If you want experience Christmas from the inside ...go here. great venue for live bands and dancing, or just sitting at tables...granted the ones along the roll up doors near the front are not super easy to sit at... Go and youll see what I mean. Lots of other good seating though so dont let that deter you.

Do not sleep on Wing Night.

Their menu has gone down hill, they dont even have nachos on the menu. You can order it but its not on the menu. Completely disappointed at the changes, they used to have a great menu! Too bad they moved away from it. Wont be visiting again anytime soon unless I hear they have changed the menu.

Came for the Matt Andersen concert and had the pleasure of being in Larrys section. She provided fantastic service, a great personality and pretty sick dance moves .

Went here for our anniversary dinner, when we arrived we noticed 90% of the tables had names on them, asked the bartender who was on their phone where we should sit, they responded with anywhere . After that we waited another 10 minutes for the server to finally come over, we got our drinks and ordered food. After 40 more minutes of waiting (we ve now been sitting waiting for almost an hour) she comes out to tell us that what we ordered isn t available. Now an HOUR after we ve been waiting, and now were late for our movie and other plans for our anniversary. Terrible service, couldn t even tell whether our food was good as we left

I was here for a Christmas Party, and it was really nicely decorated everywhere. Servers were busy and needed a little more help, but 6 or 7 Christmas parties were happening simultaneously.

We have been to Bos for a variety of reasons, everyday hang out, Christmas parties, burlesque shows and stand up. Each trip is always a great time! Staff is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are very fair. Atmosphere is great! Do yourself a favor and check it out.

80s night was fabulous!

Ive now been to 2 events at Bos. The first time the band was amazing but that was it. The second time was a dance event... and they really shouldnt hold those here. They dont have a good set up for it. But besides that, if you ever go to an event here ALWAYS PRE-DRINK. The drinks are insanely overpriced compared to other places in Red Deer. If you need a drink later in the night, walk over to the liquor store. The food (if you can even find a place to sit) is also overpriced and mediocre at best. Plenty of restaurants around it to eat at instead if youre hungry. I would be hard pressed to ever visit this place again unless it had a really amazing band or something.

Tonight was my first time at Bo s for an event and our server Larry was absolutely amazing! She was Super outgoing, fun, attentive and knowledgeable and works very well under pressure as it was for a concert event and she made sure to always check in on us! 10/10 recommend going to bo s and asking for Larry to serve you!

Great stop for dinner. Nice casual atmosphere. Prompt and correct service. Steak sandwich was one of the best I ever had and its my go to.

Did not have my Beer on Tap, craft beer replacement was terrible, gave me cramps, had tacos, were really good, prices were OK, service was OK also just 1 waitress but she was efficient and kind.

I came to the Battle of the Buskers and it was so fun and I m not sure who the bartender was serving me at the bar but he was great, so polite and attentive and I felt very welcome. This is a beautiful bar and great atmosphere. I would come here again for sure

We stopped by on the way to Banff national Park for dinner. Right from the start, the service was great. Even though it is a bar, the food was excellent. The beer selection was very long, but the waitress was very good at helping out.

Still the best nachos ever! The back patio looks great!

Always great food, and tastes the same each time, which is key. When you like something and order it again, its good to have the same quality! Service is usually great, although there are a couple of servers who are really good at making you feel like they arent just going through the motions and make the extra effort to have a more genuine connection for the time we are there...which is excellent. Sometimes we come in for a special event, but sometimes we just stop in for our favorite snacks! The beet salad and nachos! Yummmm!

I feel that sometimes restaurants get a little high on themselves when they get popular and forget whats important - happy customers. I dined with a friend this evening and our experience was lackluster. First I was really wanting some of their cool and unique french fries, I searched the menu and couldnt find them so I asked the server if they still had them and she pointed to their happy hour menu and said theyre only available during that time and they will not make it for you outside of these hours. I was a little put off by this because usually a restaurant that values its clients will make exceptions, but okay, Ill find something else. So we ordered the spinach dip to share and then we each got a meal. The spinach dip itself was fine, not amazing, but fine. The meals were fine. My drink was fine. When we went to pay at the end of the evening we asked for seperate bills and then the server asked who wanted to pay for the spinach dip and I asked her to split it and she said they arent able to split. What kind of restaurant wont split an appetizer? Considering the fan fare and loyal customers Bos has youd think they would be a little more customer centric. Im just a little disappointed, its these small things that can make a customers experience great instead of mediocre.

Great food and atmosphere!

We stopped in here while we waited for a tire repair. Wow! We were pleasantly surprised! Its a bar! A great-looking, modern-old-school live-band bar! Unfortunately for us, it was a weekday afternoon, so the vibe is much different than a live-band bar from a Friday night. But! The service was great! And the food was delicious! Better than your average bar food. The quinoa bowl was exactly what I needed after a day on the road. And the bartender was very friendly and engaging! It made me want to come back on a weekend and check out the live entertainment!

Would be nice to post on social media that you will be closed at an off time.. Drove 20 km to come have a couple pints and was told at 3pm theyre closed tell the game starts... While 3 people were sitting at a table drinking, one old lady gambling and another person at the bar... Thanks for wasting my time...

I ordered catering from Bos Bar and Grill for a get-together over the weekend, and I have to say, they exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, the experience was phenomenal. Every single dish was 10/10 delicious, leaving all our guests absolutely blown away. Having dined at Bos before, we were already fans of their restaurant, but this was our first catering experience with them. The menu offered a wide variety of options, ensuring there was something for everyone. The portions were generous, which meant nobody left hungry. If youre looking for a catering service that delivers in both quality and quantity, I highly recommend Bos Bar and Grill. They made our dinner truly memorable!

