Asian Fusion - Home of the Croffle
We had the creamy Alfredo and surf and turf, every part of it was brilliant. We will be back
This was by far the best damn chicken sandwich i have ever had!! Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an amazing meal!
This is my first time stopping at the Quality Inn and I am hungry and was looking for a bite and coffee. Thought, Quality Inn, simple burger and coffee and I'm. Outta here. What a total shock I received. The burger was crazy delicious and the fries were amazing. I actually had to stop myself from licking the plate after but I did stick my finger in the gravy bowl to get what was left in there. What is going on in Red Deer. My compliments to the Chef. I am definitely coming back here when I pass thru. And the rest of the menu looks amazing as well. The dishes brought out of the kitchen by the wait staff looked picture perfect. Wow, I still can't believe it.
This is a great small restaurant in Red Deer with amazing food for super good value! We had steak Neptune which was cooked to perfection followed by stickie toffee pudding for dessert which was delicious! Try out this spot and you will be going back just like us!
Incredible Korean food, delicious, great flavours. Casual and very clean restaurant. Staff are very kind & friendly. Must try: The Croffle burger or bulgogi or chicken & Croffle.
Servers were very kind and all extremely helpful! Bathrooms are hard to find, but the servers had no problem taking you there which is very nice! The interior is a little bare but it's very clean. I had the croffle and chicken (C&C) and it was okay. I got the brown sugar croffle and it had very little taste but overall it was still okay. The chicken, however, was very thin and kind of hard to bite apart. There was a lot of crunchiness which they promised but there also wasn't a lot of chicken meat. For the price, $17 is perhaps a little too much as my chicken was hard and had a lot of cartilage and my croffle had no taste. If I were to come back, I would get a different type croffle! Overall, it was a good experience! I would recommend this place, especially if you've never had a croffle.
Very unique menu. I had the fried chicken on a "croffle". I also had what looked like a spring roll but was actually mashed potatoes deep fried. It was excellent. The service was good. The atmosphere is a basic family restaurant.
First time but loved it. Ordered Croffle waffle, croissant. Different but so tasty. Bacon and ham with hash browns. Pretty tasty. Not super busy so food came out fast and hot. The restaurant was attached to the quality Inn. Service was friendly and fast. Very clean. Will be back
One of best in Red deer! Must try! Dont miss
The food is ok but the service was lacking. Our waiter wasnt very attentive to the point were we would have to be waiving him down multiple times for the same thing, which wouldnt be an issue if it was busy or something but there was only about 4 tables on the go when I was there. Probably wont go back for in house dining.
A great place to hang out and have food you wont find anywhere else!
Service was good, but the food was far less then desirable, food was cold, Hollandaise sauce had zero flavor, and the croffle was under done.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant. Food was amazing. Service was great. Atmosphere very welcoming!!
Food was great, staff were nice and restaurant is nice inside.
I went here with my family and the server sat us at a table in the corner and then forgot all about us. When we noticed she served 3 more guest before us who came after, we just walked out. No one deserves that kind of treatment.
Good food
We have been travelling in western Canada for a few weeks now and the Local Croffle House has risen as one of our favourites!!! Very accommodating, excellent service, huge portions and delicious food!!! Thank you!
My family and I absolutely love this place!! The croffle has become a new obsession for me! The servers are always so welcoming and kind every time we are there, and Hamza the owner is just a genuinely good person!! He is so accommodating and truly cares about the experience his customers are left with and just goes above and beyond! Looking forward to checking out the menu change and our next meal here!!
Came with my family for the first time this past weekend and we wanted to like it but the service was just so bad. We got seated right away but then had to wait forever to get our order taken, we ordered 4 coffees and 4 meals. Coffees came out pretty quick but without any cream which then took forever to come out to the point that the coffees were cold by the time we got the cream and the coffee wasnt even that good. The food came out decently fast as well but 2/4 meals were missing a side of hash browns even after the server confirmed we wanted them. Even if we wanted to say something about the missing items we couldnt because no one came around again until we were finished eating. What we did get food wise was really good though, the Bulgogi Benedict and the C&C were both super tasty. Overall the food was good but the service really brought the experience down.
