Tasty food made from scratch - breakfast, lunch, or brunch. Bennies, waffles, skillets and so much more. We offer gluten free, vegetarian, and some vegan options. Sister restaurant to Luna Kitchen | Bar.
I’m a young female, I was in bed for a long time as I have spinal cord issue lumber as well as sacral which in turn affect the nerves in my legs. I can’t walk, it hurts to even lay down. And sitting is completely out of question as it leads to enormous pain. After months of physical pain and mental anguish I have started to move around recently and yesterday I went for brunch at this place because I wanted to feel positive and their menu looks great so wanted to eat here for a long time. It was my mistake to choose this place instead of choosing the regular places I used to go. I got a ride from a friend, got to this place, got a table, ordered coffee. I rested my back for a few seconds and explained my condition to the server. Sat on the booth and I had my legs up on the booth because dangling legs while sitting lead to enormous pain later. I’ve been told not to drive or sit in that position. The legs were folded back and I was still sitting up straight on the booth reading menu. The server came back and told I couldn’t sit with legs up on the booth. My heart sank, no it broke - looking at intolerance. Looking at the fact that instead of making each others lives easier, everywhere people try to make it harder rather than helping. Looking at the fact that I stood there on brink of tears and so I left. I should mention I’m a person of colour. I really think if it was white person, there is always more tolerance while people of colour don’t even get to be in pain. I chose to leave because energy shouldn’t be spent on people who chose weird animosity because of the limiting beliefs in their heads, instead of humanity! I went to rock creek in the same plaza and the food was great, servers were empathetic and and did not care ‘ how I was sitting’. Anyone reading my comment, please support small places who have big hearts rather than big and bright places like these that go out of their way to make someone uncomfortable for no reason.
Great place for brunch! Extensive menu (took awhile to read and choose what to eat). Amazing service and can tell a place that takes pride in food they put out
Terrible experience. Waited 2 hours to get our food with 3 young children and 36 weeks pregnant. We were barely checked on during this time. The food came out cold.. hamburger was mushy and appeared undercooked. They did nothing to accommodate this experience other than offer us a free refill on our drink? Owners were rude and didn't care. We are always willing to give places second chances when something like this happens because we understand these things do happen and it can be challenging running a business... but these owners had zero interest in taking accountability or making things right.... After this experience we will never be going back here. I would not recommend this place.
This establishment is known as Breakfast Bistro by day and Luna’s Kitchen by night. After being heavily suggested, I finally got to try both. However, this post will focus on Breakfast Bistro. I ordered a Fried Chicken + Avocado Smash Benedict and upgraded to Greek Potatoes. For a drink, I got a Mango Mimosa. Prices were $26, $3 and $10 respectively. This was before taxes and tip. I was impressed by the atmosphere, look of the restaurant and quality of the food. The meal was decent, however I don’t think it was worth the expensive price. My drink barely tasted of mango and tasted only of alcohol. I drank less than half of my small glass. No, this was not worth $10 before tax or tip. My meal was GOOD, however I don’t think it was worth $29 before taxes and before tip. I was however happy that I got poached medium eggs when asked. I would like to return because I believe their menu has a lot of variety and the waffles are pretty delicious. I might not order the friend chicken + avocado smash again, but there is a lot more to explore here.
Went for breakfast on Sunday June 30, 2024 We ordered two egg breakfast and shakshuka with coffee. Two egg breakfast was very ordinary while Shakshuka was very good. Prices I was on higher side for breakfast items. Very nicely decorated dinner and very peaceful patio. Service was good. Recommended
First time here today and overall a wonderful experience. Had the Lobster Benedict and the sauce was SO good. Flavourful with just the right amount of kick, and the lobster pieces were bouncy and juicy. Upgraded the side to Greek roast potatoes and they were crispy and packed with flavour as well. There was an issue with the my mother’s Shakshuka but they were happy to rectify it no questions asked, at no extra charge. The croissant that came with it was fresh, crispy and buttery however. Servers were friendly and checked in on us several times. We will definitely be back to try more items! Only constructive comments would be, for $32 the arugula on the Benedict could have been whole pieces (not chopped) and lightly dressed for better presentation and more contrast in texture. Also a small side (even just 2-3 pieces) of fruit would be a nice complement to cut through the salt/oil. The coffee was very weak considering it was only 930 when we came in. Lastly service was friendly but also chaotic, more experience/training is needed.
