First time I havent left 5 stars for this restaurant. Service a bit rushed, we are not offered coffee and when I ask for coffee, no spoon for the brew. For the food the Fish and chips, it was really not hot and the Caesar salad with roast chicken, the chicken was dry, like chicken packed in the fridge from the day before but not covered I was a little disappointed. Generally very good restaurant, you have to believe that this is an exception.

I ordered their breakfast poutine, it was good, but would be so much better with their breakfast potatoes! They put tater tots , ultra-processed potatoes, it destroys the taste.

My family and I went to Oeuforie for my grandmothers 80th. We had gone 5 years ago for my grandfathers and enjoyed our experience. However, last night was honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in my entire life. We had a reservation for a private room in the 2nd service at 7:30 p.m., and were told that the group before us had to have left by 7:15 p.m. We arrive around 7:10 p.m., people are still paying. No problem, well wait a bit. 7:25 p.m., there are still people in the room, and we have decorations to put up before my grandmother arrives to surprise her (which I mentioned to the waiters, but no one seemed to care about it). Having worked in catering, I know that a little polite message to these people could very well have been sent (like good evening, really sorry to rush you but we have another group reservation for 7:30 p.m. and we have to go back up the room, it should therefore be vacated immediately). None of this was done, and we waited. 7:30 p.m., the last people leave the room, so we rush in (on our own initiative, since no one has taken care of us). We were told we couldnt go in yet because they had to clean and reassemble the tables. We had to call my grandfather to delay my grandmother, otherwise the surprise would have been ruined. We enter the room. Frankly disappointing atmosphere; gray walls, cold lighting, and a storage cupboard directly inside the room, which created the coming and going of waiters throughout the meal, who left without closing the door. The waiters passed through the lounge several times but without refilling our glasses. My grandmother opened a gift and was reading a touching message when waiters came in without signaling and abruptly turned off the lights for the cake (which we had brought). When they returned with the pieces of cake, they asked my grandmother to pack the gift she had just unwrapped and which she was still enjoying so that they could place her portion in front of her (while they could have served other people in the meantime). Finally, after serving (almost) everyone, they realize that they didnt divide the cake into enough pieces (2 people didnt get any). Following this, no one came to apologize or offer anything to the forgotten people to repair their mistake. Excellent food and rather fast service, but in terms of customer service and customer satisfaction, really a big zero. We were interrupted all evening by disturbing and unnecessary interventions from very stupid waiters who were almost in a hurry to see us leave. We all promised ourselves not to return there for our future events.

It all starts with a crowded entrance hall with more than 40 people and no employee to welcome us. Then we had reserved a lounge to mark a birthday, the lounge is the only access to a storage room where the waiters did not stop traveling to carry and get different things, always leaving the door to our lounge open to the dining room which was particularly noisy, we always had to go and close it. The service of the main course began with a portion of fries spilled on one of the guests, the waiter did not pick up anything, we had to clean the table ourselves. The dishes contained quite small portions, especially the Caesar salad, the imperial rolls. The absence of seasoning in the dishes was quite marked, and the tuna tataki which had to be coated with spices was rather plain with a few spices sprinkled on top. We had to ask twice for things ordered because a starter had been forgotten, as well as the drinks. We brought a birthday cake, the restaurant charges $1.75 per portion for service, coulis and presentation, I have no problem with that, its normal. To make matters worse, there were 10 of us, they cut the very large cake into 8, two guests were not entitled to dessert, and on top of that they charged us for 10 services of cake, or $17.50. Honestly, I would surely have avoided charging for the service of the cake not having been competent enough to divide between all the guests, but to charge for ten when they only served 8, it is dishonest and demonstrates no regret not having served everyone with the cake. It was my last time at this restaurant

I went there with my daughter, a real treat, my daughter finished her dish although usually there is almost always some left on the plate and I really liked the service, the waitress was impeccable, very smiling and attentive to us friendly atmosphere and clean and tidy space I will return there without problem.

We went for lunch and had good service from the waitress. However, not too much of a smile but helpful. I ordered brunch plate, phew, the egg tasted like perfume. I dont really know if the cooker is fragrant but hey I didnt eat my egg. The little hostess who must be at her station waiting for people, chooses instead to go and talk on the cell phone in a small private room while waiting for customers. Not too professional!