The song bird brunches on Sunday are an amazing opportunity to see great talent up close and over great food! Really unique menu that you won t find anywhere else. My favourite that I have ordered twice now is the Cornmeal Pancake Rancheros but my friends tell me they are known for their fried chicken. Vegetarian options: If you eat eggs the cornmeal pancake rancheros are out of this world good! Dietary restrictions: I m a vegetarian and I am happy with the options and they have customized for me. I also can t have cream or milk and they are great about leaving whipped cream off of items I ordered without whipped cream.

Wings tasted like they were two days old, weak flavours on the wings. The screen to watch hockey on was blurry as hell/laggy. Waitresses were awesome and drinks were great! Food : 1/5

I had not been to Bos in awhile, the new menu is Fantastic. There are so many Funky, cool vegetarian dishes. The staff is Great, helpful with the menu..The place hasnt been updated in forever. But we will be back soon. More menu items I must try!!

We used Bos to cater our reception. I never thought that I would get to have burgers and mac and cheese for my wedding but I loved it! I appreciated Brennan taking the time to work with us and accommodate our needs and adaptations to the menu. We also would like to thank Jacqui and her team for serving our guests. If you are looking for catering I would recommend Bos Bar and Grill.

Food was amazing and I want to give it 5 stars but if you have an onion allergy it is in the patty. Would be nice to have a non onion version. The chicken burger I had as an alternative was 5 !

Great establishment in Red Deer. Bos has amazing food and very generous drink menu with outstanding cocktails! Great place to go for snacks on happy hour, a drink on the summer patio, a nice dinner or a night out for a concert! Highly recommend visiting, but be prepared to be back multiple times.

Best live shows Ive been to. Very much recommend checking out their lineups to see if your favorite indie band might have a show booked! The recent team up with the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra was one of the best nights out Ive been to in years. Thanks to Bos for putting it on.

Their steak rated in my top 3 ever had. The chimchurri was the perfect touch and the craft beer selection is top notch! The cherry ale was delish! The salad that came with the steak was delightful and I could have just eaten endless plates of it!

Amazing venue, awesome food. Love going here for all sorts of events. But for the love of god, fix the plumbing in the washrooms! Would be nice if the toilets actually flushed. That is all :) everything else is excellent.

Great selection of beers on tap. Staff is friendly. This is a place to go in red deer where there is more of a mature age group. Which many people can appreciate. Great venues.

Went for a show so it was really busy and didnt get a table to order food. But the atmosphere was great.

I previously had given Bos a favorable review. But my recent experience changed my mind. We bought 6 tickets to an event. Not our first time but this time was different. We went early to ensure a good table and to have supper before the show started. We were there for the doors to open but there were no tables left already. We had to leave to have supper and drinks elsewhere and returned in time to find the event had started. We stood the whole show. Several in our group have issues standing and so it was painful for them. I noticed several people older then us also forced to stand. I also saw another group eating food without a table in front of the bathroom. Bos obviously sold well past seating capacity. So keep this in mind if you pay good money to see a show. You might have to stand. If you are older this may not work well for you.

Love this venue for live music or just to enjoy the food and drinks. However, the picnic style seating is absolutely awful and really uncomfortable. Food

Bos never fails to meet the mark. Hubbys burger was moist, nicely prepared with a great selection of sides and my Rice bowl was tasty, fresh and perfectly prepared. The blonde ale suggested by our waitress was the perfect crisp touch to a great meal!!

Bos is Red Deers timesless bar and restaurant. I always make a point of stopping in when Im in the neighborhood. Excellent food and a great selection of craft beer.

Awesome food, had a large party there (30+) and only complaint was it took over 1.5hrs to get our food and some people in our group waited over 2hrs

We drove down from Viking to meet with friends from Calgary to have lunch. We all arrived at 1:00 only to find this place all locked up. The web site said they were open but...nope!! I called their number and no answer. Mmmmm. Guess they dont need our business.

Hands down, BOs is the best pub in Red Deer. They have a huge selection of craft beer and several non-alcoholic beer choices as well. The menu would make any foodie happy with new additions seasonally and a monthly butcher selection. The service is exceptional and the main reason we come back again and again!

The servers here are so aware of their customers! Not only did they recreate an old drink for us, they also stepped in when another customer got disrespectful. Amazing service and amazing food and drinks!

Deadly pub

The Atmosphere was good & our waitress was great. There was such a variety of good beer available. I would definitely come back to this place.

Unusual mix of country industrial atmosphere. Interesting but not really my style. Only craft beers on tap, but all locally sourced in Alberta. Would have given 3 stars, but the price was high. Over $8.00 for a 16 ounce pint.

Absolutely loved this bar and music venue. I went there while out of town and I wish we had somewhere like that where I live! Wonderful employees very accommodating staff great atmosphere and a wonderful show with good sound.

Went to the 95.5 50 anniversary last night. Food was decent. Service was alright. The sound was terrible. Could barely understand what anyone with the microphone was saying when talking. The bass and drums were drowning out the singing and sounded very echoey. Was expecting better for bigger name artists

Its a pub, so take the 5 stars into perspective, but food is always good, almost gourmet pub fare, service always has a smile and were a small city, you almost always run into an old friend ....and when shows are on, always a good vibe!!!

Delicious lunch

Excellent community events and shows. The food is great and they have a wide variety of drink options. Afternoons are chill and relaxed, and the nightlife definitely gets loud. Its not a place to go and chit-chat quietly, so I wouldnt recommend for those who are hard of hearing.

I was sceptical at first but I went with 2 friends to try different things. We all shared each others food and we were blown away by the unique tastes and textures of the food. Will be going back for sure!

I cannot recommend Bos enough. Live shows, Christmas dining experiences, or just a quiet lunch during the week. They do it all so so well. Also that craft beer menu.... <3
