D'Orsay in Québec City

Very nice atmosphere, very good food, fast service.

On the menu they say the Lamp pie is for two people and cost 57 bucks, but it is actually very small as shown in picture, not even as large as a single person plate that costs around 30. I dont usually eat a lot, but I finished it on my own and Im not full. Both the waitress and the manager are stubborn saying that such a small plate is for two people in Quebecs air as he recognizes me as an asian. However, Ive never seen such restaurant in Montreal and Ive lived there for 7 years. This is fraud and racist to me, its not reasonable and not acceptable.

Great location and ambiance! The steak was chewy despite being medium rare, and the fish and chips were a bit oily. Fries lacked crispiness and didn t taste fresh. Overall, an okay experience.

It was close to closing, so this review is based on those circumstances. Staff dragged garbage bags past us while we were still eating. Eww. It was obvious the staff person who took our order was not happy to see us.

Beautiful place! We went for a drink and had good service.

Charcuterie and French onion soup were delicious! If you can get a window seat it is a great place to people watch and warm up after wandering the Christmas markets.

Be vary aware of Quebec sales tax when eating out in alcohol serving food establishments. You really get gouged. Unnecessary taxes

Great atmosphere and decor, impeccable and fast service. The only thing lacking was taste in the food. My boyfriend liked his veggie burger but the mussels marinière tasted almost nothing (mussels soaked in water with a little onion) and the fries were dry. Good amount of mussels though! Despite the beauty of the place, I wont go back because the food wasnt worth the trip.

Enjoyed a great poutine here along with a glass of local wine. The atmosphere is pretty incredible. It has an upscale local pub vibe with great woodworking all around.

Tge atmosphere is nice. Food a REAL disappointment. Chambly beer was room temperature. The four of us ordered different dishes. My fish and chips with coleslaw was a total fail. I think that it must have been sitting under the heat lamp for a couple of hours. The Kentucky chicken burger was flat and the meat was limp. Everyone s burger side salad was WILTED. TOO expensive for what we received. I complained about my fish and chips and all the waitress offered was a super tiny dessert which was also old. Don t bother with this place. Too many other good restaurants in Québec to experience.

The cuisine is good, even if the quality of certain dishes seems to have declined (purely personal opinion). The atmosphere is still pleasant in the city center.

Never had food but stopped by for a happy hour drink. Looks very nice inside but we sat on the street side patio.

Really nice spot with a resto pub style interior. Service was great, water refills and check ups done periodically. Food was good, tried the cheeseburger. Drink also look good, pink lemonade was refreshing. Seats are a bit awkward if you have bags from shopping and winter coats. I would suggest going there with small groups 2 to 4 max as the seating can become restrictive if you have too many items. Great spot.

Lovely meal

Place was awesome, great music, great food, great service. Wife and I said we d go back to Quebec City to spend a day in this pub. Had the steak wife had the Vegetarian burger, and that is a bite I will remember very tasty. highly recommend!

Great location, right in the heart of the old city across from the Christmas market. The food was meh - wine sauce on the muscles was weak and tasteless, Caesar salad came as two full romaine hearts I had to cut up myself, and French onion soup was inedibly salty. Ambience of the place was good, though.

Food was great, as for service not so great. Ask to substitute the fries with more salad that already came with the meal. Received, maybe a quarter of a cup of salad extra, was charged 11$ extra for this ? I didnt even receive a salad that came with my meal , I didnt say anything as I assumed it was passed on to my husband meal. We didnt stay all that long, after dessert, I told my husband I would use the washroom as he waited at the table. When I come back, he was not at the table, but was waiting at the door. I come to find out that soon as I got up to use the washroom. The girl that was the greeter, came to him and told him he had to get up and leave the table as it was for other people. We both found that quite ignorant and rude as we were paying customers and we did not overstay. As the people behind us at the table was there when we came and was there when we left. Because of service was not great. We will not return. As for the restaurant, they should educate their servers and greeters to have more courtesy as we are paying customers.

