6300, Red Hook, St Thomas 00802, U.S. Virgin Islands
Located on the east end next in Red Hook next to the ferry dock, overlooking the water. A family-friendly restaurant offering refreshing drinks and great bites. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
This was one of the best dinners I've had on vacation anywhere! The staff was perfectly friendly and kind to our large group of 12. They adjusted the dining room in a matter of moments to accommodate our party. We ended up in a nice large seating area towards the back of the restaurant. It was right in front of the harbor with a great view of the ocean and extensive views of the sky and shores. Our waiter explained the menu and specials very clearly and answered all questions anyone had with perfect clarity. Lots of great sounding items on the menu so choosing was hard. My lady and I decided to go with the order several items and share plates strategy because we are both foodies that enjoy the variety of the menu. Everything was exquisite my personal favorite was the jerk chicken stew (my brother got a second bowl to go) but couldn't find anything we ordered that wasn't well above par. The staff here were so friendly that we honestly didn't know who our server was by the end of the night. They all just helped each other and treated our party with a welcome feeling of hospitality. They had no issue splitting the bill or taking the orders separately like other places we dealt with on the trip. This is a 5 across the board. Stop here for sure, I highly recommend this one.
My husband & I came to Tarpons Table from a recommendation of a local bartender. We had breakfast and were happy with the food & overall service. My husband had the egg, toast & bacon plate with coffee & I had their French toast.
Customer service was good. Dishes came out in good time. The food was decent in taste. The fish in the tacos, as well as the fried whole snapper, needed more herb seasonings. The fish tacos were too spicy. The snapper was fried too dry. The portion size for the snapper dish was also small.
We were looking for a place with good fish & chips and a view. Tarpon's Table, hit all the marks. They had a great view of the docks, nice breeze. The food was outstanding. The fish and chips were Mahi Mahi and cooked perfectly. While we were dining, we watched them unload a fresh basket of Spiny Lobster off a boat and carry them into the kitchen. So we ordered a smaller one. It was excellent! The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. We will absolutely come back here again.
We came here for breakfast on our first full day Red Hook and breakfast was outstanding. Our server did an exceptional job. The coffee was great. The morning atmosphere sitting out by the edge of the water couldn't be better. There are Tarpon just below the dock you sit out over that you can watch while you eat breakfast. Hence the name. It's close to the port if you want to catch the ferry to St John. It's the best breakfast we've had in town since we've been here a week.
Came here upon recommendation from the captain on our fishing charter. BEST. RECOMMENDATION. EVER. Definitely a must go to. We brought in rainbow runner and they prepped it better than anywhere else I’ve been. Our whole family loved it. Service was fast, they constantly checked on us and the location was great. Highly recommend you come here! Beware…them drinks are legit!
The food is tasty and the view is amazing. I wouldn’t say atmosphere is relaxing due to tourists being busy coming from and to the ferries and snorkeling boats (and therefore waiters also very busy), but overall experience is good and the local fish was also great. The waiter went out of the menu and made a cappuccino for me, that was really nice.
Service was quick and super friendly, location is prime for folks arriving by ferry, and there’s plenty of room! We were having dinner here at the end of the day and the owner came out with scrap fish to feed the tarpon and sharks swimming under the dock and it made for an excellent show! The food was good but not exceptional — the fish and chips were good, the pulled pork sandwich was kind of dry, the whole snapper was good, we enjoyed sharing the mussels, and the grilled swordfish with the lump of crab was underwhelming in size for the price. Overall good experience.
By FAR our best experience during our stay. The owner is super friendly and the food was delicious. My kids got to feed the fish, and the service was awesome.
Convenient location, great harbor view, fun wait staff, Good menu choices.
The place looks good and the server did her best but the food was not up to our expectations, also the little bugs called noseeum attacked us badly! We left without finishing our food ( that was 5 days ago) and we are still receiving treatment from these bites!!
Rib eye and mash potatoes 10/10 best steak I ever had!
It was me and my girlfriend and our awesome service by Logan the chef he came and talked to our table had some of the best fish I ve ever had on island. Thank you for your service and grateful.
The service was swift and terrific. The food was great, and feeding the tarpon on the harbor was great fun! Kid-friendliness: He took pour 3 year old to the dick to feed the fish. Everyone was really friendly.
This is the best lobster you can get in St Thomas and the best prices. And the muscles were over the over the top. Service is amazing and waterfront. This is my favorite
Good outdoor covered dining. Service was good, and the food was good.
Great seats at the edge of the patio right on the dock for views. The bar has a ton of TVs for any games that may be on. The tacos (both fish & pork shoulder) were exceptional, highly recommend!
Excellent, nice view, good food, I asked for a personalized dish to my liking and they pleased me just as I asked, the service Excellent, I loved the water, it sounds strange but it tastes totally different, its the brand (san benedetto) in the bottle! Recommended!
Food was just ok, but service and atmosphere were great.
What an amazing experience to find Tarpons Table! The service was great, tbe owner was a manager before owner, & we had fresh lobster right off the boat for dinner!! Twice in one day says ALOT!!! He even fed tbe tarpon while we dined & invited all guests to join!! Ill def be back!!
Adam and Kaitlyn were on top of every little detail. The food was outstanding. Definitely will be back!