Awesome Food
20% compulsory tips if more than 8 people. The services and the food were soso
I had a 10 minute bus stop and I was hungry so I ordered take out and paid the bill. I was running out of time and did not want to miss my bus so I left the venue and walked back to the bus. The bus was about to leave and one of their staff came to the bus to drop off the order. I thought I had wasted my money. This speaks to their awesome service to keep customers happy.
Croffle was delicious!
Great selection and great flavours. The croffles and chicken is amazing.
Amazing food and the staff is awesome.
Atmosphere is great. Same with the service. Food is great as well. They could use more staff. The servers seem run off their feet.
We ordered the bulgogi beef bennie with a side of crittos and a brown sugar croffle with blueberry sauce. The bulgogi beef bennie was AMAZING! The crittos lacked flavor and would not order again. The croffle was okay. Definitely underwhelming.
Very good food and great service
The place was absolutly miserable and depressing, it was empty and so echoey so you had to wisper! The prices were I same! 5 dollars for a tiny cup of coffee and the coffee had grounds in the bottom and I got seriously sick! Horrible trip to the bathroom NEVER AGAIN
Awesome place
Very nice atmosphere, the food was delicious, and even though the server was very busy he still made us feel very welcome and attended to. Definitely recommend eating here!!
Not a dig on the server but 1 server for the entire place you guys are over working him beyond unfair to criticize him, he was very nice but overall half of our orders of toast never made it to our table. food was barley seasoned unfortunate was excited to try this place left hungry even with a full breakfast personally wouldn t come again if I had a choice unless you guys start staffing properly.
Not that it s the workers fault but you guys had one guy working as the host and server for the ENTIRE restaurant. Most of our group ( group of 10 with reservation) didn t get our toast with our food, didn t get our ordered drinks, or didn t get the right food. For a place with such high reviews we thought it would be a great place for our brunch as we are from Manitoba. I ve honestly never been to a restaurant with such low quality work because of under staffing (which is an understatement).
Ordered drinks and food, never received drinks until after meal was fully eaten, not even water. Ordered an extra croffle, never got it. No toppings that we ordered with the croffles showed up. Strange plastic things in friends food. Gave us a discount that roughly equaled the value of the items we didnt receive. What a mess. Felt bad for server being so understaffed.
Great service, and delicious food!
I and my family love this place, the food is really good and piping hot every time. The place is clean and quiet. Most of the staff are great, except for one asian guy who is not very good at serving. Most of the staff would already know what to prepare, this guy is all over the place, and we would need to tell him what we need. He doesnt like being asked for stuff either. And what I hate the most, is he would urge you to give him a tip. I enjoy giving tips to staff who do their job really well. I mostly do give tips whenever we come here, but this dude, is just not good enough to get a tip. Not cool at all. This guy needs retraining.
Had a delicious steak sandwich cooked to perfection Desert was Croffle with Nutella which was delicious The owner was very helpful, patient and polite as it was our first time here, Deffonatly recommend it for a relaxing place to eat. Cant see a place to upload a photo which is a shame. But we will definitely be back to try out more items on the menu.
Delicious wings and the server MaKenna provided the best service I have ever had ! She is friendly and welcoming ! I would recommend coming here just to enjoy a lovely meal .
The breakfast was not good, the eggs were taste less and so greasy, the bacon and ham was the same the toast was so cold that when they buttered it the butter never melted. First and last time there, McDonalds wouldve been better.
The best fries I have ever had. Perfectly crisp, enough oil to give you an amazing burst of flavour but not enough to be dripping or soggy, well seasoned. I didnt dare touch any of them to a condiment lest I sullied their flavour. The Mrs. Vanilla Ice croffle with vanilla ice cream was truly delicious. High quality ice cream on top of a croffle so tender the fork cuts straight through it with no effort. Pillowy, flavorful, delicious. The fried chicken was well breaded, well seasoned, and delicious. Not dripping with oil, high quality meat, and boneless so theres no chance of getting gristle by accident. A truly remarkable meal as far as Im concerned, I will be coming back when I can.
