J’ai malheureusement vécu une expérience très désagréable à ce restaurant sur l’heure du dîner. Au moment d’ouvrir mon pokebol, je constate que j’ai reçu du poulet au lieu du saumon. Je tente de me faire à l’idée et de manger quand même sans me plaindre, mais je n’aimais pas le goût. Ainsi, ma mère a dit a la caissière que j’étais décue, car ce n’est pas ce que j’avais demandé. La caissière lui répond que c’est bien ce que je lui avais demandé. Je me lève et vais la voir, elle continue d’insister sur le fait que c’est ce que j’avais commandé et se justifie au lieu d’assumer son erreur. Je lui ai donc reproché son manque d’écoute, que j’avais été très clair sur mon choix et la cuisinère a tenté de rattraper son erreur en me proposant de recommencer. Bien que celle-ci fut bien intentionnée, j’ai préféré refuser l’offre et quitter les lieux.
Toujours des oublis dans mes commandes, toujours des heures d'attente même en appelant tôt. J'ai dû appelé 5 fois avant que quelqu'un répondent et me mettent en attente pendant 10mins. J'ai travaillé à cet endroit et ce n'est vraiment pas normal de donné autant pas de service.
Si vous voulez aller chercher des sushi sans commander à l'avance , aucun problème. PAR CONTRE , si vous voulez placer une commande à l'avance vous aller le faire pour rien car moi la dernière commande je l'ai placer 6 heures à l'avance et lorsque l'on arrive il n'y a absolument rien de fait et il vous font attendre , cela ça fait 3 fois qu'il me le font donc je n'y vais plus.
j'ai passé une commande de 100S demandé pour 12h30, prête à 13h10, employé malgré lui seul et débordé. Il ne savait même pas ou était rangé les rouleaux de caisse et a du appeler au téléphone qqn. j'ajoute deux thés glacés finalement il ne peut pas me faire le thé noir au lait (la recette ne va pas ) je lui dit pas grave et lui demande de me rembourser et il me dit qu'il ne sait pas le faire, il me propose un produit de remplacement (brownie qui ne me donne pas envie du tout) Expérience décevante. J'avais tellement pitié de ce pauvre employé que j'ai tout de même laissé un beau pourboire car franchement il se donnait à fond mais sinon tellement décevant que je n'y retournerai plus !!!
Pour une 2e fois une commande passée à l'avance n'est pas prête!!! Il y a 2 semaines nous avons passée une commande la veille pour un 60mcx et un ramassage à 17h. À mon arrivée à 17h, la commande n'était même pas commencée!!! De plus, une fois à la maison, nous avons constaté qu'il manquait des items à la commande et qui avaient bel et bien été payés. Ne pouvant pas avoir de remboursement, ils nous ont offert une note de crédit bon pour 30jours. Aujourd'hui, nous avons passé une commande dès l'ouverture, pour un ramassage à 17h. Arrivée à 17h10, la commande n'est pas encore prête!!! Après 50minutes d'attente la commande est enfin prête!! C'est la dernière fois que nous venons ici.

Disappointed again. We hadnt been there for 3 years because the last time we waited 1 hour in the restaurant for the order placed several hours in advance and which was not ready on time. We gave it another chance this evening, because we had a gift card, but it was the same scenario. We ordered over the phone at 3 p.m. for 6 p.m. The employee on the phone tells me that this is precisely the time they are there to take orders. We arrive at 6 p.m., and we are told that this is the next order they will make, but that it will take 20-25 minutes. Having already made it to the restaurant and being a little late to order elsewhere, I say well wait. It was weird, the employee really seemed to expect us to cancel... While they were making our order, we were told that they were out of tuna. We had 3 items with tuna. They had to replace it with salmon... 50 minutes later, the sushi finally arrived at the checkout. There are only 2 of the 4 teriaki bombs ordered. When I point this out, I am told that there are no more... So I am given these two teriaki bombs as a gift... When I arrive at payment, I present the gift card (which only covers a small part of the amount to be paid), the employee tells me that she has to pass it on after we have paid. Finally she made my boyfriend pay the bill in full. They have to start the bill again to use the gift card first, and the system glitches... Anyway, finally, we come out of the sushi shop around 6:56 p.m. with the order requested for 6 p.m.... The sushi is good but nothing more. There is better for less in Quebec City, and they are ready on time. An experience that will ensure that we will definitely not return there again.

Excellent sushi shop. Possibility of taking dishes already made or waiting for the ordered sushi to be made individually. The ingredients and especially the fish and other seafood are very fresh and the taste is delicious. The previous review was written 6 years ago. For a year now, its been a disaster. Three times, the orders were not ready and the employees even had the tact to tell me you understand, we will place the orders online first since they have already paid. After an order was 2 (yes... well two) hours late and passed 3 times, faced with my polite but firm dissatisfaction, an employee returned to my face if you youre not happy, you can submit your CV, were hiring and it will go faster. This totally inappropriate reflection sealed my decision to no longer return to this branch. As I am equidistant from that of Val Bélair, I will favor people who are better organized and eminently more friendly.