A funky breakfast/ lunch restaurant with yummy food and great ambience. The owners are very friendly. The menu is unique with food for almost anyone while dominated by Mediterranean foods.
We decided to stop in here because we were craving Eggs Benedict. I'm so glad we did.. they were delicious. Each came with a fantastic house-made hollandaise sauce and crispy roasted potatoes. Although the place was busy, our server was very attentive and frequently checked on us to ensure we were having a good experience. The items may seem pricy, but the meals were worth the cost. We'll be back the next time we visit Regina!
Food was good. Unfortunately lobster in the lobster eggs benedict was chewy and over cooked. Mango mimosas were so good! Was kinda bummed the server did not come back to us until after our food came. I had to ask a different server for us to get another drink. We would ve had more to drink if server came to check in while we waited for our food. Willing to try again and have a better experience!
Dont recommend at all. Ordered delivery. Food was cold and not tasty. Not even any syrup for my pancakes! Food
Great food and wonderful service!
Hands down one of the best breakfast experiences you will find in Regina. Great food, big portions, friendly staff, its the total package.
Very good chef, establishment was tidy and efficient. Enjoyed our experience.
Best breakfast in Regina!
Very delicious food, great options - it was difficult to choose - and perfect, attentive service. Atmosphere is also really nice. We were very happy to have found this gem of a place.
Everything was spot on, they opened the deck for us as the sun began to pop up
I mistakenly put a one star. Im sorry! the food decor and ambiance is amazing!A brunch restaurant that I recommend to all my tourists clients! Its an experience
Lovely spot for brunch
This is maybe Regina best kept secret? Excellent quality food, really nice ambience and super good service. Highly recommend for any meal but I especially love their breakfast
Good food and friendly staff.
Very good food and nice atmosphere. Prices were quite high though we paid over $60 for 2 breakfasts and one coffee drink.
Absolutely love this place. The environment and the food is top notch. Dare I say best in the city!
I enjoyed everything about this place, the food was exceptional and well presented. Our waitress was professional, very prompted with her service and knowledgeable of the menu. I will definitely be going back! Highly recommend!
This is the best breakfast in Regina hands down. The service is always perfect and the food comes out quickly.
Perfection, food was amazing. Linda our server made it the best. Would come back!!!
Got a steak and eggs breakfast, and the steak tasted like dirt.
There were 4 of us for lunch today. Meals and service were excellent. Portions were great. Will definetly go there again
Got buddy to pick up breakfast takeout this morning. Got the skillet. Was full of potatoes through an apple cutter that were a little undercooked. Very little ham, sausage and eggs. Pretty expensive for what you get. Not impressed.
We ordered 7 the same breakfast orders for delivery. All of them had lots of undercooked potatoes. Overall unsatisfied quality of food for the charged price.
Very disappointed with the food! Ordered 7 skillets to go, upon eating the potatoes were under cooked, miniscule amount of meat even after we ordered double meat, the cheese was what seemed like a piece of Velveeta cheese slice, couldnt even give you real shredded cheese for $28 to top it off the price point was ludacris.
Fabulous food, cooked to order and service is always fantastic! My favourite breakfast spot!
We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the food -- until our server actually asked us to leave?!? Why? because its busy time, Sunday morning... If I could have taken the tip back you can bet I would have!!
Best breakfast place in Regina , excellent food and service .will definitely come back .
The food is exceptionally delicious and presented beautifully. While the prices may be slightly higher, they are justified by the high quality of the food. The dining experience is truly remarkable. I look forward to visiting again when I return to Regina.
