We were out for a birthday party. We had the best experience. Our server Candi was really helpful and kind.

The first time I ever got kicked out of a restaurant. I was joking with the waitress and she was upset. I was willing to apologize to the server and the manager said she didnt accept my apology. These days, a person has to be careful what they say. People get offended so easily. I admitted my mistake and will learn from it. Very woke restaurant

We had a family dinner at East Side Marios, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fun and lively. They even had unique and special drinks for the kids, which made it extra special. Service was lightning fast too! Highly recommend for a great family outing.

Came there as large group. First time. Bread and soup very good. Meal NOT. Veal was a hockey puck hard over cooked. Penne noodles in two dishes uncooked. Seafood linguini is; linguini noodles with shrimp n mussles dumped ontop??? Linguini not cooked. All 7 of us had an issue. We wont be back. On the other side the waitress was great!! Fri nov 10 at 5pm. We were there.

Love eating at this restaurant. Staff is fantastic. Jake always orders pasta. They are supporters of our schools football program, through our Cougar Cards, accepting a discount. Food

All of our orders were cold, they complained about being busy. One server wouldnt give us the time of day. Walked ul to us at the front door, looked us over, and said it would be 45 minutes. I replied that we have a reservation. And she walked away. The restaurant looked 3/4s full. Another server stepped up and placed us at our table. The server who took care of us was extremely pleasant, reiterating that they were extremely busy and the kitchen was backed up. I could go on and on about the disorganization and lack of management we had witnessed. We attended for my wifes birthday as she really liked Eastside Marios in Ontario and everywhere else she encountered them. Sadly disappointed. Timothy Lavallee.

We had a good meal here with the kinds. I got the chicken parm sandwich. I enjoyed it. My wife got the Calzone which she did not like. Grandkids come here regularly and got chicken which they enjoyed. Service was good and friendly. Atmosphere was ok, but nothing excellent, just clean and well maintained.

Hello I was in at 4 pm Monday August 26 with my parent, daughter, and I and we had a great time the food was great but the best part was the amazing server we had she was so kind and check in on us to make sure we were good. Her name is Dakota so I wanted to give her a shout out keep up the great work

It has been a while since eating at ESM and today s experience left me with mixed feelings. Waitress was very friendly and attentive, we didn t have to wait too long for our order either. We ordered chicken parm with salad and calamari, kids had pizzas. The only tasty food turned out to be kids pizzas. Chicken parm: spaghetti were overcooked and lightly warm (almost if it was heated up and not freshly cooked), chicken was tasteless with lumpy tomato sauce. Calamari were tasteless as well. Our salad came with no seasoning and no dressing so we had to ask for extra dressing. I don t think we will be back.

we have had dinner as a large family multiple times at the red deer location. Tonight we had Dakota as our server, she was amazing! Super attentive, on top of all the things we needed, super friendly and quick with all our requests. We noticed this specific visit that all the pastas we ordered were extremely dry. We had to ask for sides of extra sauce. This isnt typical of what we have experienced in the past. It was mentioned that its been a problem for a lot of people lately and that this is a change made by the business recently. Hopefully it goes back to the way it was otherwise Im not confident we will visit as often as we have. But as always service was perfect!

Had lunch there today. Mentioned a couple things I noticed and it was handled so very professionally. I enjoyed our food as it was absolutely delicious. Candy is by far the best server Ive had since COVID shut down the world - and thats saying something. She was on the ball, asked about how long we had an helped us plan a great date night that worked for our plans. Our drinks never emptied and shes such a pleasant person in general. Fabulous night with the wife at East Side Marios. Lots of delicious food, tomatoe garlic soup top notch, and the italian wedding soup. The lasagna the wife very much enjoyed. We went into east side tonight and Madison was our server and she was over the top amazing with her bubbly personality and cheerful spirit and very knowledgable of the menu will be returning again with Madison.

The pasta was dry. Everyone at the table had to get more sauce just so you could actually eat it. The fries had mold on them and how that happens when they should be cooked at order is beyond me, I cant belive how this place has gone down hill in the last year. Our waitress is the only saving grace to the whole meal.

Walked in at 745pm and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. I looked around the restaurant and there were all kinds of tables sitting empty, restaurant was less than 1/3 full. It was either very poor planning on the part of management or pitiful customer service, either way we were not going to reward incompetence...so we were the 3rd group that left and went elsewhere!