The grilled lobster was amazing and the grilled asparagus was a perfect complement. Caitlin was my server and she was very good, attentive but not bothersome. The hostess and bar staff were friendly and welcoming. Soft music and the moonlight on the water made for a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend
Lobster was amazing. The drinks were great and the service super attentive. Recommend!
Was in the area and decided to stop by. Food was good , fresh and flavorful!!! Adam was amazing and kept making sure we were taken care of . Located by the ferry and off the water. Strong drinks as well!
We stopped in with a party of 8 at lunch time. We were greeted and seated quickly. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied they even prepared deep fried key lime pie for dessert. Amazing!!!
Amazing staff and food, whether its the amazing breakfast or dinner......YOU CANNOT GO WRONG!
1st night, they did not have power. Yet, they tried to seat us. It was dark. We left. 2nd night, the manager (plump white man with black framed glasses & med brown hair) stated they had power. I asked if he was short-staffed. He said, No. We observed him grumbling with a plump-sized, short-haired waitress about complaints of poor service. He sat us with the same waitress. We placed a drinks order which never came. We tried to give her our food order. She said shed be right back. She never came back. After 20 mins., we got up to leave. The manager asked why we were leaving. I explained. He, then, followed us down to the street arguing with me. I said, Listen, Im just taking my cues from you. Youre not happy with this waitress. Were not either. Were hungry & thirsty and dont want to be held hostage at a table without any food or beverages. He belted out some rude comments & turned back toward the restaurant. No need to return. Go to Carribbean Saloon a few doors down, upper level. Many great menu options, great prices, great service, very tasty food. Beautiful views!
Everyone was so pleasant. The food was good and our kids got to see Tarpon feeding.
Hannah is the literal best! By far the best service we ve received all week. Food was great, live music, bottomless mimosas!
Hannah is the BEST!!!!!! This food is delicious, shell split the checks, shes super fair with the bottomless rule and the view is chefs kiss. If you see yourself sitting at XO, get up and walk across the street with a place with some sunlight! Definitely recommend this place! Also theres live music sometimes!
Amazing service and delicious breakfast..the pancake are a must too..
Wasn t blown away by our experience here. It was pretty dead when we stopped by, yet service was still subpar. The menu seems pretty misleading with some items. It s a decent place to stop for lunch or grab a cocktail. Views and atmosphere are great.
The Food was ok....Came for breakfast. What we got didnt resemble the menu pictures. Alittle pricey. Quality could be alittle better. The View was Great though!
Best place yet steak is to die forrr and the mango cheesecake
I can t even give stars for the service or food because both were terrible. No service at all, I asked for salt and waited 10 minutes for it and in the end my daughter had to go get it all the way from the front of the resultant herself, the waiter didn t give anything. It was pretty much a serve-your-self place. The grouper was stinky. Tables were filthy, garbage from the party before us was still there and we wanted to sit at a different table, and weren t allowed to move tables!! Overall I really wouldn t recommend this place, I came here based of the reviews and I can t believe they are giving more then 1 star.
This was our first time dining at Tarpoon. The staff was very accommodating, the food was amazing and the service was over the top. A restaurant you want to eat at when in St Thomas.
What a amazing dinning exp this was! This is my wedding trip and i told my wife , im leaving her at the alter and coming back for another feeding! Food was amazing , people were great then getting to feed the tarpons. Chefs kiss. Thank you for a amazing exp.
The establishment offers a delightful dining experience with a lively ambiance. My daughters particularly enjoy visiting the restaurant. The live music, delectable cuisine, and exceptional customer service contribute to an overall positive experience.
So we did an excursion and the boat dock let off right at the restaurant. We read the reviews and they seemed good. We were seated right away, during a slow time as seen in the pictures. We ordered the SHRIMP REMOULADE & GUACAMOLE as an app. Our waitress brought it out and it had under 10 chips for dipping, which was annoying. I had to ask for more chips for 18 dollars we shouldn t have to ask for more it should be there. After that I had SHRIMP POBOY and my wife had ENSENADA FISH TACOS both were alright but nothing special. My son had a GRILLED BURGER and my daughter had Chicken Tenders both they said were ok. It s definitely a tourist trap in its location to the dock and the ferry. Overall it s ok but nothing special. The bathroom was clean. Kid-friendliness: Somewhat ok
I thought this place was great. The service was on point , the food was excellent. The outdoor seating was very relaxing. Id definitely go back
Great atmosphere and food. So glad we stopped in. Everyone s food was delicious! Kid-friendliness: Super easy and kind to all my kids. They even got to feed the fish.
Great food, great service and a great price.
Great people & amazing food! Grouper fish tacos and fish and chips are on point! Oh and beer is really cold!
Great hot wings! Came here for a bit to eat before catching the cat barge to St Thomas. Deck has great views. Plenty of boats a tarpon to watch if you get a seat by the water. The jottings were excellent. Some broken bones, but saucy and spicy - sort of like Nashville Hot
Visited St. Thomas for the first time and stopped here for brunch. Everything was a 10/10. We were waited on by Jimmy who was absolutely amazing! He made sure we had everything we needed . The food was fresh and delicious . The portions were big for the pricing which was awesome . We fed the Tarpon s after we ate, which was a great experience ! Idefinitely recommend this place if you visit st. Thomas :)
We had breakfast here before we left the island on our last day. Food was absolutely delicious and we will be back again without hesitation!!
