I went with my girlfriend for lunch, was recommended the special of the day; Beef Biryani and was delicious. We also shared the Beef Shamie. Amazing service with the best host! It was amazing for our first time trying the cuisine!

First time trying Afghan food. Our server was so warm and friendly. He made us feel so welcome. Tried the platter for two. Lots of food with a salad, appy, 2 kinds of rice, side dish and 3 kinds of kabob. Very filling and enjoyable. Parking: Massive pot holes in the large roomy parking lot that devices many stores too.

As an Iranian, I found their chicken tikka, most similar to our own at home, delicious. Their kabab was also good but yet I havent been lucky enough to find a restaurant that has something close to persian kabab. The people are warm and the meat is halal.

Foods are so delicious & healthy for Bangladeshi & Indian people. As well as recommended for all Countries people, cz its not so spicy.

I wanna recommend Bangladeshi Desert item called Roshmalai. Its a masterpiece.

Worth going there, tried their beef kebabs with rice very nice authentic afghani taste. Staff were very friendly, polite & efficient. They just need to work on their ambience as well on their price.

I became associated with this restaurant because I met an Afghan immigrant in an English class for new immigrants. It was then that I learned the correct spelling of Afghanistan. One day I was searching for restaurants on the map and entered cuisine and this restaurant came up. Sadly she was out of business for a while. Today is finally here. Remember to open the door after 12 noon. The shop owner was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to ask us if we were from Hong Kong. He also said that he had been to China twice and liked it very much, and he could speak a few words in Mandarin and Cantonese. We ordered lamb leg rice, beef rib rice and potato wedges. Unexpectedly fits the taste. The seasonings have exotic flavors but are not too strong. The meat is juicy and soft without being too raw, and the original taste is well preserved. And the portions are huge. Very satisfied with the try and will come again in the future.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by kind happy people. The service was excellent, all dishes explained, if needed, and the recommendations were definitely worth it. The food was not only delicious, but the amount was huge. The prices were very fair for the amount of food. This restaurant is a hidden treasure in Regina!

Ato asadharon khabar j ki bolbo, the food is really tasty. My husband and I tried many different foods there. He loves their lamb shanks and now he is a big fan of their eggplant bonanza. The lamb is soft and succulent. The eggplant is very tasty. I love their murg pulao, faluda, ras malai. The most lovely thing about the restaurant is service. Shohug da sotyi e asadharon.

This restaurant is not afghani anymore. New owners are Bengali. The food isn t Afghani anymore. Please don t waste your time and money if you re going there for Afghan food. They used frozen naans. Chicken was covered in salt. Had to send it back. Utter disappointment.

Best place to hang out with friends for an event. My family and I always come here to hang out and they have the most delicious and pleasant dishes. In addition, their people are so nice and friendly, they literally gave us a meal from our motherland after a good conversation. I honestly should have made this review the first time I came here. Parking: The place is amazing, but theres usually not s lot of people that come here so parking is usually easy to find.

TO ESCAPE, the worst food Ive eaten. Dont go if you want it to your taste and your money. I found hair and I got sick.

The best hospitality I have ever seen in Regina. Customer service is fantastic.

Went for dinner on Tuesday March 29, 2024. Didn t realized until spoke with staff/manager that this is no longer an Afghani restaurant and very soon they are changing to different name and will be serving food from Bangladesh. Food we ordered was ok but definitely not tasted like Afghani food, what we came for. This restaurant was run by Afghani family before, they sold it to someone and current landlord took over from them. Will definitely go again when they introduce new menu but Afghani food was not authentic this time.

Quiet and quaint little place. The tea that was served was full of flavor with a soft roundness that enhanced it.

Quite frankly, I didn t believe all the reviews about this place, but I found out they were true. Really really friendly inviting people willing to work with you to make this an enjoyable meal- regardless of your experience with this type of food. I will definitely be going back to experience more of their tasty dishes and incredible service. So happy I went here! Edit- I went back again today (only 3 days after above review) and was treated to an absolutely incredible beef kacchi biryani (probably not spelled anywhere near correctly) dish that was easily the best meal I ve had in a few years! I ve had great Indian Biryani but this was on another level for me. So good! And such incredibly friendly, helpful service again too - I m pinching myself, WOW! I m dying to go back again tomorrow lol.

this place wasnt worth it, dont waste your money if your looking for authentic and flavorful meals. The rice had no flavour in it and it was filled with colors, the meat was hard to chew on. I had high expectations for this place, it disappointed me.

Lovely evening with family. The chicken dish I had was delicious. A little slow to refill our Chai tea. We had to ask a few times.

First time trying Afghan cuisine and its way better than I thought! The lamb kabob I ordered is tender and juicy and full of spice aroma. My wife ordered the lamb stew and its also very excellent. What a great experience!

Its not actual Afghani taste, food is okay for those who are not familiar with afgani cuisine, I was not able to find any traditional Afghani dish. Prices are too high for the portions, specially for falafel they give 6 pieces of falafel with salad, which cant even fill tummy if a 10 years old.

Dont visit this place.waiter is very rude .I just tell her rice is not fresh.She started fighting with me and use very harsh language.Dont waste your hard earn money .Food was uncooked and no taste.i waste my 55 dollars .

I dont know how they called themselves Afghani Cuisine when there isnt anything afghani be in their food taste or hospitality. Our order, which was as afghani Pulao, was served without any add ons no mint mixed paste, bi tomato paste, the rice, and the boiled carrots had no taste at all The owner should set some examples. If they are using a countrys name in their restaurant, it should be visible on that.