Excellent food, like very good. Both times weve gone the service has been lackluster and pretty awful though.
Ummm AMazING!! The food incredible!! Best in Regina. The service amazing!! Thank you Kade for making our visit so fun as well
I picked this place because I wanted my girlfriend and I to go to a special quiet place so we could visit.A limousine of kids arrived and was seated beside us .The chairs are very uncomfortable.Very very loud . Our toast came way after our eggs was served and the breakfast sausage was a very spicy huge dinner size.Horrible taste ! The potatoes took up most of our plate and were giant size like baked potatoe pieces. My girlfriend ordered white bread and was given heavy sour dough bread .We will be going back to Denny s where it is quieter and the selection is way better . Parking: Parking is busy but should be able to find a spot
The burgers we had a couple of weeks ago were good. Oddly everything tasted like onions though. We had delivery and either the griddle needed a clean or somehow everything took on the onions in transport. Overall, Id try going in person!
My favorite!!! Breakfast Bistro is a hidden gem with cozy yet vibrant ambiance, serving breakfast classics with amazing and friendly service, making every visit an eagerly anticipated experience for those who love great food and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!
I ve been here twice now and both times the food and service was great. The meals have good portions, great taste, and everybody working the floor always seems so friendly. Dietary restrictions: Lots of options to accommodate guests dietary restrictions, and good labeling in the menu
Kids are not allowed to colour in the restaurant. We brought washable markers and a colouring book for our child, and had been made aware that because the tables are too expensive kids can t colour. Our server was very kind and offered a large napkin to put under the colouring book in case our child happened to miss the book with the marker. That was very nice and recognized, but the owner (blonde lady) was very rude when she walked past after the fact, and said it s not allowed even after the server was being very helpful. The server was very apologetic, but we could not get past the rude demeanour of the owner. The food was also all cold and flavourless, toast was hard and cold like it had been out for a hour then heated quickly in a microwave before being brought out. The eggs were undercooked on both plates, potatoes were cold. The only thing half decent was the coffee. The waitress did discount our bill which was appreciated, but should not be required if the experience was not mediocre at best. Bottom line is the server was great, the owner, and food are the reason for the terrible review. The atmosphere and attitude, along with the price for what you get in this restaurant is enough for me not to return. You Can have a better breakfast at countless other places in Regina for less of a cost, better food, kid friendly, and appreciative ownership.
Wow! This was my first time having a BLT sandwich with them. It was very delicious and I was able to get a gluten free which is even better since I cant have gluten, it was very delicious I enjoyed it Ill definitely be coming back!!! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
My daughter was home from Uni and Monday is her birthday, so Sunday brunch was our last opportunity for family time before she had to leave - Mom, dad, brother and sister. From a young age, when we go for a meal we put our phones away and we play cards. We socialize, we laugh, we strategize, we teach, we learn, we celebrate. Today we sat down at 10:10 and noticed the sign about a limit of 1:45. We were finished and paid the bill at 11:10 and had just started a new round of Kaiser while we finished our coffees. As soon as the bill was paid, the waitress asked us to please not stay and play. I responded we had only been there an hour and would it be ok if we left once we finished the coffee? Within 2 minutes the owner came and said no, we needed to leave. More specifically it was not ok for us to play cards. When I asked can we finish our coffee I was told sure, just no cards. So despite a pretty good first hour, we left sad and confused. We wont change our tradition, but we will have to change where we eat out. Last night at Memories fine dining it was not a problem, and my bill was way more than double. Sad. We werent asking to smoke and we dont curse or chant or disturb other guests in any way. We werent gambling. Its a good restaurant with good food, prices are very reasonable, the coffee is excellent and they provide 2 kinds of creamers which is thoughtful. But as a business owner I think this was a very loud announcement that we arent valued as customers, and believe me we heard.