A nice open air restaurant right on the Redhook Marina. It is a nice place if not a bit worn around the edges. The food and service were good.
We sat at another breakfast place a few 100 yards away for 50 min and got up and left. Walked in here to smiles and great food and service. Fantastic all the way around.
TERRIBLE My wife and I do not cook. We eat out more than I d like to admit. This was by far the worst experience in terms of service, I have ever had. Got the island burger which was literally just a regular burger and it was pretty undercooked and I was never asked how I wanted it. Servers were so rude. Will never be back. Will never recommend.
Worst dining experience I ve ever had. Undercooked burger literally raw. Extremely rude service. This is my 1st one star review I ve ever wrote and I never planned on doing it but it was that bad.
Snapper was great.
Five stars for the fish tacos!! Would get them again and again. Quick service and beautiful views. Kid-friendliness: We brought our 16 month old and they were great with him! High chairs available
Nice place sitting on the marina. We ordered the hot wings but they tasted like Korean sweet and spicy with a little bit of hot. I was not a fan. They werent gross, just not my taste palette. Im pregnant, so I ordered a virgin strawberry daiquiri which was pretty good.
Came in breakfast was good food came out quick our server Amanda was polite and made great drinks.
Biscuits and gravy tasted like fish.
Food and drinks were great. Not cheap but good.
Reviews here were good and wanted to try something new. The views were correct and we were glad we got a cab and made the trip. We arrived at 830 and no wait. Earlier was busy we were told. I had the Poke bowl and loved it. My wife and a friend had the grouper. It was good but just warm and wished it was a little more in the hotter. Just to full to try the desserts but all sounded great. Maybe next time. We saw the fish and chips at the table next to us and they looked great.
Good food and reasonably priced for being at the dock.
Brunch is a must! Food is really really good and affordable with live music it s a really great place to hangout.
We were very disappointed in the food, the service, and the table surface was sticky. The staff was not personable and we left hungry after eating 2 bland entrees. After we went across the street to Marlenes. We were greeted by an amazing bartender who helped us celebrate my husbands birthday. We had amazing food and spent the next two hours there, enjoying the atmosphere.
I rarely leave reviews, and Im usually not picky, but I was disappointed by this place. Atmosphere was the best part. It s nice by the water but we were at a cheaper bar earlier that had better views. Service was so-so. The staff seem nice, but probably just busy. The food is where my main disappointment lies. Now, I came into St. Thomas ready to be unimpressed by the food here, but this was a bit much for a nicer spot. We had the crawfish mac, which actually was pretty good. Then I had the steak which chimichurri (even though they were out of chimichurri and I had garlic butter instead, fine) but the steak itself was half fat. Im not talking like taking a bite and having a bunch of fat around your steak, Im talking like 4oz of the steak was straight fat without even a sliver of meat. I had to cut the whole thing off, which left me with half a steak (again usually not picky but this was inedible and ridiculous that they would even leave that much fat on a steak!) I was paying for mostly fat because even the other half of my steak was half meat, half chewy fat. The sides were fine, would be better with the chimichurri. My husband got the fish and chips and said it was fine, nothing special. All in all, disappointed in my meal but still a fun night out
Wonderful breakfast in a quiet little hideaway on Red Hook Marina. We will be back!
Great place for a laidback dinner, the fish and chips and fish tacos were really good. We sat right the dock and saw the tarpons, we even got to feed them! It was definitely a great experience and would come back.
As we were walking to our table, Amanda mentioned that she was bored. After being seated at our second table(1st one was uneven) we asked questions about the menu and we could see the frustration in her face and she excused herself to get another tables beverages. I saw her vaping at the large high top table. We ordered the Shrimp Guacamole n crawfish Mac & cheese which was good. The fish tacos was good, the beef burger was charred a lil too much to eat, the grouper special was also good. The server had left the serving plates for both apps in addition to the plates we used to eat from on the table while were trying to eat our main meals along with condiment box . Our overall experience was average at best!!
A quick bite on a Sunday afternoon did not disappoint. Placed at a waterfront table, service was attentive, and the food was great.
Food is mediocre at the best. We got fish tacos and poke bowl. Fish tacos batter was very oily and had no flavor/seasoning whatsoever. Poke bowl was just okay. The table was for some reason very sticky. The service was good and the food arrived promptly. Waste of $50.
Open air, casual but nice, the staff is friendly and attentive, and yummy, affordable food. Plus, they even make a good dirty martini!
Seated immediately, service was friendly and fast. Had the opportunity to watch people feed the tarpons. Food was amazing! Open air restaurant right on the dock. Get fresh catches just off the boat. Definitely recommend for couples, families, and groups of people. Parking: Park at the ferry parking lot.
Right on the water and the Tarpon are swimming right below you. Jump into Ocean Safari and grab some food to hand feed them. Menu is a bit spars but the food was great. Great service as well.
Waitress was very rude. Food was ok & service was not good
My fish tacos were the best restaurant food I had all week on St. Thomas. Natalie was an attentive server. And what s not to love about a dock-side restaurant?
Great place for fresh fish dishes. Some items a little pricey.
