Good service, the dishes are delicious.

The portion of sweet potato was really ridiculous and we paid $3 extra. We had to order an extra fries. Maybe thats your goal. Disappointing, to say the least.

Very ordinary experience. $47 (before taxes) for a very basic quality strip filet, accompanied by boiled vegetables and fries. Far too expensive for the quality. Do not master the types of cooking at all. If you charge a premium price, I suggest you go for a higher quality of meat.

Very well eaten. We had a reservation for 6:00 p.m. We arrived early to have a drink at the bar but still had to queue for our reservation.

Very bad experience. We took the table dhôte option, and on the menu it says dessert of your choice. My partner asked for the black forest cake, and it was not included. My partner offered to pay extra, and the waitress, after inquiring with the manager, the latter refused. We insisted, considering that the menu did not mention anything, and that it was normal to pay extra. Finally, probably to get rid of us, he said $8 more, which means $16 for the table dhôte + $8, so $24. This dessert is $13, so thats the same as an $11 soup. We would have liked to have been informed that the dessert choices were restrictive beforehand, because the waitress had told us that all choices were possible, and the menu also went in this direction. For a meal that cost us almost $200 for 2 people, its very disappointing. My partner didnt eat dessert in the end, and that ended the meal in a fairly ordinary way.

The manager wanted to charge me an extra $8**** for a cake that they were already selling for $13 which was supposedly not in the table dhôte. Already for the table dhôte we have to pay $16. It seems to me that an extra $2 or $3 for the cake would have been more than reasonable, but seriously $8?! Its laughing at the world! However, nowhere on the menu is there any specification that certain desserts are not included in the table dhôte. Its their mistake and theyre making the customer pay for it. Not strong!

Our experience at the baton rouge was quite disappointing. When we arrived we got stuck outside, the door wouldnt open, luckily an employee saw us and had difficulty opening the door but we finally got in. Then for the meal, we found several pieces of plastic the size of a very hard 10cents. The first piece we realized was when it hurt my gum. The waitress was super nice from start to finish. Its problems happen I understand but the food was very disappointing in appearance and taste. Parking: Little

If I could have given 0 stars... One word: Salty! Besides the bill which is damn steep for 2 people, the salad is there too! Inedible! My stomach still remembers it! Not to mention the margarita which, to drink it, you dip your lips in a contour of crystallized salt. The waitress served the largest capacity of beer without our agreement even though the menu we had had was less = an extra charge. Tea and coffee included in the menu, we didnt have it... well, we were in such a hurry to leave this catastrophic dinner that we didnt insist when she offered us the bill. I think she thought we were tourists. Damage . First and last experience, we will not return

Seeing your response to my comment, you care very little about what is written, here is my initial comment if you want to reinstate your response. Meal salad soaked and flooded with vinaigrette. Tasteless clam chowder and 1/3 bowl. A flank steak that is rare on one end and overcooked on the other end with awkwardly presented and overcooked vegetables. , cooking required medium. We didnt finish our plates halfway because we were very dissatisfied. The waiter, not very concerned about the plates being left half full, never asked us except when tipping. Disappointment dear Baton Rouge Boivier!! $135 bill and eating like that is a bit disappointing. Very bad experience.

I still go often and I find that the plates have decreased a lot and the prices have gone up a lot.

This is not the first time we have been to this stick red but this time we were very disappointed. Ribs good nothing more, the garnished potato was hard not cooked or was reheated several times and garnished with sour cream and seemed to be cheese (Spread) cheez wheez salad without taste and was certainly not fresh I dont think not going back there soon. There were 4 of us and I praised the food that was served there because the other times everything was very good and this time I was royally wrong, I was even embarrassed by the guests who were with us. [Business dinner] Very disappointed with my experience versus the experience at the Sainte-Foy branch. Very dark restaurant (in the middle of lunch hour), outdated decoration, damp/musty smell, half-raised side plate from the very schnu lunch menu, not very appetizing. I asked for a Pepsi and the waitress took the liberty of serving me an extra bottled Pepsi rather than a fountain drink included in the lunch menu (not the end of the world, but on principle!) In short, really not up to my expectations.

Warm and fairly liquid clam chowder. Cold fries and my mothers too. They were undercooked. My soup was reheated and our fries replaced. The service is excellent but at $175 for two I expected better.

Came for lunch. Steak was overcooked, macaroni tasted old, and service was sub-par. The name of the restaurant has nothing to do with the food served. Nice looking restaurant. Everything else is overpriced for sub-par food.

We were 9 tourists in Quebec For a paid bill of $654+$98 obliged to pay in tip My 5-year-old daughter didnt like her chicken tender at all and I tasted it, it was terrible. Already she received us saying you didnt have reservations. Well have to vacate the table at 7 p.m. we agreed we were on vacation in Quebec, tired we just wanted to eat and leave. We told the manager we tasted the childs tender. Its her favorite dish, she didnt eat it, she said it was the worst. We tasted it, it was horrible. She told us thats it. is a personal assessment that we do not have the right to express ourselves if something is not at all good. My daughter likes tenders she has eaten moxies, joeys, milestones to name but a few. She told me, mom, the manager is racist and thats what she made a 5 year old child and all of us who were there feel For $12 on a bill of over $700? Back in Ottawa my boyfriend wanted to see my children for the very first time and he suggested going to Baton Rouge. My childrens responses were never again to this restaurant, mom You do not have the right to impose these types of attitudes on customers regardless of the color of their skin.

During a corporate dinner, we reserved for 30 people. The service was warm and efficient in a friendly atmosphere. We greatly appreciated our experience with a service that listened to our needs.

