We drove down the alley, behind Shoppers and saw this place. They really need a website with their FULL menu. It looks like just pub food, but OMG!! THE BEST steak sandwich my husband has had in years!! The atmosphere is chill and cozy and Ashley, our server, was amazing! Will definitely be back!! Greatful to find this little gem!!

I go here often ... Since Ive found them ..... The servers are wonderful ! If you ever have a problem here ( service is taking a little long .).. Bring it up ... They are busy people and not doing this to you deliberately.... I have yet to have a bad visit here Parking: It gets busy ... Chances are good you wont be able to park right by the entrance, but .. there is definitely lots of spots to park your car Wheelchair accessibility: You can totally get in here with a wheel chair ... I will point out they do not have a button to press that will open the doors for you though

Went for an amazing steak sandwich at Leahs... we can never go wrong there for quality and price. It was our third time there and is always our go to when in Red Deer. Chrystal was our server and did an excellent job, plus made me an excellent tasty caeser drink as well, which I find is sometimes hard to get. Looking forward to our next time.

Nice little Hidden Gem. The food menu is very big. lots to choose from and its all very good. The staff is very friendly and fast am I drink is always full.

Really great staff and food.

Food is good and the staff are friendly. Only one complaint was that when I ordered the mac and cheese bites, I didnt get the veggies with it as stated in the menu. Thats happened twice now. Ah well. Well be back, Im sure.

The service was absolutely disgusting 12 people in the bar and I waited an hour each time to be served 3 beer in 3 hours I asked for my bill and after half an hour I had to go to the till and remind her of my bill food was good waitress staff needs to be replaced

Went for wing night and the pub was busy. Wings tasted slightly tough and midly freezer-burnt... Service was good. The pub could use some lighting. Its lot of wings in the order and they wouldnt allow to take leftovers home; I would gladly pay for a box rather than waste food.

This is by far the best pub in Red Deer. The menu is amazing and all the food is delicious. One of the best Caesars in town. 12 dollar steak sandwich. All fries are home cut. The bacon Mac and cheese is the bomb. Wings are amazing. Staff is hilarious. Place feels like home. I may be a long time customer. But I don t go anywhere else if I can help it. The crew was more than happy with todays meal and service. Highly recommended old school pub!! Shout out to Jen for her great attitude, and for making everyone laugh today.

Great place to have a drink! Food is great but service is slow. Don t get me wrong, they are very nice waitresses, but I think it s habitually understaffed. Either way, worth checking out :)

Like lots of the other commenters here - Lunch/Afternoon to grab a bite to eat is ugly for service. Sat for 15 minutes before going up to the bar, and there was still no one there. A regular had to yell for the waitress to come out - after 5 minutes, I think the owner maybe came out? She was friendly, trying her best to take orders. I really appreciated her. Ordered Cajun chicken wrap with fries - unlikely lots of the other commenters here, I dont think the fries are burnt - I think their oil hasnt been changed in a long time. Taste oily, but not over cooked - just not good. A shame, cause the cajun chicken was great. All in all, a very sub-par experience, and it started with the service. Very, very poor - but good(ish) food.

It was my first time in Red Deer and was recommended to this place by some friends. Hidden in the corner between 2 strip malls. Walking in, you instantly feel the atmosphere, good music, and a friendly greeting. The food is fantastic, and there are definitely lots of options to choose from, whether youre looking to try something new or stick to a classic burger or steak sandwich. Its all there. Its definitely a huge recommendation in my books!

I was there on Saturday evening 11pm ish took forever to get anything and not my scene. And who is Fynn maybe you should check b4 bullying people for their bad reviews. Some of us dont leave them on days we were there. I do my reviews of places in bulk

Today awful.., great food as usual but the waitress didn t serve the steak sandwich until it was cooled off although the place was not busy at all. Difficult to make eye contact with her to order more beer as she was visiting with clientele sitting at the bar she turned it into a FY moment. I never saw anything like it.

Been sitting here for 45 minutes and still waiting for my food....Tuesday afternoon at 230 pm, almost empty bar. My drink has been empty for 20 minutes now and server still hasnt come by so I can get another... Id leave but Im starving...its gotta come soon...right?! Ill update if I waste away to nothing or finally get my food....Update: 2:37pm apps arrived...burnt. Asked for water...still waiting at 2:50pm...maybe Ill get it with my food?? 2:52pm Food arrived...burnt fries and had to return a sandwich that had tomatoes (requested none). Got my water! All in all... Definitely not worth it. Id eat pretty much anywhere else for lunch. Terrible service and food. Affordable or not.

