Excellent poutine. My boyfriend had the Buffalo Chicken Ranch and I had the BBQ pulled pork. Soooo amazing. Crispy fries and soo delicious with big helping for leftovers. Reese s milkshake was the best milkshake we ever had. Would a hundred percent recommend eating here!!

This place has the best food I ve had in a long time! The poutines are so good! Crispy fries that are topped with a multitude of choices to suit your cravings and are served with more than the average person can finish in one sitting. The donairs are massive and have, melt in your mouth deliciousness. (Again, good luck finishing a large, in one sitting). Highly recommend this gem, nestled in Gaetz main strip. If I could give this place more stars, I would. If you ve been sitting on the fence about this place, sit no more and give this place a go!

Starting off with the atmosphere, this place is great! It feels like a hole in the wall as its sat beside the vape shop, but the layout of the restaurant is very casual and clean. The decor is great, always spotless and has lots of places to sit (indoors). Food is great, the prices are a bit expensive but the portions make up for it. I have never finished a medium garlic lovers for the life of me and stretches to becoming my lunch the next day. Their poutines are crispy and delicious, albeit a bit salty, so opt for easy gravy for those who are mindful of their salt intake. I wish that the loaded taco poutine could be brought back, but the changing menus always gives me reason to come back and try them. Staff is amazing, good service, sometimes theres the girl who sings, which is awesome.

Owners brother came in while me and my family were eating. Proceeded to verbally abuse and harass the staff and made it extremely unpleasant for my family to eat at. Horrible atmosphere.

We had a wonderful experince with Kyla, Joyce, and Ayesha. They all treated me with extreme kindness and gave wonderful reccomendations. The place was clean and the food was fantastic! I would highly reccomend to any foodie out there !!!!

The last few times I ve gone to get food from here they re always closed early. The hours on the door are the same as the hours on google. It s quite annoying when you drive all the way there just to find out that they are closed when it says they re open.

Dont bother. You will not find quality food here. Pountines swim in soupy Gravy with little or NO cheese curds. Fries go soggy fast. They also cant figure out a consistent Mac n cheese recipe to save thier lives. Its a shame. This place was amazing when they opened. Ordered here many many times and each time the food got worse and worse.

Checked the hours of operation for Sunday - open until 6:30pm. Drove 20 mins and arrived at 6:05 to meet the staff outside locking up? When I asked if they were open until 6:30 - the response was no because it s Father s Day .too bad for this Dad .I just wanted a great donair for dinner. #disappointed Service

The Donair was a sad setup, was a piece of tomato and maybe 3 pieces of lettuce and the poutine was soggy and was warm at best. Got the garlic chips and I wouldnt call them chips, maybe partially cooked pita. Needless to say most of it went in the

I have always ordered the Buddha bowl from here. Got it today, it is half the size, no veggies hardly, mostly rice, no cilantro which it is supposed to have, and I paid extra for the chicken for $15, way too much for this now. I was in a rush and it was the fastest I have ever gotten food from there, so that was a plus, but I wont be coming back.

Update your website to actually match what you offer, and perhaps hire people that dont abhor human interaction

First time here, and I will definitely be back to try more items on this menu. I had their Donair and it was delicious. Tried some classic poutine as well and that too was delicious. Definitely be back! We need one of these in Sylvan Lake.

I have been here twice and it has been so good both times!

In case the restaurant reads this your hours on skip the dishes are all messed up it says you open it like 6:00 a.m. and sometimes it says youre open from like midnight to 3:00. That aside this place serves really good food its better fresh than over skip and compared to some other fast food its a little bit more money but its a nice treat every once in a while.

Edit, my wife always asks for no onion on her Donair, I always ask before leaving and get told that no onion is on there, multiple times we drive back to Blackfalds and there is onion on the donair. I ve left two voicemails the last two times with no response. Tonight it happened a 3rd time with my asking before leaving. Well sorry your once 5 star review is now a one star. This place has the best donair in red deer hands down. Always hot and lots of meat, a bit pricey but never care as it s always been delicious. I highly recommend the Philly wrap!

What a great place to go to! Best poutine Ive had, the local craft beer they have is also really good! The customer service is nothing short of amazing, the young lady that works there will make you feel at home! Highly recommended.

Bedford has been really great to us, I really do enjoy the pulled pork poutine, along with some funnel cake fries. The owner has introduced me to their Peanut Butter milkshake which tastes better than a Skor Blizzard from DQ, I cant wait to try the other flavors now. Always looking forward to trying out new menu items! Another must have is the Cheese Steak sandwich!

Ive only ordered through skip, and when I add extra things, somehow they forget to add those things. So I pay to add bacon, but when it arrives, there is none. I feel scammed.

