I feel a bit bad writing this review because my wife and I have tried coming here several times thinking we must have just been unlucky with the items we pick. To start the service is absolutely fantastic, the servers are quick and always on the spot as well as polite, the interior could use a face lift it looks alittle well worn but this has to be the worst food I have ever eaten, the sushi is suspect at best, the beef in our bento box was rubbery, overly boiled and bland, the pork was borderline spoiled and the miso soup tasted more of dish soap than anything else. Mall food honestly tastes better. We do not plan on coming back any time in the near future.
Great price for Sashimi, the salmon was amazing but tunas were still frozen when bit into it. The maki sizes are huge, very filling.
Great location, cozy inside, but the names of the dishes do not correspond to what I expected. Apparently I did not read the ingredients in the menu, but automatically compared them with what I ate in other places. I recommend baked oysters and miso soup, these are the dishes for which I will return to this place.
Pretty good food! Really good service. Place could use an update on the atmosphere department!
I think I may have just ordered wrong for my taste for my first visit? This place has some really good food reviews and I've been referred by more than one person to try it, but I found the food just ok. To start with the positives, the location is great and the view our the many windows is great at the top of the hill. The atmosphere is comfortable and pleasant, as was the wait staff. The Black Dragon roll I ordered wasn't what I was expecting (I was tired, I thought it was all one roll, but was three separate rolls with the different ingredients) but it had my favorite bite of the day. The crab stick salad was tasty, but was missing the crispy yam in the photo, which was a little sad. I would probably eat this again in the future though. Negatively, the one roll I ate, I forgot the name of because it was very dry and lackluster in flavour. And the tuna tataki I ordered was a large serving size that included spiral radish and a salad portion. But the whole dish was almost a soup, floating in a very strong sauce that (to me) overwhelmed the taste of the fish altogether. It was the second dish I ate and it was so strong, I could still taste it at the end of my meal. It might have just been an off day for me, I will be giving this place another chance in the future, but it didn't really impress me for my first visit.
Food was fine, but the service was extremely disappointing. It took an hour to get our food, and we couldn't help but notice that the staff were so overwhelmed with online orders that they couldn't attend to their in-person groups. Our waitress was doing expo, and the two chefs were fulfilling the online orders before anyone else's. The table next to us was there since before we came in, and they got their small shared plate just before ours. I recommend the owners hire specific staff just for online orders since it's hindering their ability to attend to their in-person customers. I'd hate to see a place that is so well regarded in Red Deer be shadowed by their lack of management in regards to balancing online and in-person orders.
Our favourite stop-over Japanese restaurant, every visit was 100% top-notch! Baked oysters are to die for!!!
Have you always wanted to travel to a foreign land but can't afford it? Well, you can afford to eat dinner here. While the atmosphere may need some upgrades, you will not be disappointed. The food has the most authentic taste, and service is exceptional. Take a trip to the Orient within the city of Red Deer. You won't regret it!
Incredible food and location. I would recommend that anyone that visits red deer eats here on a special occasion. The sushi was Incredible
Kind of upset that I ordered sushi with tobiko and then there was no tobiko. I would have ordered different rolls if the tobiko wasn t gluten free. I feel a little ripped off as I was paying for tobiko and there was none. It was kind of pricey for what I got as well. I called them back and told them there was no tobiko and then they tell me it s not gf. I literally told her I ll have whatever as long as there is tobiko on it. I probably wouldn t have ordered tonight if there wasn t tobiko. Good to know they don t have gluten free tobiko here Dietary restrictions: They do have gluten free, but no gluten free tobiko or soy sauce
Worst sushi restaurant! Reading the reviews about the shady owners not paying vendors, to the poor service in the restaurant chalk up to they only worry about themselves and not customers or vendors it seems. Pretty sad when you don t pay their vendors. I m wondering if they don t pay their food vendors. Ami wouldn t recommend this restaurant and stick to Edo Shady people here
All good things come to an end. And that it did. Unfortunately it is no longer what it once was. Like reconnecting with an old friend only to realize, they ain t the same friend anymore. No all you can eat, no king crab legs, almost all the kitchen items are gone, including the lamb with the lemon sauce. Took away the deep fried sushi, the fruit sushi . Lots of the salads we loved are gone. It s just like any other sushi restaurant now. It s all bento boxes. All the seats are empty it s so quiet, they took away lots of the decor inside, the waitress was rude, the whole vibe was just not it anymore. Definitely not the restaurant I remember and loved. Wish we could go back to 2009-2015, when Barbie was still waitressing. The real OG s will remember her and what this place was like. Just a memory now.
