Twice now the server has made dining here an upsetting and uncomfortable experience with disrespectful, inappropriate comments about the LGBTQ+ community. First she commented that people should not transition if they were just going to be ugly anyway, and this time insinuated a past trans patron was a sexual predator because they had a beard and wore lipstick. Please develop some compassion to not cast such ugly judgements onto other people.

Food and service are great. Prices are a little steep.

We love the food but I cant say enough about the staff and the owner of Its All Greek to Me. They are so helpful and kind. The owner came in early on a long weekend to make a big meal for my moms 65th birthday as it was the only food she wanted. The owner was extremely accommodating and my family is forever grateful.

Went for dinner on a Sunday evening with my 20 year old daughter. Katarina was our host and she was super friendly and knowledgeable about all of the different options, and fun to talk to. We order the Mezes(?) platter for 2. LOTS of food, and delicious!! We had the chicken and ribs for the meat and everything was so good! We left way too full, bring your stretchy pants!

Visited this gem for the first time as we passed through Red Deer. Greek salad was fresh and refreshing, lamb and chicken skewers were cooked to perfection (nice and juicy), pita bread and tiziki sauce were so good. Owner was very easy going and nice. Thank you so much for an excellent meal!

Weve been going there for years and always loved it. They have beautiful decorations and excellent service. The waitress always remembers us and life events even though its sometimes months between visits. Its very excellent food, extremely satisfying experience over all. Vegetarian options: They have very comprehensive vegetarian options, and the vegetarian platter was absolutely delicious!

This little restaurant in Red Deer was over the top amazing! I love Greek cuisine and this is up there some of the best I have had. The food was so good that the next time we are in Alberta I will be sure to stop there!

Love the Greek ribs. They were tender, juicy, fall off the bone and well seasoned. I think the best ribs in Red Deer. The portions are large, enough for two old people like me. Save room for dessert also. I am not sure what it is called but it is a baked filo wrapped custard. Yummmmm. The staff are friendly and approachable. Great dining experience.

Possibly the best meal Ive had since moving to Red Deer. My husband and I got the meme (dinner for 2) 4 courses so you get to try a little bit of everything. Dips were fantastic, homemade pita, and the lamb shank is so good its crazy! Definitely will be back!! Food

My date and I went there last night and the food was absolutely fabulous . Bobbi was our server and she was very knowledgeable, gave great service and was very pleasant to chat to! She shared the history of the restaurant. I met the owners at their special table where they sit and they were all very very friendly. We chose the meze. It was 49 dollars per person and you get to try all the best thing this place has to offer. The meat was exceptionally prepared, if you have never been here the meze option is the best. The service was great, she was pretty busy tonight but still handled us with care. Thank you!

Roasted lamb is worth it, so is the dip plater...the rest meh. We didnt try everything but meze gave us 12 dishes to try most were average or less than( under seasoned over cooked) but that roast lamb was excellent.

This was a very delicious meal. We ordered the Meze for 2 a 4 course meal. The quality was amazing, everything tasted rich. The first dish was 4 dips and pita. The pita was warm, slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The dips were flavourful and paired well. The second dish was calamari, meatballs, a pastry like outside with cheese inside and meat and maybe rice wrapped in a leaf. The third dish was a salad and it was a good amount. The last dish is the entree you can choose pork ribs, chicken or lamb chop. We got the ribs and lamb. They both fell off the bone. The quantity was perfect. The service was great, we had a lovely waitress even though it was a busy time she was still on top of things and was personable! Would highly recommend to try.

All Greek ambiance super good food and service. Vegetarian options: Broiled vegetable skewers mushrooms, grape leaves, hummus & zantsiki sauce were delicious. Lamb was super soft & tender but the service was super friendly. I got a free Birthday desert. I felt at home

They really went above and beyond for a large group lunch we requested. 20+ people to cater for on a Monday when they are usually closed AND they even delivered. I will definitely be back and will make sure to tell everybody about the great food and service.

The family atmosphere and amazing food are only reason to visit this place. From the three dip and pita to the Greek ribs to the Spanokapita and Moussaka...all the freshest ingredients and best flavors you could ever want in a Greek dining experience. And how could I forget the belly dancers on Saturday night...Stop in and say Hi to Nick and his family.