The food tasted amazing but halfway through our meal both my friend and I had to stop because of how sick we were feeling. We both ended up staying up all night with really upset stomachs. We had the pitas, fries, and Mac and cheese. Not sure which caused the problem.

Everyone kept telling me I needed to try this place! I got the bacon mac & cheese poutine & it s seriously one of the best things i ve eaten, absolutely nailed it. I will be definitely ordering again soon to try the other poutine options aswell!

The food was great, but it did make both my friend & I have upset stomachs, over 24hrs later & we both are still not feeling well. Very sad especially because the food was great & the staff was very friendly. There was one girl working by herself when we went in she was very kind & could see she was rushing doing it all herself. As we waited 4 other staff members came in & only one started to help her the rest went into the back. Good execution but very sad to say we felt not great afterwards.

Ordered delivery from bedfords last week. Wrong order came and was over charged. Called and said they would give me a credit next time. Figured Id give them a chance again this today, reordered the same thing. Called back an hour and 45 mins later and was told they wont deliver it again I have to head and pick it up. Very sad since I paid for delivery last time. Paid just shy of 40 bucks for 1 large poutine. Would have been nice to know that. Now Im at work and missed my lunch. Wont be ordering from there again. Too bad because they do make good food.

I have ordered from here many time like I did today it was cold not toasted cheese not melted and so much sauce it was the worst donar I have every had. When I called they try to blame it on the skip the dishes driver and it was not they were just to lazy to prepare it properly they just lost a very good customer never again

I love this place. So far this is the only place that I will get donairs from everywhere else just isnt that good. Idk if they still have it but the cheese burger Poutine is amazing. If I had the money Id probably eat here almost everyday.

Okay, yes, this place very much deserves the title of best poutine in Red Deer. The Maple Bacon and Mushroom Bacon Melt poutines are delicious! And if you go at non peak times, theyre very quick, they had my order in around six minutes. We will be back!

I ordered a medium east coast style Bedford Donair. It was HUGE. It was as good as King of Donair in Halifax where I grew up. I also got a garlic cheddar fries. The fries were very garlicky and tasty but a bit too saucy. I didn t have room to finish them.

As good as King of Donair in Halifax! Fantastic little restaurant. Clean and friendly. Only passing through Red Deer but would have liked to try more of the menu.

Dont go out of your way to eat here wife and I stopped in had 2 poutines and 2 drinks over 30$ gravy had so much pepper my wife couldn t finish hers because of it, AND NO VINEGAR!!

I called and asked if they still had vegan poutines, and the person answering checked with a coworker, so I figured I was safe. I ended up paying $17 for a big poutine made with mozzarella and gravy that has dairy in it, with giant chunks of veggies on it. I called to ask if the cheese was vegan, and they said they only had regular mozzarella. I asked to pick up another order of fries to replace my meal (I didnt trust anything else there) and the employees didnt seem to want to help me because they did not take my info, or offer a meal next time or gift card or anything. I was also on a work break, so I went to get my fries and they asked if I wanted to talk to their boss, but the boss were busy on the phone. I was in a rush and just wanted to get away from there. You would think anyone working with food would at least know what vegan means by now, but we are in central Alberta so Im not surprised. The fries were gross, and the whole thing a waste of my time and money. I wish they would have seemed like they had any concern with the fact that I spent so much money on food that I couldnt eat. I highly do NOT recommend.

Ordered 2 classic poutines today, you would think there would be cheese curds in a classic poutine - nope no cheese - literally what makes poutine a poutine. Instead was left with disappointing fries and gravy. This is the 3rd time we have ordered from here and it has been sub par. Why do we keep going back? Because their poutine use to be extraordinary, its gone down hill in the last 6 months and we wont be making the mistake of going back again. Good service, okay food that doesnt cost a ton, tight location. Was hoping for more after reading positive reviews, came away a little disappointed. Donair was meh, chicken fingers were fine.

Finally had a chance to pop in and try the food here. I ordered the perogy poutine, and it might ve been the best poutine I ve ever had. Every bite was delicious, and somehow the fries stayed completely crisp without getting too soggy. The ladies working the counter were also very friendly, great service. I ll definitely be back here whenever I can.

Delicious poutines and donairs!