The family and I went to eat, there were six of us on Saturday evening for my daughters party, we took the first service, we felt rushed and even one of the waitresses insulted my mother because she told her that it was good except that they were in a hurry to put us out, and they made us feel that a group of 18 was waiting for us Very rude the waitress even see Quibble and arrogant never again. Best lunch restaurant in Quebec! I have never seen a menu as varied as that of Oeuforie. There is something for everyone. Young and old will be delighted. In addition, the restaurant is distinguished by its cleanliness and proudly displays a modernist style decor which makes this restaurant a friendly and warm place. To try it is to adopt it. Honestly? I have rarely had such a surprise for a restaurant. Its been 3-4 times that I go there with friends, my family or people who come from far away to whom I want to introduce good traditional AND classy brunch. Never disappointed by the plates. It s not cheap, but catering has become so expensive that we can t expect anything less. Between $20 and $25, you eat well and a lot, without it being decadent. I like that there are seasonal menus (in September, there were 3-4 special dishes that featured apples) and several local products; bread, cheese, fruit, meat... The childrens menus are not very generous, for $8 my 8 year old daughter - who really doesnt eat much - already doesnt have enough on her plate. Having the choice of baguette or seeded bread, and not just white bread, brown bread, is nice. Many of the little ones next door are homemade and you can feel the difference. We also went there in the evening, for the steakhouse menu. We tried a tartare, my husband was satisfied, and a burger that I found deeeeeeelicious. The potatoes are delicious, every element of the burger was delicious. The service is sometimes slow (more than 45 minutes between sitting at the table and the arrival of the dishes) but it must be said that the restaurant is always very full. Remember to book! The decor is also super cool. For families, we went there each time with our 4 children (from baby to 8 years old) and it always went well. There are high chairs, boosters, but no pencils or coloring so remember to bring something to keep them occupied. Frankly, the servers have always been chill with them, the tables are spaced far enough apart from each other so that we can easily move around to cut someones pancake and collect someone elses juice. I recommend! Vegetarian options: There are choices in meat, you can choose cheese or have something sweet like crepe, but a vegan wouldnt find much besides smoothies.

Very good lunch. I had the Classic 1 egg, bacon, strawberry crepe. Perfect portion. Impeccable and super fast service. The coffee, on the other hand, left something to be desired.

The only negative point is the welcome of the young girl of color without smiling you are in the public it is important the rest very very good lunch and a very nice waitress.

I went to dinner with a friend, then to dinner with my work team and finally with family a second time for dinner. The dinner menu, I found it very ordinary compared to the dinner menu. But, there is even the brunch menu option that I haven t tried. Parking: Places available in the crossroads and also in the next street.

For the second time, I am very disappointed with the plates I ordered. The portion of the salmon tartare was very small, and the poker bowl had a lot of vegetables. I was looking for salmon, shrimp and tuna since they barely had any. Very mediocre for the price charged for these two dishes.

When I go to Quebec, its one of my favorite places. I always eat there at dinner time. The menu is always tempting, I always ask the waitress for a little bit of everything, laughing. This lunchtime, salmon and shrimp gravlax poke, delicious X1000. I was hesitant about the salad and the lobster fritter, the flank steak (which is so good) and a tartare with two salmon. In short, everything is good. I love their Thai soup as a starter, wonderful! The staff is super friendly. The place is beautiful and I feel good there. The only small downside is that some tables, two of them, are very close, but I love the benches and the 2nd floor. Its worth the detour, I only have good words for this restaurant. 10/10

The only thing that bothered me was that a child (about 8 years old) who was with his parents and he shouted daddy and spoke to his father very loudly when he went to the back to the kitchen or even sitting at the table with his mother and neither of them warned him to stop shouting. I assume its someone who works there, but anyway they left before we got our meal. Other than that everything was great, the food, the service nothing to complain about. I would most likely return there a second time.

