I made 4 visits to this restaurant, great welcome, food well presented and delicious

We had a reservation starting at 8:30pm for a party of 4. We all did the 7 course meal- it was amazing! Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and plated, and everything tasted phenomenal/ every dish was distinctly different from the last. The sommelier was wonderful as well. The staff/ chefs kept apologizing for their English (we don t speak a lot of French), but they were great and we understood them just fine! Overall, it was a lovely experience I would recommend for anyone to do who is looking for some creative fine dining in Quebec City.

Always a renewed pleasure with each visit. Everyone contributes their grain of salt and what can we say about the recipes that are always so tasty and original! It s a must!!!

We had an excellent evening in the private lounge. We ate very well and the sommeliers descriptions took us on a journey. Small downside for the evening we went because the heating was not able to warm the room sufficiently.

I loved my experience. The quality of the food is second to none. Each plate was an explosion of flavors. Service also excellent. I enjoyed seeing the chefs at work near us. We had the 7 course for a special occasion and were able to offer us a succulent vegetarian version from start to finish! Vegetarian options: We requested a vegetarian version when booking. They did it for us with pleasure!

There were 2 of us and we had a 3 and a 7 course. It was perfect for our appetite. The only downside is the length of the experience. There were delays between certain services, particularly the main meal. 3h30 in total, too long for me. Everything was excellent though and we recommend it to those who really want to spend an evening at the restaurant as an outing. Parking: In the street. Saturday evening, we have to pay until 9 p.m....

Wow! 7-course tasting menu with wine pairing, a real delight. The service we had was a young woman who was able to explain to us and make our mouths water when describing the wines and dishes. Great team work. I have very rarely eaten so well in a restaurant. Thanks to the entire 101 team.

Major disappointment for a Saturday evening which ended in a mess. We were really looking forward to living the 101 experience but ours unfortunately ended without much congratulations. Microscopic portions (none of the dishes on the menu should be presented as a main meal, equivalent to a tapas at most), cold food (on this November evening, a cold cassoulet is far from comforting), no explanation of the dishes (the plates were placed in front of us without details of the different elements there), very noisy atmosphere following the arrival of a group placed in the center of the room and all this for a fairly hefty bill. We will not return to 101 and will explore other restaurants.

Highly disappointed with the three-course meal. The starter, consisting of a single squash and ricotta ravioli, lacked flavor. The main course, a cassoulet deconstructed into three cubes of meat accompanied by cold juice, a base of warm lentils and three bites of red cabbage. The dessert, although visually interesting, did not offer any new flavors, just like the previous two dishes. Excellent Italian wine recommended by the glass but half consumed in front of empty plates because very small portions. The aperitif cocktails were good, and my partners mushroom tartlet was the most interesting dish of our meal. Finally, two very noisy groups in the main room spoiled the atmosphere. We wont come back.

A perfect experience in every way; we tasted delicate, silky, inventive, accurate, colorful dishes, etc. under impeccable service and a ball of rigorous chefs to discover from our table thanks to the open kitchen!

It was a memorable moment as well as a great gastronomic experience. The addition was also surprising. Very, very expensive. $600 for 2.

We went with my partner to celebrate her birthday and we had a great evening. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, but especially the service, were excellent. Even though we are vegetarians, the chefs of the evening had no problem adapting our plates to our dietary needs. We found that the restaurant is not at all expensive, if we compare the quality and price ratio. I highly recommend it! Vegetarian options: The kitchen was adapted to our dietary needs.

Yesterday, Thursday 03/10, we can say that the Chef took us on a trip like rarely in recent years. Lets not talk about the sommelier and the waitress who were simply exceptional. So yes, its true, after a few days in Quebec trying to find one really positive thing to say about the local cuisine, we arrived skeptical. But from the outside, seeing this place that was both simple and yet so well thought out, we felt that this time it would be different... There were 9 of us in a private lounge with a disarming smile... And there we go. Endless emotions... God knows if we travel around the world, if we test references each time (often star-studded) but this... what a slap in the face! The 7-course menu is simply remarkable for its balance, power, originality and audacity. In the end, two unforgettable desserts. A truly special mention to the sommelier who moved us with his devotion to his profession... To finish, an extraordinary atmosphere in this lounge where we even danced and had an unforgettable time with the whole team. In a nutshell, the 101 will, for sure, be the first Michelin-starred establishment in Quebec. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this evening which will remain in our palates, in our noses and, above all, in our hearts!!!

