This is my go-to breakfast place in Red Deer. Excellent food (you will not leave hungey), the service is off the chart, and the place itself is like stepping back in time. I would recommend this to anyone in the city or passing through to stop in.

Will be back! Wonderful customer service, food served quickly. Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with there soup which were both a 5/5 Caesar salad was your basic. and the toasted Denver was definitely missing something. But was still good especially with the soup but Adding cheese lettuce and some sort of sauce (maybe mayo) Would upgrade it substantially but other wise it was good. Reason for the 4/5: coffee was very bland and watery. finding a local coffee roaster and maybe learning a few things about coffee would make it a lot better and would be a quick fix. Milkshake is alright upgrading to using real fruit and using vanilla ice cream as a base instead of the artificial flavoured ice cream you can buy at whole sales would be awesome though.

This is a go to breakfast place for my family when we are in town. Wish you guys were open longer hours lol

EXCELLENT Diner!!! My husband travel thousands of miles a year on road trips, and Queen s Diner had one of the best breakfasts I have eaten! Plus the service was exceptional (best waitress ever)!! If you re looking for a diner, we give this one the highest recommendation possible.

-Amazing food -Very cool atmosphere the only thing missing is the 50s/60s style jukebox with a $.10 option to pay for a couple songs and have it turned up instead of the normal radio station! -the service was just ok. The waitress needs a lesson in etiquette as she kept asking us over and over if we needed another minute to decide! Even though we had our menus in front of our faces! Besides that the overall experience was fantastic!!

I stopped in here for lunch during the week on my travels because of the high ratings. This place is very retro, cosy and colorful. The waitress was very friendly and approachable. I had the loaded burger which isnt listed on the menu but is called The Princess and it was delicious. So was the homemade soup I had on the side. What made my experience was when I went to pay and she gave me a special callout at the till to the whole restaurant! Lol

Soup?! Yes, soup! That was a suggestion our party didnt regret! Everything was delicious, service was exceptional and we felt like home, even though we come from a different country all together. The place is a gem, unique and very cozy!! No food pictures just coz once we tasted it, we didnt think of anything else.

Neat atmosphere, for a small space the layout is very efficient. Staff is great, prompt and quick when busy and friendly with time to visit when it s not. Reasonably priced food, great portions and great taste. Definitely worth a trip to check it out!

Little pricy by the time you add a coffee to your meal, but a good sized portion for the basic breakfast with bacon. Hash browns were a bit underwhelming but they were also the first batch off the grill and I was early, so they might have needed a bit more time. Parking: Lots of parking

The decor is kitschy and all that but the food was honestly quite bad and overpriced. Had to send my coffee back because it was so weak it just tasted like hot water and had to go hunting for ketchup on my own all over the restaurant as the waitress didn t ask. Breakfast was very bland. Was still charged for the coffee. Also only had the option of tipping a minimum of 18% which always crosses me. 15% not good enough for you? $20 for basic breakfast. Sorry, gotta call em as I see em. Not good.

Another five star review for another 5 star experience. This place is great tasting and QUICK. The diner is set up in a old rail car and its nice and retro inside.

I quite often have lunch here, it s close to my office and shop. But the real attraction is the staff who welcome you like Family, and the amazing cooks who make everything from scratch including the soup every day. The effort that they all put into the menu and and the friendliest restaurant keeps me going back. I have never had a meal here that wasn t amazing no matter how simple it was. Every day the soups are made from love and fresh ingredients, and that is obvious in the quality and taste of the dishes they serve.

Very friendly staff. Stayed open for us as we didnt know they closed at 2. They were very good with my son. Food was amazing. You expect diner food, but this was just cooked better. Typical options just made with more care. We stumbled accross this place after a 2 hour drive. Id glady drive 2 hours again for there BLT. Kid-friendliness: Very accomidating

Great, quiet little diner hidden on the north end of town. Service is always excellent, especially Fran, shes an amazing server. Always has a smile on her face. She even brings us out ice water for our dog on these hot summer days. Food is always good, have no complaints. Thank you for the amazing service.

We love finding little off the wall places when we are away from home this place is a very well kept secret in reddeer I definitely will be back Had the pancakes for breakfast with a side of bacon The bacon was crispy and not over done The pancakes where massive the only thing I wish was I had more maple syrup lol Would strongly recommend trying this place for your self

Sometimes in the summer Queens Diner will host a drive inn movie, with the Diner serving along with a Rock A Billie band...again the host and waitresses step up to make sure everyone is served with a smile and a friendly thanks that you come again. This isn t where you go if you are sticking to a strict diet. The food is what you would expect at a diner, deliciously greasy! I ve been many times and the only teeny whine I have, is that the Rueben was a bit too greasy. Everything is always yummy and the service is superb! PS: Make sure to tell them that this is your first visit if they don t ask...

This place just oozes cool both inside and out! My son and daughter in law took us there for lunch on the last day of our trip to Red Deer (we drove up from Hamilton, Ontario to attend their wedding). He said we absolutely HAD to check it out because it reminded him of another restaurant wed go to all the time back in Ontario. As soon as we rolled up, my jaw nearly hit the ground! Neat old cars and trucks are parked outside a wicked art deco style garage, complete with gas pumps, lamp posts and a chalk outline on the door. After we took about a zillion pictures outside, it was time to go inside that beautiful old train car and get something to eat. I couldnt wait to see what it looked like inside! Wow. Just wow! It was all shiny chrome, Formica and autographed memorabilia. I wasnt born til the 70s but it was exactly like Id imagine the old diners from the 50s would look like. Squeaky clean too. So my son an that he brought in a few virgins from Ontario and immediately we all started with the jokes lol. Our waitress shouted to the other staff and the patrons that we were about to pop our cherries and we were handed a guest book to sign. My entry is dated June 4th if youre into corny puns lol. Anyway, the food was delicious and the portions were huge, the price was affordable and the ambiance was amazing. I loved our waitress too, she was hilarious! Best. Diner. Ever. Two forks up!