Our server, Amber, was exceptional she greeted us with a warm smile and provided excellent service throughout our meal. Amber made our dining experience truly enjoyable, and her friendly demeanour was much appreciated. The food was just as impressive. We started with an appetizer that set the tone for a great meal. I had steak and creamy pasta, and it was delicious! The steak was cooked to my liking, and the pasta was rich and flavourful. Amazing drinks too. I will definitely be coming back. Amazing place to eat! The food here is delicious and the service is very understanding and kind, Tanley is an amazing server whos very good as well as passionate at her Job! She is very kind, and gets everything to the last detail always getting your to you fast, over-all a great server and person! Been here multiple times and every server I have had is VERY good at there Job and amazingly sweet, also getting the food to us very quick, (thank you chefs for the amazing food and getting it ready for us immediately!) My favourite place to eat and I would love to mention the very creative decorations! Food usually great. Service usually decent as well. Last time we were there we asked the hostess if she could dry off our table as it was just cleaned but very wet. She came back work a towel, placed it on the table and said Here you go. Be prepared to dry off your own table here. Need a lesson in customer service.

A convenient stop along the street with ample parking. The waitress was amazingly efficient. But that is the only positive. My wife ordered a gluten free chicken pasta dish and the pasta was cooked well, I can say the same for my fettuccine in my shrimp Alfredo dish but both sauces were out of this world lacking. I would give the sauces a 1 out of 10. It was a expensive experience. The best part of the meal was the Caesar salad. Parking: Good

We placed a large team order for delivery. The food came exactly as ordered, hot and on time! The way it was packaged ensured safe delivery and a hot meal when it arrived. Food was alright, not the best for the cost, but not bad as well. Restraunt was semi busy. Took over an hour, though, for the food to reach the table. Vegetarian options: There are not many options, although most items can be made to be vegetarian. Note that if you get a ceaser salad, it comes with bacon on it by default.

We ordered the Chicken Linguini. We were served a bowl of limp spaghetti with a few oversized squares of chicken. The sauce was basically warm milk. Even the bread was gross... soggy and undercooked. I used to LOVE East Side Marios. What happened to this place?!?! So sad!

Fantastic service and food. We had 18 people and they were able to accomodate us within 30 minutes of arriving. Our server was awesome and got everyones order perfectly. Very impressed. Food

To anyone wanting a good laugh and a comedy of errors in food form. My husband orders chicken Parmesan, my daughter goes for spaghetti, and I venture into seafood linguine territory. First off, my seafood linguine shows up looking more like a sea monster with the wrong noodles, wrong pasta sauce, and mystery squid instead of the promised scallops. Meanwhile, my husbands supposed chicken Parmesan turns out to be a surprise meatball sandwich. Were in disbelief, but hey, at least were getting a good laugh out of it. We summon our server, who insists that the meatball sandwich is indeed chicken Parmesan, bless their confused heart. Were on the verge of accepting this culinary identity crisis as a new reality show when my pasta reappears, undercooked, still with the wrong seafood, and still not resembling anything from the menu. At this point, I wave the white flag and kindly ask for my seafood mishap to be removed from the bill. I we kindly request to speak with the manager. Once the manger arrives, sensing the chaos, swoops in with apologies and a $25 gift card as a peace offering. But wait, theres more! When the bill finally arrives after a mini expedition to find the manager, its a math puzzle gone wrong, charging me for the gift card instead of subtracting it from the bill. Im all for a good laugh and rolling with the punches, but when the manager starts playing hide-and-seek with bills and blaming the kitchen for a comedy of errors, its like were stuck in a sitcom episode without the laugh track.

I was warned by somebody who worked in the kitchen not to go there because of how unclean the back was. Actually, disgusting was the word they used but I thought maybe they were overreacting. I guess I should have listened. Went there for a date and they need to do something about the flies in the restaurant. I didnt even take my food home.

Eh badda boom badda bing! My 3 year olds favourite restaurant. He loves the atmosphere and there are no bad options on the menu. Great family restaurant for a good price and all you can eat bread. The salads are tasty. The portions are large. No complaints on the din in experience. A bit lackluster on the take out side. It felt like 2 different restaurants.

The server Caitlyn was super helpful and the food was hot and accommodating with our toddler. Kid-friendliness: They made sure that our little toddler was still important for our server, and they were accommodating with getting us a hot water for our bottle.

Drinks, salads, and bread loafs were quite enjoyable. Unfortunately the fairly pricey mains were soggy and tasteless.

We were seated and had ordered by 6 pm. We received our drinks, soup and bread by 6:10. Our waitress came back at 6:30 and said our food should be out soon. We explained that we would be leaving at 7:00, as we had tickets to see a movie. At 6:44, still no food, so the waitress suggested we get it to go. At 6:50, a different server brought over the wrong food. I had ordered the chicken parm with spaghetti and she had it with fries. My husband had ordered the mangia sampler but they brought him a tiny Sammy bun thing. We had purposely not had extra soup and I had only had 2 small slices of bread, because we wanted room for our mains. We were also not offered refills on our empty cups either. They didnt charge us for our one bowl of soup, one cup of drink and 2 small loaves of bread, and gave us a $10 coupon. Pretty bad service. Wont be back any time soon. We did enjoy our movie, even though we were both hungry.