A little long for a 3 course (2h30), however, excellent service and excellent food.

A success all round! Definitely one of the best restaurants in Quebec. Attentive service, a relaxed and modern atmosphere, balanced and tasty dishes and a sommelier like you wont find anywhere else in the area!

Absolutely amazing service!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The staff is super attentive, the food is fabulous and the atmosphere is really pleasant whether you are alone or in a large group, everyone has their place.

We had the three-course tasting menu. They graciously accommodated two pescatarians and one vegetarian. The food was extraordinary. We are in debt to the individual who casually recommended this gem to us - what a wonderful night. The service was better than any restaurant we ve been to in ages, and each dish was delicious: unique and perfect (And the wine pairing was equally wonderful.). It was our last night in Quebec City - and it was a great way to celebrate our great vacation. I would (And we will) come back just to come back to Le 101. Vegetarian options: They took the time to consider a vegetarian tasting menu, and made me a wonderful dinner. Kid-friendliness: They made my 10 year old feel welcome and sophisticated. It was a sophisticated meal - but not stuffy.

In my opinion, the hidden treasure of Quebec! I love everything about this restaurant; the gastronomy, the warm and professional service, the open area which leaves room for the show taking place in the kitchen!

Not up to my expectations in terms of value for money. Cuisine level very good in terms of taste and presentation apart from the quantities which are really too small for a 3 course menu even if you have a small appetite like me. Nice selection of wine but despite the fact that we had asked not to have a sweet wine in the food and wine pairing, we were served a sweet wine with the desert but no problem, it was quickly rectified. Good service during the meal except at the end when it was time to pay I waited a very, very long time and tried to wave to the waiter several times who was cleaning his glasses . The waitress who returned apologized for the wait. Slightly cold atmosphere despite a beautiful open kitchen and beautiful room decoration. Given the prices and the concept of 101 I expected better.

What an incredible dining experience for my family!! My wife and I have a son who is 12 and twin daughters who are 10 and the restaurant went above and beyond to not only give me and my wife an amazing culinary adventure but make the kids happy too. Chef Charles came to our table to get a feel for the kids and what would make them happy and it was a hit!! We live the Disney film Ratatouille and it was on the menu! My son ordered it and really enjoyed it! We even got pictures with the staff in the kitchen afterwards! It was a night our family will always remember on how wonderful Quebec City and its people are!

Superb place. The atmosphere is friendly and super beautiful. Antoine the sommelier is extraordinary, he takes the time to advise his guests always with a smile. A very elaborate wine list, thoughtful decoration. I recommend Tabernacle with your eyes closed!

Lovely atmosphere, pleasant service, but please be forewarned, this is nouvelle cuisine to the max - not for the hungry. My entree could have been consumed in 20 seconds, although I stretched out the experience for a full minute and a half.Two scallops artfully arranged on the plate unencumbered by the aesthetic distraction of a vegetable or rice for $36 amounted to $9 per bite. The absence of any substance resembling bread simply enhanced the sense of je ne sais quoi . If this is the dining experience you crave, by all means go and bon appetit! For others, expect to enter famished and depart ravenous.

Delicious, but I just left, first not the table that I asked to answer me I had no note, yet I was told in person yesterday that there would be a note, simple neighborhood. world peteux.I have been in several gastro restaurants Starter buckwheat crepe with halibut rather good but crepe night with excellent halibut in addition served with cucumber mixture completely tasteless, I give comment, responds lack of celery salt (insult).I ask questions on plate of lobster ravioli (which brings me to this restaurant) I ask if it is a dish that can be served as a main course, answer yes. I receive 3 mini Ravioli, order! Delicious on the other hand My partner takes the guinea fowl dish. Delicious, we take the second guinea fowl dish, they added extra salt. Lack of professionalism.

We were served like kings! We were the last customers of the restaurant and we had the nice surprise of tasting 3 delicious desserts offered by the chef! Best brunch ever! A whole culinary experience for Easter brunch. Courteous and fast service. Nothing less than 7 courses for brunch, each one better than the other! Light menu for children. The restaurant is beautiful and very clean. Special mention to pastry chef Eric Lessard for an astonishing dessert, the attention to detail in this plate is matched only by the perfect blend of flavors and textures. I highly recommend!

An incredible experience at 101 Restaurant de Quartier. We were able to discover the creations of Chef Charles. The menu is constantly evolving according to new arrivals and the seasons. You will never have the same experience every visit. Everything was EXCELLENT! I highly recommend you! Dietary restrictions: It adjusts the service according to allergies and intolerances.