Beautiful location and atmosphere. Service was good. Very disappointed in the quality of the food. We had to send our appetizer back due to it being ice cold and when it was re delivered, it was not tasty at all. I got French Onion soup and it was extremely disappointing. It tasted like a giant salt lick. This was the most unappetizing meal we have had while visiting Old Quebec.

We went around 4:30 got seated right away, the staff was friendly and helpful, we got our food before 5, quick service . We got the burger de poulet frit Kentucky, Mac & Cheese and Fish & Chips everything was delicious.

I really enjoyed the food, service and ambience. They have really good quantity food, if u buy one for lunch u can skip the dinner. That much food was served and of course its little expensive side. But worth it. Calamari fritters are soo good. Linguini was a smell of ocean , I just say. And the coconut curry indian food was soo good betterthan i expectedt Only thing is u need to reserve and if u dont show up, they will deduct 20 cad from ur card which means u will have to reserve with ur credit card.

Were seated on the 2nd fl. Overall food was decent. French onion soup was served warm. Steak was really good. Those that gave 5 stars obviously havent been to a 5-star place

Rating is wrong. Cheap beer during happy hour ($6) but food comes in very small portions and very expensive. Small plate with cut salami varieties for $32. Also menu said it was happy hour but price charged was regular. Unjustified.

Excellent ad for a variety that will please everyone. A good mix of Quebec, French and American food. The soup onion, poutine, mussels and fish and chips were all excellent. Good relaxed atmosphere in the old Irish Pub style. We will come back there on our next visit to Quebec!

My son and l had a delicious meal with delightful service from Nancy! Dermot had beef cheek which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had seafood linguini, delicious combination including my favourite lobster. First dinner in Quèbec City having flown in from lreland, it certainly raised the bar! Donna OMeara.

Great location. Nancy was our waitress and she made us feel at home. We were a party of six, she was patient, also fluent in english and french witn suggestions for every one of us. Wine, food and servce was excellent.

Seafood risotto is their signature dish. In addition, their waiters are very humorous and have no problem communicating in English. I have visited this restaurant for two consecutive Christmases.

Atmosphere, service and food quality are great. I really enjoy the homemade mocktails, thank you for thinking of those who dont consume alcohol but want to enjoy a good drink. It wasnt my first visit, it wont be my last.

Several varieties of beers at 0 and nice menu for all tastes

Food 10/10 but service 0 Throughout the meal the waiter never came to check on us to see if everything was to our taste, no refilling of water. And me and my boyfriend waited 45 minutes for the waiter to come to us for the addition after we finished.

We went to the restaurant based on the good recommendations I read here, and I was not disappointed. Delicious food, well served dish (the onion soup is delicious), fair price! And the service is excellent. I would especially like to highlight Nancys friendliness. Note thousand.

Dish of joue de boeuf was excellent, tender and tasty,served with couscous and coconut curry chicken with rice pilaf was also good, vibrant atmosphere and very friendly staff.No reservation was needed,waited shortly even the place was full,Sat evening at 8.30 PM,absolutely fabulous

Very nice atmosphere of the place, a pub with a large selection of beers, you can watch hockey in the background. Perfect for an evening meeting with friends. I recommend it with a clear conscience!

Disappointing experience. The beef cheek was Luke warm at best. My son s cheeseburger smelt bad/off & we had to send it back. They still tried to charge us for his chips which he didn t touch, & only relented after further complaint. Shame, as vibe was otherwise good

I didn t read any reviews before coming to this restaurant and I m really satisfied. They have a lot of drinks and food. We ordered Linguini, Fried squid and 2 cocktails and it was really nice. The server is really kind and they served us quickly. I definitely recommend this restaurant!!!

DOrsay was our go-to place in Old Quebec (we have visited Quebec 7 times in the last 3 years). But this time, we were very disappointed with the portion size and change in the menu. The previous pictoral menu and items were so much better. I know the cost of living has gone up, but still. Im not sure if there is a new owner; I dont understand the sudden urge to change what was working perfectly well.