Donair was so bad I drove back to the store to return it. Sauce was average, neither meat or pita was put on the grill for more than a few seconds. Poutine was average. Wish I could give this place zero stars

I m from out of town but visit often and tell everyone if they are stopping in Red Deer, they have to stop here for the best donairs. I ve never been disappointed and stopped in 5-8 times, but today was not good. I ordered the garlic cheese fries and the texture of the garlic sauce was off putting, wasn t creamy as usual but almost seemed a little old and thick. For someone else I ordered a regular poutine and she said the gravy was not the usual gravy she got there and it wasn t as good either. And lastly and most disappointing, I did not receive a small Philly cheesesteak pita but some large thing with a bunch of lettuce and tomatoes and it wasn t even edible, was all wrap and not filling but this horrible, past it s day, lettuce. I have never gone wrong with the Philly cheesesteak and was so disappointed and over 20 mins away when discovered I had the wrong pita/donair. I did call to ask how we could rectify this issue, but never received a response. Extremely disappointing, a $30 meal that was almost completely inedible, the pita was for sure.

Have had both donairs and poutines from here and both are fantastic! Happy whenever I get the chance to get food from here

Unfortunately our last visit here was not very good. The music was so loud that you had to yell at the server, and they had to yell back to communicate! Not a very pleasant experience.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Red Deer!! Atmosphere is super chill and welcoming. Staff is also really really friendly. My partner and I visited Bedford Food and were amazed with the quality of food and also the service. Love to order Buddah bowl and Donair bowl. The French toast poutine is a wow too!! I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment!

This place always had amazing food. Used to stop there for lunch quite a bit. Lately the donairs have fallen below par. Last 3 times the meat has been over cooked and they mixed the sauce up on my last order.

Great value and portions, the flavors are there and lots of meat in the wraps, my favorite is the Phily wrap.

Got a regular poutine and a donaire thinking the poutine wouldnt be enough to fill me. Was I wrong I ate the amazingly delicious poutine and then saved the donaire for later. Few hours later warmed up the donaire and wow delicious as well very impressed.

Stopped in with the family for lunch on a weekend. Place was clean and staff were super friendly. Ordered the perogie poutine which had a lot of sweet sauce on it which I didnt expect. If youre an easy coaster youll love it. It was still one of the best poutines Ive had in long time. I will for sure be coming back here. Great place!

Incredible east coast donair and quebec classic poutine. I will definitely be going back. The portions are quite large and well worth the money. Fast service, food served hot and fast, and a very lovely spot to sit in and eat. Fantastic!

Amazing very tasty food

I have been ordering from this restaurant since it first opened and I have never been so disappointed in the service and quality of their product. I brag to out of towers to try it. Tonight I ordered thru skip the dishes and my order which was bagged by your employees, was completely incorrect. I then went to order 2 orders of funne cake fries and a milkshake just to make the order worth it to get the funnel cake fries (my favorite) and after waiting an hour for my 3 items, the milk shake is watery and the fries are over cooked. Very very disappointed.

Thought it was a pub-like local restaurant. Pretty good food and service. Got a large bowl with extra meat and it was smaller than expected, especially for the price, but it was fresh and still good. Poutine choices looked interesting. Maybe donairs & gyros might be better options than bowls.

Its really hard to pass by and not stop in for a quite bite. They have also been very supportive with a friend of mines business ventures so that is good to see. Keep up the great work.

First time attempting to try this place and unfortunately it didn t go well. Waited in line for 15 minutes, 10 of which I was the next person in line to order . Neither of the 2 employees working said a word to me or anyone else waiting in line. It was somewhat busy, it looked like 3 other people were waiting for their orders. Severely understaffed for 12:15pm on a weekday I got fed up with waiting and drove to quality donair down the street and had my food in hand in 12 minutes. Was expecting better from a somewhat well revered local business. I really don t like to give bad reviews but I was honestly astonished by how poor the service was. As a local business owner myself I would be irate if one of my customers had a similar experience to mine.

Had Philly cheese pita wrap. Food was on point. Priced great. If you want bigger sandwich for the same price then get any of the donair.

I m giving the stars solely for the menu options that looked great. Unfortunately, there wasn t any messaging when I ordered and paid, that my small order would take over 15 minutes (one salad bowl and one milkshake) to even start it. As we were not able to wait any longer, we left without the food. And yes, I emailed the restaurant directly with no reply. Promising menu. Communicating at time of ordering and payment what the realistic wait time would be, would have been greatly appreciated.

Our recent visit was just ok. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. and were still waiting for our food at 6:00. The music was so loud that we could not visit at our table. Overall, the food was good however my salad was in such a small bowl that I couldnt mix it or at the dressing without making a huge mess. My daughter had the Maple Bacon poutine which was excellent!

If I were an alien species, and I crash landed on earth hungry afraid and no one to help me, I would hope that my spaceship ended up by Bedford food. The last time i am buying from this place. 14.50 $ for donair which is called large but its small compare to other places like this. Mysterious mix donair meat like any other place. Go to middle eastern shawarma place and you will get a really tasty and big size product from real meat!!

