I got the potato bacon soup and egg salad sandwich with my respected toppings top notch place super friendly and attentive and make it exactly how you want it give you lots of options to choose from for a great price.
Just found Picnic randomly looking for sandwich catering. They were able to accommodate our huge last minute order and have it ready in a few hours. Delicious food and the cutest little Ma and Pa restaurant!!!
It should be a crime to charge $1.25 for processed sliced cheese. The sandwiches are made with standard grocery ingredients, which makes the price highly overcharged (I ordered off Uber Eats). About $10 for a homemade style sandwich. However, the soup was flavoured / seasoned really well. I do think the price is almost worth it. It’s a solid soup and I would order again without the sandwich.
The soup was great just don't order the egg salad. It was waaaaaay too salty I almost puked! I really liked the bread they used it c ould have made for a really great sandwich.

Fresh! Wraps and sandwiches are located in fresh ingredients. The soup is great for a standard palette, but I prefer saltier(they're also great for ensuring there is salt and pepper in the bag!) Highly recommend for a fresh healthy lunch!

A little Mom and Pop shop. Simple but well executed food! This place deserves your business! The menu isn't huge, has simple everyday sandwiches and wraps with only a couple feature dishes. But all is well done! Kids had grill cheese sandwiches which came with soup, chips and a pickle. Reasonably priced! Soup has lots of fresh ingredients and is a hearty step up from a chain restaurant. The real treasure is in the Korean fusion dishes. We tried the Bulgogi quesadilla and we will be back just for that! Beef Barley soup was home made. Doesn't look fancy, but don't be fooled. This place is worth going to! Even better get food and go across the street and eat in the eating area. We'll done Red Deer!

Absolutely disappointing pricing. Just wanted a soup and Salad to take back to work$7.75 for 12 oz Mushroom Soup and $10.50 for a garden salad. Grossly, overpriced. Left without ordering.
A Deli to rival all Delis. Food is absolutely amazing and the owners are always super friendly and ready to prepare whatever it is youre looking to eat. Sooooo Good !!!!

Visiting from out of town...I had seen this place before but had always been a bit leery of it what with the homeless people around downtown on a weekend. But necessity called and we stopped in here. Sur...prize!!! The owners were friendly and very helpful (even providing reading glasses for my temporary use!) The restaurant was simple but they have a fairly extensive menu (but not like the big chain places...just a simple light meal, which is all we wanted) and the restaurant is very clean. Our food was very good, all made to order and seemingly not too much out of a can (my chicken soup, I ate every drop). I would be very happy to go back there any time, and next time were in Red Deer we probably will! I happily recommend it.

I had breakfast there the other day. I found it to be very good ! The couple there was very nice & welcoming. It s a place you d go for the lumberjack special, if you know what I mean. Just my 2 bits
