Ordered a korma, waited 30 minutes, and was thoroughly dissapointed. For a korma, it completely lacked flavor, which shouldnt be the case with a dish thats supposed to be super flavorful. The length took to prepare the food was dissapointing but the food itself was just.... disheartening.

I had an amazing dining experience at Pinch of Spice in Red Deer with my family. The food was excellent, and the ambiance was perfect for a cozy family dinner. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Arvind, who truly impressed us with his culinary skills. The Paneer Tikka Masala and Shahi Paneer were simply the best I ve ever tasted rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. The customer service was outstanding as well. Gurpreet, the counter attendant, was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. His warm hospitality added to the overall delightful experience. Extremely disappointed with the service and food. I ordered chilly panner medium spicy. Expected it to be medium spicy but it was very sweet. Then what we were offered was to put the food back to serving bowl and they can make it spicy. It was my first time trying out food, I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone ever.

We had an amazing dinner tonight ! Picked up a variety of dishes including chicken samosa, fish Tikka, butter chicken, Naan variety, lamb vindaloo,etc. Every dish was flavourful and we would order again in a heartbeat! Staff was super friendly and order ready on time!

We went on Tuesday evening. Restaurant was not so busy. Their food was delicious. Friendly service provided by the girl working on Tuesday evening shift. We ordered Chilli chicken, manchurian, Garlic naan and Onion Kulcha. Everything was yummy and fresh. Washrooms were neat and clean too.

Couldnt even order food during business hours. Tried to order on skipthedishes and got credits issued back because they didnt respond, then tried to call and no one answered. Finally, they called me back after I already ordered from somewhere else, I told them that I already ordered somewhere else, and then someone else from the restaurant called back a second time to see if I want to reorder. I dont know if the food is any good, but the service definitely makes me not want to go there.

This is our favorite Indian restaurant in Red Deer. The food is always hot and delicious. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and delivery is always prompt and we have never had an issue with our food. Great place! We like our food spicy and they make it so well! I decided to give this place a try, I was alittle disappointed when I spend 20 bucks on butter chicken and it didnt include any rice. I also asked for mild spice and it was very spicy!! I eat spicy food sometimes but wasnt wanting it atm.

I find when you order takeout from these guys, its not as amazing as when you dine in but still very good. Just very greasy with the takeout as compared to dine in. The restaurant is too small for them, they are busy alot. BUT this place is a gem!! The staff is incredibly sweet and very efficient. The food has such amazing flavors with each bite theres a new flavor. We love coming here.

I ordered food from this restaurant as i tried this restaurant before as dine in the food was awesome. But they did not do the same justification when i ordered food. I ordered Malai kofta, sofa chaap ,garlic naan, papdi chaat Kofta were so hard, oil was floating over the gravy. My throat feel weird after eating I am writing this review so that they can provide the same taste as dine in if somebody is doing take out

Authentic Indian food..

This was my first time visiting (Im relatively new to Indian cuisine in general) and I went in blind not really knowing what to order. I decided on the coconut chicken with basmati rice, samosa chat and garlic naan bread. I was very pleased with all of these, and intend to try a spicier dish on my next visit. The restaurant itself is a calm little place with comfortable booths and friendly service. I really enjoyed it here and will absolutely return again. Vegetarian options: My wife is vegetarian and there are numerous vegetarian-friendly options to choose from.

We discovered this restaurant after moving into a rental property walking distance away and have made this our weekly date night spot. The food is absolutely incredible. We relocated from the US and I haven t eaten Indian food this good in years (possibly ever). The butter chicken, paneer tikka and every appetizer we ve ordered has been fresh, delicious and generously portioned. And the garlic naan is A+++. Service is friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed the food. Its authentic Indian food with great service. The restaurant itself was completely empty, which is really surprising considering how great everything was.

Second time there and both times they served exceptionally good food for a very reasonable price!