Really good selection of Poutine s, never had a bad one. But I would stay away from the Donaire s as they weren t that good. I would have to say if you dine in that they are very stressed and it seemed like chaos. Can be very loud, the orders sometimes get screwed up. Line up of skip drivers out the door. I would recommend getting your Poutine to go. Descent cleans friendly staff.

Couldn t even find out if the food was good or not, went in and the music was so loud no one even heard me come in. Wasn t even acknowledged until I walked out and I had 2 people walk by me and ignore me. Would of loved to try the food but the HORRIBLE customer service was a massive turn off. I don t recommend this place unless you re ordering online. ( there was only 1 other customer in the entire restaurant )

Donairs in Alberta dont taste the same as out east I was told that all my life so when I went to Halifax I had to try one and boy were they right youve never had a donair unless youve had one out east so I had to try Bedford and I wasnt disappointed they really know how to make a donair and the poutine so many to try. The people were super friendly and helpful what a great lunch with my family will go there again and again.

Really enjoyed our meal from Bedford yesterday! Tried out the Philly wrap, the donar meat was excellent, the sauce a perfect fit for the meat, and the truffle and parm chips were unreal. The serve a wide selection of the local brewery, including a couple labels I hadnt seen before.

Choosing what to eat is often the most difficult part. Im a bowl guy, love the healthy style of the food and quality ingredients. Must try.

Let me start by saying that I love this place!! The food was delicious! My favorite go-to spot for lunch. I m never waiting long for my food. The staff and owner are great and so welcoming as soon as you walk in. Everyone is wearing their masks. The place is so clean and I just love the atmosphere inside. Thank you Bedford for bringing some actual good food into Red Deer!! Now open up more locations please!!

I shared the chicken and waffles poutine with a friend and it was very yummy but I got sick that evening from it. I also got the buddha bowl with chicken which was really yummy! Even though it is a rice bowl I would have preffered a few more fixings on top instead of it mostly being rice. I will probably go again as they have many delicious looking options, just not the poutine again!

Got the chicken souvlaki pita. I actually heard the girl say were out of chicken . Mine had very little & it was too salty. The giant white subway tiled counter as you first come in was completely filthy. A bit off-putting. Didnt meet expectations unfortunately.

Really good food!

Love the food. Prices are great for what you get! Only complaint is the music is so loud you have to yell your order and its very hard to hear when in the restaurant. I called in my order today and the person taking it couldnt hear me and I ended up getting the wrong food. This is the first time Ive got the wrong food. Every other experience has been great

They have some of the most solid poutine in the province, plus they have a great variety of other food, drinks and desserts!

Donair tasted like nothing but onions and for the high prices i would of expected meat. Very disappointed much better donair places in town then here. This was brought to the attention of the staff working and there response was that its all measured so thats they way its made.

Such a great place! We were passing through Red Deer and wanted to pick up dinner prior to heading back! We got to the front and the clerk greeted us. When we let him we had never been here before he was ready to give recommendations. We received quick and friendly service and ordered a donair and perogie poutine regular sized. Portions were big! My fiancee and I were surprised! Thank you for great service and food! Please consider opening one in Calgary! Cheers!

Had the donair bowl for lunch which was really simple but good, hubs had the Swiss mushroom poutine which I wish I had gotten as looked great but can t have dairy. Nice selection of meal options. Too bad they didn t clean any tables or have visible hand sanitizer but good food

Is it the customer service, the friendly atmosphere, how quick they are, the originality, the variety, the fresh ingredients, if youre not eating here, start, the whole experince is awesome. **Update* if youre not ordering the Mac&Cheese poutine youre not doing it right!

Meh. Went the first time and had the regular sized Buddha Bowl. Quite tasty and protein portion was good. Went today and decided to get the large one (for two servings) and got less everything except for rice. Less chicken, only two tortilla chips and less veg. Fair overall, but inconsistent. Response to reply. This was take out and I did not discover this until I returned home. I tried contacting you with no success. There was a discrepancy in the portions as I divided the original bowl and knew what I had. I understand that reviews have some influence, and knowing this, I review fairly, based on many factors.

This place is amazing. The donair is perfection. The poutines are dangerously delicious. And the PR from the entire crew at the restaurant is second to none. Ive been here a couple times and cant wait to come back. I gave five stars but would give 10 if it were possible.

As a tourist passing through, I decided to try this place out and boy did I hit the jackpot! Upon walking in, I was greeted and everyone was very nice. The owner recommended some items to try since I m not originally from Canada. I am officially obsessed with Donairs and poutines! The sauce they use is amazing. I made my family come back the next day to try it out!! I would recommend this to everyone! Wish I lived closer, but I will be back!
