The owner made us leave because I kissed my partner!!! I tried to talk to him!! And she told me not to want to talk to me about leaving. Very poor service from the lady. Even the employees were sorry

We went as a group to have a fun evening. We had a waiter who was arrogant and indifferent to his customers. My wife is celiac and she has no knowledge or attention to this allergy. The meats were not cooked as requested and the waiter did not even come to see us to see if it was to our liking or simply to find out if something was missing. Very bad experience. I do not recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Very very disappointed value for money the steak is equal to the entrecote be careful more expensive the entrecote because there is a tiny sauce that accompanies it but the slice is exactly the same. The carrot cake is clearly industrial and sweet +++ The fries are frozen and nothing is specified on the menu. Does not deserve its name of steak house as such.

The meat is of high quality and the prices make sense, however the plates are quite empty in terms of accompaniments otherwise I recommend good service and good location.

I had the prime rib. The sauce was not hot enough. The tables next to each other had the same waitress and had faster service. We were there 3 hours.

The dishes ordered were very good but the service was ordinary, no smile, no courtesy and the bill was thrown on the table as a sign of dissatisfaction due to the % tip. Its really sad to leave because its a very good restaurant in general.

Being passing through Quebec we were happy to eat a good grilled meat, what a disappointment! At first, the young girls present were friendly but we had an apparently more experienced waitress, who looked stupid, who didnt even look at us for a second during the service. We were shocked to find that we had to pay extra to have a sauce to accompany our dishes, otherwise ketchup mayonnaise... Restaurant which apparently presents well but offers Saputo butter garoché in a dish among croutons and breads decided without any interest. The tablecloth on our table was also stained... Anyway! Very ordinary and the food was bland, no cooking effort, on the plate a poor baked potato and your steak thats all! For a price obviously around $25 per dish, who are we kidding?

This was my worst experience at a steak house. The food is of poor quality. A $55 steak served with frozen fries with nothing else on the plate and a plate of inedible roast beef with powdered mashed potatoes. I dont refer at all!

Our waitress was excellent. Although the time before receiving our dishes was very limited The dishes were OK. Dull. The plates lack love and presentation. Frozen McDonald s style matchstick fries. Prime rib ok Price it depends on what you take but it s limited too. All in all, unless there is a special occasion, I have no reason to really go back.

Stumbled upon this place, highly recommend Le Rascal.

Disappointment this evening for the loyal customers that we are. We love the prime rib au jus, the service and the atmosphere at Rascal. But where we were sitting tonight there was a pocket of water on top of the drywall above us and a drop fell on my arm. We notified the waitress who went to notify the owner. They came to see us and asked if we wanted to change places. We just said we were going to settle down a bit. What was it like to offer us a drink or dessert because of this inconvenience? Its not much to make us forget this failure. It left a bitter taste in the way the owner treats his customers.

Ive been coming for a while now and have never been disappointed and I will always continue to come

This evening, dinner at the Rascal restaurant. Service since the pandemic is dismal. Price of a bottle of wine, I was close to choking, the filet mignon what more can I say that the cooking was overcooked and to finish I also asked for a cesar salad and I had salad iceberg No but its really nonsense the rascal deserves the rating of 1

Excellent service from our waitress. On the food side, asking for red beef arrived overcooked but for the rest, good for the price paid. Normally, the prime rib is really excellent.

Waitress as stupid as her feet, it took around 30 minutes before ordering and another 30 minutes before eating. Medium steak fries for my daughter and medium rare for me... my daughters was burnt and mine was not very tender, I had to give half to my daughter because it was too charred. In addition to frozen fries and no sauce is served with the meal. In short, I will never go back there.

Very expensive for what it is. At $55 a plate, we expect more, much more. A steak, a shovelful of rice, very very drabe. Very disappointing. 3rd time at this restaurant in the last 10 years. It was the last time. There is much better elsewhere for this price.

Do you dream of feeling like youre eating with your grandmother in a CHSLD on a Saturday evening? Grab a table at Rascal! Pay extra for vegetables on your plate, or beg a waitress for a dessert spoon, this one off the menu of the nearest hospital... Seriously a restaurant that looks like a big steak house with a menu worthy of revisions from the Ministry of Public Health to be avoided!

Excellent filet mignon with béarnaise sauce, I had with fries and vegetables ($). A bit of a shame that there were no vegetables offered at the base with the dish but otherwise I liked everything. The creamed corn was very good and the mille-feuille dessert was just as good. Beautiful restaurant, very comfortable seats and good service. I will go back for sure

As you know I have more of a sweet tooth than the average bear and this time I tried the Rascal restaurant. Usually I always have a steak but this time I was tempted by a rosebiff sandwich with its juice. For a business dinner all my colleagues had the same thing as me to make it different. And above all it turns out that I am a regular customer. I highly recommend it. Enjoy your food.