Owners were disrespectful directly to my family and I will not be returning again. This is not a place to bring a family. The food we got was good enough, but mostly underwhelming and plain. I thought it was like a simple menu with big flavor situation, but it was a simple menu with simple flavors (besides the Mediterranean-influenced dishes, the shakshuka was still simple but well done).
Food is always so good here. I think they could use extra staff on the weekend. Its so busy, and those people are run off their feet.
We had to eat at the bar as it was too full
99.9% amazing food, wife enjoyed her gluten free meal with fried chicken for breakfast, and pumpkin spice was delicious and very comparable to starbucks Dietary restrictions: Very friendly
Superb. Food. Service. Comfortable. Sets the benchmark of what restaurant service should be.
Always great food and service!
My skip the dishes order of the avocado smashed benedict was phenomenal! I highly recommend! Thanks guys :)
Really good spot for eggs benedict!
Great food with great service! Very friendly and welcoming owner! 5/5 Caden was awesome - thank you! Food
We received a gift certificate for here. Great food (eggs benedict), great view, great decor, helpful staff.
Our family went for a birthday brunch. The service was great and the food was delicious!
Very good breakfast Very good service The atmosphere is perfect You will like it if you are a breakfast person.
It was a very cozy place with good ambiance & an excellent food and service. Definitely recommended!
What a charming restaurant and delicious food. Cozy on a cold day with beautiful windows and fireplace. This place, is beautiful.
Wonderful food, a little price but you get what you pay for. Service was ok. They were very busy though.
Excellent!
Love this place will definitely be going back the food is absolutely amazing
Myself and some friends came for brunch back in December. I was excited as I had heard they make the best eggs benny in the city. Upon arriving, we told the senior lady who was hosting (who I m assuming is the owners mother, as I know it s a family owned restaurant) that our friends were already seated. She told us to go ahead and go on in. Now, when walking in, to the right is the kitchen, and the left is the dining room. I took a step to the right to let my fiancé walk ahead of me, as he knew where our friends were sitting. This lady proceeds to YELL at me not to go into the kitchen, in-front of EVERYONE. I stated that I wasn t, I was only letting my partner walk ahead of me. Then we sit down, and order our food. I ordered the arugula and prosciutto eggs benny with Greek potatoes. And if I m being honest, i make better eggs benny at home with a knorr sauce packet. The amount of hollandaise sauce you get is pathetic. Hardly covered my eggs, didn t even run down the sides. You get more hollandaise at Denny s. And the Greek breakfast potatoes were hardly cooked. Still very hard on the inside. Then the senior woman who decided it was appropriate to yell at me when we arrived, came to our table. To apologize? No. To make the most awkward encounter of my life. She didn t apologize, she just reiterated that she saw me walking into the kitchen and wanted to stop me. To which I said ya well I wasn t. And I explained that to you . So she not only made this an extremely awkward encounter in front of my friends in the middle of our brunch, but she didn t even apologize! And from reading other reviews on this place, it seems like she is a major problem. The cherry on top of the whole experience was when our waitress came up to us at 1hr and 35 minutes into our brunch, and told us that they have a time limit and that we needed to wrap things up. And yet, the sign at the front says 2 hour max seating period. We were done eating at this point but if there was any thought of ordering more drinks or food, that just went out the window. There was a line of people waiting to come in to eat but that shouldn t be our problem. When I think of going out to a nice restaurant to eat, I assume I ll be in the restaurant for 2ish hours. I debated on writing this for awhile, but whenever I drive by the place, I think about how that lady embarrassed me. So I won t be returning. Also, the iced coffee is better at Tim s.
Its one of my most favorite places in Regina. Only word for the food - Delightfully Delicious . Great customer service, great food, and cherry on the top is the ambiance of the place.
A wonderful place to dine. My only suggestion would be ... fix the paper dispenser in the womens washroom. Its very difficult to get the paper out. Food : 4/5
I can t get over how their Benedict lobster is soooo good! It s got a nice kick to it and I normally can t handle spicy food but dang, this was soooo good! My partner got the shakshuka and she couldn t even finish it all with such large portion. (Even better to have leftovers) Our server had started there for only a week and he was super friendly and very quick! The sister restaurant, Luna is a must. Have to try the Athenian!