Foods fine, I still prefer tandoor n flame. If you want something new with a different taste this place is nice. My girlfriend got a bit of an upset stomach from the food, I didnt really notice anything on my side but something to keep in mind. Ive had better, but Ive definitely had worse.

When we called the store for the messed up order, lady said theyll replace all three order, noodles, and 2 curries. And yes staff was rude and came outside to tell us rudely started arguing. Then said they can replace it but after seeing the review the said now review is already up and we cannot replace because you post a review on google. I dont think that is professional. This a small, CLEAN, and very friendly restaurant. The staff are very helpful. I had no idea what I was ordering. Thankfully they helped. The menu was completely unfamiliar to me but EVERYTHING was delicious. We all ordered different things so we could try a big variety. Everything was amazing. OH, AND FRESH MADE! Some items on the menu they had simply run out of so we picked other things. There is no alcohol served. Menu says coffee, but they didnt have any? Possibly just done for the day? But the Massala Tea is amazing. I would have that again instead of coffee next time. Nothing was too spicy. Just the right amount of heat. We all loved it (3 of us) and will definitely go back, often. The prices were good. We definitely ordered too much food, so the total $$ will be less next time. Vegetarian options: Almost every menu item starts out as a vegetable dish and them you can add different meat options, chicken, beef, lamb or goat.

We went on last Wednesday ( 4/12/23) , and that this restaurant is open till 9:30pm. So, we went around 8:05pm but the person who was working didn t allow us to dining there and when we were ordering some things for take out, the didn t seem like he wants to take order, cook it and he just said that they don t have most of thing we want. We tried to order chicken chilli but he didn t had then ask for fish chilli they didn t had and we change it to chicken noodles for that also he said they do not have it. It feel like he did not even want to serve us, so we left.

Great choice for tasty Indian in Red Deer. Vegetable Pakora are superb and the shakes (mango and vanilla) were enjoyed a lot by the kids . Standard selection of Indian dishes (korma, vindaloo, tikka masala etc.). There is an opportunity for improvement in the quality of the lamb (very fatty). Best naan bread in Red Deer! They advertise boneless in the lamb, beef or goat specialties, but it is quite the opposite. You get lots of bones. They should change the wording on their menu.

This was some of the best Indian food I ve ever had. Naan delicious and cooked nicely. Dal tasty and luxurious. Samosas are huge and yummy. Everything we ordered was awesome a nice heat and rich flavour. Ordered online which was easy showed up payed and took it home nicely packaged only one dish leaked a tiny bit which is better than most other places. Very full and happy will be ordering again!

I have been at Reddeer and Visited this restaurant for some Indian taste and met a wonderful Man Arvind who served us the best food and amazing hospitality. Best Indian food in the town.

While I m no authority on Indian food, I know what I like and Pinch of Spice serves delicious, nicely prepared, fresh food. On our first visit, we shared Cocoanut Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo and Shrimp Biryani, with Garlic Naan. Each dish was delicious, with distinct flavouring and just the right heat, medium, for me. The restaurant is nicely appointed and comfortable and the food was delivered to the table after just the right wait to know it was thoughtfully prepared. Pinch of Spice is handily located just off Taylor Drive, easy to get to. Also, the leftovers I took home and reheated for supper were an additional treat for the day. Pinch of Spice has an impressive menu, which we ll munch our way through over the months ahead.

Ordered delivery, waited 2 hours, when I called, they said the driver didnt show up, no call or nothing, if I could give zero stars I would, horrible customer service

Wonderful food and to be more specific deep rich flavours. You should always get the naan and a simple yet necessary basmati rice . The coconut cream sauce was fresh and the lays of flavours is what truly shows you the customer that this is made with time and experience not from a can . the manchirian chicken sauce was equally as good almost a rich chicken gravy with cilantro to balance the richness . To top it off the price was very fair for me and my wife to eat we paid less than 60 bucks and lots of leftovers.

