Hello, for my part, my sister and I really appreciated Émérikas service, her good humor, her kindness and her desire to serve us well, ensured that we will repeat this customer service experience in Val Bélair, c for sure!! Lets not forget that the food and the presentation of our dishes were a beautiful 5 star. Thanks to the cook and Émérika and also thanks to the kind Usher! Hélène and Line.

We only have one downside in fact and for the entire chain. We are talking about saving the planet everywhere and also trying to reduce food waste however there is no proposal for 1/2 portion or light menu. C. A. D ex: eggs benedict no choice 2 eggs $19.99 at the same price as for one but, we dont all have the same appetite. It would be a huge waste in our case even if it would only be $2. Or $3 less would already show a positive intention to show interest in food waste.

I am still satisfied with this place even after 4 years but an expansion sometimes would be a good idea especially when we see the popularity on weekends. Or otherwise seats to wait since there are a lot of elderly people

We took 2 plates for 3 and we had leftovers (well I dont have that big of an appetite). It was excellent!!!

I often go to Ben and Florentine, its my favorite restaurant, but when I went to Val Belair I was really disappointed. The waitress Karine was really unprofessional. When ordering we made a mistake on the name of a dish and when the waitress came to bring them to us we told her that it wasnt that and she replied: well thats what you got order I can bring you the card in an inappropriate tone we said ok well no problem we made a mistake. Some time later she comes by and asks us how things are going without waiting for our response she continues and asks the same sentence at the back table... a few minutes later we ask her for a glass of hot water to warm up the babys bottle. When she was little, she never brought it to us!! At the end she asked us if everything was ok and if we ate well we just had time to answer that it depended on who she said its not my fault and went to the kitchen... we asked what she comes to pay because she didnt come... really not satisfied with the waitress!!! I am disappointed with Ben and Florentine, I was used to better!

I went there often and recommended the place several times before but oh well. The last time after the meal, the waitress came to the table and told me that yes here the tip was at least 15%, that yes thats how it happens, that I wasnt satisfied with her work ect I was very embarrassed, the customers were looking at me and according to my calculations I just rounded up the bill it represented 10-12% of the bill when I paid on the machine. My partner handed over a $20 bill because we were so shocked and uncomfortable. A tip seems to me to be not obligatory and the minimum 15% is a recommendation. If the waitress is brave enough to say it loud and clear to customers in the middle of service in a full room hum

Order to take away. In addition to being ready 25 minutes late, wrong order received. I call and they hang up on me. No supervisor on site, no one can make the decision to make another crepe and the manager will call me back during the day. Clearly it was my last visit to Ben and Florentine.

Wait almost 20 Minutes when its you next and no one welcomes you, no smile or a simple hello it wont be very long its the basis in catering to welcome as it should and not miss them by ignorant all this time

Too long wait for Lunch..3 tables arrived after us and we had their Lunch before and even a couple finished lunch and we didnt have our lunch yet.

Nice atmosphere, nice restaurant. Dont take gluten allergies into consideration, have gluten-free bread and thats it. Dont have gluten free potatoes? When I asked the waitress for a buckwheat crepe and if they could clean a small part of the griddle to reduce cross contamination, she told me it would take too long to do that for the whole thing. world and therefore that it was not possible (she did not go and ask the cooks either). So we left the restaurant, because no choice for me. No adaptation on the part of the restaurant and it is quite disappointing knowing that the vast majority of restaurants adapt, especially coming from a franchise restaurant.

Very disappointed, I asked for the brioche pan, received the maple one, no exchange dish offered. Good service but nothing more. Baby high chairs are filthy. Price too expensive for what it is...

Not edible. Bacon so thick salty and poorly cooked, even the eggs were overcooked. I had indigestion after your disgusting food.

My best friend, my daughter and I were at the restaurant for brunch for my birthday. Sunday evening we started to feel nauseous. Monday, all three of us vomited!!! We were sick at the same time with the same symptoms. I called the restaurant. The person in charge filled out a form telling me that it could perhaps be Covid? Grrrrr! Neither my friend, nor my daughter, nor I have been in contact with a person who has Covid. And have the same symptoms at the same time? It s obvious we suffered from food poisoning. The three of us missed two days of work... and Ben and Florentine did nothing to compensate us. We will NEVER go to this restaurant again!

I would like to find less salty meal options. Otherwise, its very good. We were in the lunch rush and given the traffic, we were served quickly. Dietary restrictions: Less sodium

The orange juice WOWWWWW, the lunch excellent. I recommend this restaurant. THANKS Wheelchair accessibility: Lack of parking for the disabled, you have to park far from the front door, especially in winter. Thank you this restaurant is excellent.

Exceptional food but terrible service, we were served by a young woman with an accent and dark glasses who rolled her eyes when asked for something. I even regret the meager tip I left him! Hoping that management meets with her so that she changes her attitude!

Hello last Saturday we placed an order directly through Ben and Florentines website and will collect it take out. Until then everything is fine, we pay about $50 by credit card and we get lunch and come back to the house which is 5 minutes from the restaurant. What was really disappointing was the quality of the food in the dishes, no delicacy. I had a completely dry bagel, an old piece of salad and my partners bacon was not cooked. I definitely had the impression that I had been passed on old stock because in any case, delivery or take-out is not a bad thing to look like in the dining room, eh. I contacted the manager in place that day and offered me $5 hahaha and she told me that she couldnt do anything that I had to make a complaint online. Wowww how much we dont want to deal with the problem and pass the buck to someone else. I wrote the said complaint on their site and no news. Very disappointing

Super good and the waitress was really nice to us. Even if a small mistake was made with few people in the dining room. Forgetting a detail can make a difference, but I dont hold it against the staff these days.

They will NOT try and comodate you, when they say replace bacon with turkey bacon, it means turkey bacon on the side, and pork bacon on your plate. They can not even replace your potatoes with fruit. They just want to push you through, management sub par.

Place always crowded at the end of the week after 10 a.m., errors in orders are very frequent. The weekday service really leaves something to be desired, we waited more than 15 minutes before we could pay, even though there was almost no one in the restaurant. The renovations that have been made are disappointing, the terrace which was so pleasant is no longer in use and no additions other than purely decorative have been made from the customers point of view. If you have the choice go elsewhere .

Ordered from DoorDash and there wasn t any dasher after an hour. I called the restaurent if they could at least remake the food so I could come grab it fresh. They refused to do anything / couldn t get refunded from DoorDash. Wasted 25$ :)

Excellent service, waitress very attentive to our order, plates arrived very quickly. Pan-fried are good but too dry and too many potatoes. It s a fried potato first with other things. We had heartburn afterwards.

Despite the popularity of the place today and a good big queue, we were nevertheless very disappointed with the lunch served. It was my 3rd time and the last because the 3 times assistant was bitter, cold and this time dry. I dont like the quality of the lunches served, Normandin is worth much more than Ben & Florentine.