Their breakfast was pretty good and the restaurant has some nice interior.
Had a lovely lunch. I have all the allergies (Dairy, soy, gluten, egg) so eating out can be a challenge. My server was very helpful with recommendations. I had a delicious Ruben on the gluten free bun with the side of yam fries.
Simply amazing! Great atmosphere, great service and the Lobster Benny to die for
Best breakfast spot in Regina, large menu with lots of gluten free options Dietary restrictions: Lots of Gluten free options
This was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had! We had the fried chicken eggs Benedict, the classic eggs Benedict with bacon, and a side of French toast with Nutella and the Belgium waffle (all gluten free!!) portion sizes were very generous and the food tasted so delicious and high quality. Also amazing that almost everything can be done gluten free. Will be back again! So surprised this place doesn t have 5 star rating, or should! Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options
The owner is incredibly rude. You want to get mad at me for taking a wrong turn in your labyrinthine restaurant? You deserve a round of applause. Very mature. Great job losing a customer.
Best breakfast in regina hands down. Top notch service aswell.
Unprofessional staff
Really good, good service, clean place
The only bad thing is that they are not open the whole week! They open on Wednesdays - until Sundays. So nice atmosphere. Service they offer is exclusive! Food was done in nothing! I think they were waiting for us with our dishes prepared and all! I had the LOBSTER BENEDICT and my husband had BISTRO SKILLET . and we also had a cappuccino. It came down to 68dls. AMAZING!
Fantastic
Busy place but theres a reason for that. Amazing atmosphere and food as always!
Loved the Tuscan Breakfast, so delicious!
Best breakfast in town!!
Fried chicken eggs Benny is spectacular
Chef- one chef to another - your hollandaise was visibly overcooked and too salty, youre letting rotten greens onto the plate, ingredients were missing, your hash browns are underwhelming and served to us cold, our food sat in the pass way too long ..but that was all just me according to you? Nothing wrong on your end- eh? The only reason I gave this a 2 was because the server was nice enough to take my comments to the back. Attitudes like that ruin reputations, also as a Chef we strive to be better. Critique is part of our work. Scrambled, over salted hollandaise is embarrassing, its breakfast food.
It is a wonderful place excellent food and service reasonable price for a great meal would recommend to everyone
I consider myself a brunch fanatic, so I feel like I ve definitely set some high standards. Breakfast Bistro did not disappoint. From the moment you walk through the door, the ambience of the restaurant is so inviting you never want to leave. Of course the food is spectacular, always consistently bringing out the best dishes (and the best mimosas and daiquiris). But the service here is unlike any other. I elected for a dairy heavy meal - even though I m lactose intolerant - and 3 servers made sure to check in on me and even brought me some lactose pills. All of them were so kind and talkative, even though I had brunch by myself! If you re ever in Regina, you d be remiss not to try Breakfast Bistro. You won t be disappointed!
An absolute gem of a spot for breakfast in Regina. A bit on the pricier side (expect to pay 20 plus per person), but the food was delicious with decent portions! I enjoyed the atmosphere of the Breakfast Bistro, we sat inside and enjoyed the modern decor, but there was an outdoor patio that might have been nice to try as well. Have a special occasion coming up? Give this place a try!
Dear god this place makes good food!
Always a pleasure to dine at the Breakfast Bistro! Relaxed ambiance and quick service. Lengthy menu with something for everyone. Highly recommend upgrading to Greek potatoes for any breakfast side. Will be back soon!
Maybe just a bad day but our service was terrible. Had to ask for coffee 3 times. Server got her tables mixed up so we waited an hour for our food. Server did not check on us after we ordered. The hostess finally came over to check and brought us a coffee refill. Food was okay but not worth the wait in my opinion.
Hip spot for breakfast, great food, good service. Would come again
Great Food and Service!