First of all, great service from Jessica. Then, one of the two owners, a pig face, full of himself, drooling. Supposedly their specialty steak fries. My son asked for well cooked. His plate arrived with a moton of burnt steak that was more than well cooked. Difficult to cut with your steak knife, imagine not chewable. So we turn it over, the great owner, comes to our table and starts trying to explain steak cooking to my son, telling him its not a filet mignon. A pig face. Did he imagine that a person in a wheelchair did not have the intelligence or what it took not to react. Honestly the food is quite ordinary At lunchtime nothing very special or really incredible, the steak dishes very small, burger meat quite dry and lacking in flavor in general, however the decor is cozy, the service is good without being exceptional and you can bring your own wine to compensate. You can reserve a table in a semi-private space for professional or other meetings, which is very nice.

Good morning, I never give negative reviews, but this was beyond mediocrity. Although we had not made a reservation, we were assigned a table, as there were four of us, at 6:00 p.m. because a reservation was not presented. And we were informed that we had to leave by 7:30 p.m. So far no problem, although the waitress (Annick) had no manners (cold and stupid). We ordered our plates. When my plate arrived (10oz sirloin) I asked for rare and it arrived almost raw, 5 minutes less cooking time and it was served to me alive. My partner and her friend ordered a seafood pan for two. Now, while trying to make room, she knocks over a glass of wine. (no courtesy damage). Whats more, when she arrived with the hot pan, the plate began to drip hot broth, I had to huddle down so as not to get it on my pants and my shirt. The plate was disgusting all over the table, on my hand (burned index finger) and in my glass of water. The waitress, (Annick) did not apologize and did not deign to change my glass of water Around 7:20 p.m., she came to see us and asked if we were going to have coffee and dessert. I asked her: Do we have time?, and she replied: No, sorry. joke?. So she asks us if we wanted our bills and I tell her of course So we want to bring back our wine which we didnt have time to finish but she had thrown the corks away. She said oops. , and brings us other corks from other bottles that we dont know if someone contaminated them. In short, LOeuforie Steak fries from Boul Pierre Bertrand in Quebec is over.

Unfortunately after several 40th, 50th birthday dinners for 10 to 60 people I was overall quite satisfied. We always go to this restaurant because everything is very good. But yesterday, it was a bit of a disaster, I had booked knowing very well the 2 services, unfortunately I tried to find elsewhere its the same everywhere. Anyway, in a hurry to take orders, mini steaks, chasing the waiter for a dessert and others like myself who didnt have the chance or the offer for a coffee. We tried this restaurant for lunch since its located close to our car service but it was a mixed experience. First of all, the portions of potatoes and fruit were smaller than we expected, compared to other places we have been to for similar dishes. The eggs benedict was disappointing, as the taste of the goat cheese was not noticeable, which could have added an extra dimension to this classic dish. Additionally, although the omelette was served generously in terms of egg quantity, it lacked flavor and cheese, which could have enhanced its taste. However, one positive was the friendliness of the waitress, who made the experience a little more enjoyable despite the foods flaws. In terms of ambiance, the restaurant was welcoming and clean, providing a pleasant setting to start the day. Regarding the price, the dishes were a bit expensive compared to the quality offered. In summary, although the service was satisfactory and the atmosphere pleasant, the dishes fell short of our expectations in terms of flavor and value for money. For a more memorable breakfast, we probably would have looked for another place to try in the future.

Starters: 2 salmon gravlax with salmon crème brûlée - Very good!! /1 Thai soup - excellent!/1 prosciutto with burrata -o.k./1 vegetable roll -o.k. . Meals: 3 pepper steaks with fries and vegetables - perfect!/1 plate of dumplings with peanut sauces - good/1 plate of General Tao chicken - very good. Desserts-o.k. Average service plus Fair price, good value for money. Bring your own wine. Reservations definitely necessary on Saturdays.