Great little restaurant for delicious Greek food

I dont know how this place has good reviews it was hands down the worst place i have ever eatin in and the service was terrible. 4 of us went on a saturday night and we had a reservation for 6 oclock for a booth that we had made a week earlier for my sisters birthday and when we get there they know nothing about the booth so we get a table with crappy old uncomfortable chairs. I forget exactly what the other ordered but i wasnt that hungry to i ordered a ceaser salad which was $18.95 we waited a hour and a half to get our meals. they had brought 2 of the people i was with their ceaser salad after about 10 minutes then they waited another hor and 20 minutes for their main course. I waited the full 90minutes for my salad which was basically a big bowl of iceberg lettece with exactly 2 crutons and no cheese or anything else and a tiny tiny bit of dressing. that was $18.95 and took 90 minutes i could have driven to the grocery store went home made a better salad and ate it in less time. 2 of the others could not eat most of their fries they were so soggy. worst place ive ever ate at in my life. nothing like the greek restaurants ive eatin at in b.c. The atmosphere was not even good very outdated and small inside.

We went here for our anniversary dinner, and got the Mezes dinner for 2 Was absolutely smashing! The pita and dips were a great starter, and then the sampler platter with a healthy portion of calamari, followed by a superb Greek salad, and then the piece de resistance... The roast lamb Tender, savory, cooked to absolute perfection, this is one of the best roast lamb dishes weve ever had, and we eat lamb every anniversary. Bobbi, our server was amazingly accommodating for our 2 littles, made us feel very at home, and her service was absolutely on point. She is clearly a pro. We will absolutely eat here again, and well definitely tell everyone we know about the incredible food and the fantastic service. Dietary restrictions: They were very accomodating for our toddler, who (sadly) is gluten and dairy free. He absolutely devoured his lamb skewer with gusto. Parking: Lots of parking here, not hard to find. Kid-friendliness: Bobbi went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, was very friendly and interactive with our littles, easily accommodated our dietary requests, and when the witching hour hit, was prompt with our bill, but never made us feel uncomfortable or rushed.

Good, authentic Greek food served in very large portions. Plenty of menu options. Knowledgeable staff are able to answer questions about the dishes and offer suggestions and recommendations. Nice atmosphere.

I had a work Christmas dinner here and every dish that was served was delicious! We all ate our hearts out. I wish there was a location in Edmonton. I can t have calarami/Cesar salad/baclava anywhere else again because I ll always compare and think of the ones served here! Highly recommend for anyone who likes or don t like Greek food because this place will make you love Greek food!

My girl found this spot online, she lives in Edmonton I live In Calgary. We decided to try this spot passing through. We found authentic tasty Greek cuisine, I had the lamb and chicken skewer platter, she had the calamari everything was tasty hot and delicious. The Greek salad was prob the best we ve had. Highly recommend this place for anytime.

The food was ok, not true Greek, but it was better than the reviews of other places.. Good portions. Greek salad had lettuce in it as a filler and not a Greek flavor.. Chicken skewers were good, rice and potatoes had no flavor. The commercial grade tzatziki dip has more zip... Greek style ribs had no flavor, plain.. Appies were good but overpriced. Service was great, and the place was clean and welcoming.

Best Greek salad Ive had in a long time. Our server was very friendly and personable. It was a very cute authentic Greek place and reminded me of how restaurants used to be when I was a kid. They even made me a Shirley temple, my favorite drink as a kid, but with vodka this time haha. I definitely recommend this place and will be back again soon.

Wow We hadnt been back since the original owner is back in charge. Best Greek salad we ever had .I had the lamb it came with not one not two not three but 4 large perfectly cooked chops two potatoes halved and baked to perfection and a base of seasoned rice. We finished with baklava and a cup of coffee, . The price is consistent with fine dining . We were there for 3 hours with a few drinks. Lots of laughter and Greek music playing in the background. Best Greek food in red deer and in most places. I m from mtl and have had a lot of Greek food, the potatoes were KILLER! The lamb was cooked perfectly and even a little pink which is amazing and rare to see (pun intended), the pita was not too thick which I don t like, and the salad was FRESH. Some places you can tell it s old and gross. EXCELLENT FOOD

My wife and I had an amazing time at this restaurant. Our server was beyond friendly and made us feel like family, dropping by to visit. So warm. The portions were huge, every bite delicious, the wine flowed very freely and I want to go back and bring people I love. I made a reservation for one time and was told to come earlier for the belly dancing. Did not disappoint! How can you not have fun with a belly dancer around? I met Nikos, the owner and we chatted for a bit. It s a family place and three generations working there. Just go.