Food was just ok, thought it was way better in the past.
Love this place. I rarely get there as much as I would like. I really recommend the dragon eye maki if you go, the tempura is also really nice. Parking: Lots of Parking Spaces available around Shiso. It appears to be the only business still operating in the building. Kid-friendliness: This place is kid/family friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: The doors appear to be wired for wheelchair accessibility and there is a ramp to ease accessibility.
Been waiting for more than an hour for our food.
We waited more than an hour for our food. Food and the atmosphere was great but the service is disappointing.
Love this place. Great food. Fast friendly service.
I ve been going here for years, used to hit up All You Can Eat Weekends on the regular, never been disappointed. I don t think they do all you can eat anymore, sad face P.S. Alan is/was the GOAT server.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options available (just ask) Kid-friendliness: Staff are friendly and patient with children, and there are plenty of approachable options for picky eaters. Food : 5/5 |
Awesome sashimi at a decent price
Shiso can do no wrong!!
Horrible service
The best sushi In town.
This is one of my favourite sushi spots in red deer, they have really nice portions, amazing food, wonderful service, and the restaurant looks wonderful, 10/10 would recommend to all my friends/family
Beautiful gorgeous restaurant with great food. Had some unique dishes I hadnt tried before as well!
I love this place. Good food, good service
Horrible service. Took an hour for our food. Best part is they missed part of our order. Order 2 hours in advance of arriving, just in case.
A very solid sushi restaurant! Excellent service, quite decent quality of food, and very consistent! Been here a few times now, and each time the service was pleasant and the food tasty! Will keep coming back! Food
Food was really delicious and service was good! The girl waiting on us was working the whole entire lunch rush alone and was super kind and sweet . I ll be back!
Loved the sishimi, maki and sushi! Very Fresh! Fast, friendly service and top quality food. Helpful advice about selection. Great price! Thank you, Shiso! Food : 5/5 |
Good food & customer service. Beautiful decoration inside the restaurant with nice view outside! Will come back again!
Favourite sushi joint ever! Still my favourite of all time even after having sushi at places much closer to the ocean. The flavours are unmatched. Tuna tataki to die for. Rainbow roll with the crispy tempura bits..hibachi shrimp!? You can t go wrong. Everything is phenomenal and reasonably priced given we are landlocked Red Deer. #1 in my heart!
Great place for some authentic Japanese cuisine. The portions are big and well worth the price. The atmosphere is great and the service is impeccable. I ve eaten here multiple times and will come again. Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.
Such reasonably priced sushi, great service. Plus they are open past 9. Will be back next time I am in Red Deer
Excellent authentic Japanese cuisine. Awesome staff.
Got the salmon robata and I have to say for $27 (with tax) so skimpy. Two tiny pieces of salmon that probably don t make up even half a piece of salmon and the fruit was 2 grapes, 2 fragments of pineapple and 2 fragments of melon. Was not worth the price in the least bit. Even though I had to wait 10 minutes for it during pick up, it was cold.
Amazing food! Incredible portions and great atmosphere, classy without being stuck up.
Food was filling everything else was excellent.
Food has gone down hill. The quality is just not like it used to be. Sad it used to be the best place in town.
The food here is amazing. For a low price of food there are excellent. Service is great.