Out for my Granddaughter s 14th. Birthday, great food. The service by Trinity was outstanding! This girl was above top drawer , she actually served items like salad and bread before we had a chance to order more. As well, being a small eater, she provided extra sauce for me when I packed my supper up. Well done Trinity, you are awesome, thank you for making this an exceptional experience.

Took my family out for supper between 420-520pm. Food was okay. It came out fast but was lukewarm. Service was okay, our waitress favoured half of our party over the other.. she was nice up until it came time to pay. Our waitress audibly was rude at the amount of tip that was left.. proceeded to go to the other half of our party and was super nice and was quite loud in saying she appreciated them so much .. I just found it a bit unprofessional and left me uncomfortable in bringing my family back.

Went out for dinner with 4 girlfriends tonight, we planned on taking advantage of the unlimited salad, soup and bread. That we definitely did! Everything was delicious and everyone left too stuffed for dessert. Trinity was our server and she was amazing! She was offered great suggestions, answered all our menu questions, was super friendly, so nice and always smiling, even with our endless salad, soups and bread orders (every time she came by our table). Thank you for the great service really made our dinner so enjoyable.

No service. We came at 8pm and nobody came to seat us. We waited for 15 minutes and kitchen was discussing something, looked at us and laughed. Waitress walked near us TWICE and pretended that we didn t exist. Good luck guys with a great experience with unacceptable poor service. Never will recommend anybody and never will come back. Enjoy your silence in the restaurant after 8, when you guys closed at 9.

I quit coming here for a long time (years) because of multiple bad experiences and mediocre food. But decided to give it another chance lately and I have to say it s definitely improved. The service was phenomenal even though they had a table of 40 people, and the food came out fast and delicious. I m glad I gave it another chance.

They dont do reservations on the busiest days. Fri Sat and Sun which are the most needed days for reservations. Waited half an hour to be seated than had to wait another 15 mins for a waiter to come serve us. Waitress got part of the order wrong but got it corrected. Food was great but prob wont go back due to lack of reservations option and service. Parking: Limited parking spots close.

Im a bit of a frugal type of restaurant goer. I like to get my moneys worth. As a senior the lunch menu is a perfect menu. I like the garlic bread and the soup/ salad all you can eat for 13.99 you have a good meal and leave full! A lot of places you cant even get a burger for that! The soup and salads are good. The sizes are decent. The service here is always good. The waitresses are attentive and cheerful. I really enjoy coming here. This is the east side Marios on the South side of red deer.

The new Gnocchi is amazing...I keep coming back for more. The soup was as delicious as ever. Super friendly staff!

Good food with good service. Party of 11 was served quite well with only a pizza for one order being delivered well after the other meals.

Server Trinity was fabulous! Loved the salads, always my favorite! Main course dinner was good. Cant help but leave the restaurant stuffed every time! They closed the one in BC, so I had to move here to Red Deer, Alta, to be able to enjoy this restaurant again!

Excellent place for lunch.recommend the Soup & salad .. which is anall U can eat soup & non- stop fresh & hot bread (mini-loaf). Service is GR8 & servers are at your table - seeing if U need any more bread .. or soup. ps: the salad is absolutely great & is a very large serving with their own dressing mixed in. Absolutely yummy ! Highly recommended East Side Marios in Red Deer, Alberta. I have been to Calgary and Ed.onton Marios and definitely recommend them as well. (U aint leaving hungry).

Was expecting an average chain meal however was super impressed with all aspects of my meal, in particular it was the Hells Kitchen Chicken.

Caitlyn was absolutely amazing. My coworker and I decided on a late supper after a garbage day at work and she turned our day right around. She was funny and personable, had great recommendations, knew perfectly when to check on us and when to leave us to gab. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing, Caitlyn was amazing. 11 out of 10 recommend.

Best food, best price, best service in Red Deer hands down. It s all you can eat plus a good meal. Caitlyn was also the best server I ve ever met by far. I ll come back for sure!

Would not recommend. It was dirty and the food has the taste and texture of leftovers reheated in the microwave. The drinks were lacking for the price. The server we had was good but it seemed like she was the only one working as her coworkers were busy chatting rather then helping. The price for the extremely poor quality of the meal is outrageous. I honestly wish we went to McDonalds rather then stop here.

Waitress was awesome, friendly, and full of east side Mario s spirit. She even said badaboom badabing when putting down our drinks ! Loved it. Her name was Kaitlyn! Red deer location.

The bowl of salad was big, my main was small and not very hot. Waitress was good. Probably not a restaurant I would want to go back to though.