The first time I ate here, the food was delicious and great service as well.
I never knew this place existed till my friend introduced me. Very clean excellent service with a great menu. I wasn t a fan of the mango samosas especially in a smaller glass than the regular orange samosas. But the food was excellent and prepared extremely well. I can t wait to go back again Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible with lots of parking
Great food! I had the Classic Eggs Benedict with Bacon. Make sure you upgrade to Greek Hashbrowns - So worth it!! Dietary restrictions: Many menu items that can be prepared gluten free upon equest.
Food was ok. Potatoes were home made type kinda basic. Patio tables are shimmed up with cardboard, but hey its trendy so thats why we go.
Pretty cool place
Evidently I previously rated this restaurant as 4 star, but Im updating to 5 stars. One of my favourite restaurants in Regina. At our most recent visit, I ordered the fried chicken & avocado smash Benedict. So so good!! Highly recommend the Greek style hash browns.
Food was excellent prepared well, excellent service!!!
Food I got was good, but it wasnt what I ordered
This place is an absolute hidden gem!!! I immediately noticed the Greek vibes and feel in love with it. The owners are so personable and everything from the decor to the food and drinks was fabulous. Will definitely be back!!
Stumbled upon Breakfast Bistro regina and I have been blown away , never have I been welcomed so kindly into a new place as a stranger. The owner himself poored me my coffee and not because it was busy and he had to , but because he genuinely wanted. The chefs killed it with the breakfast I had the Sirachi Bennys and a side steak (filet Migon) Im from Alberta .... this steak was amazing ... Server floated on the floor not once did I have to ask or try and get her attention , coffee stayed full water never emptied. If you miss this spot you will regret it . I look forward ti the day I am back in Regina so I can indulge here again . Thank you breakfast bistro regina , please never change !
Flavorfull, healthy and homemade recipies, my favorite breakfast/bistro in Regina. The service was excellent, the cooks are fantastic, I will definitely come back!
Best meal of the day in a fantastic place. :-)
This bistro is rock solid. Great food, quick service! If they expanded they would fill more seats. Highly recommend for breakfast.
Amazing scrambler
Pretty tasty . A bit pricey but a nice treat once in a while
Extremely slow service, the server seemed lost. It wasn t very busy. We waited about 15 min for our coffee and drink. I can t say for my friend s drink but I ve never tasted any coffee that s as bad as theirs. Taste like either they forgot to put new batch of coffee ground in their coffee machine or they mix water with fresh coffee. As far as food goes, it s alright but definitely not worth the money.
Had a delicious breakfast. Very flavourful and excellent service. We were seated in a back room and unfortunately there was a party of 5 that were very loud. But that isn t the restaurants fault. Delicious thick toast and thick cut meat. Highly recommend!
Had the two eggs, classic breakfast and it was very good. The Italian sausage has some nice heat and the hash browns are also very good! Endless coffee refills as well.
Great service, atmosphere and food
Rude people poor service... shame on you.
Delicious food and great service. We especially appreciate how theyve followed guidelines during the pandemic to keep the community safe.
Im a big breakfast person and breakfast bistro is Amazing. Many ites to choose from. Great coffee and mimosas.
Delicious food and great atmosphere. However could use some more vegetarian options
My wife took me there today for a birthday breakfast all I can say is wow,the staff were very friendly and the food was to die for 5 star place in my eyes thank you for the best experience ever cheers
Have gone here with my wife for 4 years on our anniversary and more and it s always perfect!
Very good! Coffee was really good also High quality place
Fantastic! When I go to other places I find bacon is either overdone or under done. This was perfect and the service was amazing
So incredibly delicious! Highly recommend the Asparagus and Brie Eggs Benny! 10 out of 10! Service was fast and friendly. Next time we are in Regina we will be back for sure!
Great place to have breakfast or brunch the food is amazing staff helpful and friendly but always crowded which show you how great this place
Delicious fresh food. Never disappoints. Gem of a local business. Owners make a point of checking on their customers which makes you feel valued.
