First time visiting Fat Burger. The food was great and tasty. Best Veggie Burger I ever tasted from Western Food Restaurant. The place was also clean. They’re 3 staff working and 2 working in the kitchen first off the food was delicious and quality was perfect. 1 was working in the front Allie and she was awesome and great person and her customer service was absolutely great. Honest small town girl! I’ll be visiting more when I’m in town.
Made a pretty regular order for us and our two kids. 4 simple meals, nothing fancy. Was $80 for our order. Was hoping it would be a beautiful experience for that price. Honestly… we should have just gone to A and dub. I mean, it wasn’t terrible. But no reason the price has to be so high for what it is. Wont be going back (just because of the price)
My Hawaiian burger was very juicy - I did not expect this level of quality from a franchise. Good food stop between Calgary and Edmonton.
Not sure why I paid 40 dollars worth of wings just to get maybe two wings with a bit of sauce on them. Literally just like cut up chicken tenders with a cheap texture and taste , and even if they were good quality why would they charge that much for a basic basket of wings
Went in tonight for supper after our movie was done at the theatre across the street. It was 8:30 pm and their sign says that they close at 9pm. Was told by the lady at the counter that we needed to do take out because they are closing (which is understandable). However, instead of having 2 meals plus 2 milkshakes, we ended up just having 16 wings due to the very limited amount of food they had available. When I said to my husband, “it’s weird that they don’t offer much since they close in 1/2 an hour”, the lady at the counter said “sorry we are just closing.” Every fast food joint I have worked at has never said it. Amazing how they were so willing to turn away paying customers.
We happened to be in Red Deer around noon Sept 23rd and stopped at Fatburger on gasoline alley. Our meal Blackend Cajun Chicken sandwich, onion rings, Mushroom burger, small raspberry shake, and a banana shake. Raspberry was a small size great if you want something less filling and also kid sized. Overall the meal was good burgers and onionrings were hot. The shakes were thick and tasted great. Staff was friendly and meal was quick to arrive. Would we eat here again yes we would.
Fat Burger on Gasoline Alley Red Deer has consistently awesome food! Their burgers and fries are great, but my absolute favorite item on the menu is the oreo milkshake! It is to die for! Best milkshake I've had from anywhere ever! They have lots of seating available for dine-in patrons. And they have a patio as well! Great spot to try if you live in Red Deer. If you are just passing by Red Deer, Fat Burger is just off hiway 2 on Gasoline Alley.
What can I say? Simple one delicious, very pleased meal. Both our burgers were amazing. We want for supper on Saturday. Not really good choice as it was very busy. But the staff worked fast. We had to wait , but only like 10 minutes. Definitely coming again.

Mini donuts where awful!! They used to be so soft and crispy. Now rock hard and stale.
I came before they were about to close and I asked if it was okay to still place an order because I was starving (12hr day) and they were more than happy to serve me and were super nice about it all! Happy to come back to this location always.
Great little burger joint.. Im not a fan of the prices, 5 of us without full meals came to 78 plus tip and GST..but the food was good.
My daughter loved the deep fried pickles. I loved the curly fries. The wings and burgers are great.

This Is My Second Home. I love this place so much. The staff is amazing the owners and the food. I adore coming here and enjoying the food. I rarely go to any other fatburger (even when travelling) because I feel bad for not being loyal to my main GIRL. Love You FatBurg Food

The burgers were amazing, and the staff let us stay while they cleaned so we didnt have to rush out. We did not like the nacho fries, the chili just ruined the whole thing... But the amazing burgers made up for it.

This place is great. The portions are unbelievably large. The staff is always very respectful and make sure one is enjoying their food. An update to my review fro. A year ago. Although the service is great I have to say that the size of the orders have really decreased in size substantially but the price has gone up.

Our food (BC burger & chicken burger) was deeelicious! A better burger than the equivalent 5 Guys burger and approaching my number 1 burger the Royal Red Robin Burger. Chicken burger now my wifes favourite chicken burger! Fries very good but not a big fan of the onion rings. Otherwise would have been a 5 star!

Usually enjoy fatburger but this visit they proceeded to start cleaning the ceiling vents right above where they were cooking the burgers ended up watching stuff falling down as they cleaned while they were still cooking burgers. Highly disappointed