So theres amazing service here - the food is equally amazing and the vibe is always chill. Jen in particular is the sweetest human and she goes above and beyond as a server. One of our favorite lunch spots. I love the steak sandwich and the LBG burger. Its massive and delicious. Staff is friendly and the drinks and everything is very reasonably priced.

his was the most terrible experience Ive ever had! first off the server didnt greet us, just asked what we want... then delivered drinks to multiple other tables before even even bringing our menus. then served multiple other people who came in after we had sat down and ordered our drinks again before us! I ordered a hot tea... and she rolled her eyes at me... i wonder if Im not good enough to serve cause I wasnt getting drunk or going to hit on her. we left unserved and unhappy!

If I could give negative 10 I would Ive been in the service 25 years been management of bars it is a Tuesday afternoon about 3:30 and your service sucks I sat there watch her take a tray of drinks to 2 other tables thats fine could it greeted me as she walked by then came up to my table and goes what would you like to drink I ordered a high ball cause she said it was happy hour my friend ordered a hot tea she rolled her eyes. man already went to the bathroom sat down he got his beer before me even though she has my order already and everyone at the bar got refills I literally got up and left I do not know how you keep your doors open you must have great regulars but you need to fire your servers or let me train them . Im about tipping and thats her lost . I will never step foot your bar

This little hole in the wall comes highly recommended. The prices are right. The food is made in house and very very good. There wasn t one item on our plates that wasn t delicious. 4 of us had different plates for lunch. Jen is like a super waitress that should be wearing a cape. Two thumbs up from us just passing through Red Deer. Oh and they have pool tables and gambling machines if you are so inclined.

Had a terrible experience here unfortunately, wrong food and they didn t even bring my meal at the same time as the rest because the kitchen forgot on dish sure it happens then to bring me out the wrong dish and the waitress didn t even ask if everything was good just dropped it and walked off to top it all off my food was cold, so I guess my first time being here I ll definitely be my last.

This place is still home. Awesome drinks and affordable food and lots of smaller events with the occasional big show! Also dont forget the wings! Leah is the best!

Great food and service. Always a good friendly crowd. Decor hasnt changed in 20yrs or so. Needs a face-lift and the bathrooms are looking rough as well.

Have been going to Leahs since I moved here. It reminds me of the pub back home. Food is always awesome!! Never disappoints. Great specials of the day. Prices are reasonable, lower actually than alot of places now days. Service is always friendly, cold beer, all generations of ages. Management is on it if there are any issues. Great place for lunch, dinner, drinks and live music. I always end up here for these reasons. Flying solo? The bar is a great place to feel comfortable and others to chit chat with. No thanks, wont come back. Beef dip was soggy and greasy, ceaser salad was way over dressed and again soggy. The waitress forgot what drinks where ordered, twice. The whole place had a musty smell to it.

It was my first time to Leahs Bar & Grill. And definitely will not be my last. The day before visiting Leahs Bar & Grill, I had a question regarding the pub which I submitted on their Google site, staff responded within 20mins, I was instantly impressed! After my visit, I can say I truly enjoyed the place. My friend and I sat on the patio, which was great also on a sunny day. The server was extremely bubbly and inviting, very personable, instantly you feel welcome to the pub. Beer was served cold, menu has a huge selection of food items - truly something for everyone! Really you must visit to see the menu! Decided on a few appies to share, went with the Hot & Salty wings which was recommended by our waitress! Very unique, with a solid punch of flavour, good size of wing also. But.... wait for it.... the Spinach Dip was seriously...unreal..out of this world delicious,... thick, creamy, warm & super cheeesey. Im not one to order a Spinach Dip, in a bar, as my first go to, but I tell ya..Im still craving the flavour of this hot dip 2 days later!! LOL Excellent - hot Spinach Dip! For entree, we both ordered the steak sandwich, thoroughly impressed with the variety of side options for a very affordable bar steak sandwich, quality as well as flavour were great. I think it goes without saying, I highly recommend Leahs Bar & Grill! Servers are welcoming, the place is clean & tidy, cocktail variety is endless, and what will keep you coming back visit after visit... the food is top notch, definitely not boring old pub grub! This used to be our go to place every wing and karaoke night. Food went down hill as well as the service. Wings are now hit or miss, sometimes perfect other times under cooked or over cooked never consistent. The service has been horrible seems like their always short staffed. Mabey will try again in a few months see if theres improvement again.