Amazing food
Neat Place with a great tasting menu!
They have your average menu. The Croffel itself was awesome. Service was good. Not overly informative and helping out with recommendations off the menu. Prices I found were a bit steep. Cleanliness of it was good. Probably wont be returning. Sorry guys.
Everything was very dry and it was very expensive.
This is a great place for brunch ...whats a croffle you ask? Its a croisont presssed in a waffle ? IM not totally sure but its freakin amazing...flakey goodness... Eggs benny was so goood.
Fantastic food. No issues there. We were very impressed for a first time visit. The server was almost non-existent though. The level of service provided would have been justified if the restaurant was packed, however, we were just 1 of 2 tables and waited almost 15 minutes just to get a drink order taken, and to get any service I had to motion to the server that we needed him. It took forever to get us a bill and take out containers as well. No quality check after the food was brought to us. I would be happy to visit again but would be hesitant to stay if I had the same server again.
Always a good place to hangout with your friends with. Very warm customer service. Will recommend
We ve been coming here for so long now and we have never been disappointed. The food is very delicious and Ken is an absolute gem, his customer service is topnotch!
RED DEER HAS KOREAN FOOD. Chicken is crispy and delicious. Samgyupsal meat is fresh and flavourful. Ken is amazing at customer service!!!
Was my first time at the Croffle house. I really enjoyed my experience. It was a very cozy welcoming vibe. There is so many options on the menu, you will most definitely find something you love. We ordered the steak on rocks and it was definitely the coolest experience my boyfriend and I had being able to cook our own steak. What really made our experience a 5/5 was our waitress Ken, he had an amazing vibe and really made us feel at home. Will definitely be back. I recommend you try out this place! Thank you Croffle house for such a great experience! :)
Fourth time dining at the Local Croffle House, the food and service has always been awesome, kudos to the wonderful host
My wife and I went there for Valentines Day early. The waiter was so compassionate to my wife and I he recommended the dishes that were totally fantastic.
We came here for brunch with the family and the croffles are delicious!!! Nice, clean and bright. Our server Skyla was freaking amazing. Defintely recommend!
Thank U so much !
I have been here 5 times this month. I think that says it all. It s my go to for eggs Benny and always great service. Parking: Large parking lot Kid-friendliness: Kids can dine here Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and open concept for easy movement
Dont go here if youre already hungry. Service was painfully slow and it took an extremely long time for bacon and eggs to come out of the kitchen with a craffle. Think about 45 minutes before you get your food even though there were less than six tables to serve in the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice though and the food fresh and hot and of good quality.
This is a wonderful gem in RedDeer; wide selection, pleasing presentation, delicious to the last bite! Parking: Lots of free parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Very easily accessible, thank you.
We felt like trying somewhere new so found this restaurant by google search... Such a great find! The croffle club house sandwich was absolutely delicious and the side salad was great too. We were so impressed with the quality of food! I was expecting a mediocre diner attached to hotel, but upon entering the door and being greeted by the friendly waiter those expectations fell away. The menu has a great selection so we will be back to try many more items! This is sure to become our new go-to breakfast and dinner spot!
Once you past the somewhat bewildering and cluttered menu, you are in for a treat! I had the chicken and croffle (ie croissant dough waffle) and it was amazing: Perfectly seasoned, well balanced in terms of salty and sweet, and the fried chicken was nice and juicy! The crittos were also a delightful twist on breakfast potatoes. Service and atmosphere were also great. Value was exceptional--a must eat in Red Deer!
Great menu selection. Friendly service and delicious meals!
Friendly, cheerful staff. Good food experience. I will definitely be back to try other menu items.