This waterfront gem will not disappoint. Right on the water at the marina in Red Hook, you will find the atmosphere to be island oriented with upscale food. We had fresh fish as well as hand helds and everyone was thoroughly satisfied with their choice. To exceed our experience, our server Amanda went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was exceptional. Whether you are island hoping, day tripping or just enjoying Red Hook, Tarpon Table is a must.
Great spot to grab dinner! Good atmosphere. Owner/manager seems very nice. Catch of the day was 10/10.
Tarpons Table has the breakfast on the island and the best pain killer to top it off. We cant wait to come back for dinner.
We were sat quickly, everything came at a great pace and the waitress checked back often. Food was great, had the SHRIMP REMOULADE & GUACAMOLE, GRILLED SWORDFISH W/ CRAB (had a good amount of crab) and ISLAND BURGER (only negative is either they forgot the grilled pineapple, I was expecting a piece of pineapple, or it is just a spread that they put on) Would go again!
Awesome seafood, highly recommend!
Solid spot but nothing spectacular. We visited for breakfast and the portions were huge. Omelet was good but the potatoes were quite al dente. I was so full from the huge omelet that I wasnt disappointed to not eat the potatoes. The location is fun, its nice to watch the boats and check out the tarpon.
Cool place
Great place for breakfast right on the water . Friendly service with great views If you are looking for more than just bagel sandwiches for breakfast, check out Tarpons Table Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan/health conscious foods and drinks Parking: Plenty of spots on the street available at breakfast Kid-friendliness: High chairs and plenty of kid friendly foods on the menu
Best food we have had on st Thomas and st john combined. Reasonably priced. Excellent service. Great location. Absolutely recommend.
Excellent breakfast. The coffee was delicious. And the staff was very nice. It s a beautiful view of the marina. Parking: We paid $15 for parking across the street on top of the hill. Because it was a Saturday
Cute restaurant. I had the crawfish mac and cheese. It was pretty good. The menu is pretty small. Not that many options. It s a nice location right on a marina.
Food was great, highly recommend the poke bowls but the service and location is what makes this place. Trevor the owner was so personable and happy to show you the tarpon that hangout underneath and was willing to chat with each and every customer. Must stop if you re in red hook! Kid-friendliness: Was great with the kids, even let them feed the fish
Went here for breakfast. Banana foster pancakes were really good and the service was great! Its walking distance from ferry terminal too.
very cute water side joint with great vibes and food and drinks. The server messed up our drink order but the owner/manager was super helpful in fixing it and gave us free dessert. The food was reasonably priced and delicious - we got the catch of the day and the crawfish mac and cheese, super satisfied with everything.
Great poke bowls!
Not terrible!
Wow, what a pleasant surprise... Kenny, the chef , made the best steak I have had in the Virgin Islands... (Of course eating out, the steak at home is epic)... Blows away the bigger more expensive places.. a very large grilled ribeye is $38... Unbeatable.... Service is very nice, Susan the bartendress is attentive and smiling.. my lunch guest had a ceaser salad with grilled shrimp and anchovies.... Yummy.... Highly recommended... A definite do not miss restaurant in Red Hook....
We came to Tarpon s Table while on vacation and I had the best swordfish of my life here. Normally swordfish eats like a steak but somehow they managed to make it light and almost flakey with jumbo lump crab meat on top. In addition to great food, you get a bit of a show when people feed the tarpon that hang out just off the deck. Highly recommend.
Great seafood and accommodating hosts / servers. Great location right next to the docks and ferries.
We had to the Sunday brunch with live band. Everything was excellent.
Great place to have dinner, drinks, and look at the water. They do have a bar if you re looking to watch the game (NFL). Food was great (fish and chips)
This place is excellent. Great service and great food. Ignore the ridiculous 2 star review and go eat there.
Enjoyed a delicious brunch overlooking the marina! On a Wednesday morning, Tarpon s Table was uncrowded. We enjoyed the avocado toast, French toast, and coffee - all were delicious. Service was quick and the ambiance was calm and serene. Highly recommend for brunch!
The food was great and the location is amazing!! We had Poke bowl and lettuce wraps and they were both great!
Phenomenal! Delicious food, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere. Loved all of the menu items I tried. Cant wait to go back!
Great food
The guys and girls here are awesome. They saw me looking at menu and right away said are there allergy issues we can help you with?! They go out of their way to make you want you want! They will change or add almost anything on the menu without making you feel odd for all your dietary requests. They are awesome people and the food, and atmosphere is unbeatable! I ate there 3 nights out of seven on the islands! Kristine Duby Kid-friendliness: The kids can watch the tarpon in the water go crazy when fisherman bring in their catch of the day and throw the leftover scraps to tarpon in water! Keeps kids entertained!
Awesome place to dine, food was delicious and the service was incredible!! If you are in Redhook, dont miss Tarpons Table!!!
We came here for lunch after a day of fishing and brought some fish we caught to eat. They explained that they were pretty busy so they couldn t do a full blown meal with our fish, but they made us tacos which were incredible. They were so accommodating and so kind when we came in on short notice and made arrangements for us. The food was incredible and the service was great. They said they had just opened about 5 weeks ago too. I don t think they will have any trouble with keeping business being as amazing as they are. Highly recommend coming here! We are from Ohio and the owner ended up being from Michigan, but we won t hold it against him. He was awesome!
