I purposely sat by the window for the sunshine but patrons that came in after me wanted the blinds closed. I don t know why they weren t directed to a table further from the window. I was not asked if I wanted the blinds closed. I left without finishing my meal. So disappointed because I am a very regular customer but that will definitely change!!!!!

Very friendly staff, Great food and service. Very helpful to my young ones for ordering food. Never have any issue when I go with my elder, best friend and my kids. Very prompt as well. Highly recommend

Wonderful supper with my family and saw many friends there

I had an amazing evening taking my mom out for her birthday. A huge shout out to our amazing server Kyler! The food was absolutely amazing my mom had Baja fish tacos with Yam fries and I had the fancy tomato sandwich with bacon and a salad. Kyler was extremely helpful going over the menu, kept the social sodas/lagers coming and she was so kind. Wonderful might out; will definitely be back!

Fantastic outing with family. Very hospitable and comfortable afternoon environment. Great variety of foods ( South Western salads to Asian inspired bowls). Cowboy salad was a fresh delight with a little spice from the blackened chicken. Will return soon!

Went for brunch. First time there. Wont go back, toast was burnt, and only 1 peice of toast. Bacon was hard, and only 2 slices. And only maybe 10 prices of pan fried potatoes. Terrible

Fast and easy takeout experience! Hostesses were very nice and this would be a great location for a little date night in Red Deer, a great environment.

My fiancee and I hadnt been to Browns for quite some time so we decided to stop in for some lunch where we were greeted and shown to our seats by very friendly staff. While browsing through the menu I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and try something different which I am so glad that I did! On the chefs corner of the menu was the Fancy Tomato Sandwich that I thought how fancy could a Tomato sandwich get? When my plate arrived at our table I was met with complete amazement on the presentation alone on how a simple sandwich paired with the Thai Chicken Soup was plated. I sampled the soup already knowing how rich and delicious it always is but then as I took a bite of my sandwich I immediately felt an almost euphoric sensation starting from my taste buds which then coursed through my body! There are so many levels of flavors that hit so perfectly well in that sandwich its almost impossible to put into words how absolutely delicious and satisfying it really was! Although I did add the blackened chicken AND smoked bacon to the sandwich which were both optional, I feel like they just belong in there it wouldnt be right leaving them out! Eleven outta ten in downtown Flavortown!!!

First time visiting in awhile. The service from the moment we walked in until we left was second to none. Our server and the manager were awesome and deserve to be recognized for how well they do their job. Kid-friendliness: Pleasantly surprised with how much the manager and server interacted with our little one. Great service, well done!

Good experience with my family

While finishing dessert we noticed the pungent smell and taste of cigarettes. Found the foil from a pack of cigarettes in the bottom of our brownie. Realized the kids - who had already complained of the strong smoke flavour- had likely eaten the ashes of a cigarette at the very least. The staff attempted to tell us this was foil from butter used to make the brownie. The smell of cigarettes surrounded the brownie when it was opened up. Patrons next to us could smell it. This was NOT BUTTER FOIL. They offered to comp the dessert and some drinks .honestly. We settled on paying half the bill and will NEVER be back. The fact that we payed anything at all was a kindness for the poor server and from sheer desire to leave immediately. Absolutely sickening.

Food was really good. Waitress was amazing, kept up to our crazy group of 12. Downside was the 10 girls who looked under age, going back and forth to the bathroom doing coke. Dietary restrictions: Too much chicken

I was at this restaurant last night to meet up with some friends. Had a fantastic time. The waitress (Brook -1412) did an outstanding job. I could not ask for anything better. She took her time and made sure that everything was perfect. I had the Fish and Chips. I would not be able to eat 2 pieces of fish. Brook was able to get me 1/2 an order. The food was just as good as the service. I would definitely be back again. The staff were very friendly and were willing to help out. Thank you everyone for going above and beyond.