The staff is pleasant and smiling, we ate very well.

I wanted to eat paella, but they said they no longer sell it. The mussel dish and onion soup are delicious. You can just order alcohol, and beer is cheap during happy hour from 4-6 p.m.

The sea chowder soup was my favorite dish at Dorsay. Definitely there was once one of the best chowders I had tasted in Quebec! The broth was creamy with large pieces of smoked salmon, shrimp, scallops, clams, etc. A unique and delicious taste! Unfortunately, what a disappointment to learn that the new owner had decided to change the recipe by replacing the seafood with lower quality products (northern shrimp and miniature scallops). The smoked salmon that made the chowder taste so rich was removed and the soup became watery and BAD. Quite a disappointment to offer this level of quality to the customer........

We had a family dinner at D Orsay on Friday and really enjoyed the food and the friendly atmosphere. Service was quick and Nancy suggested some great cocktails. Line was a great bartender and made one of the best mojitos.

Perfect Pub Experience, food was great, Nancy, our server was wonderful, I d come back for her alone. The seafood Chowder was very good, full of scallops, shrimp and mussels. Atmosphere was what you d expect from a true pub, energetic and fun.

worst meal Ive had in Quebec, even McDonalds would taste better then this place. Their white wine muscles are over cooked in basically water with onions, the fries were soggy (but looked crispy? did you pre-cook them then try to re,cook them?) The beer was the only good thing here. The google reviews here are a total lie

2 adult women, 1 man, and 1 child went and ordered 2 mussel dishes, 1 soup, 1 salad, 2 glasses of local beer, and 1 glass of cola. A bald man with almost no hair took the order. He was happy to receive the order for the first time, but he didnt like it and became cold after that. So much so that the child said that he suddenly became cold. I ordered an extra beer, but they didnt bring it, so I didnt drink it, and they didnt give me a cola, so I talked to them again and got it. When I paid, it showed 2 beers, so I asked for it to be corrected and received it again. Then, they brought the bill and the machine and left it on the table. In the end, when I tried to pay by myself using a machine that only had French and no English instructions, they came and took it. I could see that it was not because I was busy, but because it was part of it. It was a really unpleasant experience. I dont ever want to go again. I didnt want to tip even a dollar, but I ended up giving 18% for the sake of other Koreans, but I regret it.

Never thought I would get a poor tasting mussel dish in Quebec but that I did. Ordered mussels mariniere that was missing shallots, leeks, garlic any hint of wine or butter, parsley? The liquid most nearly resembled heated water. Where was the great broth with the baguette and so pricy as well. Husband was happy with his fish and chips, but the iverall cost too high. Don t order the mussels. Our lunch 105 CAD for two.

Great atmosphere in the middle of old city Quebec. The maple syrup pie was amazing. The lobster roll was ok, but I think thats just me realizing that Im not really a fan of lobster rolls.

Pub with old-world charm, hearty dishes prepared with care. The lobster dishes arent there just to look good, you really have plenty of lobster in them.

first time trying mussels and they were really good!! we ordered the ones with cream sauce. we tried steak too and the menu says its medium rare so i asked if they could cook it a little more and he said no LOL (cant remember why) but now im glad because it was perfect :) crème brûlée was also delicious !! we had a reservation so no waiting in line

My name is Terry. I was visiting Quebec City first time with my wife and cousins from Europe. Can not say enough about Nancy, her service and great smile. You left me a lasting impression of Quebec City and its best part, its people! Bravo to all the staff at Pub D Orsay!

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. We had been in the city for 3 days and walked by this establishment many times, ending up at disappointing other restaurants. Finally, on our last evening in town, we walked into Pub DOrsay and was pleasantly surprised. The service with our waitress Nancy was top-notch, friendly, and timely. Our food was served quickly, and it was hot and delicious. Made for a great evening for our last night in the city and looking for to return.