WoW! What an experience! Everything is impeccable and extremely delicious! Super friendly team!

The food is excellent and the kitchen staff are impeccable! Where things go a little wrong is in the wine list and the organization of the menu. So, the price of bottles of wine starts at almost $60 but no wine by the glass below +/- $20 . No logic either on this side because a wine costing $90 a bottle will sell for roughly the same price by the glass as one priced at $65 . the 3-course menu is fixed in advance and there is no possibility of replacing one of the dishes. In addition, the portion of dishes on the 3-course menu is reduced compared to an à la carte choice... (ex: 2 pieces of lamb vs. 1). In general, the portion of the dishes corresponds to a little more than tapas . The restaurant would benefit from indicating on the menus that it offers an appetizer before bringing our dishes. Oh yes, I almost forgot, it wasnt my surprise to find that our $68 bottle was a table wine, clearly indicated on the bottle, without any controlled designation of origin or other. In summary, good restaurant with good food and good cooks (nice view of the kitchen in action). Improvement needed in my opinion in terms of wines, menu, etc. Quite expensive for the quantity on the plates.

Restaurant 101 is a true gastronomic gem located in the Saint-Roch district. I recently had the opportunity to dine there with two friends and was blown away by the excellence of their cuisine. Each dish was a work of culinary art, prepared with care and attention to detail. The freshness of the ingredients and the perfectly balanced flavors truly lived up to the reputation. In addition, the service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff were welcoming, professional and attentive, which really helped make our experience memorable. I recommend without hesitation to all lovers of good cuisine who wish to discover a culinary experience in the neighborhood.

Magnificent experience in a magnificent setting with modern decor where you can see the cooks working with great elegance. The waitresses are warm and know the dishes and wines perfectly. And what about the dishes, lots of taste with beautiful flavor combinations. I was skeptical about eating a carrot tartlet but it was a pleasure. Im sure a child who doesnt like carrots would change their mind when they tasted it. Thank you again, I will come back again to eat the famous pithiviers and tiramisu.

The presentation is worthy of a great restaurant (open kitchens, modern atmosphere and polished plates) The flavor combinations are, however, quite expected (carrot-cumin, blinis-chives, chocolate/red fruits) The dessert was heavy and not very convincing. (Note that this was the menu for Valentine s Day week)

What a wonderful experience! The dishes are of international caliber, impressive delights, and the service, although unpretentious, is impeccable. We chose the 7-course menu and we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish, each dish being an extraordinary discovery. A point often overlooked in other places: the music is not too loud, the atmosphere is calm and you can hear yourself talking. In short, highly recommended and we will definitely return!

Went for the all-in brunch menu. The food is beyond tasty. Sadly, even though there were only 4 tables with clients, the waitress seemed to be overwhelmwd. On the other hand, that meant the chefs could come and talk with us. We had deep explanations on the different courses. Overall a great experience.

What an amazing restaurant! From start to finish. I ve been there twice as it is close to our condo in Quebec City and it is outstanding. The food is delicious and beautiful to look at. The staff are unbelievable- friendly, knowledgeable and so professional. The chefs are fantastic both in their food creations but also the way they interact with visitors. The vibe in the restaurant is perfect. Upscale but not pretentious or stuffy. Have enjoyed both dinner and brunch! Can t wait to go back. Would rank it 6 stars if I could!

Honestly We loved it! We are two lovers of gourmet restaurants and have tried many to date, but in our opinion, nothing will beat the quality/price ratio of 101. A real little masterpiece. The service was great, the food excellent. Local products and truly original presentations. The final touch, power poppers in one of the strawberries for dessert. Truly original!! The chefs are very friendly and invited my little daughter to decorate our plates together. The servants are also knowledgeable and explained with patience. Service attitude was perfect. The plates and wines are also of great tastes. A wonderful place to go with family.

Very nice restaurant! Open concept kitchen, you can watch the chefs work. Very good service (Thanks to Maryse who was very kind and smiling). Discovery brunch menu: a great way to taste several dishes offered on the menu. It was a very hearty meal and just as delicious and rich in flavors. My favorite: the French toast was incredible!!! Very affordable price considering the quantity of food I had, as well as the quality of the dishes. I highly recommend this little gem!

One of my favorite restaurants in Quebec! The service is more than excellent, the wines are carefully chosen and the dishes are always delicious. The menu changes regularly, the foods are varied and I always really liked what I ate there. A little hidden treasure in Quebec for divine brunches or a good dinner.