So happy with our experience (March 30th) We had a super big group (18 people) and service was excellent. Our waitress was on top of keeping filling waters, drink orders and was super lovely and friendly. Drinks were coming super fast, our appies also came in record time. Our mains all came at once and were hot and delicious. Fabulous experience and we had a great time.

A friend and i came in for appies and a drink and was served by kaylynn ( not sure if thats her name) and she made our experience amazing. She went above and beyond regular service expectations. My friend and I go out quiet frequently and now feel we have found our go to spot because of how well we were treated. So thank you for reminding us that good customer service still exists.

Everything was really great and the service was awesome. The one issue that I had was our soda water refills were $4.50 each. I m pretty disappointed that each soda water was actually that expensive. One glass of soda water for $4.50 insanity. And I didn t know I was paying for the refills. So I paid over $20 for soda water. How can that even be justified? Very annoying because I didn t notice until after we left the restaurant. Hopefully that was just a mistake by the server because that s insane to charge that much for soda water refills.

I love this place!! My girlfriend and I came on Valentine s Day and we had a great experience. Food was out to us promptly and tasted amazing. Our server was very cheerful and joked with us to keep us entertained throughout the evening. We will be going back.

So Ive given this location 3 separate tries of their food and been disappointed every time. This eveing I was recommended the Crispy chicken burger and I hesitated as most places do not get good quality chicken and there is always gross ligaments and bits inside. The waitress reassured me of its quality and I ordered it. 3 bites in and a gross grease pocket with chewy parts that were clearly not breast meat. I gagged and couldnt eat anymore. The ceaser salad that I ordered had wilted lettuce and quite a lot of brown pieces in it. Overpriced food that is sub par quality. Would not recommend anyone eat here.

Loved it here! Fabulous environment, decor was classy & comfortable. Had the lettuce wraps which were wonderful. The pic is of a very unique feature wall.

Really like Browns as they have GF options as well as vegan so we can all eat as a family. It is always fresh and hot. Love the cowboy salad !! Dietary restrictions: Have GF buns and you can have the crispy chicken sandwich!!

We ordered food for pick up and the staff was so friendly and the food was divine! Definitely should eat there!!

The service is always really good, very attentive and nice servers. We usually go for lunch on Sundays without kids, every single time the fries are burnt and the last bits left at the bottom of the basket. When we go any other time, the food is always really good. Other than that great, but small details, just someone not caring about changing fryer oil and ensuring to send out an actual order of fries.

Love this place. Great spot for dinner with a date or a few friends to watch the game. Service was fast and so friendly and the food was exceptional!

It was wonderful the food was great, atmosphere relaxed and clean, but our waitress was what made it wonderful. Aliyah in the Red Deer location was amazing. Drinks were never empty, never had to ask about anything over. So pleasant and great at what she does! We will go back because of her! Thank you!

Unfotrunately our first experience at Browns will be our last. All my food was so salty I could barely eat it. My husbands steak was undercooked so was sent back. They totally did a new one and it was undercooked even worse! To their credit they did not charge us for the steak but our whole experience was underwhelming

Bantam Hockey team in from Calgary with parents on Saturday afternoon for lunch. Pre ordered our food. (All various menu items) One server took care of us. Normally that is a big mistake. Nope. ROCKED it! Other girls helped with running food and payment but Megan was very friendly and personable yet able to accommodate a high demand group in a very timely fashion. Food was not only 100% accurate but also very great quality. Beers were cold. Payments were quick and easy and totally well organized and accurate. Refreshing to see it done right. Great job Brownes team!

Quite a nice ambiance for dine in. Visited with friends and had a good experience with the food and friendly service provided by the staff. Vegetarian options: They have a good variety of vegetarian food and can make variety of dishes with combinations as per demand from the menu.