Stopped by for a late Sunday lunch, food was super good and the service was even better. Ken is an incredible server, he was very attentive, kind, knowledgeable and helpful throughout our whole lunch.
Another 5 Star experience dining at this place - thanks to the host Ken for recommending the Hot Rock BBQ, it is the closest thing to a Samyupsal experience in Red Deer. The owner was gracious enough to show us how to properly bbq the meat , and bring out its flavor. Kimchi on the side is definitely a must. Will surely try again.
Third night in a row eating here. Korean bbq plate is amazing. Group of 5 all ordered the platter.
Bad service, and even worse food. God help you if you want a refill on your coffee, water or if youre in a hurry.
Hands down one of the best spots to eat out in Red Deer, the service was fantastic and the Bulgogi beef is to die for
First time at this restaurant. We went here because of the great reviews. Very nice atmosphere. Our server Ken was so cute and super friendly. We shared the Korean meat platter and it was delicious. We will definitely go again because we want to try a croffle
The chicken club was small and cold , server came back three times to tell us she would come back and take out order , we sat there for 25 minutes before we actually got to order meanwhile the table of guys who sat after us got multiple beers and their food AND bills before we got a refill of coffee
Delicious food, beef bulgogi was very tender. The chicken was quite juicy. Would recommend
Went for the first time a few weeks back. The chicken is unbelievable, breakfast hash bowl with hollandaise was really good. Service was great and overall was a great restaurant. One of my new favourites in town. They should add a food truck out front for when that new Silver Buckle opens up for the hungry drunks when they are shut down. Parking: Lots of parking Kid-friendliness: Really good for kids
What a unique place in Red Deer. Fried chicken croffle is definitely worth taking. Staff was so friendly
Coffee wasnt ready, had to wait for it to brew, toast never came out with breakfast waited on it as well. Meal was ok.
THE FOOD WAS SOOOO GOOD!! YOU CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH OF IT!
Was visiting friends and family in town and decided to pop in for a bite, I got the albertan with a cinnamon croffle. Honestly some of the best food, and the service was even better! Had the pleasure of being served by Shyla, she was knowledgeable, bubbly, very kind and helpful! 10/10 recommend trying this place out. :)
Beautiful/friendly waitress, great food, what more could you ask for?
Was in RD for the weekend and enjoyed dinner at the Local on Friday and Saturday. Very good food and great staff. Looking forward to going back!
A unique twist on waffles I presume but its super good. Have the Benedict waffle for breaky! It rocks!
Best place to get something to eat! Especially if you re staying at the Quality Inn right beside the restaurant. Great prices and great food
Amazing food!
I love this place. All of your servers are lovely to talk to, do their best and are very personable. Today, Shyla served us, and it was incredibly busy. We still got excellent service and the food was delicious! I had the bulgogi Benny and I enjoyed it so much I had to order another serving!!
Had the croffle and chicken. It was delicious and unique. I would like a little heat in the fried chicken but overall it was great. The reason for four stars is the fries that came with my meal were cold. They tasted good but cold. Also the restaurant was very cold. Not just a little chilly but uncomfortably COLD
The poutine here is the best I ve had in many years. The cheese to gravy to crispy fries ratio is perfect and way more than enough to fill me up. I ll be back and will recommend for sure. Great job!!
Best Eggs Benny Ive ever had!
Amazing food. Didnt do the stone cook cause it was already too hot out, but had a great meal for a great price. Kid-friendliness: Kids meals where cheap and you got a lot of food. Both kids got different things and didnt leave hungry at all.
2023: Been eating here regularly but for some reason, not very popular and very high turn over of servers. Most of them have been good enough, but last two young women were a bit snobbish and the service was disappointing. So bad I probably wont be visiting again at least for a while. They even charged us for hot sauce straight out of bottles, and tried to hide it by not giving us a copy. When asked for it, gave us an attitude. Even when we pointed it out, didnt take it off. No tip for you! They looked like they might have been used to serving drunken young men who hit on them rather than diners who just want decent food and pleasant service. Its like they are doing us a favor with their presence and we have to beg them for some service. Infuriating. Old review: Tried breakfasts and lunch since. Very good. Great service. At Opening: Pretty good foods. Good service. The beef BBQ was very good but the pork one was a bit dry. The portions were relatively small. Their potato thing called critto was interesting (like a spring roll filled with creamy cold mashed potato) wasnt my thing. Probably try different dishes next time and update the review.
