We ate at this restaurant today. Appetizer was delicious. Pizza arrived and first bites were yummy. But a few bites into pizza, found a piece of glass (approximately 0.5 x 0.75cm). We left immediately. The server was very apologetic. However, we did not see anyone from kitchen or management. Very concerning kitchen practices.

Best pasta I had this year of 2024. The server owner were all so nice. Food was terrific. Most pastas are expected to be salty, but the vongole we had wasnt, and the angel pasta was evenly cooked.

The Italian restaurant was a huge disappointment. The food arrived cold and tasteless, the portions were small, and the prices were ridiculously high for what they offered. The service was slow and inattentive, it felt like they didn t care at all. The atmosphere was noisy and far from cozy. Definitely wouldn t go back or recommend it.

The Alfredo pasta was truly tasteless. The server tried rushing us out even though there were quite a few empty tables and there weren t any customers in queue.

The absolute worst pizza I ve ever had in my life! The restaurant should be embarrassed. It was worse than a frozen pizza, and honestly, I think it was a little mini frozen pizza . I haven t had pizza in a really long time and I was looking forward to it and googled best pizza place in Quebec city and it popped up and I thought I would try it. Do not try this if you have any food since for any quality or something that taste good it was disgusting. Worse than frozen.

After walking around Old Town on a chilly afternoon, my family and I decided to get some pizza. We saw Polina from across the street and knew instantly we wanted to eat there. We were welcomed with smiles to this quaint pizzeria. At the entrance, we walked in right behind the guy delivering fresh pizza dough. This was a great sign that everything is made fresh. Theres a warmth to this place, and the scent of fresh Basil from the Basil pots they have alongside the windows and fresh pizza really make you long for some Margherita pizzas. So we ordered a large Margherita and a large Cheese Pizza. We also got some fries on the side. Everything was delicious!!! Fresh, fresh, Fresh and tasty! We sat in the corner by a window, so we go to people watch as well. We did not want to leave! Our servers name was Matt and he was really great at checking up on us and refilling the drinks! We highly recommend this place and we look forward to going there again!

We didnt wait to get a table and the server was really very, very friendly. On the other hand, for the kitchen, my husbands pizza is nothing other than a frozen pizza, with water in it. What a lovely restaurant. My husband had spaghetti Bolognese, I had their French onion soup (wonderful). We shared a Caesar salad (I think they missed the garlic but it was very good) and a garlic bread. Were going back tonight. Our 11yo chose this place for a late dinner tonight and it absolutely delivered. Super friendly staff, incredible food, good vibes and great tunes. We had the spaghetti vongole which was loaded with white clams. Also, the lasagne was top notch. A perfect serving size and make sure you ask for their chili oil to drizzle over it. You wont be disappointed. Oh and for those who enjoy the tunes, they are using a YouTube playlist called Vintage Reggae Cafe. I added it as a favorite so we can play this back home in our backyard patio. Overall 5 out of 5. Cant wait to come back. Etienne was our server and he was very welcoming and friendly. The RESIST ever treatment received in this Restaurent. Never had such experience in US/Canada trips we made till now. At the Restaurent, We were first in the line, but people behind us given priority, even when people behind us try to tell the restaurant guy that we were supposed get in ! But he said something big statement in French (he knows English, and we don t ) and he took them inside. Then other lady comes with surprise face, for what other guy did ! Then same guys made sure people he got in get the food on time, but we waited for 45min and he comes to us with a message sorry food order slip for you guys got messed up in kitchen and we just started with your order . Again we wait for another 15min, no one reach to us. When we decided to leave, they didn t care at all !! Even when I explained all above situation. And they response You Guys can Leave, it s OK !! Is this we expect in COLOURFUL Quebec Old City Restaurent ? Treat is different for our COLOUR ? We got EQUALITY treatment in BELLO Ristorante in same street ! They didn t treat us different for our COLOUR. So, it s just these guys POLINA Pizzeria should learn to treat people with Humanity, but not Color and/or Language. My one review comment may not make difference today, but definitely it should be wake up call to POLINA Pizzeria owner/owners., and educate their staff well.

The cheese pizza was simply a 1/10 and i do NOT recommend even getting it, the margarita pizza was good though and it tasted actually appetizing unlike the cheeze pizza.

Would have given more stars, but the person in charge of the money tried to double charge us the amount of the tip. Watch and make sure that what you are giving for tips is reflected correctly in the change when you pay cash. Otherwise, the food and service were great.