The artichoke salad was amazing, the Caesar one was okay but for the price and compared to the artichoke, it was lacking. MacnCheese was good but nothing special about it, barely any crumble which saddened me. We waited in total, between the drink, the appetizer and the entree, a good 1h30. It was pretty loud but I think it comes with the location and the restaurant being a pub.

Decent meals, but the service leaves something to be desired. Its not normal to go through an entire meal without water or bread and have to ask for it and when at the time of the bill the waitress looks insistently at the TPE and literally dares to beg for a tip.

Cramped space and the steak I had was less than appetizing.

Very above the service, Firstly when we arrived the waiter told us that there was no place, however there was an empty table and when we asked, the waitress told us that the table was reserved although there was no one on that table. table all evening.

This restaurant is an online celebrity in an old town in Quebec. We ordered the seafood noodles and chicken salad, and the overall feeling was not so amazing.

We went here in November 2023 and were served by an incredibly friendly and helpful waitress Nancy. I got the tartare and the french onion soup (weird combo i know) and they were both to DIE for. My partner got a burger and he was very very very happy with the portion and flavour. Very gorgeous interior with lots of different designs/styles depending if youre near the bar or in the dinning room. There are also some cool more private rooms at the back. Definitely will come back here if I visit Québec city again. If I could eat here every day I would. Want to open a location in ottawa?

Very ordinary fish and chips for $34 I should have gone to Boulay at that price, they are not fresh daily, lukewarm inside and the fries are frozen style! I do not recommend this restaurant.

I didnt expect the poutine to be so amazing! The atmosphere and service are flawless. Prices as pretty high (just like most restaurants in Quebec City), but I totally recommend it!

A friend invited me there and introduced me to his favourite soup, seafood chowder. I tried it too and loved it very much. It s delicious, not as salty as very often soups in other restaurants, perfect quantity, reasonable price. I enjoyed a lot this restaurant and definitely will go back!

Had a light meal here in the warm weather - so it had to be consumed outdoors. The place was full, but I was quickly assigned a table. Service was also quick - and the waiters were cheerful and service settings. I only had the main course; a large portion of Cesar Salad incl. grilled chicken + a glass of red wine. The presentation was unusual (see picture) and the grilled chicken was cold, but EVERYTHING tasted very good

Waiter started to fight with us regarding tips. Started explaining his salary, how he doesn t make enough and he expects customers to tip him over 15%. I gave 15$. Our bill came up to 195$, and he expected a tip of 25$ and more for a normal service. Kindly explained to him that tipping culture is optional and then he proceeded to tell me he s going to go get his manager to explain to me why customers should tip regardless of poor/good service. He showed me the receipt where it clearly states example of how much you can tip, not you must tip that amount. He was very agressive, these people need to realize tipping is optional, we are not tipping what they want us to tip. Tipping based on how much my bill comes up to is insane. If I decide to order the most expensive food vs the cheapest food, the waiter brings out the food the same way regardless. It was a very unpleasant experience as he fought with us at our table in the middle of the restaurant while people were watching. I don t mind tipping more if he was kind, but because of his entitled attitude I did not.

The food and service both were terrible, i asked the person that was serving me for water 3 times and he kept on saying he will bring it but i never got water and they brought food after 45 minutes and the chicken and fries were not fresh and the order was wrong and they charged us extra because they didn t understand. I was really upset when i paid 93$ for that food and service and we left hungry . KFC and Mcdonalds would have been 100 times better. Please don t waste your money there

Nancy was wonderful, truly the wonder woman! The food was fantastic with very generous portions, and the music with the window seat definitely added onto the atmosphere. Id love to visit here again!

I had steamed mussels in tomato sauce, the sauce and mussels were delicious, but the mussels were too small, which was disappointing. It would have been a really delicious dish if they had used better mussels, but thats a shame. The amaretto sour here is delicious.