The croffle waffle is sooo yummy with the crispy chicken on top
Just left here and the experience was not the most positive. Ill start off by saying the waitress we had was lovely and none of this is any fault of hers, But the food was disgusting minus the croffles. My husband and I both ordered the steak and croffles, the croffle itself was amazing but the steak was absolutely foul. It had a weird taste to it like it had been old and sitting in its juices too long and it was basically all fat. I could only stomach a few bites my husband had one bite and that was enough for him. We ordered my 3 year old bacon, and she absolutely loves bacon and she wouldnt even touch it. I tried a bite of it and I gagged and nearly puked, and im not being dramatic when i say it tasted completely foul and rotten and even the color was yellow, just did not look right. I feel sick knowing my 3 year old ate possible rotton meat. I addressed all of this with the waitress and she was very apologetic and tried to do what she could. Unfortunately all she could offer was $5 off because apparently the kitchen said we were expecting too much out of the steaks lol but for $20 a piece i expect it to be edible. Im extremely disappointed as we paid $6 for the bacon alone and no one could even stomach it. We all ended up leaving hungry and with a bill over $60 and I barely made it through my door before I got sick. Bottom line if you come here stick to the croffles and avoid any meat.
Food was good and service was excellent .
Cozy little spot waitress was lovely and the food was awesome!!! Crispy chicken and croissant waffles definitely new favorite spot!
Their food is so good. The server was prompt and friendly. You must try the cinnamon sugar croffle. I love all their restaurants. Parking: Huge parking lot
Korean fried chicken is the best kind of fried chicken. I havent had any I dont like, and I just found out they have All-You-Can-Eat crispy chicken on Monday and Tuesday. Their poutine is atrocious. The fries are awesome but their choice of cheese and their food-service powdered gravy ruins the whole thing. No vegetarian options are available. They have Toonie Thursday, except the items are $2.50 Parking: Hotel parking lot. Ample parking day or night, people shouting Howdy, neighbor!
LOVE everything Croffle House!! Chicken....crofffles....crittos.....beef....chicken......poutines......drinks.....desserts......have not ordered anything that has not been so so yummy!! And Sunday Brunch......TO DIE FOR FOLKS!! Please get to the Croffle House and let me know what you all think
The atmosphere and service in this little-known place was just excellent. The food was delicious with beautiful presentation. We will be back!!! Parking: There is ample parking Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome Wheelchair accessibility: Automatic doors
First time to experience this restaurant. I had the crunchy chicken and croffle. The presentation was awesome and the taste was so good! I never had korean food before and will absolutely going there again. The service was great!
The food was good. The portions were a bit smaller than expected but made up for that in taste. Friendly waitress, wish I had caught her name. A very chill environment.
Best hash-browns I ve ever had
I havent even eaten yet, but its Sunday morning, and Im wondering why this place is totally empty. It is a very welcoming, open and classy space, the menu looks absolutely wonderful and the majority of these reviews are glowing so far! Keep our unique restaurants alive Red Deer!
Whatever you guys are paying your server Cohen, it isn t enough. The man is an absolute gem. Absolutely hilarious, understands the assignment, commits to the bit, and didn t spit in my food when I accidentally called him Colon. 10/10
True 5 star experience. The restaurant was clean and warm, was greeted right away, and the food was incredible. Big standouts were that the service from Ken was so professional and attentive, its not a fine dining restaurant but he treated me and all his guests with the care and professionalism of a fine dining establishment, while being entertaining and personable. The Korean BBQ dishes were great, big portions, I ordered a spicy dish and it was definitely spicy! The croffles themselves are so good, and the fried chicken was awesome. Highly recommend this place!