Its the best tasting Greek food that Ive experienced yet! Good-sized portions, I was very satisfied/full. Request more olives on the Greek salad because you will only get one olive, is the only drawback. Definitely recommend!

Everytime we eat here, the service has always been excellent. We have probably been to this restaurant at least 25 times. When I order something simple, it is quite fast. When my order is more complicated, it isnt as fast, but quality takes time. :-) The servers remember our names. For his birthday, we brought our married son and his wife, plus our married daughter and her husband and our grandson. We ordered steak, plus 7 other entrees as well as multiple appetizers. Everything was fantastic. Since it was his birthday, we also particpated in the wonderful ancient Greek tradition of breaking plates! That was fun. Great time was had by all. Quality food, quality service, wonderful restaurant.

When it comes to Greece I would actually call me an expert since I already have traveled there twice! Happy and excited to eat at this restaurant I was hugely disappointed. All the food seemed frozen to me and not fresh. They offer some (frozen) traditional food like BBQ ribs, Ceasar salad and moussaka. I don t know what tarama and souvlaki is but I have never seen this food in Greece. We once passed by Macedonia and there the food was more like this. I am hoping this etablishment would be really greek to me!

Going to a restaurant with kids can be tough. Sounds Greek to Me was above and beyond helpful to make our experience the best possible. After a warm welcome and friendly staff chatting with us we felt apart of the family! Our three kids each got GIFTED a toy/ doll each. This kept them entertained the entire time as we ate their delicious meal. Loved the food, atmosphere and especially the service! Best restaurant in Red Deer!

Every time I ve gone here with my family they never disappoint. Food and service is always consistently amazing. You get very large portions for the price you pay. They do not cheap out on their supplies! Tastes amazing everytime too. Anytime I order a steak im only ever able to finish half cause you get so much food This place has been locally owned and operated and been around for years. The owner is a very kind guy who really put a lot of heart into his restaurant and it shows.

The food here is good but their disregard with ALL COVID rules is absurd! Cooks in the kitchen do not wear masks as well as the waitresses that wear a mask that s the kind that s clear but they frequently take it off and also a man that I believe to be the owner walks around not wearing a mask and he was constantly hovering over our table which made us uncomfortable. They do not check for vaccination proof as well. And I doubt their hygiene habits are good because the waitress wiped sweat off her forehead with her hands in front of us and did not even sanitize or washed her hands. Will not be back because of their disrespectful attitude.

A must experience for all RD foodies. My favorite is the lamb and pita with spicy feta (which they sell). My family loves coming here not just for the food but the relaxed atmosphere, the honest conversation and friendly compassionate table service you wont find anymore in restaurants! We were greeted by their friendly and helpful waitress. She walked us through the menu. The wine selection was spot on. Thank you. We ordered the sampler for two. This started with pita and various Greek dips. All wonderful. Then a huge tray filled with a great selection of different types of goodies. We finished with baklava for dessert. Was a wonderful evening and will return again very soon

Disappointed. Had been recommended by a coworker. I ordered Caesar salad, pita and tzatziki, spaghetti and baklava for take out. My bill was just over 67.00 dollars. Over priced, plain salad, store bought croutons, some thing I could have chopped at home with generic dressing, I was hoping for at least home made Caesar dressing, but it was not. The spaghetti was awful sadly. Seemed like old take out that was left in the fridge, poor to no flavor to boot. My husband eats anything and was surprised at how bad and old it was. And the baklava soggy and not fresh and flakey by any means. Not authentic or fresh. Quite sad as I had high hopes. Would not recommend. Will never return.

We decided to come for lunch here on Mothers Day but quickly realized as we got to the front door that it wasnt open until 3pm. They saw us at the door leaving and told us to come in and they would make us lunch. What a treat! The restaurant was just us and we were served some of the best greek food I have ever had. I was beyond impressed by everything, you really dont see that kind of service these days. Would 10/10 go again!

We drive an hour and a half from our city to eat here. We love the staff and the food is soooo good. We ordered a platter for 2 that came with toasted pita triangles, 4 types of dip, and a perfect assortment of Greek favourites including Calamari and tzatziki. All fresh and delicious. Service was a bit slow but it s a popular eatery and the food is worth the wait.

