Küto - Comptoir à Tartares Neufchâtel in Québec City

October 24, 2024 around dinner time I ordered a pokébowl with tuna tartare. This is followed by 3 days of fever, vomiting and diarrhea. A day of work lost at my expense. Never again.

Ordered 2 tartares yesterday through Uberheat. Maple tartare and a shrimp tartare. We both found the tartares to be very ordinary. Lacked flavor even though I chose spicy. A bit disappointing for a specialist place. Homemade chips too thick and flavorless. Disappointing for a $90 bill.

Wonderful place for a tartare meal with friends at dinner time or for a romantic 5@7. Our waitress was very friendly by the way.

In terms of the tartare = impeccable but in terms of the brownie = very dry = old cake, for a bill of $133 I would have liked better, but bravo for the rest

I am very very very disappointed with my experience. I call to have an order prepared and specify that I want cups of hot sauce on the side. The lady told me that it came with no need to add it to the order $75 order later I arrive home I open the bag I dont have any hot sauce Last time. Its so easy to listen to the customer when there is no one in the restaurant.

Long service. I waited a long time even though we were outside busy hours.

I visited this restaurant on 2023-05-18 for dinner around 6:00 p.m. Few people in the restaurant. I ordered the all you can eat tartare menu, however, you can only order one tartare at a time. Also, the service is very slow between services almost to dissuade us from ordering again. After the 4th course, the waitress never came back to our table to check if we wanted to order something else or pay our bill. So my overall rating is 1/5 because we cant give less. The taste was not there, neither the service nor the all you can eat aspect. $80.00 bill and disappointment. I do not recommend!

Me and my girlfriend went to visit for the first time this week. Result: We left with a bitter taste as well as a hefty bill. Very slow service (despite the time and traffic), Very ordinary taste for the price. My partner wanted to take advantage of the all-you-can-eat promotion, which should change its name, it was rather according to the wishes of the waitress. Personally, I had three small burgers, with chips on the side. Once again, bland and not very spicy taste. The chips were really ordinary, not very tasty. Usually, I dont mind paying more when the quality and service is there. Our experience really disappointed us

A great discovery, I loved the steak house style beef tartare. It would be nice if there was 1/2 liter cheese or 1 liter of tartares to take away. A little disappointed with the cold chips, a hot version or fries would be a plus.

As a regular customer, I can only tell you that it is an incredible place. The staff is friendly and professional, the food and the choices are very varied. I like to try new things and give comments, generally the comments are heard. The delays between services can be seen as long, but one thing to understand is that the tartars are made to measure and therefore completely normal. I love it and I recommend it

Passing through this city, this magnificent tartare bar was a great discovery for my daughter and me. Varied menu, friendly atmosphere, fast and courteous service. There are also choices for those who dont eat raw meat. Dietary restrictions: My daughter loved her grilled chicken poke bowl

Delicious tartares, my favorites are the steakhouse beef and the pub style beef. Until recently, there were surf and turf duos including 2 tartares (one beef and one shrimp). I loved this option and Im really disappointed that it disappeared from the menu. Also a little less of a fan of the new items on the menu (Tuscan beef which lacks a little je ne sais quoi)

Im a delivery person, this means I have to go through the drive-thru instead of inside because it bothers the customers, it seems..........seriously, I was stuck for 15 minutes waiting for my order while I could have gone back and done it in 2 seconds........ if you dont want to offer the delivery service, stop that and press it ..............

Excellent tartare every time. I love being able to order an extra portion for larger appetites.

But what a surprise. I stopped with my 12 year old son to enjoy Wednesday as much as you want. Selection of ultra-tasty tartars (great innovations). Super courteous service. Cocktail on the mark. I had a margherita and being a fan and connoisseur, believe me that its rare to find good ones in Quebec and this one was perfect. Please dont change the recipe. The terrace is well visually isolated from the boulevard. All this and more at a price which, especially for the quality, makes you want to come back often. If they keep this up, theres a good chance well become regulars. The trick is to go with at least 2 people to share different varieties of tartars because its only one kind at a time despite the all you can eat option. Making us wait before refilling causes the brain to register a false satiety and we can no longer taste everything. Some reputable restaurants in the city (Im thinking of the famous C&R which is overrated) should blush with shame next to Kütos menu. Parking: Lots of space and easy to access.