The menu is limited but perfectly executed. No need to offer a hundred mediocre items when a few amazing ones will suffice. Eat here, drink here, you will not be disappointed.
Excellent pork belly tacos. They have breakfast too!
Great breakfast place. Biscuits are awesome, best tasting eggs on the island. Ellie was friendly and on top of things. Trevor kept things moving even when busy. The view of the boats and the water completed the experience. Parking was easy on the street and there is the ferry garage right across the street. Don t forget to feed the tarpon while you are there. Strongly recommend.
While visiting St. Thomas we ate breakfast here the most. Its on the water with a great view. Sub out the toast for biscuits as they are awesome. The pork debris and egg nachos are awesome. Usually found easy parking on the street in front. There are tarpon in the water that you can feed right off the dock. Overall, its a great place to eat.
The staff are great and the food is delicious. really cool atmosphere right on the water with nice plants around the building
My wife and I shared the Crawfish Mac and Cheese for a appetizer and it was fantastic. We then ordered the catch of the day Mahi and it was wonderful. The service was great and I can t wait to get back.
I can only speak for breakfast but our whole party had great food. The avocado toast, and the Banana s Foster pancakes were amazing. Great location as well.
Excellent food and service! We will go again!
Great food, recommend it.
Food is excellent. Service is excellent. Excellent view. Big fans to move air to keep you cool. I did the breaded pork sandwich special sandwich for the day. My wife had the catch of the day which was Mahi Mahi. It was night time so the picture don t do Justice.
Nice water views. Nicer atmosphere than most of the bar/grill restaurants in red hook. Pork belly and watermelon salad was the best item we ordered.
Where should I begin? The atmosphere at Tarpons Table is very island with pleasant views of the marina. Clean and organized layout. Open air but very well ventilated. Staff is professional and courteous. Now to the important stuff. I had their pork shoulder last week and it was excellent. Thought I would try the steak this time. First of all they put a steak knife on the table after I ordered the steak. It was a real steak knife not serrated like other steak houses but a razor sharp knife. Only once before have I had such a knife and that was at the Chicago Chop House. The steak was much better than described. Cooked like a true steak house would prepare it. Delicious, tender seasoned very well. I prefer rare. The sides were also prepared to perfection. Its about the food! Its about the service! And the prices are extremely fair. 6 stars!
Super involved owner and has a great staff of workers. Stop by and support this local business.
New restaurant with amazing food, a real hidden gem. Staff very well informed, food quality was excellent and great views of boats on the marina. Owner personally came to say hello
The service is great. Adam was an amazing host. The view is great. What a place, coming here every day!
Very good food
Tranquil, waters edge dining with friendly service. A perfect way to end a bustling day on the island.
I had a great experience for lunch while sitting at the bar. The bartender was very nice and extremely welcoming. I ordered the crawfish Mac and cheese as well as the shrimp po boy. Wow. The mac and cheese is AMAZING and was perfect. I didn t get a picture because I could not stop eating it. The shrimp po boy reminded me of an actual po boy you d get along the gulf coast. The bread was perfect, the remoulade was on point and the l,t,o was cut fresh you could tell. I can t forget that the shrimp were massive and cooked perfectly. I will be going back soon I know that. Well done!
Catch of the Day: 2/5 Poke bowls: 3.5/5 Pork Belly App: .5/5 Could have been our luck but not impressed at all with the food. Service was great and view is neat.
This place absolutely crushes. They cook the fresh fish you catch (or don t catch) and it s amazing. Prompt, friendly service and drinks are very fairly priced. They handled our hard-to-handle table of 9 like a champ. Live music here too. Thank you Susan and Trevor!
Fantastic! Great food, service, and sites!!
Great food - amazing atmosphere - Ellie, Trevor and Adam are the best Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, my getaway car
Tarpon s Table has a great ambiance on the Red Hook Marina serving up comfort food and cocktails. The Bushwacker and Piña Colada hit the spot on a hot day. Also highly recommend the poke bowls. Great experience overall.
Newer restaurant in Red Hook. Good drinks. Yummy.mac & cheese
Nice service and cool to watch fish and sharks but food was average
The best brunch on Sunday. The avocado toast is soooo good, but even better when you add salmon to it
We have enjoyed Tarpon Table a few times. This place has a great atmosphere right at the foot of P dock at American Yatch Harbor. The atmosphere is great, good service, and the food is delicious. Weve enjoyed the mahi Blbowl, the fried chicken sandwich, the hamburger, and the ribeye steak. The riveted has always been exceptional. They also have a good drink menu and make really good mixed drinks. Parking: Parking in Red Hook is atrocious. Get there early because you may be looking for a while. Wheelchair accessibility: They do have a ramp for wheelchair access.
Definitely party vibe with decent food and drinks.
We had an excellent breakfast our first day on the island, and decided to go back for dinner later in the week. The vibe and views of the sailboats were top notch, the staff was amazing, the owner was super friendly and were wonderful with our two kids! And, the food was great both breakfast and dinner!
Absolutely amazing food, service and atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much for dinner that we visited the next day for lunch.
Great spot right in Red Hook. We had a great time sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartender. End your meal with the cheesecake!
Nothing special about this place. Service was slow with only 1 other table in dining room at time of visit. Food was average.
