Garden Terrace Lounge in Red Deer

Now a regular spot for lunch with Jan. Great food. Lucky to have met chef JP and our sincere thank you for the special treat. We'll be back!

We were very intrigued on the idea of getting the Charcuterie Board so we went to get it at the restaurant. But when ordered it, it was nothing like the picture (I get it, it’s advertising). First of all, it didn’t come on a wooden board, it came in a cardboard box that opens up and it wasn’t fresh, it’s packed and probably in the fridge for a few days because the meat started to discolour. There’s no fruit or macaroons as on the picture. The Jam is wrapped up in Saran Wrap!

I ordered the Sterling Silversteak Sandwich with the Kale Caesar Salad through room service. It was very good. I like a bit more dressing but it was tasty as it was. The server that brought my meal was friendly and cheerful. It was a good experience.

Had the Alberta burger with Kale Caesar for lunch and the Braised beef ribs with truffle fries, both were very good.

Great food and quality ingredients used. The quantity was generous too. The sweet potato fries were yum. Derisreé, who delivered the food to our room was cheerful and polite which marks for fine service.

Stopped here for lunch ordered the “fresh house made bruschetta” for a heavy $16 quick jab to the bank account. I was disappointed with it because it didn’t taste fresh or housemade at all and was served on cold cheese pita bread or something never seen that before with bruschetta. Also had the steak it was actually very tender but lacking seasoning and a crust on the steak. Service was iight ✌️

I enjoy coming here when I stay at the Cambridge hotel for business. It's a very clean, relaxed and upscale looking place. Perfect place to kick back and enjoy a beer and food. I had a burger in this photo with fries. It was delicious. Cooked perfectly and super juicy. Drinks are also reasonably priced.

Wow! One of the best burgers I've ever had! With real cheddar, spicy sauce, crisp bacon, and a super juicy patty, this burger is one of the tastiest in town. The fries sparkled with visible salt crystals. Perfect seasoning all around. The ladies in the VLT lounge where so helpful, and kind.