Who would ve thought poke in red deer would be this good??? You ve gotta try it I swear it s amazing 5/5. The chicken and pickle fry is good too 3.5/5, the tacos are amazing 4/5. The fried cawli is good too 3.5/5. Will defs come again

Had food delivered from here. Terrible experience. I ordered a bowl of soup, and they sent a cup sized version instead. Also ordered the lettuce wraps, and it did not come with the sauce, which is the absolute best part about that dish. I called and spoke with who I presume to be a manager, as he apologized and claimed he would mail me a gift card. Well weeks have passed, and nothing was sent to me.. safe to say its not coming. Very unfortunate, I will not be returning or ordering from again, as those lettuce wraps were one of my favorite things..

We love this place. Food prices are reasonable, the food is good. Service is very attentive usually. Lots of parking now with an extended parking lot to the East of the building. Wonderful all season indoor patio.

Had a large group food was ok, nothing desirable. Had a few things missed and never brought out, then tried to blame other people at the table for taking it. And then still tried to bill us for all of it. Probably go back, but its definitely not my first choice

Food was delicious. We just ordered some appetizers. The server was good. She only stopped by once to check on us but we didnt have any issues. She came quickly with the bill when we requested it. The space was quiet but it can get really noisey in the main area. We were just inside by the door. Would go again just not at a peak busy time. Parking: Can be limited on the street directly outside depending on the time of day.

Food was excellent, highly recommend blackened chicken fettuccine alfredo, southwest chicken bowl. Loaded nachos not so loaded, but good. Servers were very nice and knowledgeable. Only thing, they took my fork after appetizers. After they brought our food I realized, and could not get the attention of any server for about 5 minutes to bring me a new one. Overall, very happy and would go back.

i got the steak and pasta tonight for supper and let me tell you, that was hands down the best steak i ve ever eaten in my life, perfectly cooked, so tender and juicy. the service was incredible as well, didn t manage to get the waitresses name however. Hadnt been to Browns in awhile...very pleasantly suprised with the very tasty food! I put the Calamari #1 in Red Deer! Everything else that Ive had as well...Burger was also incredible!

Honestly delicious food. And to top it off my friend and I were asked where we d like to sit and when we chose the front living room type space the host said of course even though we would be the only two there for the first 20-30 minutes. He later (2-3 minutes) followed up with us asking if we d like the room to be a few degrees warmer to which we said yes, please. This was a pleasant and reaching experience. The beef dip was phenomenal

Went back to Browns for the first time in a long time. Theyve really turned things around. The service from Kenzie was amazing, super friendly, polite, frequent, and anticipatory. The food is back to the high quality and taste one used to expect from Browns. I recommend everything in the Chefs Corner on the menu.

We showed up with a whole high school boys basketball team. We called and ordered ahead walked in and had our drink order immediately and the food in front of each kid within 5 minutes of sitting down! Every order was exactly right and the food was awesome! Service was the best I have ever had especially with a group of 13!! Well done! And special cusps to Janae who took our order over the phone and served us!!

Our service was excellent. We were there just before 5:00. Happy hour was ending but we still were treated to 2 glasses of house white at happy hour pricing. Great spot for friends to reconnect! Dietary restrictions: We always have the potato crusted cod and the cowboy salad with no croutons as we are gluten free. Lovely evening!!

Oh my word. I met my son here for supper. I wanted blackened chicken and the server suggested the burger (although not on the menu). So good. Portions are great for the money, drinks were really good and the atmosphere was relaxing. Service was amazing and the server always had a smile.

Took my gf here for lunch. Food was great. Service was fantastic. The servers were all around on point. Ambiance was also very nice. I bet the patio looks amazing at night. My gf and I like similar items on menus so we often order two dishes to share. This is the first place our meals have shown up already split on separate dishes which was super thoughtful of the staff. Overall a great experience which I think likely reflects good leadership as well.

When I m in Red Deer, I like stopping for the tuna poke bowl and yam fries! Brown s Social House is consistent with their food. It is an intimate, cozy environment. They have a bar area and an outdoor covered patio space that is a little quieter. If you get takeout, remember to specifically ask for utensils or you will be out of luck!!

Our favourite place for date nights! Whatever you get to eat will be fantastic! And the drinks are always spot on . Waiting staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