So much fun! The food was fantastic- unique and delicious. We were here for breakfast and loved the croffles. You have to try these - a croissant had a baby in a waffle maker and the rest is history! Also tried the crittos- cheesy mashed potatoes in a spring roll with in-house spicy dipping sauce. We re definitely coming back. (Kids loved it too!) our server was delightful and the atmosphere was fun.
We got takeout and picked it up, even after having in the car for almost an hour while we drove home, it was amazing! Cant wait to go back and eat in, its a really nice restaurant inside, and the lady that helped us was awesome!
After having a negative experience I was impressed to be contacted by management and see an effort being made to rectify the situation. Thank you, I look forward to returning.
What a fantastic place! Real ham, perfect eggs, delicious croffle (of course). And its the right price! So delightful. Mike was our server and he was fantastic
Great food but a little pricey
Amazing delicious food, new favorite breakfast place. The Croffles are delicious.
The best breakfast in Red Deer, and the service was excellent. Definitely come and try the food here, its not just a gimmick, this is gourmet food at an insanely good price. A gem hidden in plain sight, with ample parking no less! If you are wondering what the heck a croffle is, its croissant dough cooked in a waffle iron. And dang... its so good, Im drooling just thinking back on it. I am definitely coming here again. If you dont know what to order, and are coming as a couple, here is what I recommend trying: get a pair of croffles, and a pair (or 3 if you are extra hungry) of croffle bennies configured as follows... croffles: a cinnamon-sugar with vanilla-fig topping, and a sugar with blueberry. bennies (all on plain croffle): mushroom spinach, and a tomato bacon. ALL of these were devine. The croffles are so tasty, and the hollandaise is done right. We were served by a tall fellow with dark hair, never got his name (or I would credit him here directly), and he was on point the entire time. Excellent excellent service and perfect timing; he even brought a water carafe for the whole table without asking, which is always very appreciated no matter where you go. IMO, its the little things that set places ahead, and this place and everyone in it is paying attention. There are other new breakfast places around, and Ive tried them too. This is the one to pick.
THE BASKET OF CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN SKIN!! Need I say more!? Well I can. The staff were super friendly. Great recommendations. We will be back!
I had a pretty unique meal that was also quite enjoyable. I would recommend it to others who want to try something a little different.
This place is amazing the food was soooo good and the service was friendly.
Excellent food and wonderful service!!
Its very good food. They didnt have hash browns when I was there so I got fries and they were soo good. Only problem I have is the use of wooden boards with no barrier between the food and wood, that is very unsanitary. Cant clean wood properly since it absorbs moisture. (coming from someone who has their food safety certificate) will be back but will be asking for my food on a plate.
Top shelf food every time! We love to eat here and support this great local business! Please do not hesitate to order or sit down for a Croffle!
Edited. My issue was addressed and resolved while we ate our delicious meal. Thank you for the prompt response.
This was my second time at Local Croffle House. The food was amazing the first time and was again! Being wing night was another major bonus. My girlfriend and I shared the chicken platter with a side of fries and wings to start. All cooked to perfection (battered boneless chicken thighs) and tasted so good. Plenty left overs! The server made us a really nice cocktail and was very attentive and friendly. If you haven t tried this place you should.
Horrible service. Waited for more then 1 hour for food. Came for brunch and it came later than lunch. Haven t tasted food yet so can t comment on that!
4 cause it was slow. But...server pleasant. Food, quite decent. Portions decent. The croffle thing is good, try it. The mashed potato filled spring rolls should have been Gods idea, they are great.
Amazing stop for a lunch! Great menu options and shareables. Loved the tea and such cool cups and pots! Very elegant atmosphere and welcoming to families. My little guy is a year old and he had a great time.
This is a wonderful spot that has a great selection of Korean and Western cuisine. The bulgogi croffle eggs benedict was absolutely fabulous.