My favorite sushi restaurant in Red Deer. And a fair price for great sushi. Check out their Lunch Specials Food
It was our first experience and would not come back. We had family dinner on family day. After 7 minutes waiting, tired girl met us without any greeting. Server was amazing girl, she put down a lot of efforts to do as good service as its possible. We got our food faster than expected. But the dishes didnt live up to expectations. To much rice, plain fish, onion killed osters flavor (why do you guys put onion into fresh oster?). Warm smooth sake and nice view in the window was the best part of our dinner
Amazing atmosphere, service could be wanting for more as it took longer than usual for the waitress to bring water and the bill, the sushi was excellent and Ill definitely be returning
This restaurant looks better from outside than in there was just one waitress, so they took so long for bring the food, it is my first and last time coming here. Looks are deceiving. Service
Food is yummy, but thats it.. First of I had to wait 10 min at the entrance until anyone noticed me and my child and call us in.. she asked for how many people - it was just me and my child. Then I asked to be seated close to the window so I can see gaetz ave, she said this area is closed and I cant sit there.. lie because soon two couples taking sit there with more tables available even then.. I made a choice of three meals we wanted with my son, but what a surprise - must wait there for half an hour to get it... And shame for chef - it was a black hair in my sushi, just awfully disgusting.. If you ok to be treated like a second sort human, being lied to and enjoy waiting, also dont mind inedible surprise in your dish - welcome to this restaurant... Obviously I dont recommend this place to my friends or family. This place sucks..
Worst sushi I have ever had and I love my sushi Don t recommend. We are eating and was asked to move to new table because they are going todo renovation with customers in the store not professional Food : 1/5
Always great food. And wonderful staff
Delicious food, great variety and friendly staff. Great place to go for lunch or an evening out.
Nice beautiful environment Great service Atmosphere
The sushi had way too much rice and no flavour. The prices were good, but I was very dissapointed didnt even finish my rolls because they were not enjoyable. The staff took a while to see us at the front waiting and sit at our table, then took over 25 minutes for the food to finally come out. When I told the waitress I didnt like the food, she said theres nothing she can do and all their rolls have that much rice on them. Will not be returning. Also the booths were really uncomfortable and hard.
For, as always, was amazing. Service wasnt so great, but they had only one server on staff and they were busy.
The restaurant itself is very nice, but the sushi was bland and was not fresh. Very disappointing for the price.
Ate there today. I have been craving good sushi since moving to Red Deer, and this establishment was recommended. The initial impression was good entering; however when seated, we realized the table was dirty, so we used napkins to clean it when our cutlery arrived. Once we separated the cutlery, our server removed my plate. When I lifted the soya sauce, there was old rice stuck to the bottom and now on the table. The California roll arrived with an egg in it. Its different but ok. The rice had congealed and was gelatinous, so it was either not cooked properly or was old. You could not discern individual rice grains in the cross-section as it was that gelatinous. The gyozas were slightly undercooked but tasted good; however, they were served on a banana leaf next to cucumbers that were clearly old. The rinds were shrivelled and warped, and they held no moisture. It made me wonder if the banana leaf had been reused from a previous customers plate if they couldnt afford fresh cucumber slices. The green tea and miso soup were wonderful, so I had that and skipped the rest of the meal as I was sure it was going to make me sick. we will not be back. Kid-friendliness: Its very kid-friendly. A man had his 7-year-old twins in to dine, and they were racing from their table and leaping into an empty booth for 30 - 40 minutes - running on the cushions, screaming at each other and listening to his phone at top volume, and no said a thing. Our and others tables were shaking.
Cleaning table for 15 minutes.
Quiet. Great sushi.
Love this place!!
Great atmosphere and great food and service!!!
Vegetarian options: They have several vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: I have found it safe for people with Celiac Disease
Its red deer ... Lets be fair But thats was awful to be blunt
Very good
So so disappointed with the food. Dry, tasteless. and unremarkable. Sent back the sashimi as it tasted off.
Was great to see a busy restaurant in Friday night. Sushi was good, great sashimi prices and very good tempura! Glad we have found this for the next red deer visit.
Stopped in on the way through town. The bento boxes were great. Thank you for also being so great with our service dog team.
Great Customer Service. Excellent Food and decent pricing per portion. Our favourite restaurant!!
Ladies are rude talking in front of you they think I did not see it .. I was just asking for my order if its coming cause it was missing but instead saying it in polite way she gave me rude answert that its coming while showing her madness to me .. I like the food I am so dissapointed aside that we are regulars they dont know how to say thankyou as well when they get your payment . Rude employee ever .I lost my appetite after she yelled at me before my faborite order come.......
Always like coming here! Reminds me of the fantastic sushi you can get in Vancouver!! WAY better than 95% of the Japanese Food places in all of Alberta! Food : 5/5
Average at best. Food in past visits has been great... this time... not so much. It wasnt bad, just average. Service was very very slow. They dont clear dirty plates. Half of the table got asked about more drinks, the others didnt. After a poor experience, they add a gratuity to the bill, but dont tell you about it. This may have been my last trip to Shiso. I dont know. I really like sushi. Maybe Ill try it again if someone can convince me its improved. Until then... Ill go somewhere else.