The bananas foster pancakes were amazing and the service was awesome! I recommend coming here!
Awesome place for breakfast/brunch right on the marina. Service was great
Worth to visit, calm restaurant / bar complex heart of the Red hook
Cloey was amazing, and the best fish tacos I ve ever had!
My husband, 3 yr old daughter and I had a nice dinner at tarpon s table last week! We were originally seated at a table that was as far as possible from the water and looked straight into the mangroves (which is not a very nice view basically just garbage and murky water). Since a big reason we came to TT was for the view over the water, I asked the waitress if we could move and she was very nice about reseating us at a table in the middle of the deck but closer to the water with a much better view. We didn t realize this when we came, but the restaurant is aptly named there are actually a TON of tarpon right off the deck, and they keep a couple lights on near the dock so you can really see them well. Our daughter LOVED this and it met her well entertained until the food arrived. As for the food, we shared a delicious appetizer that had fresh tomatoes, avocado and shrimp, and for dinner my husband had the poke bowl and I had the stuffed lobster. My lobster was a little rubbery and lacked flavor, but the andouille stuffing was amazing, and my husband really enjoyed his poke bowl! Our waiters were excellent and super friendly/helpful overall highly recommend as a nice, casual and family-friendly spot in Red Hook. You can also park in the YHG parking lot which is convenient, since parking is very limited in this area!!
This was the best meal of our entire vacation. We caught fish with Oceans Surfari and they made a 4 course meal out of our catch that was amazing. Creative presentation, great flavor. Do it.
Go! Just do it y all! Great meal. My family went out deep sea fishing with ocean surfari and after their catch this place cooked it up for us! One of the best experiences of our vacation. These are the dishes they made with the fish my family caught. So good!
Food is limited, but pretty good. I had the shrimp poboy which was good; my friend had the poke which was not great. A surprise hit was the pork belly and watermelon appetiser, which was quite surprisingly awesome. Biggest downside is nothing on tap. All beers are cans.
Had an hour to kill before catching the Westin ferry - Great food and wonderful atmosphere ..The bartender Adam is incredibly friendly ! Would 100% go back
Great food and view. The bar tender Brooke was very friendly and provided great service
Love the Bar Staff very funny and chilled good breakfast choices, quick to get you on the St.John ferry! Vegetarian options: Avocado Toast, Smoked salmon toast and the Yogurt bowl
Good relaxing atmosphere on the docks. No wait for us good food.
Best breakfast my husband and i have ever had! We were in town from Monday-Saturday and we came here for breakfast everyday except one because it was too early for them to be open! The breakfast is unreal, from the yogurt bowl, the coffee, the traditional, the biscuits, the pancakes, just amazing! The service here is also amazing, and the people who work there are the nicest! We loved this place so much and going to breakfast here was a highlight of our trip!
I m a pretty tough food critic, but the food here is incredible. The service is excellent as well. We stumbled upon this place while waiting for the ferry and were able to be in and out in half an hour. The atmosphere was great, and everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly and personable. Will absolutely be back.
Great restaurant. Right on the water. Trevor, the owner was our server. Great guy. Crawfish mac & cheese is a real winner. Lobster was delicious and good value. Fish tacos good too. Nice drinks. Good luck to Trevor with his new endeavor.
Had breakfast here. OMG the pancakes were amazing. Had pancakes at Cheesecake Factory a few days earlier and these blew those out of the water. Great location and wonderful service.
This restaurant came highly recommended to us. Fish tacos, burgers, salads, and a full bar. Excellent selection of food and booze. Laid back atmosphere with beautiful views of the marina and tons of Tarpon to watch in the water. Comfortable covered outdoor seating with ceiling fans. Jake took great care of us.
Youll be hard pressed to find better seafood in Red Hook. The location right on the water is a perfect setting for a great meal. Trevor does a great job at making sure everyone has a great experience. Be sure to check them out.
This was a unique place to eat. Very casual but great food. Service was great.
It has become one of my favorite places to eat on island. The best brunch spot.
Awesome place! The staff was so nice and helpful and the food was fantastic. We got the crawfish Mac n cheese to start along with a mango daiquiri and I d go back again just for that, 10/10. Also got the shrimp poboy and my fiancé got the island burger (had some sort of pineapple on it). I m not even a big fan of pineapple and his burger was to die for! The sauce and shrimp on my sandwich was so good. Loved this place!! Also the view is amazing!
Yummy lobster and cozy environment
Great setting- you can watch fishermen bringing in and prepping their catch on the pier. Food was alright; did not rate higher because the salad had so much sauce the lettuce leaves were drenched & soggy, making rolling ingredients in the big leaves impossible.
Food is fine but gosh ... Expensive even for St Thomas. Service friendly but a bit aggressive with the upselling.
Loved the poke bowls and the service and recommendations were fabulous!!
This was by far one of the best restaurants on the island. Made a reservation on open table for 9 people (7 adults 2 kids) arrived a few minutes early and the hostess took us right to our table. Everyone there was really nice and customer oriented, this was not the case at any other restaurant on the island. Food was very good, fast service, and reasonably priced. Great view the they harbor in the open air dining area. The kids were even able to feed tarpon from the dock after we finished our meal.
Delicious!