Gave one star because no way of giving zero stars. The woman who seem to be the manager was very rude. We arrived for dinner and they didn t seem to have table for 4, they had a party of 8 that came after us go before. But the biggest problem was that a customer party of 2 was sitting on a table for 4 and offered to switch to a table for 2, the manager refused his offer and after a few minutes came back and mumbled something in french and closed the door on our faces. Understand if you are full but the rudeness of closing the door in our faces. Totally out of place and unnecessary. Thankfully there was a very nice and friendly Italian restaurant next door called Parmesan, that save dinner

we were first in line for a table. the hostess was nice but the manager was beyond rude. door was open when we arrived (party of 4). the party of 8, behind us, was seated first. a lovely couple had been seated at a table for 4 and actually offered to move to a table for 2. manager said no and proceeded to shut the door in our faces without a word. did I mention it was pouring rain? we left, and were truly offended by this rude manager. dinner was delicious next door at Parmesean restaurant,and service was delightful!

We had the La Dulce Vita pizza, garlic bread, and Greek salad. All were delicious. The garlic bread was very garlicky and the dough was saturated with olive oil like focaccia. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. They had big, healthy basil bushes in pots in all the windows.

We loved this restaurant so much that we went two days in a row! Everything was delicious, and we really liked the decor. The wait staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive and were bilingual in French and English. We especially loved the Mediterranean salad with chicken, the garlic bread, the Dolce Vita pizza and the garlic bread. The flowers outside are lovely.

A great place to enjoy a warm and delicious pizza, specially if you have dietary restrictions. The place is vegetarian and vegan friendly. Yet no compromise with taste.

We were greeted by Tayna when we were walking by the restaurant with such a great smile that we couldnt resist eating in the restaurant. Our server, Esteban was extremely helpful in offering me the sample of wine which I wasnt sure to order. Brought our wine and food promptly and served with a great flair. Overall we are very happy and would like to visit again.

Oh yes. He created a big scene if we did not like the food we would not tell it on your face that s unethical.. that s why the tip was low and the waiter wow. .. I never gave a bad review to anybody in my life but here you go you made me do that now... teach him some manners, we are not your competitors or that we want to ruin your business so if as a customer if we are trying to give you a feed back then accept it don t be taking side of your staff. I was traveling from Vancouver, and when I was tired of walking, I just randomly found a restaurant. The restaurant has bright colors, the waiters can speak French and English, and the service is very good. The food is delicious. The only fly in the ointment is that there are a lot of flies. I swatted one to death as soon as it came up, and another one came. When I looked up, there were three more flies parked on the lamp, okay... this is a family. Extremely affects eating mood.

Very good lasagna, the pizza is average and I find it expensive in relation to the size, crème brûlée with a huge layer of very thick caramelized sugar, coca cola without pressure. We asked to change but the same thing. The pasta was bland. The scallops are super good.

We really enjoyed our meal here. Great pizza, fun & casual setting, and best of all VEGAN CHEESE is available! Indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff, and interesting pizza toppings (e.g.pine nuts, truffle oil). Other items are on the menu but we were after pizza and our waitperson guided us in veganizing one. We had a salad (also delicious) with it. Portions are reasonable, not huge. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: Vegan cheese is available.

Seeing 5cad tip, he was speaking in a raised voice,and making a scene.Absolute mannerless and dont deserve to be in serving people. I told him the reason as well for 5cad tip but still he was adamant on stealing money. How dare he could do that? I am repeating that pizza was dumped with thick layer of cheese and tasted rubbery. Also, the waiters are mannerless and seem illiterate, they dont know how to talk to families. Had I not been with family and friends ,I would have reacted to him and refused to give any tip. I read the reviews above and found people complaining similar and racist angle as well and I think they are right. I could see all Asians were separated from rest of the crowd and were made to eat in the underground den. I would urge all the Asian community not to eat at Polina Pizzeria thieves and save their trip form getting ruined. This pizza was unbelievably good. The Bolognese pizza we had for lunch was among the best meals weve had while visiting Quebec. Garlic bread was flawless too. 10/10 - definitely coming back for a late night pizza if theyre still open. Iced tea was home made and delicious too.

Vegan cheese is an option available on their artisan pizzas. They also have vegan garlic bread which was really good!