Delicious food at an excellent price
Food was good but service is very slow. We waited almost an hour for our food to be served. Only one waitress working maybe same thing in the kitchen because it took a looooong time for the food to come to the tables. It wasn t a busy evening for them but still the service was very ssssllllloooooowwwww. This was our fourth visit but it s always very slow.
A unique breakfast option in Red Deer. The selection is limited however the price and quality are thus far unbeatable. Excellent coffee, service and a beautiful venut. If you are a fan of well presented food and variety this place gets a rare five stars from me.
Service this morning was exemplary! There was only ONE waitress doing all the feont of house and she totally ROCKED IT!!!! she has heart shaped glasses and shes super professional and very friendly. Shes the reason for the 5 stars. Other wise.it would have been 3.5 stars. Food was very hot, the croffles were good and the rest of the food was average.
Had the Eggs Benny two ways. Bulgogi Benny on a brown sugar croffle and a bacon tomato Benny on a cinnamon sugar croffle. Kristin had two different kinds of croffles as well. It was all very good
Great place. Amazing food and service. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Will definitely be back!!
First time here since the name change. My spouse had the Croffle and Chicken and liked the Croffle but thought the chicken was a little heavy on the breading. I had the Bulgogi triple plate and the spicing was great - just a little warmth in my mouth at the end. I had her Chicken and thought it was great.
Was in town for the weekend from Toronto. Had such phenomenal hospitality, major cudos to the front and kitchen staff for fantastic food.
Absolutely delicious. Best food I ve had all vacation and we toured Alberta. The fried chicken was some of the best I ve ever had, and the croffle (croissant pressed in a waffle iron) was amazing. Korean Pork Belly was perfectly spiced, and fries well seasoned as well. Many creative, home-made dishes. Portions are huge and prices reasonable. I recommend the Chicken & Croffle, or the Korean Pork Belly. Definitely going back for breakfast tomorrow.
The food was amazing !! The service was great ! Definately come back again!!
I love this place, best breakfast place in town.
I got to give a review of the breakfast we had this morning compliments of the Quality Inn, where we stayed last night We had a 9 am appointment and we went down for our complimentary hot breakfast. The hot breakfast is served at the Local Croffle House. Theres a daily choice for free or you can upgrade and pay the difference. Their name sold me on their house speciality Croffles. Its a rich butter crossiant dipped in a brown sugar simple syrup and then grilled lightly on a waffle iron. I chose blueberry topping which was clearly homemade with real whipped cream and a beautiful logo dusted onto the board with icing sugar. Honestly it was the best thing ever and if you have never tried this place out, its a must try! I got a side of bacon and Matt just wanted some hashbrowns which were both cooked to perfection and the hand cut potatoes were well seasoned and fresh! I give this place a 10/10
Excellent, excellent
This is a unique place for Red Deer. You should try it.
What a gem of a restaurant in Red Deer. A coworker and I were driving through for a work trip up to Edmonton and stopped in here. A neat fusion of Korean food and western food and it was awesome. I had their fried chicken sandwich and it hit the spot that night. The waiter who served us that night was also such a great host I wish I caught his name to give him kudos. 10/10 would come here again I wish they had this place in Calgary.
Always satisfied. Great food. Nice staff.
BAD EXPERIENCED with SKIP! Happened twice already my order came incomplete!!! I even called them after I placed my order in skip just to be sure but they did it again!!! SO DISSAPOINTED!!!!!!
Busy place. Slow service. Great food!!!
Good food, great service and nice atmosphere. Good selection on for that can satisfy almost everyones taste. Chicken was super crispy, Croffles were delicious and freshly made and definitely recommend their Crittos. The prices for the dishes were very reasonable. Well definitely go there and get try more items.