Good evening In April, we went to eat a steak with a Caesar salad. It was truly fabulous! I came back on Sunday, August 11, and unfortunately I really didnt like the new Caesar salad formula (half a heart of romaine lettuce with melted Parmesan cheese rather than fresh grated Parmesan cheese and only 3-4 croutons). I asked the waitress who told me that now the formula was that I asked for a few more croutons, she offered me a slice of bread Also, she didnt like it. when I asked him why a non-sparkling water had not been uncapped in front of me... I always informed my children to never accept a bottle that is not uncapped in front of them... honestly I found it very ordinary that I was told this: Lets see, not like in a bar, here, I uncapped it for you before bringing it to you... I dont think Ill go back there anymore because they no longer offer it. the steak formula but a flank steak formula which doesnt have the same texture at all! I thought about it carefully and I sincerely think that we should give the customer the choice of choosing either the traditional Caesar salad or the new formula and not force them to accept the new formula. As for serving plain water and not opening it in front of us, I am against it. Here I dare to hope to know if we could obtain or have the choice with a formula that we like and above all bring back the steak fries as we served it in April. I enjoyed going to your restaurant but somewhere will we take our opinion into account and above all say goodbye

Delicious grilled Caesar salad and seafood linguini. Nancy was extra nice and very efficient.

We turned up on Saturday evening without a reservation, half expecting to find all the tables filled. Fortunately they managed to squeeze us in. Our table was inside next to a window so we could watch the world go by. Nancy was our waitress. What more could one want, than a smiling, efficient and attentive person to look after your dining needs. We ordered moules with blue cheese and I can honestly say they were the best we have ever had. Highly recommended. Nancy came over to see if the meal was OK and removed moule shells which usually spill over the container onto the table. She kept us well watered and checked if we wanted more beers. Did not expect food as good from a place that s built for tourists (like me). But, it was awesome. French onion soup, mussels, and lobster roll. All absolutely banging.

Food was good, service and atmosphere were exceptional. Stopped in for a beer during the bike race, the vibe was so good we came back for dinner.

update: I went back in 2024, but the paella disappeared and the menu changed, so I dont feel like I had it before. The onion soup was salty, and the steak and pasta were so-so. The view was nice because it was in front of the square. 2022: I ordered steak (AAA) and paella, and as the review said, the portion was large, so I only ordered paella for one person, and the portions of both dishes were good enough for two people! Its nice to have rice for the first time in a while since coming to Quebec. The steak sauce and French fries were so delicious that I ate them all up! The paella was seasoned just right and it was delicious when eaten with seafood! For dessert, I ordered creme brûlée, but it was just average. It came out to about $40 in total! I made a reservation just in case, but it turned out well! Customers keep coming from 6:15, so if you plan on eating after 6, be sure to make a reservation! The atmosphere is nice and the servers are very friendly!

Im disappointed because before the change of ownership, this restaurant had the best hamburger in the world (pork burger with pineapple caramel and whiskey and coffee bacon....). I swear, I dragged people to Quebec (2h30 drive!) just for this burger. It was everyone s favorite burger. I swear if I was on deathrow, this would be my last meal. In short, I go back with my colleague and DISAPPOINTMENT, everything has changed. I ask the waitress if she can make me a similar burger from the chef and she says that the new owner has changed everything. I ordered the burger that looked the most similar and honestly nothing special. My friends wanted to celebrate their birthday there for the burger and they changed plans. I have nothing against the new owners but for the love of God bring back this burger :( its impossible that Im the only one who had to go through a loss.

David is very personable, available and knowledgeable. Charming, courteous and jovial. Well done, he has that blood!

September 17, 2024 beautiful hot day, lots of people everywhere we decide to refresh ourselves with a beer, it is 1 p.m. we ask the young girl at the door if it is possible to just have a beer she tells us no problem, she we sit at the bar the barmaid (Joanie) brings menus we tell her we just want a beer oh my god we should have seen her face she was not happy that we werent eating and the time spent at your bar sorry but nothing pleasant.

Le Pub D Orsay, what a beautiful place with fabulous service and welcome. A must for us. Thanks to Mr. Veilleux and his team (excellent transition in administration) and above all a BIG thank you to Nancy.