I had a nice lunch here
Tarpons Table was our first meal when we got on Island and it is now our last. The fish is fresh and tasty. The St John Poke bowll with tuna is incredible. Drinks are spot on, too!
Excellent food, great fish dish. Great drinks, had a rum drink, which was fantastic. The sord fish was very well prepared and fresh. Can not go wrong. A bit pricy, but not a tourist trap. Respectful staff that want you to come back. Great view of the boats. We sat on the deck.
Great fish and chips
Great place to eat brunch and have some drinks. Right on the water, we saw a small shark swimming with the tons of tarpon. Makes sure to go buy some food to feed the tarpon, lots of fun!!
The food is some of the best we had on island. Fresh poke bowls and fish tacos with tons of flavor and great textures. Sitting right off the water while we ate was magic. Drinks were super refreshing and tasty.
Went today for lunch with my beautiful wife to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! The staff was great and the food was amazing! We had the fish and chips, and I d have to say they were the best fish and chips I ve ever had! Kudos to the chef and the staff! Clermont Georgia
Great experience, great location (awesome tarpon swimming all around, right on the water), very very friendly staff and good food. We had lettuce wraps, shrimp and guacamole appetizer, catch of the day, and a shrimp po boy. The catch of the day was the highlight of the meal. Served with an AMAZING rice. Our only negative was the size of the shrimp appetizer. Small for the price. The portions of the main dishes were fantastic however.
Super recommended! We came for breakfast and after trying 2 other places, this is the one with the most food. If you have a 6 4 husband, like myself, you know you need big portions. Great customer service, cool views! Food
Fantastic breakfast with ample portions! Great service and great view
Awesome vibe, great atmosphere, friendly staff, really good food that was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the sunset, fed the Tarpon and had a really good time.
If youre visiting and have only one place to go for breakfast, let this be that place. Such great food. We are always satisfied the service is always top notch.
Fish tacos are amazing the sauce that comes with them is heaven! The buchwacker is perfect and presentation of both food and drinks are amazing! Also tried the swordfish....delicious! Restaurant ambiance music and staff were all wonderful!
Loved this place!! Very chilled. The perfect end to a morning on the beach.
Really disappointed. The steak was average. Nothing special, like what I grill at home. Minimal menu. Service was neglectful and not accommodating.
Loved our quick stop for a snack after visiting ST John for the day. Lettuce wraps, shrimp po boy, and fish tacos. Natalie was on point as our server. So friendly and shared with us her life story. We will definitely be back when back in town.
Brought our own fish that we caught on a local charter (Drift Charters). The owner promptly greeted us and reviewed our options of what he can do with the fish. He made 3 different dishes from apps to the main course. Everything was perfect. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere and ambience is great as well with some awesome music. 5 stars from us.
The staff was friendly and polite. We were able to see the tarpon feed. Very cool. Definitely my favorite place to eat so far on the island!
We ate there or second night in and the lobster stuffed with andouielle sausage was great. Service was phenomenal. Great atmosphere and music. We went back with our deep sea fishing haul and the owner made us 3 separate dishes based on what we brought in. It was spectacular!
We went there and when we walked in at just before 5 pm, the place was pretty much empty. When we walked by the bar to go sit at a table, the bartender was nice and asked what music did we want to hear, which was cool. Beyond that though, the rest of the experience was average. I had the swordfish and crab meat, and I probably would not get it again as it was kinda bland to me. The server was nice and checked on us several times, and the water view was also enjoyable.
A very unassuming, Veteran owned, restaurant on the water in Redhook that has fantastic food. Highly recommended.
The food was excellent and the experience was so pleasant thanks to the kindness of the staff. They made us feel comfortable as we lunched and waited for an airplane connection. The staff was especially nice to my 7 year old grandson, making him feel like a VIP. The goat cheese and spinach omelette was an excellent choice.
Not bad, not great.
My recent experience at Tarpons Table for brunch was nothing short of extraordinary, earning this establishment a well-deserved five-star rating. Nestled in the heart of the US Virgin Islands, Tarpons Table effortlessly combines breathtaking views with an exceptional culinary journey. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was inviting, capturing the essence of the Caribbean. The warm and friendly staff immediately made us feel at home, ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of perfection. Now, lets talk about the brunch! The menu was a delightful blend of local flavors and international influences, offering a diverse selection that catered to all palates. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every dish, showcasing the commitment to quality that Tarpons Table prides itself on. The standout dishes for me included the Caribbean-inspired twists on classic brunch items. The Jerk Chicken and Waffles were a revelation, perfectly balancing the spicy kick of jerk seasoning with the sweetness of the waffles. The Eggs Benedict with lobster added a touch of luxury to the meal, and the local fruit platter was a refreshing palate cleanser. What truly set Tarpons Table apart was the attention to detail in both presentation and service. Each dish was a work of art, and the staff took the time to explain the ingredients and preparation methods, enhancing the overall dining experience. The waterfront location added an extra layer of charm to our brunch. The panoramic views of the crystal-clear waters and the gentle sea breeze complemented the delectable food, creating a sensory delight that is hard to match. In addition to the impeccable food and setting, the pricing was reasonable for the quality and quantity provided. The value for money at Tarpons Table is exceptional, making it a top choice for those looking to indulge in a luxurious brunch without breaking the bank. In conclusion, Tarpons Table has truly mastered the art of brunch, delivering an unforgettable culinary experience against the backdrop of the stunning US Virgin Islands. Whether youre a local or a visitor, make sure to add Tarpons Table to your must-visit list. Its a brunch paradise that deserves every bit of its five-star rating!