I was looking for Dhosa and checked online and found they offer Dhosa and went there with great excitement. But the owner mentioned that they do not have it. I asked for chilli chicken, aalo tikki and aloo paratha. She mentioned they don t have to too. I would recommend to call them before visiting as you will be disappointed. I would not be able to comment on the quality of food provided as I didn t eat anything but the service is very poor.

Found this restaurant by accident today while on a trip to Red Deer. We had the butter chicken, and the mango curry chicken with coconut rice. It was delicious and filling. Great taste, great portions, great price

My fiancé & I were looking for a new Place to eat. I can t handle spicy at all and the butterchicken was EXACTLY what I was looking for. My fiancé was on the hunt for a dish that was spicy and he finally found a place that he absolutely loves. We came back for the second time a day later. 100% gonna be recommending this place. The food was amazing & very sweet and friendly staff do not listen to any bad reviews because this place is amazing!

I have had delivery and takeout from Pinch of Spice quite a few times now, sampling something different every time I order - and they have some of the best Indian food I ve ever tasted. A great little family run joint, friendly people and I m very glad they re here in our community!! If you like Indian food like butter chicken or chicken tikka masala, this place will blow your mind!!

Absolutely delicious food, had chicken samosas which were to die for! And a great lamb and rice combo seriously one of the best spots in red deer!

We were looking for South Indian food and googled the closest restaurant which brought us to this place. They didn t had South Indian food even though the website showed it. It was a bit of a disappointment but the lady there explained that management had recently changed hands and they were in middle of changing menu. Reluctantly we ordered the food and not sure about how it would be. The food turned out to be absolutely awesome, in fact better than most restaurants in Edmonton. I would strongly recommend this hidden gem.

Great goat biryani!

Ordered take-out, picked it up, gave us an incorrect dish. It took over an hour and a half for them to correct it, three phone calls to confirm address. After all that they deleted my original 2-star review. As originally stated, wont be back. Take all reviews with a grain of salt, or better yet, a pinch of spice.

The best butter paneer and butter milk that we ve had in a very long time. Wish we lived around here!

Food was amazing! Mind blowing palak paneer, dal makhani, dal tadka!

Dine in area seemed pretty old, dark, and dismal. Servers not all that attentive. Food was decent.

The taste of food was really good but the quantity was very less. We ordered goat curry, chicken curry, palak paneer and dal makhani. There were very few pieces. 1/2 the amount other places will give. One dish was not enough for one person. We basically ate roti and naan with just gravy. 4 stars for taste and 2 for quantity

Paneer butter masala with garlic naan is so yummy combination.

Great food and excellent service. I will be visiting this little gem often. Parking: Plenty of free parking nearby.

Great food, had paneer w fenugreek, coconut chicken, and asked them to give me the spiciest goat dish. My only criticism is that they may have heard my western/white accent and toned down they spice when I asked for very spicy, lol. Dont be afraid to go spicier next time!

Best food I hv ever had.

Ordered food at 8.45 pm .. they did not confirm ordered because they did not want to make it so close to closing .. very rude and unprofessional. Will never order from this restaurant

Great food. Good service. Very reasonably priced. We had samosas, buttered chicken, rice and naan bread. I would highly recommend try this place out.

Visiting from out of province. Found this place through google maps. The high reviews are justified. Had their butter chicken lunch special. Best meal I ve had since I arrived 4 days ago. Very tasty and thoroughly enjoyed! Really good price point too.

Had the veg korma and the chaap. Both were delicious! Have eaten Indian food across canada and this is in the top 5! Will be back next time I m in red deer Vegetarian options: Really happy with the veg selection

Very Good Indian food, probably the best in Red Deer. The price is also very fair.

Absolutely delicious, I had the goat Masala with garlic Naan, mango Lassi. Will definitely be back. Ive traveled all over Canada as a truck driver and it was one of the best goat masalas Ive had in canada or the United States. Thank you guys for the great meal for a fair price.