We had booked for 6 people to celebrate a wedding anniversary, and a person in a wheelchair accompanied us. We took the trouble to call the establishment directly to have an accessible table for us, repeating several times that a person with reduced mobility would be there! Everything was written down that they said! When we arrived at the restaurant, they had reserved a table for us with high chairs!!! The staff had not noted our request!! There was no way to seat us at a standard table! Our evening fell apart!! Their lack of empathy on their part regarding the situation does not give us any desire to go back!! Its over for us!!

Good service, a little long but worth the wait! Sea chowder is a pure delight as a starter, this soup really needs to be offered as a main course. The poke bowl is super good A 2nd visit and a pure delight again, the service was less extraordinary than on our first visit but all the dishes were so good and we didnt miss anything so already looking forward to returning to Quebec to make a stop there

Very bad experience. We had made a reservation for a party of 6 asking if they were adapted for a wheel chair. Response we received, Very well so. Well we get there, not accessible at all !!!! Wheel chairs couldnt get in, high tables, no normal height tables. No need to say that we left and had to find someplace else to go celebrate the wedding anniversary. Pub d Orsay is off our list for sure !!!!!!

Im very disappointed, they started to serve the main dishes at 4:30pm, we arrived at 4pm and went with entrees only, and when I looked some people got the main dishes at 4:30 on time, if I know I had asked.for it. No sense.

People are great. Food was nothing impressed comparing with the price. Very rushed atmosphere. Overall, not a bad one but few spotlights.

DONT GO TO THIS PLACE. Food doesnt live up to the price at all! Ordered beef burger and the patty was drier than desert, the beef cheek too does not taste fresh and the sauce was awful! Doesnt get why this place has a high rating, sucks to have this food while travelling!!!!!!!!!!!!

A contrary opinion! Some experienced waiters have a very limited and disrespectful approach to customers... Ignoring the customer for a long time only to end up saying that he doesnt have time to serve us!!! We probably could have not taken the time to pay....?? First disappointing experience of the kindness of Canadians seen so far... Fortunately the youngest in the profession were able to make up for the disappointment... Dear sir, if you dont like your job, you should change it or retire... Yours sincerely

We stumbled across here on our last night of our trip and it did not disappoint. Nancy was our amazing waitress. The service was exceptional and quick, and the food was delicious. Once the food came out our table went quiet because we were all enjoying all of our dishes. We will defiantly be back the next time we re in town.

Pub D Orsay is a great restaurant and bar in the heart of Quebec City. Nancy is a great bartender / server and a very friendly helpful person. We loved the food too. Whether you need a meal or a quick snack and drink, I highly recommend this Pub!

We gave the pub poor ratings because the service and the food. We went there for lunch with our kids - my husband ordered a beef burger and got given chicken. He had to ask for a glass of water 4 times before he eventually got one. The food itself was not very good and the service was even worse. After I posted a low star rating (without comment) the owner responded claiming we left without paying and stole wine. That is a lie we paid, still gave a tip, and stole nothing. They clearly don t like a bad (accurate) review so they decided to respond with mistruths. I have since updated my review to explain the reason why I originally gave it low stars. Now that I see the lengths that the owner will go to to lie about what happened, we should have given it even lower.

Ok but nothing fantastic .. But employees were nice.

We had great service with the wonderful Line. She makes sure the Guinness is very fresh!!!

Edit: Where did the dorsays Caesars go? Being a owner of a cafe I am not going to change my 5 star review. But I always looked forward to it and would mention that my continual travelling tourist customers to visit here and make sure to get one. I absolutely love it here! It is definitely my go to place every time that I am in Old Quebec, which is at least twice a year. From their choices of drinks for which I am a fan of their sangrias as well as their signature Giant Bloody Ceasar DOrsay. And as far as there menu goes well, there is something for everyone! Well done DOrsay and you also have an amazing team. They are top notch. Very professional, personable and engaging ! Thank you for a wonderful experience each and every time I visit.