I always enjoy the Bento box. The sraff are always friendly and welcoming. Kid-friendliness: Our 11 year old grandaughter loves to eat there and especially enjoys the sushi and batter fried vegetables. My husband enjoys a variety of the Japanese dishes. I lean more toward western style dishes.
First time here. Selections were huge and the food was so fresh. Prices were comparative.
This has always been my favorite place for sushi !
Went on a Sunday at open, got great table, with view that was mentioned by other users. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, understanding server. Small wait time for food. Got very busy and noticed server handling 10 tables, still checked on us. Food was great, new experiences as well. Must try!! Parking: Fills quickly as get busy. Kid-friendliness: Has high chairs, children handled with care. Wheelchair accessibility: On main floor no ramps.
Sushi was very good. Enjoyed the combo and salmon skin temaki.
Mediocre at best. Everything tasted bland. Sushi rolls were oversized with so much rice and udon just did not resemble udon.
Each time weve eaten here the service has been attentive, polite, and friendly. With charming decor and a wide expanse of plate glass views perched up on a hillside, the environment is always refreshing. Also, we found the place to be clean. Not super cheap (they removed the all-you can-eat special and the price of the bento boxes has shot up a bit), but still nice. Perfect for sushi and assorted Japanese delicacies. Easy to eat healthy but they need a gluten-free soy alternative and a menu highlighting the gluten-free items.
Poor server was crazy busy, and forgot items, didnt ask about our food, etc. Cant blame her though, she was clearly slammed. The food was ok, baby calamari was soggy though. All around an ok visit.
Gyoza and veggie tempura are amazzzzing. Ive been there hundreds of times now and it never disappoints.
It was Saturday evening, so busy. But food was so good. I am highly recommended this restaurant. Prices are reasonable. Food : 5/5
Gone to this place many times the food, service, and atmosphere never fail to give its best! Everything is fresh, and you can taste the freshness in every bit! Definitely recommend going with a group, and sharing is the best way to go when visiting and ordering. You can then get to try a little of everything ordered.
Amazing sushi lunch & awesome wait staff :)
Still enjoy coming here for sushi. The staff is excellent - they help us order sushi for my mom who has celiac disease and she has never had an issue. Great experience! Dietary restrictions: Great knowledge of what to order for someone who has celiac disease
Best fresh oysters without sea rock crumbies in your mouth. The brine and everything makes them amazing. Melt in your mouth salmon sashimi and red tuna. Great service even when low on servers. They move FAST. SO happy every time we are there
I love the food their it really good my bf and I love going their and love the style of the restaurant staff is super friendly
Place was clean, service was excellent, food was amazing and fresh! Tuna, butterfish, smoked salmon, salmon, smoked eel was perfectly prepared. Definitely recommend Food : 5/5
It was my first visit. We had bento boxes. Nice to be able to create your own bo with the numerous choices available. Good food and service.
Food was just ok. I ve had better. Fried rice was blah, and hibachi steak was nice and dry.
Best sushi in town so far!
Great view, the best sushi in Red Deer!
Great service and a chill enviroment. Best sushi in town!
Perfect place for everything, I love it
I went to Red Deer (4 hours away from home) for some sales training. My usual worry in a different City, is - wheres all the good food at?! Getting into town late - and looking at the google reviews - we settled on Shiso. This was the BEST decision we could have ever made! The portion sizes were double the size Im used to; and easily double the delicious taste!! We got their an hour before close; and the staff still greeted us with a welcoming smile. The cozy atmosphere and the breathtaking view are literally just the icing on the cake. I will absolutely stop here any time I am in the Red Deer area - as it truly was 2nd to none! Thank you Shiso for the amazing experience.
My first experience here was just amazing. Good service, good price, and atmosphere! 10/10!!!
Food is excellent for me but the service is kinda slow. hopefully theyll work it out.