We love this place, the atmosphere is cozy and there is always room for us despite our late arrival. The dishes are good, price +- correct, and the servers we have had so far are #1. Just a big disappointment for the unemployed pudding which has disappeared from their menu for some time and which I hope to see again on each visit. We go there regularly and recommend.

The food was good. But slow service. The waitress apologized and told us she was in training, but we had already had her a few months earlier. She also told us that she was in the juice (thats no longer true). Briefly disappointed with the service this time, but the food was good all the same. And even the crème brûlée was lukewarm as I like it. This is how it is served in France. Its much better. We will definitely come back. Parking: There is a lot of space given that it is in the same space as the Galeries de la Capitale.

Baton Rouge is not only the capital of Louisiana but also the place to eat in Quebec. The surf and turf was so good that I forgot to take a picture. Not meat, not fish? Not even close! Both are available here in excellent quality. Schmackofatzo more than deserved

Everything was great in the Bâton Rouge restaurant, very tasty, lots of veggie options and friendly service. We had fun, great whiskey sour and everything else was delicious and fresh. Vegetarian options: All veggie

There was no more wine we wanted and no more beef ribs with juices. Waitress not at all empathetic. No service. We could tell that the waitress wanted us to have another bottle of wine. Service so slow, it was pitiful. Never again at this restaurant.

The service was bad, our dishes were not served at the same time and we had to get up to see the waitress because a dish had clearly been forgotten in the kitchen. The plates were cold. And for example on quality, $17 for 4 extra shrimp, not even grilled (for a grill restaurant thats a shame...). We found shrimp at the Adonis next door for less than $2 for consolation. We sent them back to the kitchen to have at least one round trip on the grill and no better on the way back. The burgers were average. Finally, the waitress got the bills wrong, it took forever. In short, we will never come back.

We went to taste the famous seafood platter... it was good but they could have added other types of toppings because there was squid twice, fried but also in pieces. Also, not a big fan of raw tuna but the platter was still good, especially accompanied by its sauces. The service was fast and courteous, so thats why I recommend this place!

A detour that wasn t worth it. RUN FROM THIS PLACE. The food is absolutely horrible. The clam chowder was so liquid it looked like 2% milk.I had mac and cheese accompanied with chicken fingers and the breading was falling off the chicken and the dough only tasting like oil. The seafood linguine was bland. Its a shame for a bâton rouge.

- Having cards with different prices, making you the more expensive of the two, - explain to us that a piece of meat (rib on the bone) cannot be rare because it comes from cooking a large piece (so we cut from an already cooked piece and reheat?), - I ask for the sauce on the side plus a béarnaise, the sauce is on top and we bring a pepper sauce. - we ask if the starter (beef tartare) is big or not (to have room for the rib), we are told yes yes, some take it as a main course, and since we didnt want to be stuffed before the main course, we refused to take it, suddenly it became small enough to be taken as a starter at risk. - the price: a glass of wine, a whiskey, a beer, two meat dishes, almost $200... This is the third time we went there, it was passable but given the price, we wont come back

A year ago I rated this place 5 stars. Tonight I had to change it to two. If you want to wait an hour and a half at 7pm mid week for your food go ahead. But I ve never experienced such a long wait time for 2 sandwiches in my life. We were here a year ago and the service was great, we came back and so many people in our section were waiting over an hour for food this is absolutely insane. Worst service I ve seen in Quebec City. A year ago when we came the service was fast and Diane was a great waitress. Tonight our waitress was also nice, and we ended up having a free desert, and our food was good.

I recently visited the Baron Rouge restaurant and was impressed with their food and drink selection. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was impeccable. However, I was a little disappointed with the sandwich I ordered, as it was a bit lacking in flavor. Despite this, the other options on the menu looked promising and I enjoyed the experience overall. I still recommend this place for its welcoming atmosphere and variety of choices, but I hope the seasoning of the dishes will be improved in the future. The flank steak, which I ordered with the pepper sauce as an accompaniment, was really excellent, grilled perfectly, as I had requested, and succulently tender. For dessert, the cheesecake was a real delight, one of the best of all those I have tasted. The service was very correct and courteous, but we would have liked more interaction with the server. The surrounding decor is chic but dark, the outside light does not penetrate enough into the establishment. For sure we will return.

Saturday evening 8 p.m., 3 sisters who want to treat themselves to a good restaurant, eat well and have fun with the waitress or the waiter, it didnt happen like that at all. Our server (Im going to withhold his name) but he will recognize himself and know what Im talking about because we told him, politely, that as soon as we arrived we were disappointed. 0 smile, 0 pleasure, he was in a hurry to leave, didnt take the time to take our orders, it took 25 minutes between two visits to the table, I said to him: am I bothering you? My sister would like to order a glass of wine We usually go to cozy restaurants and have fun with the waiter usually. The tip goes accordingly obviously. The food was overcooked and I think Baton Rouge is losing its name because its not what it used to be. Except for the flank steak which melted in your mouth, the ribs and the overcooked Burger. When it came time to pay, thats when we told him our comments and Y clearly showed us that he didnt care and that he had never had negative or constructive comments. Told us not to forget anything and told us to call his manager Steve and then run you to the kitchen In short, experience 1/10.. (1 is for the flank steak which was delicious) Terrible service.. very disappointing.. Were going back to Cosmos Lebourgneuf, where the service is A1 and the food is good.

The Lebourgneuf red stick is our favorite place to celebrate the birthdays of the members of our group. In a friendly and calm atmosphere, where the servers are on their task, courteous, and rather available, a menu containing little variety, but what is there is worth lingering. From starter to dessert, never been disappointed. We always go there in groups of 6 and have had very few errors. Plates are served at the same time for everyone. The only negative detail is that their reservation system sends reminder after reminder, which is rather annoying. I dont need 4 text messages in 2 days to remind me that I made a reservation for the next day.
