I met this wonderful couple at an event at calgary yesterday. I tried their kabab and found it to be so yummy that I bought take out for my family. My family said their kabab was the best and they are still in awe of how amazing it tasted. We are definitely going to be making a trip to Red deer from Calgary to taste their food again.
I have gotten the chicken thigh three days in a row. hands down the best food at the Gas Alley Market. Prices are beyond phenomenal. It’s real food and the owners are so sweet and wonderful 10/10 recommend
I’ve always been a foodie and an extremely picky eater. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants across the world but this one by far is one of the best. They were kind enough to come all the way from Red Deer to Calgary to cater for us. First of all the lagme hand pulled noodles were insane, they were the perfect texture and the beef on top of it was so juicy and tender with the really savoury sauce it was incredible. The cold noodles were also delicious, super fresh and really packed with flavour. The texture was perfect of the noodles. The lamb was hands down the best lamb I’ve had in my life and I don’t even like lamb but this was incredible, it didn’t have a weird smell, it was flavoured so well, cooked to perfection and even tastier with the potatoes and garlic sauce. The naan was a,aging with the food, super fluffy. The dessert was delicious the fried dessert was really nice and there was one with jam and some crumbled topping on it. It was scrumptious. I thought they could possibly get any better but the people were so kind. They are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet at a restaurant, kind, hard working, incredible work ethic. The atmosphere they created at our event was insane. I live in Calgary but I am literally planning my next trip to red deer so I can eat here again. It is so worth the car gas and the drive. You should eat here at least once in your lifetime amazing food and people!
The most delicious food I've eaten in a LONG time! I HIGHLY recommend the Laghman (Noodle + Meat/Vegetables dish). The food was so good I've considered driving from Calgary just to have some more. I've been thinking about the Laghman nonstop since I tried it! The owners are also the sweetest people ever!
The sweetest couple run this place. Their food was wonderful! I especially enjoyed the beef hamburger kabab's and the lamb filled pastry! We also loved the kabuli pulao. So delicious!!!
We went for our anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed. Halal food is always difficult to find. It was nice to know that now in Red deer we can have a halal food. The couple who run this restaurant were very nice. With our order they added the fee dessert. The food was very yummy and service was excellent. The dessert was yummy it was Afghan cake we loved it’s texture and taste. We will definitely visit them again.
This was the first time we have ever had this type of food and we loved it. My Wife and I couldn't stop thinking about it all week! After trying one item (chicken breast), then we tried chicken thigh and we could not decide which was better - extremely delicious flavors! It is a very difficult decision each time we return as everything is so delicious! The meat is very fresh and home cooked. The salad and onions are so crunchy and delicious! The Owners are very kind people and work very hard to bring us their great food. If you have not tried these kabobs and food, you need to do it! Don't forget the dessert as it is also delicious!
Incredibly welcoming owners and food! My husband also loved the honey cake that was kindly offered, it was delectable and incredible textures.
My son devoured his meal! He loved it and he s very picky eater! Dietary restrictions: My son is Celiac. Kid-friendliness: They were super accommodating in letting him try it first.

Wow wow wow!!! Found them in the Gasoline alley Farmers Market. I was blown away by all their food. The rice us like no ordinary rice. Its amplified. The best Ive ever had. The chicken shashlick (or skewer) was soooo moist and the carott salad and meatballs!! AMAZZZING!!! The samsa was absolutely to die for I had to go back to take some home. Home cooked meal for sure. I hands down recommend this to anyone and everyone. Best food Ive had in sooo long, anywhere, EVER! HOW DID I NOT SEE THEM BEFORE THERE? must try. You wont regret it. Amazing warm and friendly owners. Nothing negative to say at all!!!

I had a university event and these lovely people sponsored it. THE FOOD WAS TO DIE FOR IT WAS SOOO AMAZING and it was my first time trying Uyghur cuisine and IT IS MY FAVOURITE all my friends loved it and family it was absolutely delicious. Recommend it to EVERYONE even if you ve never tried different cuisines THIS IS THE BEST IT IS WORTH IT 10000/10 the food was so flavourful and so amazing nothing can top it off

Best food in red deer, maybe in Alberta. The food is so delicious. Big time comfort food but healthy, the chicken is so juicy and mouth watering! Don t get one slice of cake you don t want to share this, so creamy, the many layers with cream inside. I kept eating even though I was full.

Stopped here on our drive back from Kananaskis to Edmonton. Highly recommend this place located in the Farmer s market for their Qabuli Rice and chicken kabab. The grilled chicken was excellent. This is going to our regular stop during our drive through Red Deer. We picked up some Qabuli Rice for our dinner as well. The location allowed us to pick up some gifts for friends back in Edmonton.
Tried the chicken leg kabab with a bit of rice and onion and it is absolutely delicious! Very tender, well spiced and the flavor of both the chicken and rice just blew our pallets away!! Fully fully recommended giving this place a try!!

This is the best kabob ( had the chicken) rice and Naan bread I have ever had in my life. These folks are so kind and generous and their booth looks beautiful at the market. You HAVE to eat here, each bite is flavorful perfection. The chutney the Naan the garlic sauce, no single item was better than the other, its all top tier. Cannnnnnt wait to go back again !!