This was the best restaurant Ive been to in Quebec. We stopped by for breakfast and everyones food was delicious. The food is so reasonably priced at $15 -$22 per breakfast item. The presentation was exceptional and the service was impeccable. I wish we had more time in Quebec so that we could have tried the dinner menu. Highly recommend this restaurant!

To discover, we went there in the evening as a family, everyone was impressed. Green terrace, loving service even with the children who had energy to spare. Quality and extraordinary foods wonderfully combined in all simplicity! We highly recommend!

This is the capital of Turkish in Turkey, almost the twin of the city of Karaman. Even though the roads and sidewalks are not as modern as Karaman, I encountered a similar version of the world-famous Karaman dolma in this restaurant; It is very delicious, the service is perfect, I am really satisfied, I will come again..

Extraordinary dining experience, generous and friendly service! We were celebrating a birthday and they offered us a glass of sparkling wine on arrival. We were pampered all evening. Go for it, you wont regret it!

This place is one of my favorites in terms of gastronomic experience! I go there for the tasting menu and each time, I am amazed by the creativity of these chefs! Not only does the menu change over time, it s a real pleasure to discover new flavors This time, thanks to the attentive service of Maître D, the chef was generous to concoct the brunch experience menu for us despite its disappearance hihi A big thank you for brightening up our taste buds! I wanted to add, the little floral touch of the little bouquet which changes every time, is a very delicate and much appreciated attention

Service was so slow we stayed there over 2 hours and half, had to cancel part of our dinner (we had received 2/3 in this time) because it was just taking too much time. It was slow to get food and wine. Very unfortunate because the level of food execution was really good and the wine selection as well as the sommelier service was great too.

One of the best restaurants we have had the chance to try. The food and wine pairing for the 5th course was beyond our expectations. Thank you to your waitress, for her knowledge of the dishes she served us, and her comments on the wines. We will come back without fail.

Delicious, impeccable service.

This was a very enjoyable experience. The food consisted of quality products in well-executed preparations. While the dishes were creative, everything was well-grounded in established techniques and flavors. The chef was also very accommodating of our vegan diner who ate as well as anyone else. The wine selection was also of a high standard, appropriate for the meal.

We got married on the beautiful terrace of 101 in early September and the experience was incredible! We felt confident from the first discussions with the team. Everything was done with ease: from the preparations in advance with Sandra, to the creation of the menu by Charles, the chef, and the kitchen team, until the big day when the service team welcomed us. The appetizers were delicious, varied and could please both adults and children. The back patio was perfect for maintaining the privacy of our little celebration. We are truly blessed to have been able to get married there and to have been so well supported in the process.

I was in Quebec City for the month of September and ate dinner at Le 101 three times. Each meal was wonderful, and two of my family members in their sixties said that the first dinner was the best meal they had ever eaten. Wonderful for me that I could bring them to this restaurant that presented beautiful magic on a plate. The third meal that I had was over-the-top beautiful--visually wonderful, creative, delicious, and offered with kindness, generosity, care, and an amazing aesthetic sense of the potential beauty of food as art. Merci, merci, merci to the wonderful chefs and wait staff who charmed my family and me in their beautiful restaurant!

Magnificent discovery, the menu is simple and executed to perfection, the service was impeccable, the service provided by the kitchen brigade is a nice touch. We ate the foie gras, the beets and the piece of aged beef, everything was perfect. Small downside for the pear tart, but the rest exceeded our expectations so much that the 5 star rating is justified. I would return without hesitation.

An experience which unfortunately does not live up to expectations in terms of value for money. Although the service was excellent, the quantities of dishes served are derisory, even ridiculous for the fairly high price... There were 4 of us at the table, as many men as women, and we had to go back and eat elsewhere to complete the meal. Each had a starter, a meal, a cocktail and a separate bottle of wine for 4. Average bill: $115... phew

We decided to go there during the culinary festival, Québec Table Gourmande, it was very good but the portions were really small for $45 (3 courses) and yet I dont have such a big appetite.

Charles et sa brigade réussissent toujours à nous émerveiller avec ses créations. Le menu 3 ou 5 services à laveugle sont un incontournable. Si vous avez le choix, essayez le menu végétarien, même si vous êtes carnivore! La seule question qui demeure est : pourquoi ce restaurant nest pas dans la liste des meilleurs restaurants de Québec ou même du Québec!