Ordered chicken fingers and fries and took the three employees over 30 minutes to get my order. It was not busy at all. I sat in front of cashier just to make sure my oder wasnt forgotten. And wouldnt ya know it. They forgot and when I asked about it. She said only ine more minute. Others had come and gone while dining In store by the time my order was received. If I was the owner all three employees on day shift October 30th 2023 would be looking for new jobs by end of day. Was actually pathetic. Wont be back to this location.
Honestly I never write reviews, but I feel I had to on this one. Spent almost $100 on Two burger combos and two things of wings (small portion) and let me tell you I was very unimpressed and wish I would have chosen to go to Carls Junior next door. The Burgers were dry, no sauce, & frankly flavorless, we had the BBQ and Mushroom Swiss. The Swiss burger was just a pile of mushrooms mayo mustard and the patty, with the wrong kind of cheese melted on it...more bread & mushroom than anything. The BBQ burger was bland as well, echoing the other burger. THE FRIES HAD NO SEASONING AND TASTED LIKE MASHED POTATOES, but like bad mash potatoes, not the good stuff you get during holidays. Now here is where I got really disappointed Buffalo Wings world famous.....the wings we got looked like they were boiled, were undercooked and frankly just sucked. The boneless bite Mild Should change its name to Pablum, because I am pretty sure baby oatmeal has more flavor. a two star spice rating is an absolute atrocity against flavor. I have never had bad boneless bites...some how these were bad boneless bites, I literally paid $18 for chicken nuggets with no flavor. Ive never been so disappointed in $100 worth food in my life. It was like expecting to go to Disney Land and ending up at the Westerner days. The Good: Now with all that being said I do have to say there was one part of the trip that was good, the staff, the cook generally looked like he cared about the food, inspecting each patty as it came off the grill, the cashier was super friendly and nice and had great communication skills. I wish I paid $100 for customer service, I would be walking away from this happy but no, spent $100 for food I took 3 bites of. There is a sign hanging in the restaurant stating Perfection Takes Time maybe if I waited a few more hours this food would have been more than just edible.
Stopped in tonight just before closing, the staff took great care in preparing my Bacon Mushroom Burger, Fries and Coke. Delicious. Very polite people! I dont like stopping right before closing, but it was a long day.

Always go to spot after donut mill. The portion sizes are very good for the price you pay nowadays. I didnt tip for dine in and felt bad after the fact because I didnt know they brought the food over directly to your table. Highly recommend if youre looking for a spot to stop for some road trip lunch/dinner.

Fatburger is by far the best fast food franchise in town. I love me a quarter pound baby fat with cheese, in a lettuce wrap if Im feeling like I need to count the calories. Nothing beats the flavor of their meat! Get it with a big old bag of French fries and a signature milkshake!
Great food, fast service, easy access - on gasoline alley. Its not very visible from street. I didnt know it was there - Ill stop there again on my next trip. Not the cheapest burger but tasty.

Fatburger is consistently amazing. The taste, quality and freshness are second to none.
Fatburger was chosen because Fatcustomer was not politically correct. One bite of your burger here and youll wonder why you wasted so many stops at the typical fast food chain. The beef tastes real. The portion is far more than one human reasonably needs, but you cant stop shoving it into your face hole. It takes a few minutes to wait for them to make your whole damn meal from scratch, but its worth it. Not much different time waiting at the other burger places. The difference is quality. Fresh beef and fresh made to order. No heat lamp garbage and frozen beef patties.

Best wings ever
Just stopped here passing through back home to Lethbridge. Received our takeout bag and we were in a hurry, so didn t check the bag. Got on the highway and realized half our order wasn t in the bag. Both the burger and fries were missing. Really disappointed as we waited 20min for our order, just to not be able to eat. The food we did receive was not very good either.
Perhaps one of the best fast food places around red deer. The burgers are made fresh and taste great! Fries are also very good. Service is quick n polite. Eat in or take out. This place easily beats five guys and is slightly better than burger parlor.

Burger was huge and Delicious, came with a large portion of fries. $18.00 for a burger fries and drink is a bit steep for a fast food joint. During covid the table was dirty so I went to my car to get wipes to clean the greasy finger prints off of the table. Better value elsewhere.

Mae was amazing at the time of helping us... this is our first time in Fatburger and it is delicious and I was surprised with the size... holy Guacamole They are huge! I haven t had every burger in Red Deer, but they are the best tasting I ve had so far.
Had the pineapple bacon cheese burger it was so worth the wait.

The burger was delicious. The fries are so so. The cost for a family was horrendous. All in all it was a good place to eat. Just cannot get behind the price though for a burger meal. If you are single though, then go nuts. :)

Husband liked his burger, kids didnt like their cheeseburgers. I had the BLTC salad that was excellent and worth a trip back for. Fries werent the best, seemed like we had the small bits from the bottom of the bag. First timers so not sure if they are usually very short. Expensive, $78 for our family of 5 (3 kids under 10) and we didnt even get drinks because we were taking it to eat at home. We can dine-in with table service and an alcoholic drink for that elsewhere. Too pricey for a fast food burger joint. Like another reviewer said itd be fine if you are single but too much to take the family.
Had the hot spicy chicken burger with reg fried and a soft drink. Way to much, couldnt finish it all. Sorry, no photo...next time. Yes...a redo is in order.
It is -7 outside and the thermostat is set to 16.5°c!!! The air is cold when you walk in, the tables are freezing! Have to leave your jacket on to eat or its to cold! Honestly need gloves too....fingers were freezing by time I was done eating! The whole store front has windows across the wall and every available table is by the windows!! Pay attention and turn up you heat!!
Found parking immediately and right in front of the door. Restaurant was neat and clean and we were greeted with a warm smile. The order process went smoothly and the price was reasonable for the quality food we received. Order had a few mods and the young lady taking the order was efficient and accurate. The best part was the delicious food we enjoyed! Definitely will visit again next time Im in the area!

Real average. Burger, fries, and a milk for just under $20 should have better quality. Everything about the burger was average - dry is the best way to describe it. Half the fries appeared to be just the remnants of a fry bowl (little pieces). Shouldve had mcds.