We arrived on a Sunday at noon and got to sit as a group in the Japanese style side sitting area which is great for people with kids. The waiter was super nice and friendly and gave us great suggestions on food. Plenty of sushi options and the fish was fresh and high quality for the price. We also had BBQ eel combo and yakiudon and they tasted great too! My only complaint is the waiting time is long but we were a group of 7 so that might be why. Overall a great restaurant and reasonable priced, will be back if we are in the area! Kid-friendliness: Good for kids, lots of options for kids and have milk on the menu.
First truly authentic Japanese experience since I have left Ontario! Great fresh food hand sliced in front of you and a great atmosphere! Food : 5/5
I order take out here often and this is my go to spot meeting up with my girlfriends!! The food is always amazing! Avocado Maki, Mexican Maki, Crab Shrimp Roe Salad is to die for! Shrimp tempura is ! My kids all LOVE the salad and always hog it back when I bring it home. The staff is always super friendly and just a nice little place to dine in!!
Food was amazing! Service was quick. Will definitely come back
The food was really good and the service was awesome. I had takeout, but took a look around, the restaurant is very clean and modern, do not be fooled by the office building look from the outside. Will be back!
Best sushi all around
Have come here twice and had a bad experience both times the waitress was nice but not great. Food is not good, old rolls that are dry and don t have any flavour. There are better places for a much better price in Red Deer. Check out Sushi Koon or mono they are quieter but offer a much better experience.
The service was beyond excellent, pleasant, timely and she really knew what she was doing with different suggestions etc. Food was terrific, had a bento box which was very filling and included three different meats, rice, dipping sauce and fruit. Would highly recommend.
Shisos quality went waaaaay down. Not the Shiso that I knew 5 years ago. Food: cold, bland, salty, dry, tasted burnt Service: impersonal, impatient, slow Food : 1/5 |
Does not look like a great spot from the front, but very nice looking place inside. Enjoyed my meal. Classy service.
Its my favorite restaurant to go to every time Im in town!
The food and service here is exceptional.
The best place to go get sushi in red deer and a great place for a first date or just date night. It has amazing views, and the servers are really friendly and amazing they can be a bit more attentive, but thats the only thing youll never have a bad experience hear.
Great sushi, fresh, a lovely menu selection. Good pricing, a lovely atmosphere.
Food was great, good menu, only problem with the service was understaffed.
the bus
More atmosphere then food. Everything was great but slightly overpriced compared to other options. If you have a big party(10+) of sushi lovers this would likely be the best place to go but if youre looking for better service/sushi for $ Id recommend looking a little more south on Gaetz Ave.
Ordered food by myself, 2 snacks, 6 pieces of sushi and 1 roll. Took over an hour to arrive, the baby calamari was inedible (I am a big seafood fan, but the baby squid was super tough and tasted bland and way overcooked.). Rice for sushi and roll was already crunchy and dry, taste was average texture was bad, and the fact I waited over an hour made it way worse. Seems like they only have 1 server, its a Monday night, not that busy, maybe 10 tables the whole time I was there, but a bit of a bummer it wasnt very good.
Best restaurant in Red Deer. Great food and portions, service and atmosphere. My favorite items are the Tuna Tataki, Tropical Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll and the Yaki Hoso Roll. Food : 5/5
Atmosphere is good, however the food is not acceptable. The sushi rice obviously overwater, it s like eating a dough, sashimi is ok. Would not recommend.
The quality of the food is always top-notch. Im never disappointed with how nice the servers treat you or how delicious the food is. The wait for food is sometimes a bit long, depending on what you order or how much you order. The servers are always super busy, so sometimes it takes them a bit to get to your table. Overall, its a very nice place to dine out when you have the money because this place is pricey.
Becoming very rundown. Time for some renovations
Little slow, but to be expected on a Friday night service was still great, though. I got the bento box with lamp rack Korean BBQ ribs and lemon chiken. The BBQ ribs were amazing, and so was the lamb rack. Also, I got the baked oyster. It just melts in your mouth when you take a bit. Kid-friendliness: Super kid friend and even baby friendly. Will give you a booster seat for your little ones. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the first floor. No hills, no stairs, just go through the double doors, and youre in.
Sushi is mediocre , over priced for what it s worth prepared well but the taste wasn t there
Amazing service and a great view. Enjoyed the sashimi and maki.
Easily my favorite Sushi restaurant around Red Deer. Ive been to japan and this place is very close to the sushi places I went to in Osaka and Tokyo. Never disappointed.
