke english) the same thing. He agreed with us that the beef was not right and then added, it was not cooked enough That was a lie because the beef was overcooked , not undercooked! They offered us some free dessert, but we declined. Too late! What a disappointment in this place. We had made a reservation (strongly recommended), but the place was actually empty.
Excellent meal on the heated patio , we tried the braised beef cheek and duck confit.
I cannot comment on the rooms because we never stayed there. However, we spent one of the best evenings ever in this magnificent restaurant. 5 stars is hardly enough for the quality of the food and the service we received during the meal. A dream team for the success of the restaurant. Im going to do the 4.5 hour drive again just to taste such succulent dishes success to the chef and our magnificent and humorous waitress
Good food and authentic French style.
Very nice restaurant, very good service, excellent food.
My husband and I and our son ate here for a very special occasion. They have an extensive wine menu and truly delicious entrees, the service was great and not too overbearing. We enjoyed our hours of sitting on the patio amongst the flowers and taking in the Quebec City night life. This is a must visit when in Quebec City and we truly recommend it for special occasions, as well. I should add that they have delicious desserts on their menu.
Absolutely delicious food! Great service by Dave, our server.
The high class restaurants of the Grand Allée!! owners present with high class service too. Not the cheapest, but the quality is there every time!
Very good!
Excellent service and very good food! I highly recommend
Tonights culinary journey led us to Louis Hebert in Quebec City, a gem that perfectly marries traditional charm with contemporary elegance. The restaurants interior, a harmonious blend of historic stone walls, classic wainscoting, and ornate tin tray ceilings, created an inviting ambiance. Setting the tone for our gastronomic experience was Lucas Giaccos Seven Days in Sunny June, a melody that subtly filled the background. Our evening commenced with inventive cocktails. The L Avelanche a vibrant mix of Vodka, Curaçao bleu, lime juice, and soda was a refreshing opener. Meanwhile, the classic vodka martini, with its crisp and clean profile, was a testament to the timeless. The arrival of a thinly sliced, toasted French baguette set the stage for the culinary delights to follow. Its crunchy texture and warm, inviting aroma were a simple yet satisfying pleasure. The appetizer selection was a showcase of the kitchens creativity. The escargot encased in puff pastry, bathed in a luscious cheese sauce featuring Saint Honoré de Portneuf cheese, honey, and roasted hazelnuts, was a standout. Accompanying this was a vibrant mixed salad and a bowl of lobster bisque, enriched with Nordic shrimps and a dollop of sour cream - a dish of comforting complexity. For our main courses, the Roasted Guinea Hen Supreme for her was a masterful preparation. Stuffed under the skin with a flavorful mushroom blend, it was paired with mashed parsnips, red cabbage seared with bacon, and a juniper-infused poivrade sauce a symphony of flavors. For him, the Braised Beef Cheek, prepared bourguignonne style, was the epitome of comfort. Accompanied by Nantes carrots, rich Yukon gold mashed potatoes with cheese, and brussels sprouts, it was a dish of heartwarming indulgence. Though the dessert offerings were tempting, we concluded our meal with signature cappuccinos, a perfect end to an exquisite dining experience. Louis Hebert is indeed a noteworthy discovery in Quebec Citys vibrant food scene, offering an exceptional dining experience that comes highly recommended.
Beautiful restaurant with a nice cozy atmosphere and good service. Dish of filet mignon good and tender but the accompanying vegetables were not up to par, small potatoes that could have been served for breakfast and broccoli without flavor for my taste. Generous tartare dish as desired. To be perfect for my partners taste, the quantities of green onions could have been less abundant to maintain the finesse of the salmon. Desserts, simply masterpieces.
Truly delicious duck confit pie
Excellent food and exceptional service!!
A little expensive
Beautiful and good restaurant, but nothing more! Presentation not very appetizing for the main meal, but very appetizing for the starter. I tried 3 different main meals and its honestly not very gourmet, but worth a try.
Great service. Very fresh salmon tartare. The starters were delicious. Beautiful evening. Warm place.
good food, good service, good location.
Excellent food for the most part. Nice place but not over the top, paper napkins, basic flatware. Professional, courteous service. Misses were on timing, with large gaps between courses and issues with a couple of dishes. The chicken was hard and very hot, as if it had been microwaved. The fois gras tasted only fatty with very little flavor, a fail. All the other food was outstanding. A very good meal and experience, overall.
Very good French restaurant
Excellent meal, excellent service and lovely atmosphere
This was a delicious meal! From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience with our teenagers!
Excellent service very good food I recommend it
Good service, very good food
A nice meeting with French friends At Louis Hebert a warm welcome Sincere and high quality food Simply WONDERFUL and worth repeating Congratulations for sure....to all
Always a tasting pleasure!
The atmosphere and service is great. For example, the dishes are too expensive for what they are.
What a great discovery this restaurant is. I who believed more in a restaurant for tourists, what was my astonishment to discover a place with a highly tempting menu and dishes. Very attentive service. Experience to repeat.