The prime rib is no longer like before, the cooking is lousy and the meat floats in too much artificial broth, no more vegetables, we freeze! We were very disappointed.

My partner had the wrong starter, the waitress only noticed it when half of her soup was finished because she was too busy with all the tables to serve and it was not possible to intercept her, the main meal was OK, but the dessert was awful. And that s saying something. Yet we are not difficult.

The rascal Grill is one that I would never recommend. The waitress was extremely nice and looked almost as if she was being kidnapped. The bread was decent, but slowly and slowly we came to be more shapes like a hotdog. Other people around me were also looking extremely upset and regretful of their decisions. My friend ordered a hamburger just to be greeted with A crusty soggy burger. My brother-in-law ate two bites of his so-called lobster roll, and met with a mouthful of lobster shells. I don t wanna share what happened to him after the experience, but all I ll say is he s in a wheelchair. Don t even get me started with the bathroom, There was not one but two plants growing out of the toilets, but a middle-aged woman sprawled across the floor acting as if She was a fish, the worst part about that She had been my Waiter. For the past two hours my party at this restaurant was permanently scarred from the experience I highly don t recommend. Stay away Bald waitress, who me and my friend described to look as Walter White. The movies that they were playing, were highly inappropriate, and made some cry. The music was three hours of which was chosen by none other than the cat waitress.

My husband loved his prime rib dinner, I enjoyed my haddock. I think that most central Canadians would be pleased with the haddock dinner. Being that Im from Nova Scotia, Im used to larger, thicker, cooked to perfection portions for better prices in NS.

Snails are delicious. The beef is ok nothing more. But its probably the worst service experience weve had in our lives. An expeditious, stupid waitress who forgot lots of things and who, above all, protested at only having 15% before taxes (she would have deserved less). I never thought I would see that. There are certainly much better choices for eating well but above all for being well served in Quebec.

I was disappointed with my flank steak at lunch. The crust was burnt despite medium cooking. Otherwise the rest was OK, but nothing more. However, we had outstanding service. The waitress was very proactive and very funny. A service like I have rarely had.

We were seated on a bench seat at our request but it was very cold and I had to put my winter coat on my shoulders. I had to pay extra to have vegetables on my plate. I think every dish should come with vegetables. If they have a problem with waste, ask if we want them or not. We are not in a fast food restaurant, the Canadian guide asks us to eat a lot of vegetables. He should have this notion in mind. The meat was very good, very nicely cooked.

The dishes are sorely lacking in love and taste! I went there on a Friday lunchtime. My friend chose the steak fries and had to eat it without sauce, mayonnaise and ketchup. It would have been nice with a good homemade sauce, especially for a restaurant where steak is a specialty. We only had a bottle of commercial HP sauce on the table, very disappointing...

The service leaves something to be desired. There are errors in the orders. In addition to being quite expensive, you have to pay extra if you want sauce and/or vegetables in the main dish. Sorry but I cant recommend it. Plus it takes time to get served. There are much better restaurants in Quebec. Dietary restrictions: Fortunately, we take into account dietary restrictions and in particular severe food allergies by providing the relevant information. Unfortunately the dishes are not suitable to counter allergies. The customer must choose another menu if in doubt. Kid-friendliness: There are menus for children. I went to Rascal during training in a room. The staff is very friendly, helpful and the food is excellent.

Very ordinary. The price is in no way justified for a steak. The steak is just okay. Theres better for less. It comes with non-homemade fries and vegetables purchased in bulk, frozen and steamed. The table was in poor condition and the decor was dated. Very ordinary and very expensive.

Went there this week. I am a rep and i m used to go to restaus. The food was good but the service was one of the weirdest service i ever had. I had around 8 seconds to order as the waitress was rushing me. I had to wait 10-13 minutes to talk to her. Waitress are very exclusive at le Rascal, you need to catch them and order very fast!!!!!

We had a Christmas party in a room downstairs, the service was poor and stupid, a $55 meal with unseasoned and raw steamed vegetables, overcooked meat and a frozen dessert. Very disappointing!

THE BEST side of beef au jus Ive ever eaten...better than Magnan!! Restaurant with retro/classy charm. Padded bands and red lights, the atmosphere is superb! Reservation for 23 people. Nice big room, but poor service and ordinary meal. The waitress tells us about her bad mood throughout the evening. We always felt like we were bothering her.