Wow! I ordered take out dinner for 6 for a family birthday and it was incredible! Every dish was well made, flavourful, and obviously prepared with care, attention to detail and the freshest ingredients (even our grand baby couldn t get enough)! The delivery service provider s system ended up having issues but Omar not only sorted it out, he delivered our dinner himself and I was very happy to have my family dinner saved & to have met him too (he was so nice)! I try to eat here at least once a month. The owner is one of the nicest people you will meet, and the food is my go to comfort food right now. I always end up with delicious leftovers because of the healthy portions. Afghan food is savoury, full of spices (not hot spices), and perfectly rich. Great comfort food. Booths are set up well for 4, they can do larger parties with tables. They also do take out and delivery. Must Try: Potato and Leek Bulanie and Mento

I visited this restaurant back in August. Really impressed with the quality of food served. We were into many afghan restaurants in Ontario. I wil give this place 9/10 on every thing. Owner and staff were friendly.

This restaurant is the best restaurants that I have ever tried in Canada. The food is very delicious. Staff are friendly. I recommend everyone to try it if they visit Regina. If you are interested in Persian restaurant definitely try it.

We thought the food would be authentic Afghan but unfortunately non was. It appears that the cook/management is not Afghani but from Bangladesh....which put the food experience in a completely different category. Food taste was mediocre and the prices are well above Reginas better eateries. Your time and money would be better spent elsewhere.

It was pricey for 2 falafel sandwiches, $ 17 each . They were tasty, but cost more than we expected.

The staff were so friendly and caring about customers, the food quality was good , well marinated kebabs, tasty felafel, well cooked rice.but food portion is not as much as expected according to the price. I got platter deal for 2 and it was really small portion.if you order these kebabs and meals separately, it would be more reasonable.

I have never had Afghan food before. The food was very good. I was looking a restaurant that had a complete menu that was their heritage not one or to dishes this felled the mark. When husband and myself are in Regina we will be stopping there for lunch or dinner

Such a nice change of flavours from more common international ones! The bulani with cilantro salsa and cucumber -yogurt dip is a new favourite.

Got food poisoned there today. Not fun.

Tried 2 skewers of kabob with rice and yougurt drink. Kabobs were very small, overcooked and hard to cut into. Rice was undercooked and the portion size was very small for the price. The grilled tomato was 1/4 of a small tomato. I do not recommend this place.

I am a old customer of this restaurant and I order at least every week.Every time the food is just phenomenon...I never had that kind of food in any restaurant thorought my whole life..just love it...Customer service was also great

The Restaurant recently opened for dine in again with appropriate precautions. We had Pakora, Bulanie, Mentos and a Lamb Dish with Saffron Rice. All were excellent but I particularly like the Mentos (a long time favourite) and the Bulanie - we had the potato and leek ones and they were full of flavour. We also tried the new Afghan summer dessert, the Saffron Ice cream with pistachios and a cherry sauce and the Faaloodeh, which is sort of a cherry granita with very thin rice vermicelli in it. The latter gets better as it melts.

The food here is very good, we ll balanced spicing with some typical sweetness (but not too much). My server was friendly and attentive, without being overly present! The restaurant is located on a strip mall, and still they were able to create an inviting, if simple, ambience. In the picture below is: lamb and yellow lentil stew served with spiced (flavourful not hot ) Basmati rice topped with carrots and cinnamons soaked raisins. Very flavourful Finished of with a black Chai (cardamom and cinnamon spiced).

We grab the platter deals whenever we go there and that usually has a little of everything to try. A must try for Afghan cuisine in Regina.

The food here is absolutely amazing. They used to have a buffet which i enjoyed as it was convenient for quick lunch and sampling various menu items but ordering off the menu was speedy and delicious, and the food was even better than expected. The staff and owner are always incredibly friendly, and the dining room and washrooms are clean.

Food is tasteless and bland very small portions and overpriced too. The platter for two is enough for one the single kebab meal is overpriced too. It s not what we would call Afghan food! If you have eaten Afghani food in Toronto or other main cities this is restaurant is nothing like that food. We won t be coming back here again.

The food is excellent. I am really glad to see this place survived the COVID-19 shutdown. I highly recommend it. Afghan food is not spicy but similar to Indian or Middle Eastern in texture and appearance.

Phenomenal! I dont know much about Afghan cuisine but with all those bursts of flavour and spices, Id like to believe its authentic. Very very delicious. The meats were very juicy and tender, and the salad very fresh. I was told that they make their own desserts here but got too full to try any. Instead we ordered green and black tea which was strong in cardamom and cinnamon flavours in a good way. Also, our server, whom I think is the owner, wore a mask, sat customers at least one table away from each other, and wiped the card machine which means theyre following safety measures during this difficult time. Overall, great atmosphere, great service, and mouthwatering food. Highly recommend.

Been there one time for dine-in before COVID and once for pickup after COVID. Food is consistently good but service is always not as good. Food tastes best when fresh as the beef kebab was dry when I got home.

Went there ordered their best sellers, 2 meals and one lamb chop, was around 70 dollars. Came back home and saw the lamb was burnt and dry and the rice was flavourless. They could have not served the burnt food, but i guess they dont care about the customer. I dont think its not worth the price.

This was my first experience ever having Afghani food and I was absolutely delighted with how delicious the food was! The customer service experience was very genuine, and comfortable and I would highly reccomend folks stop by for a meal.