Very good.
Very nice starter, it was super good, everything went well together. very nice presentation. On the other hand, the tartare meal, I asked if it was like the starter but bigger, the waitress told me yes, However, once I received the plate, no beetroot chips, but rather the croutons offered at the start of the meal, which I had to ask for. The tartare was very spicy, yet nowhere do we see that it is listed spicy... I ask to change it and the waitress seemed bothered that I asked her, because I want to taste the taste of salmon, and not just spicy.. The childrens menu should have 2 varied prices, because $20 for each childs meal, a very small bowl of alfredo and a poutine, with vegetable cream, and ice cream and biscuit. The crème brûlée was good, and the sugar perfect for me.
Let me just share my experiences, it was fantastic and beyond delicious. So I messed up and drove to Quebec city last minute with my family and didnt make no reservations. We wanted seafood and we got turned down by a few restaurants because first we had kids and 2nd we didnt have a reservation. So when Tafik from Morocco said he was OK for us to bring in kids we were just relived. I couldnt believe it they had fantastic kids menu , the kids loved the soup and their meals as well. When it came to my wife an I , we started with their seafood sharing plate and ordered oysters on the side. It was incredibly tasteful. I grabbed the rack the lamb and wife stuck to the lobster salad. She normally dips into my plate. not this time she was truly satisfied with her meal and for me like wow , best lamb chop Ive ever , and Ive been to New Zealand and had lamb chops there. Not sure what else was in it .. but it had lots of favour and it was an unusually thicker slab of meat , which was perfect because I could hold the lamb chop from the bone and have a large mouthful size in meat to chew on. if you are a family, I highly recommend coming here , not only will your kids love it bit so will the parents .
Best place around!!
Very good! To go there at least once in your life
An incredible restaurant. The beef cheek is extraordinary.
This was a lovely restaurant, the food portions match the prices. The food was delicious, would definitely recommend checking this place out. However, the bread was a bit stale and the butter was served in packages which set a mildly negative tone for the meal
Nice menu Affordable lobster à la carte Serious and efficient service A good address in Quebec
We were surprised that the manager came to fish us in the street. Its quite unexpected. A little mistrust quickly dissipated by the welcome and the service. The room staff is very professional and very friendly. The cuisine is very well mastered with fresh, quality products. An excellent address.
Good service and good food. Both the duck and beef cheeks were tasty. Too expensive.
Good food, well done, not too badly presented. Its pretty good!!! The prices are correct. Beautiful wine list with lots of references and beautiful bottles. Average service, simple, which does not highlight the cuisine
Fantastic high end quebecois cuisine. I found my plate, veal and scallops with barley risotto, to not be totally worth what they were charging but the dish was still excellent. My girlfriends duck confit and linguini dish was truly incredible, though. I highly recommend that one! We ate outside so I cant really comment on ambiance.
Absolutely amazing! A perfect welcome and high quality service. A clean establishment, to offer you absolutely sublime dishes! Beef cheeks Parmesan fondue Flank steak Salmon gravlax Wow Wow Wow
The Food was beyond delicious. We ordered lamb and fish all was good.
Quick and excellent meal during the festival!
Great service. The beef cheek was perfectly tender.
A very nice French restaurant, great service and good food. Highly recommended.
Good little restaurant on the main avenue. The food is good and they bring us good hot bread. The terrace is good. Nice little restaurant.
Just, SUPER GOOD Perfect cooking of the side dish of green beans as a starter, I hope to find some just as good at home! The dish, pulled linguine, with its port mushroom sauce, I dont like alcohol like port and I thought I was going to like the sauce and thats the case, great! To finish, carrot cake with I dont know what, in any case, I recommend, atypical and very good!
Excellent restaurant, very good food . Superb service .
Every wedding anniversary, for years, we have been going to eat at Louis-Hébert.....It is always impeccable with excellent meals, for a long time with our waitress Francine, retired now, and so kind/friendly owner Mr. Antoine, as well as his excellent chef...We got married at the Napoléon Bonaparte, right next to the Louis-Hébert and we always went to eat at the Louis-Hébert...
5 of us went for a birthday, during the FEQ. We ate very well and excellent service.
Beautiful space, delicious food, attentive service.
Exceptional dining experience. Impeccable service. Mélanie a big plus. We had a wonderful evening. We recommend this restaurant. Big favorite!
Great and smiling staff! Delicious and well presented dishes, I highly recommend.
Magnificent terrace on Grande-Allée in the heart of the excitement of old Quebec! We were treated to impeccable service from everyone and the meal was flawless! A memorable evening!