My husband sang a song and I recorded it. After he returned to the table, I was reviewing the recording. I had my head in a downward position looking at the recording, the server, Justine determined I was sleeping, and refused to serve me anymore. My husband tried to explain the situation and he was told if he keeps it up, he will be kicked out as well. We have become somewhat of regulars here, and were shocked to be treated in this manner. Justine has been a big flirt to my husband, and rude to me several times, now we will not return until she is removed from her employment at this amazing establishment. Security also needs to be able to show the bar staff when they might be wrong! We were not even given a warning! Leah, we truly are respectful people, your oun staff can vouch for us. Your video will also show we were targeted by one ignorant individual! I hope to return to your establishment soon! Ok send it

This restaurant is located in Red Deer, it was easy to locate and its local to the area. The service was amazing, and the food was even better. The atmosphere was okay, it was quite dark inside, but its a great local spot! I do recommend you give this place a try, the food was to die for and worth the wait.

Came to Leah s from out of town for an Halloween event that was being hosted. The bar was packed which was good for them, however, the entertainment was subpar at best. The DJ was too busy running around like a lost chicken, was very disorganized & seemed to have skipped order for people he knew personally. Not to mention all the technical difficulties he was having. Then the came the costume contest. The waitresses were overheard talking to each other as well as to who I am assuming was the owner, about how the DJ wasn t the judge. However, he went around and picked out people, by name, and chose the winner with no regards to the staff themselves. Was very disheartening & unwelcoming. This was strike 3 for me. Leah s could be good on a typical day, but are always disorganized and poorly execute events. But hey, they ve got decent spinach dip.

Leah s used to be the go to place for wings and karaoke. I m not sure what happened this past Thursday but it was awful. In bullet point form to keep it short and sweet: - Watched our drinks sit on the bar for 20 mins before brought to us - Water slammed down in front of one of my friends after she waited 20 mins for it - Another drink order forgot, and not addressed once brought to Leah s attention. The friggin business owner. **EDIT: I thought it was the business owner. I was mistaken. I would like to correct myself, it was not Leah I spoke to. My apologies for the mistake.** Finally got the drink approx: 45 mins after asked for it after a 3rd reminder - Wing order had to be retaken after 45 mins of order due to the order not being put in. - Karaoke sound was just terrible. People had to scream in the mic to be louder than the music - Guy needs some training or another person employed. - Wings were good, after an hour of waiting to get them. To play devils advocate, it was busy, we were a large table. However the issues continued after it died down, which happened very quickly after karaoke started, and for very good reason. I have been here before with it being just as busy, on a wing night with karaoke and everything was so great. The food, the service, the music, the karaoke. I struggled to leave this review. I recommended this place for my friends birthday and she obliged, and I was apologizing profusely and slightly embarrassed. This is to raise awareness to the business owner, I don t know what s happened girl, but it needs to be fixed.

I mean, its a dive bar. its crowded , its hectic , its old...but the food is decent, the waitresses are skilled and the food comes fast , prices are decent and the food is pretty good. I like it. PS....add a truffle oil salt and pepper to the wing list please !!!!!

This is a pretty good place. I recommend.

We went in for a drink and a bite to eat. We got our first drinks quickly. My friend ordered food right off the bat. It took at least 10+ minutes before I could order mine. Then she brought drinks We didnt order. It took about a half hour to get our food, after I ordered, so my friend waited around 45 minutes. The food was OK, a bit salty. We asked for the bill and it still took 10 minutes. It wasnt that busy, but the server was spread out everywhere.

Was accused of not paying my bill? I had water.. I ordered spinach dip it never came as everyone i was with had gotten there food and started to eat. By the time the waitress came back everyone was almost done eating so I told the waitress I never got it and she said and both her and the cook forgot it in the oven. so me and my boyfriend paid for everything we had (except the spinach dip because we never got it) then they tried to charge my friends i was with saying I skipped out on my bill... as well as 3 out of 4 drinks we ordered were wrong as well. Will not be back.

Jen is an ABSOLUTE beautiful gem. Great service, made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked into the establishment. Will be coming back here on a Thursday for karaoke!