The worst food I ve had in red deer to date. Will never go back
The food was terrible, rice was chewy and chicken very dry and cold. Server never cared if we were happy with service. Pretty expensive for what you get!
My mom, sister, niece, and I had a Spa Day earlier, and this was the perfect way to end our relaxing day! Delicious, fresh sushi in a place that is so comforting. I absolutely love Shiso!! My all-time fave sushi restaurant in Central Alberta. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, wheelchair accessible entry
High quality sashimi. Attentive service. Had corner booth with nice view.
Too much rice on the sushi rolls. Disappointing:( we were so excited and hopeful that it was going to be good
This is the sushi place with the best atmosphere/location in town. The sushi is not the best, but the other Japanese offerings/appetizers were great!
Great service and the best tuna tataki! Lunch prices are very reasonable
Predictably excellent food and good service. Good view from their huge window, somewhat Japanese ambiance, though adapted to North American standards. Worth going back routinely.
Something s changed we have been eating here for over 8 years and never had a complaint. The rolls we received last night had so much rice and little to no salmon or crab, some had nothing but avocado and cucumber. I would rather pay more to for the old quality then to pay the same for a lower quality product.Very disappointing.
Always love this place. Food is amazing, always friendly staff food is fresh.
delicious eel
Great restaurant, awesome food but the wait staff is HORRENDOUS. Three tables in a row (out of 4 tables) literally had to get up and find the waitress in the side room to pay their bill or order a drink. Such a shame.
Fresh food. Wonderful atmosphere. Amazing choices.
Excellent variety...didnt need to worry about the kids, they loved it. Everyone wants to come back soon! Love going back again and again.
Fantastic food quality as usual! Presentation very well done! At my most recent visit, my server was extremely polite, attentive, and efficient! 6 stars for exceptional service with a smile!
Wow. I just had the sushi and sashimi combo and the quality of the fish was perfect. SO good! Service was good too.
My family loves going to Shiso. Food and service has always been on point.
Always a treat, we generally go here for special occasions. A wide variety of dishes and drinks, and a spectacular night time view of the city. Service is very good, and the food is excellent. Prices are reasonable and there is lots of parking.
Great place
great place, nice view and authentic food.
Everythings Amazing. We are addicted lol love the staff ! Amazing ppl all around. Clean and nice
Always the go-to sushi place for me and my friends. Have never been disappointed.
Fresh ingredients, food are nice, service is excellent.
Everything about Shiso was excellent! The quality of the food, the price, the atmosphere and the service were all great, I will definitely be going back.
Food Quality definitely went downhill and portion sizes. They even charge $2 Sriracha Hot sauce were its free everywhere else.
The best real Japanese food i have ever had in Canada. Fantastic food and great atmosphere. Look forward to going more often. Great job!
Very good, will go again. The food was great, had octopus balls, Mexican maca, and some other sushi roll with roast beef in it ( it was good with a bit, a little lacking with flavour and the rolls were a little large to try to put in your mouth). I know it sounds strange. But really, my friend and I were struggling to cram them into our mouths. As when. You cut them in half( bight sized pieces) theyd fall apart. Other than that, very good. Nice, clean. Polite and courteous staff, decent prices. We will go again.
Food is usually pretty good, but service isnt always the best. If you eat in its usually pretty good, Its just ordering take out that isnt great. Make sure you have the right amount of cash if you pay cash on delivery as the delivery driver will get annoyed with you and doesnt carry anything to make change. I had to pay with coins as I would have paid double my orders cost on top of the 6$ delivery fee for him to drive literally 2 minutes, just for him to inspect my coins and refuse to take some of them making me short, then got annoyed at me. Any other delivery couriers carry a bit of cash to make change. My miso was spilt with old crusty spilt product on the lid and soggy napkins thrown on top. Id rather just drive to Calgary or Edmonton to get sushi honestly.
Ive been here many times over the years. Always great food and great service. Prices are very reasonable especially compared to similar restaurants in Red Deer or the bigger cities.
Shiso goood! Wife and i love coming here will always be back!
We absolutely love this place. Food is amazing. Views are the best for any restaurant in the city! Love going here for any reason, bento boxes are a great work day lunch, and the maki/sushi boats are the best supper ever.