Very bad experience. I called at 4 p.m. to order, they told me to come by at 8 a.m. The order was ready one hour late, at 9 a.m. I understand that they are overwhelmed and short-staffed because of Covid, but thats exactly why I called in advance and let them ask for the pick-up time which was realistic for them. If they cant fulfill an order, they simply shouldnt take it. Very frustrating to waste time. They had our phone number, they could have called us instead of having us travel and wait there for 1 hour.
The sushi is good for the price, but the service and work organization in the kitchen is incredibly bad.
We ordered our sushi at 12:30 p.m. for 5 p.m. When my partner arrived at 5 p.m., our sushi hadnt even started. Our sushi was not nice and there was almost no fish. It was just rice. Ordinary... I used a gift card received from them because the last time we ordered (Henri-Bourassa branch) turned out to be very disappointing. No way to order online because there is an error message but it says that this branch delivers so great. I call and no, no delivery. (I just saw their free delivery ad!!) Well pick it up 5 hours later. Errors in the order but the poor thing is all alone and seems very unhappy. Nothing in the counters either...as for the sushi they were ok, nothing more... We gave sushi shop another chance by trying another branch and, even if it was better this time, I have to admit that it wont be them that I think of when I want sushi, sorry.

First time in years that Ive given Sushishop another chance. Kind staff. Miso soup inedible because it was excessively salty. Shrimp tempura starter...I expected it to be fresh made..I was probably given a package that had it in the display, so not crispy and cold. The sushi was very average. Browned avocados and soft tempura too bad.

I have ordered by delivery from the Sushi Shop on Boulevard de lOrmière several times in the last few months. Of the last 5 times I ordered from this branch: - All orders had one or more errors during delivery; - Two of the five orders took over two hours to receive; (The delivery people confirmed that nothing was ready when they arrived) - An order was completely canceled two hours after placing the order; - All orders were missing either soy sauce, baguettes, or both even when requested. I regret to say that despite the good food and sushi choices at Sushi Shops in general, this specific branch is TO BE ABSOLUTELY AVOID.

It says taking Uber orders until 8:30 a.m. and the closing time is 9 a.m.... you should not order at 8:15 a.m. because you will be canceled after 10 minutes of waiting... frankly its ridiculous

If I could have put a zero I would have done so. After 2 hours of waiting, I received one pokébowl out of two and my dessert was missing, so 3/4 of my order was missing. I wait another 1 hour for someone to make me some poké with my desserts. To finally have one poke full and the other half and never having had my extra avocados that I PAID for. So for me, no more sushishop.

No ginger, no wasabi, no soy sauce, only my two extra sauces that they made me pay for. Poorly made sushi. My two extra ying yang sauces were not ying yang sauces (Japanese mayo and teryaki sauce) but normal light mayo. Disappointing, having already worked in a sushi shop I must say that the quality of the sushi and the respect for the customer is far below the minimum standard of the chain. This is sad.
Order for a poke bowl placed at 5 p.m. on a Monday and the confirmation told me it would be ready around 5:37 p.m. I showed up at 5:45 p.m. and was told that my order had not yet started... Really unacceptable and insulting to have waited all this time for nothing. I will never order here again. The food is super good, however there is a big gap in customer service and restaurant management. There are always long wait times! It is not circumstantial, for example on Friday evening, I can understand that the deadlines are longer. But calling on a Tuesday at 2 p.m. to have two Poke bowls prepared for 4:30 p.m. only to be told that they cannot be ready before 6 p.m. I understand that the food is freshly prepared by the cooks, but dont exaggerate.... The Val-Belair branch offers much better service and are able to prepare a poke bowl in 10 minutes even when there are several customers !!! In summary, dont be in a hurry!
Today, May 8, I ordered $50 worth of sushi and I am very disappointed, the rice was crunchy and too salty. In the past I have often bought from the sushi shop on Ormiere and always good but today I dont know what happened but I almost put everything in the trash. Disappointed disappointed I dont know if Ill go back there.

Order to take away. I had never eaten at a sushi shop, I usually order from Yuzu and I really wasnt disappointed, it was just as good. I even found that the portions were more generous. It may be slightly more expensive than in Yuzu though! But I still recommend if Yuzu is closed. A negative point would be the waiting time to prepare the order so you have to plan ahead.

So I had to go get avocados from the grocery store and substitute them in the sushi myself, just to be able to eat a meal that had already cost me almost $20 before that. Neither on the phone when I ordered nor when I came to collect the order was I informed that what I would order would not be as indicated on the menu due to lack of avocado; had I known, I would have let it happen. But then I found out after waiting, driving all the way to pick up the order, paying, and waiting some more. Not to mention I wasnt given the bill, so I cant make an official complaint to the restaurant. I just moved to lOrmière and I was very enthusiastic about the idea of regularly enjoying all the restaurants there. Needless to say, when it comes to sushi, Ill go to Yuzu from now on. For those who delivered very disappointing trays, I, who am used to bringing trays, ordered the same thing as in Saguenay. First of all, we received the new menu which seemed tempting to us, a kit to try for the first time. Once there we order and the guy tells us that there would be a wait... its not our first time in a sushi restaurant so no problem he tells us 30 minutes we are surprised but delighted so we wait 30 minutes. Its 6 p.m. We say to ourselves ok 15 20 more minutes pass we start to ask ourselves questions... it is finally 7:00 p.m. and we have just finished 1:30 of waiting. If you dont know how to estimate your time, just add more. Having worked in restaurants we know how it works. We wanted to try it once... and it will be the only time. They were completely out of avocados so it was impossible to order sushi with avocados... blah... one of our rolls completely fell apart because it was poorly rolled, we had to eat it with a cookie cutter. Otherwise the others were good. I recommend ordering by phone because if you show up on site it takes a long time.
It takes way too long to wait. We were there for the first time to order a Poke bowl, but one of the two employees told us that they could start making the order in an hour and a half. So, we decided to go back in two hours later. We ordered the same thing as before. Finally, we got our meal in the next hour and it didnt taste that good. Its not worth waiting that long for a regular meal.