I m always blown away by the quality of food here. It s is SO tasty, fresh and fast. I haven t had the chance to experience a dine in meal yet but the ambiance looks unique and fun! The people working are always friendly and offer suggestions to make the most out of my meals. The food is to die for. Some Of My favourites are the dolmades, hummus, and skewer meals. Everything is so flavourful and delicious!

3 Star Review Food Quality - 3 It was okay but not great. It used to be the best Greek food around. Pricing - 3 Okay pricing but quality of food does not match price. Staff - 4 Friendly staff. Atmosphere/Environment - 2 Very dated, the space has so much potential but the theme is all over the place and it s rather dusty and dirty on ledges and booths have been falling apart for ages, some easy cheap fixes would really help the feel for paying clientele. Overall - 3 - would come back but wouldn t be my first choice for a night out or for Greek food.

Service was fantastic but food was not good. I ordered Kleftico (roast lamb) with rice, no lemon potatoes and Caesar salad. When I brought it home (only 7 minutes from the restaurant) the food was luke warm and the lamb was not edible. It was not cooked long enough and was tough and grisly. I was super disappointed because I dont eat out much and I love Greek food. Total bummer. However the waitress was super nice when I was picking up and even gave me extra tzatziki.

Since the original owners are back the food is amazing fresh and service very attentive. Been going here for 20 plus years but changed hands for awhile and good changed especially the lamb. Always fresh squeezed lemons not bottled, I can tell! Delish! Highly recommended.

A few weeks ago, my wife and I were in Red Deer. We stopped by the restaurant to grab some take out for dinner. The food was exceptional. The greek salad was so stuffed with large chunk veggies and a really generous amount of feta cheese. The beef skewers were so soft and juicy, the flavor was on point. Food is amazing, delicious, savoury... There is not much words to express how good the meals are. And the staff is friendly and they dont hesitate to make you smile. I highly recommend this place.

I loved the atmosphere and the owner was very friendly. I asked the waitress if she could recommend their best selling dish. She recommended chicken skewers, potatoes, rice and a Greek salad. The Greek salad was ok but didn t have any olives. Then she informed me that, that s an item I would have to ask for. The bland chicken skewers arrived dry and still sizzling. The two 1/2 potato s looked clumpy on the plate, but I gave them a chance. Nothing screaming Greek to me. The rice tasted like it was boiled with chicken stock, and again no flavour. Meanwhile the waitress was dealing with a full house including door dash and skip the dishes. She did her best and I feel bad for her But at the end of the day they were understaffed and overworked

The server was really friendly, and checked on us constantly to make sure everything was OK. The food tasted good and it was a Good portion size

Great service, delicios food, good atmosphere. The lady who served us was so kind! She was very busy but stayed on excellent, genuine service. Our kids ate all the food, even though they were not familiar with most items from the menu. We really recommend the sharable platter for 2, to get a taste from all the good stuff.

Looking for a Greek restaurant this is the spot in red deer. Hidden gem. Food was great and so was the service. I went in and took an order to go. I ordered the calamari,wrap combo(pork pita,rice, potatoes and Greek salad) everything was to taste and I have no complaints. The dine in is beautifully decorated .

The food was fantastic with great portions and amazing service (shoutout to Katerina). This is the first restaurant Ive ever stopped to eat at in Red Deer and it was definitely worth it. Will be eating here again in the future. Keep up the great work :))

The restaurant smelled amazing as soon as we walked in, and the food tasted just as good. Our server Katerina was friendly, helpful, quick, and she made the overall experience better. We just stopped through Red Deer for the first time, specifically to eat, and would definitely come back just to eat here again. Wonderful atmosphere, portions, food, and service!

Last visit was 13 years ago, might have just caught them on a bad night this time when we visited . Will give it another go but the chops were over cooked and my meal was bland. Friendly efficient knowledgeable staff , clean as well .

Yesterday we had a Birthday celebration at this lovely restaurant. We had never eaten there but had heard great reviews from other patrons. From the moment we walked in this restaurant till the time we departed we felt loke family and it was a joyous experience! Our server a feisty gal was so knowledgeable about the menu choices. She was friendly, and courteous with a wicked sense of humor! Our food arrived and it was fresh, plentiful and extremely tasty. These people know how to treat others and are proud to serve delicious meals. Make this your Home away from Home! You wont be disappointed! Judy

Delicious food and the option to break plates - a pretty cool experience.

The food was fine, not great. The waitress went on a rant about how we were a half-step from turning to total communism because of covid. She refused to wear a mask because they suffocate her. I will not go back during the pandemic.