This evening it is not at your place that we were going to eat. But, the restaurant where we had reserved, after 12 minutes stood in the entrance waiting for no greeting from any employee. So we left because it was starting out pretty bad. We passed your restaurant. First, the young girl at reception, well dressed, smiling, friendly and polite. Subsequently welcomed by 2 gentlemen, no rather gentlemen welcomed us on the terrace a bit as if we were special guests, we like that . And what can we say about the more than perfect service from Mélanie Smiling, caring, good advice and dynamic. Thank you for allowing this evening to change direction for our greatest pleasure. We will come back
Very nice atmosphere good service the food is good
Delicious dinner, and attentive service but with a long wait for the dishes to arrive.
The price of eating in this place is very high, a glass of wine, a plate of meat with vegetables and a coffee 65 dollars plus tips
The dishes were delicious, particularly the linguine with pulled duck, but the salmon tartare was a little too spicy and not filling enough. There is a childrens menu for 20 CAD, with soup, main course and dessert, which we would all have had , zucchini soup, salmon and ice cream with strawberries and chocolate, very good too. The house wine is very pleasant to accompany the meal. Rather quick service for La Grande Allée and the dinner crowd.
We loved everything about this Restaurant. Thank you Antoine for recommending it to us.
THANKS. Beautiful gastronomic experience. Wheelchair accessibility: At street level
Decent food, excellent service, lovely patio, when it rained, they quickly moved us inside, which also was lovely
Food was delicious
An excellent welcome and outstanding service from Mélanie.
Excellent food and the service of Geneviève, smiling, kind and professional, it was a wonderful evening
Super restaurant with delicious dishes. Service was excellent and there is an extensive wine list.
Perfect food and service. We loved every dish that we ordered, and this is a restaurant that I would love to try every single dish. Will come back again.
Great french cuisine
Tradition, well established restaurant. Have to try...
Best food and service in Quebec city
Visiting Old Quebec and was looking for good French place to eat. Found them on Google and their good exceeded expectations. Staff was friendly responsive and over all amazing experience. Braised beef cheek is for sure to order .
This was an excellent meal. Great service. Delicious food. Not ridiculously expensive. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would go back for sure. The cream of mushroom soup was the best I ve ever had and the beef cheek main dish was incredible. For dessert I split the maple crème brûlée, which was fabulous. We also enjoyed cocktails and wine with dinner. The wine just had a lot of good selections.
Best meal Ive ever had In a while and great s
The delicious food
Perfect location and attentive service! I recommend for a romantic dinner.
Sooo good. Loved that the dishes were not heavy but had so much flavour. Had the arctic char and crab cakes for appetizer and the salmon in duck fat as main. Trio of sorbets for dessert. Delicious!
Over price food. Small food portions. The waitress scan us and profiled us. Not the place to go and eat when you are hungry, ended up in another restaurant to complete a real dinner for half of price. Disappointed with the amount of food served, for the priced paid.
Impeccable, warm service. Excellent filet mignon. Water and bread are renewed without problem. This was our 2nd visit, a perfect score for a second time. Well done!
Its a must for us when we go to Quebec
The salmon tartare as a starter was one of the best Ive eaten! Excellent service
An unforgettable festive dinner for me, the impeccable service from the maître dhôtel, as well as the friendly waitress, everything was delicious. Rack of Veal wow. the wine the seafood platter. I recommend this wonderful restaurant.
As usual, a high quality classic, but not exceptional.
Warm place and excellent food.
I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I expected much better, for a renowned restaurant like this. For the starter, I asked for the saffron mussel soup. I instead received a very salty soup. The croutons were in the soup which made them soggy. As for mussels , there was only one. I was expecting a lot more mussels, since its in the name of the dish. As for that, they should have written mold without s . With the starter, we received small croutons and butter. I asked the waiter if the bread was made by them and it wasnt even that. It looked more like industrial bread. As for the butter, it was in small cups. I thought I was in the cafeteria of my old high school. For the main meal, I had scallops and sweetbreads. There were only three small scallops on my plate. There was way too much potato for my taste. Also, the sauce was very sweet. I was extremely disappointed. As for the service, it was really ordinary. One of the waiters overflowed my glass of water, refilling it. He didnt even apologize or wipe up the water. In short, I do not recommend this restaurant. Its clearly not worth the price. I advise you instead to go to a really good restaurant such as Ophelia which is also on the Grande Allée. You may pay $20 more, but the food and service will be worth it.
Excellent restaurant, an excellent discovery for us
One of the good restaurants on the Grande-Allée in Quebec.
Very good restaurant, delicious and ample quantity! No more room for dessert!
Impeccable, friendly service and an excellent meal.
Delicious. Super friendly staff.
My partner and I went looking for a romantic experience at this restaurant and the staff did not let us down. Theyve been operating for over 40 years, and the first bite of anything you order will explain exactly why. A picturesque scene of French fine dining done the right way left us feeling blissful and completely satisfied. Highly recommended! Thank you to Louis-Hébert for a lovely experience that transported us to Parisian Europe
Excellent restaurant offering tasty French cuisine with well-prepared dishes, at reasonable prices. Excellent service
As always, well done to the whole team