Im usually the type of person who steers clear of any breakfast egg option; however, Breakfast Bistro changed the game. Only place Ive ever had breakfast that I have ever enjoyed having eggs for breakfast. Their Eggs Benedict have such a high reputation and I am happy to hop on that band wagon. Different breakfast options to choose and their oven potatoes are something I crave from time-to-time. Only thing I wish could possibly improve is maybe wait time on when food is served. Some times food is served a little on the colder side.
Don t like wedge potatoes with my breakfast, prefer hash browns or cube the wedges .eggs were very runny .prefer traditional sausage over the Italian spicy type
This place was good but not great. Seemed pricey for breakfast. The skillet was pretty much all tomato, potato and sauce.
Absolutely delicious. Great gluten free options for my daughter!
Where do I get started?! Staff is super friendly and professional, the food itself is amazing (the potatoes are to die for), and whoever s in charge of the playlist knows what s up. Service can take a little longer as it s super busy, but it is 110% worth the wait.
Food was good but quite disappointed that they asked us to leave right after paying our bill because they had other people waiting.
Food was good, service was not. Will not go back.
Really disappointed, ordered a pitcher of Sangria for $27, got a carafe with more ice than drink. The carafe held two and a half drinks. On the menu the drinks were 9$ each, so we tried to explain this to the owner and she was quite rude. Her reason was it was on the menu and there was no changing it. Food was okay but have had better for that price at breakfast dinners.
What a great dining experience this was! Went with a few girlfriends and we all really enjoyed our meals. The service was fast and friendly. Two thumbs up!
I ve come here a handful of times and each time I ve come the food has been absolutely stellar. Service has been amazing. The one chick with her head shaven is fantastic with service; speedy and friendly. However, I ve noticed several times one of the managers yelling at the workers. I ve even heard her from the kitchen area. It disrupted our meal and we made sure to leave a good tip because we felt bad for them.
Great brunch! The hollandaise sauce is worth the awards it has won. Great staff and quick service. Absolutely will go again, thanks for a great experience
Excellent meal and atmosphere, there will be many more visits to this restaurant.
Good food. Wide selection.
On the 3rd attempt to eat here, we were successful in getting a seat. Its busy. My wifes meal was underwhelming but I still wanted to believe mine would be good. My egg/bacon/potato selection stated salsa and sriracha in the write up, so naturally I expected a savory and spicy dish. It was bland and sweet, salt free, and 90% fried potatoes. For me, sweet doesnt match potato but it might have just tasted bad because I was primed for savory/spicy. No... It was bad. We left after a few bites. After we told the server we didnt want anything packaged, they finally asked how the food was. I told them way too sweet, its bad, its not for me and they responded with OK. Paid full price. The line will be slightly smaller now. My suggestion: wait for the hype to fade, try it if you can afford it, and come with lower expectations than I had. Then Ill read your review and maybe it will convince me to come back.
Awesome service and great portions A++
Visiting from Edmonton and decided to stop in for brunch, based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but 5-Star. Orders took a long time to be taken and drinks came out wrong. Regina s Best Eggs Benedict ordered poached soft, came out cold and hard. Staff was confrontational and unpleasant, offering poor excuses for wait time. Furthermore, my partner and did not get to eat together and instead chose to leave with a take-out box, after being made to feel embarrassed for bringing up food quality issues. Very disappointed in the service and the way that repeated errors in our order were addressed.
Our server team was excellent and ensured that we were well taken care of. We did wait almost an hour for our food (delicious when it finally came) and watched as tables who came after us got theirs including the table right next. The (owner?) came up and asked how our experience was and we were honest that tables after us were served first and that was frustrating. She then fought us on that fact claiming that we were wrong and that just doesnt happen. She then just walked away with no apology or acknowledgement. I have been here many times and have never had this happen. Poor managent on this day.