Completely inedible. The rice was cold and dry and the abundance of sauce made it even more disgusting. A good $40 wasted in the trash.

Every time we go there we are never disappointed!! The place is clean and the atmosphere pleasant. Just yesterday (08/23/2023) we went for the all-you-can-eat tartare. Fast and courteous service, delicious food. Favorite for Caribbean tuna.

The price is way too high compared to the quality of the meal. I chose this restaurant because the preparation time was 20-30 minutes. It took 60 minutes. Warm tartare and green salad in a tiny container. I will not recommend :(

I tasted 2 different tartars and it was really average both times. I dont know if the salmon tartare is made from smoked salmon or if it just tastes weird. It would be nice if it were written if there is smoked salmon in the tartare. In short, it s disappointing to pay so much only to end up throwing away half of it.

Très grande déception par contre davoir appeler à 20h30 quand les heures douvertures indiquent 21h et quon me répond que cest impossible de me préparer une commande car la cuisine est fermé. Les heures douvertures devraient indiquer 20h30 si nous ne pouvons pas obtenir de nourriture passer 20h30.

I went for the first time yesterday at dinner time with my partner for a take-out order. The staff forgot to give me croutons with my tartare and I realized it once I got home! Its not very pleasant to eat a tartare without croutons and the worst part is that my partner and I got sick! On the other hand, the portion and the tartars are good. Update: Management contacted me quickly to investigate the situation so Im giving them the benefit of the doubt that our discomfort was caused by a food eaten in the morning.

Im postponing my review, because it seems to have disappeared. It dates from 2021. 1 hour in advance I place my order by phone, mentioning that I should arrive around 5 p.m. When I arrived, she was not ready. I wait more than 30 minutes in the dining room and during this time 3 people come to place their order at the cash register, wait next to me and receive their tartars before me. When I finally receive my bag, I return to my car to realize that dessert is missing and that I did not receive the correct beverage. I have to go back inside to make the changes. I would like to mention that I was polite and patient throughout this time, I did not even mention that it was unfortunate that the tartare was not ready when I arrived, nor that the waiting time was long, nor that people who ordered after my arrival had their tartare before me. But still, the staff was stupid, like all the times Ive been there before. Fortunately, the meal was very good. I never went back, Ive been taking the detour to Beauport ever since. The food is also good and the service 100x better.

1st try. Ordered two poké, I had tartars. Also very disappointed with the two tartars which completely distorted the taste of the salmon and tuna. I had no pleasure in eating these dishes. Very low quality-quantity price ratio. definitely wont go back.

The tartars are excellent! The only downside is that hygiene in times of pandemic leaves something to be desired. On two occasions, the cooks take the fresh food with their hands directly to mix it with the tartars, without gloves. Yesterday during my visit, the lady who made my tartare lowered her mask to scratch her nose, and she sneezed directly next to the plates...she never washed her hands afterward. When you go to the drive-thru, you see everything that happens in the kitchen... A little disappointing to see that, but it doesnt take away from the food, which is delicious.

Ive had salmon tartares from them three times now. They are really excellent, especially the Japanese Salmon tartare. Large portion and fair price for the quantity. I ordered over the phone then went to take my order to avoid waiting.

I had the pub style beef tartare with a side of nachos, delicious! Perfectly seasoned tartare, I didnt want to add any salt or spicy sauce, and the accompaniment was very fresh and balanced in terms of flavors. Croutons are just thin and crispy enough, and we are offered more when they run out on the plate, a big plus. Super good portion, for a comparable price we get much less in other restaurants. A favorite where I will take everyone who lets me choose the restaurant of the evening. THANKS!

First visit. Nice welcome, the menu was explained to me, order ready in record time (4-5 minutes), Kuto beef tartares and Mexican shrimp were excellent. Small downside, I should have asked for additional croutons, or brought some at home. I will definitely go back.