We usually go there for lunch and it s excellent! Yesterday we went to dinner and what a disappointment! The starters were good but the main dishes phew! The risotto was undercooked, it was hard and it was salty! I felt like I was eating the canned rice you buy at the grocery store mixed with bovril! I think I must have eaten 4 bites. When the waitress came back to take our food I told her but she said it was too late and there was nothing she could do. Not even an apology, nothing! She said she would follow up with the kitchen but ultimately, we got no feedback and no reduction even though the plate cost $35! That s customer service! My partner had the supposedly AAA strip steak but its impossible for that to be the case since the steak was tough, bland, not juicy at all even if it was cooked rare, in short, its impossible for it to be meat aged for 30 days. My partner is a chef in another restaurant so he knows this. He thinks they use ungraded meat. So, ultimately it cost $140 for a total disappointment and we wont go back!

We went to lunch on a Friday and the heaters were very hot. We were placed at the front near a heater. My husband placed his coat on the back of his chair and immediately noticed that it was getting hot. He removed it and placed it on the back of my chair. We left and noticed that the sleeve of his coat was burnt, we could see the white interlining as well as the bottom of his coat. We returned to the restaurant and showed the coat. The owner never wanted to meet us. Someone took our phone number and on my recommendation, a photo of his coat. We never received a call...I called back and was told they would call us back. We had no follow-up. My husband can no longer wear his coat and since we have no news, we dont know what will happen. Unfortunately, we will never return for lunch at this restaurant even though we were regular customers. Parking: Quite full, but we always found a place.

Delicious lunch, very tasty, good quality ingredients and generous portion, all for a very reasonable price! The staff seemed a little overwhelmed that morning, but everyone was very nice and helpful. Very efficient kitchen, our order was served quickly despite the traffic.

Very nice evening at the Oeuforie restaurant. I went there twice for lunch and both times I was very satisfied. This time, I went there for dinner with two couples of friends. We had a small private room, it was really good. The food was excellent, the whole group enjoyed it. The service was fast. The only thing I would have to say is that we didnt all have our plates at the same time. A few minutes (5 maybe) we separated the different plates. We will definitely return.

I absolutely wanted to write a review, because each of my visits, it was a delight. We went there for lunch on Tuesday January 9, 2024 and everything was perfect. The welcome, the ultra friendly and fast service by Ivanka. Beautiful presentation of the plates, the eggs benedict with duck confit tasted like heaven, my boyfriends plate, sunny brunch was delicious (didnt have the choice to taste it haha). I never had time to see the bottom of my cup of coffee, I always had a very hot spill. I give all the employees a 10/10, keep up the good work, you make a simple lunch much better than in many places.

45 minute wait at the entrance on Sunday. We get overtaken by half of the people behind us (same number of people) and we learn after 45 minutes that there are 2 waiting lists: reservations, and others... So the management of reservations and the tables are really deficient so that even with a reservation you wait 15-20 minutes... And without explaining anything to anyone, it makes all the customers leave angry..

Usually we go there for lunches, which are always very good, especially those with their shredded ham. So we went there for a romantic meal with our bottle of wine. The services were quickly brought to our table. The lobster bisque is succulent, the two risottos (one with mushrooms and the other with seafood) were perfect, especially the seafood which was not overcooked.

One of the best restaurants in Quebec in my opinion. This is a restaurant to know; value for money, quality of food with its agreements. In short, a restaurant to discover.

Not liking the service when returning the lady said go you were out for 11:00 have a reservation of one have come from Gatineau have not expected to be approached thus have been very polite and eat on the press since it he started to place the tables for their reservation which he had placed next to us not wonderful

Pleasantly surprised, the quality is there, fast service. Lots of choice on the menu. I ate the Surf and Turf, it was one of the best Ive had.

Filet mignon with lots of pull. Cooking Regular steak (blue instead of medium rare). Server absent. Never had any water in the entire 5 hours spent at this restaurant. Disappointing for the price....

On December 2, holiday dinner with work colleagues. 1=It was a long time before we came to take our order. 2=When we received our dishes, the majority were cold! 3=We had only just been served, we cant wait to leave! Beautiful restaurant but a little close to the wineskin tables, few of them listen to what you are talking about. The deyuniers are fantastic, know it well, the perfect presentation the place is Beautiful, I recommend having a reservation, is very popular for the deyuniers and the lunch at noon

Et pour un anniversaire et un bon déjeuner cest la place ont nous laissent faire notre propre organisation des ballons des paillettes le gâteau de fête ect ...