I get breakfast here because it s free when you stay at quality inn, next door. Yesterday morning I got a weird, super lightweight waffle thing, with a one egg omelette on top, and a solitary slim breakfast sausage, butterfly cut on top, to appear as two sausages. It was as much food as I like to see my 3 year old eat for breakfast. It tasted ok, but the portion size is WAY too small for an adult. I really wonder what eggs they use because it doesn t taste like eggs. Maybe powdered egg? Or some egg product that s not pure egg? The texture and taste are lacking. I had to get a second breakfast within an hour. Today I was told I get an egg sandwich and hash browns. So I was glad, because how can you fake an egg sandwich, right? Well, the folks here are very inventive. Just wait and find out. They brought me a diagonally cut egg sandwich, it appeared normal, and hash browns (only 7 hash browns, because potatoes are so expensive). I took a bite of the sandwich and couldn t taste eggs. Just raw crunchy vegetable.. I looked at the egg, and they ve very carefully folded a super thin layer of omelette back and forth over chopped cabbage, to get the thickness you d expect from an egg sandwich.. I think it s only one egg. And cabbage??? I guess it s super cheap filler. These guys are really cutting corners here. What comes first? An empty restaurant because the food sucks? Or the food sucks because of an empty restaurant? Conclusion: don t come her unless you re under 3 years of age, or you will be hungry one hour after leaving, so you can easily pop over to Burger King and get two breakfast sandwiches for only$5-6. Ps: the waiters seem to be friendly, I feel sorry for them. Management/owner seems to be a real cheapskate, and likes to sacrifice his business. Making super small portion size, flavourless eggs, and cheap fillers aren t fooling me. Anyone else?
We had a fair first experience here. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food and when we go it, it was room temperature at best. The server offered to have it remade (thank you) but we didn t have time to wait another 45 minutes. The food tasted good, albeit cold, so we finished our breakfast and will come back to give this place another shot. Hopefully out next experience will be better!
Poorly managed, took an hour before food came out. Manager appeared once and told staff to get it together then left... Jess, our server was an absolute rockstar, running around and doing everything while the other server basically stood there and talked to his one table the whole time. Food was a 10/10... staff was awesome.... but as a person with 10 years restaurant experience, that was painful to watch.
This is going to become a regular breakfast spot for us. We stayed at the hotel, so naturally ate our breakfast here. What an impressive menu, impressive food; and for an impressive price! $58 for four people, and we all left pleasantly full. Service was also beyond great. We will definitely be back, and will tell other people!
The food and service hands down is the best I have had in a very long time. The chicken was fried to perfection in the best batter I have Eve Mr had. It was crispy and light full of flavour and not incredibly greasy, the fried were crispy on the out side and fluffy on the inside. The server was incredibly friendly and handled our group of 9 like a true professional. The chef felt bad about serving a smaller peice of chicken so he brought out an extra peice on the house. These are true restauranteurs. Thank you for incredible experience I will definitely come back again!
Such a delicious breakfast at a very reasonable price! Loved the atmosphere too. Definitely a hole in the wall worth checking out
The food is awesome, excellent quality, and Shyla the server is great, fast and friendly. I highly recommend!
This place was amazing! I have been day dreaming about their chicken and croffel combo since I tried it, absolutely fantastic. Service was above and beyond and so was the food!
I tried spicy sweet chicken and BBQ chicken, it was excellent. Definitely going back again!! And staff let me know that they will serve breakfast from April. I think that it might be great as well!!!
I had the Club House and it was absolutely the best Clubhouse sandwich I have ever had. The fries are the thick cut crispy goodness!!! Cant wait to try the rest of the menu!!
Ordered the BBQ platter to share Good price. Amazing food. Excellent service.

Crypto? What is crypto?
Great food. Korean crispy chicken is amazing. Very flavorful, juicy and yummy. The house salad is very fresh and dressing is light enough to taste fresh vegetables.
My Croffle was so wet.
I didnt get any chicken skins.
Great noodles
Good food but they need some vegetable sides
The food was authentic and fantastic. The staff and owner are very friendly. They brought my food right to my room even before I asked because they said they wanted to make sure I got it while it was hot!
Amazing food. Best chicken crunchy croffle in town. You must try...