Amanda was the best waitress and even took the time to give us pointers on what to do on the island . Amazing food. Amanda even showed a picture of the catch of the day fish I was being served.
Pricey for the product provided, service was excellent, right on water
Very good place for dinner.
Food was great! We saw lots of tarpon and got to feed some with leftover food! It was super fun with our whole family! The owner was really nice. The lemon pie was the best! Kid-friendliness: Very friendly to our kids. Kids loved it!!
Unpretentious simple good food. Ribeye was correct. Fresh catch was great. Server was friendly and did a great job. Marina vibe is perfect. It s the best place on the island for a proper dinner. Feeding the tarpon off the deck was a cool bonus.
This is a fantastic place to eat! We brought freshly caught fish and they prepared the best fish tacos along with a coconut curry and grilled fish. Cannot say enough about the food, the service, the atmosphere!! Crazy delicious! The best meal weve had this week! Highly recommend!! Food : 5/5
Great place for family dining. Really enjoyed our meals, the atmosphere, and the staff was really cool.
We went yesterday for an early dinner and food was absolutely amazing! Top ingredients, great preparation, attentive service, nice view, reasonable prices. Definitely one of the top choices in St. Thomas.
Food it s yuck service is horrible this was the worst food we had in our trip
Great location! Great food and drinks! Highly recommended.
We had an awesome breakfast here. The food, staff, and atmosphere are all amazing. Highly recommend!
Throughout 3 or 4 visits, I was repeatedly impressed with the food. I never order pancakes for myself in a restaurant, but theirs are absolutely amazing, best Ive had in ages. I had a delicious, beautifully done ribeye, and I am eager to go back for another one. This is going to become a special place in Red Hook, for sure.
A brand new gem in redhook. This restaurant is such a great addition to the area, conveniently located within walking distance of the redhook ferry dock. It s atmosphere provides gorgeous harbor views and calming breezes. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner! A rarity on island. Their breakfast menu is a foodies dream. From smoked salmon toast, bananas foster pancakes, and a life-changing pork eggs Benedict, it offers vast options to enjoy a meal to start the day for any palate. Their dinner menu incorporates local island flavors and the freshest seafood. If you re looking to have an incredible dining experience on the east end of the island, this is the place to go! The staff completes the dining experience. Excellent, quick service from some of the most wonderful individuals in the industry I ve come across. I will be returning regularly to soak in all of the awesome food, service, and atmosphere at Tarpon s table!
If I could give 10 stars I would! I wish I would have taken a picture of our food, my fiancé and I shared the St. Thomas poké bowl with tuna and it was incredible! The staff is friendly and attentive. The environment is breezy, right by the water, you can watch the dinghys come in, which I always find enjoyment in.. you can also sit in the shade or the sun depending on your wants or needs. EDIT: we ve been here for four hours so we are on our second meal and ordered the crawfish Mac-N-Cheese.. I HATE crawfish but this is incredible!
Excellent food and friendly service. They very accommodating to our 2 toddler kids. We loved airy environment and water view. All the best to them as they are newly opened.
I got the pleasure of dinning at the new restaurant Tarpons Table ! I have to tell you I was Extremely Impressed ! This is exactly what Red Hook needed. The atmosphere was classy and absolutely beautiful! Its right on the water in the gorgeous Red Hook Marina ! The prices are extremely affordable. Adam the bartender was very professional and and Blast to hang with. Beautiful Bar ! I had the Ribeye Steak and it was probably the Best Steak I have had since Ive been on the Island in 2 years ! The staff is awesome , Brooke, Kayla, all lead by Trevor the Field General of the Entire Place ! All I have to say if anyone coming to St Thomas VI Tarpons Table is a absolute must. Youll have the time of your life and the best food at the best price youll ever have in the USVI !
We ate here on 12/8/22 and had a wonderful experience. We brought our two toddlers and the entire staff was very accommodating, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We were able to sit by the water and the view was beautiful. The kids got the mac and cheese which was super flavorful, they ate all of it! I had the lobster special which was absolutely perfect. The drawn garlic butter added a lot of flavor and the andouille stuffing was super yummy. My husband got the shrimp po boy which was also delicious and dressed to perfection. We definitely recommend this place if you re in St Thomas!
Great location, with just a nice cozy feeling. The staff is awesome and they served up a delicious variety of menu items, and cocktails. Great service, food view, people, and atmoshpere...what more can you ask for!
The food was ok. Our waitress kept promising to bring us water but never did. We were thirsty so not having water was not optimal. When she brought the check she said she asked other people help bring water. But there were only a few tables and other people received water. Anyway - food was ok, service was lacking, but view and ambience were great!
We took our fresh catch here and they cooked it into such a delicious meal for us! They even cooked it two different ways - fried and grilled and gave us tacos and a yellow curry with veggies. The service was friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Beautiful views from the patio as well! Perfect for our vacation!
Phenomenal food! Server was great, must try the poke bowls!