Pour le prix aller au McDo juste à côté tu paie 15$ pour des calmar il en a 6 au total dans ton assiette quand tu veux payer 50$ pour un 9oz tu ne peut même pas choisir ta cuisson ces sois saignant ou bien cuit elle m a bien dit le bien cuit est presque brûler les légume ne son même pas cuit!!! Et la cerise sur le gâteau il nous mettent à côté de la salle de bain

The people working are racists, they were bullying us into giving them tip of $9.30, for two people on a bill of $71.28, when we were giving 10%, they insulted us. Horrible experience, will never come here again. Racist People. Never experienced this before. Shameful for Quebec City.

We picked this spot because of the window booths and werent disappointed. The food was tasty and our server, Nancy, was very attentive and had great recommendations. If youre looking for a nice view of some historic buildings, a good meal, and a great playlist full of classics, this is the spot! Thanks Nancy and staff at Pub DOrsay.

My partner and I had the opportunity to visit Quebec for the 4th of July holiday from NJ. From the moment we walked past the restaurant we thought, We have to come here. And our instincts did not fail us. From the first step inside, the service was excellent, the food was delicious. Dont forget to try the excellent house beer. But if you have the opportunity to go, look for Nancy. She served us that night and offers 5-star service. She did us the favor of taking some beautiful photos. If we have the opportunity to return to Quebec, we will definitely be very happy to return to DOrsay. If we receive Nancys attention, we will be twice as happy.

Was not pleased...BUT who is the CLOWN that Changed the menu. come on cesar salad Never in my life have I seen a cesar like that half a chunk of romaine lettuce gratin with Very Little vinigrette With the parmesan gratiner on top with 3 Little pieces of Bacon( and we had to cut our lettuce up to make it eatable!) Witb 3 little croutons on the side with a bit of vinigrette.. REALLY TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED 8(( AND NO MORE STEAK FRITE DOUBLELY DISAPPOINTED... And music was way too loud Wenr for my birthday in April and everything was perfect...BUT I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A PICTURE !!8(((

TOURIST TRAP! Asked for 2 waters and was shocked to find $12 added to the bill for TAP WATER. We were in a rush to get out so I didnt bother arguing. The food was otherwise acceptable although nothing to write home about. EDIT: Business replied saying it was bottled water. It was NOT, they charged us for water from the bar.

Nancy is an excellent server, very kind and knowledgeable. The fried calamari, vinaigrette salad and seafood pasta were absolutely delicious! My husband and I had a very pleasant time! Thank you.

Went specifically for the mussels, which are the specialty of DOrsay. I ordered them in white wine with fries. A big, steaming pot overbrimming with mussels was brought to the table and I thought there was no way I would be able to eat that much. But I did, because the mussels were good and hot and I was in no hurry. The fries, golden and crispy, were the perfect complement. I went away stuffed and entirely satisfied.

Excellent cuisine, perfect selection of ambient music. We arrived very late and were well served. Kid-friendliness: They accept children and have a childrens menu with drinks and dessert included.

Surprisingly, for a Saturday night this restaurant did not have a line out the door like all the others. We sat on the 2nd level. We enjoyed our meals but it took 3 tries before the kitchen could put a vegan dish together that was actually vegan. The server was friendly with a good sense of humour.

Sophie, our server was the absolute worst service I had ever received. The food was subpar but to be expected of a tourist trap - avoid unless you are dying.

I wouldnt recommend DOrsay, there are much better restaurants in the area. My mussels were pretty much flavorless and the white wine sauce looked and tasted like unflavoured salt water that the mussels were cooked in. Fries came out cold and we had a hard time tracking our server down.

A great experience at Dorsay! Three days in Quebec and three evenings at Dorsay! A big congratulations to Line and Guillaume for the welcome! Ask for seats at the bar, they are the best!

Servers are amazing! Super kind. Atmosphere is fantastic. The food though is just ok and yet very expensive!