Amazing breakfast, brunch place. Great ambiance, staff. Happy to visit again!!! Vegetarian options: Mediterranean Skillet-Vegetarian option
Had the Nutella French toast and a Chai Latte. Both were very delicious. I will definitely come back. The only odd thing was the seating. For three of us, we had two on a bench and one beside us on a chair in a triangle essentially.
We were there on Sat , the lady at the front she was very rude .
I went in hungry and with high expectations and left surprisingly underwhelmed. I m really quite surprised to have had such a disappointing experience based on the overwhelming number of positive reviews. Still, I couldn t imagine spending what we did on the quality of food we received. I d be willing to give Breakfast Bistro another try in hopes that my experience was just a one-off.
Our favourite breakfast to date! Edit: 4 years later Took my granddaughter. Our breakfasts were AMAZING! She had the Lobster Benedict, and I specialized to Brie and Ham. Good amounts of both lobster, and ham. Mimosa was great, and she loved her tea. We left with a cappuccino for me, and an ice coffee for her. It is expensive, but does make a perfect place for a Special Breakfast! The servers are very Friendly and Professional! Nice space to be in (deck for nice days), including a good bathroom.
Im in Regina visiting friends, having moved from here to Victoria approximately 3 years ago. The Breakfast Bistro remains my favorite breakfast location in either city. During my three days here, I visited twice. Great experiences each time.
Classic Benny was awesome!
Best brunch in Regina. Also, great place for brunch. Amazingly nice restaurant as well. Staff is always friendly. Highly recommended!
This place was fantastic, food, management and serving is on point. Came in wearing bomber colours for the grey cup and were treated like family. Superb experience and not overpriced for what you get.
Friendly staff, pretentious menu, bad espresso, overall expensive. The skillet I had was a pile of lukewarm potatoes with overcooked scrambled eggs on top. Saturday, ten AM, being empty should have been the hint I needed...
Great spot! Versatile menu, good food, good service, great atmosphere, staff is friendly and the place is very clean!
Eggs Benedict is their specialty. Great breakfast and brunch and lunch options
Our party waited over 45minutes to be served, only to be told that our names had been crossed off the wait list by accident. Instead of an apology we were told that mistakes happen and to come earlier . The food is extremely expensive compared to quantity and the quality isn t any better than the local Denny s. A poor experience in both customer service and food quality.
We went there for breakfast specifically for the gluten free waffles and it was so nice to see a menu with so many gf options! The waffles were a bit chewy in texture, but they tasted great still and the toppings were lovely. The potatoes were to die for! I also appreciated that there was options for a variety of budgets for breakfast. You could splurge a bit, or have a decent fair price breakfast plate. The atmosphere and restaurant design is beautiful and cozy feeling, with a great view over the park. Would return! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
Excellent and very good service
Amazing meal. My wife and I both had varieties of the eggs benedict. I recommend the Greek potatoes - they were stellar. Service was excellent and the food was delicious.
Beautiful view by the windows and delicious food!
Great food, friendly service and appropriate COVID-19 protocols in place.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend.
Have been here twice now. Really wanted to give this place a good review as it is local and the owners are always friendly Although both times here received poor service and was a long wait to receive two simple orders of food. Probably won t be back.
This place has amazing skillets and eggs benedict. Love this place so much.
I had an amazing meal at the Breakfast Bistro. How had I not known about this spot before? The menu has something for everyone so meat-eaters, vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free and paleo can all enjoy! I had the gluten free waffles and fried potatoes. They provided a generous helping of delicious potatoes and the waffles were super yummy! At one point, the owner Bill came over to our table to say a friendly hello and ask how our food was tasting. He seemed genuinely interested in assuring that his guests were having the best experience. I was also impressed with the decor, cleanliness and the view of this space. We had a window seat facing a small pond and it was quite lovely. The service was very friendly. I will absolutely be returning and making this my number 1 brunch spot in the city!
Great breakfast! Staff was wonderful and prompt.
This has to be the BEST breakfast that I have ever had! Fresh ingredients cooked to perfection! The Greek potatoes are to die for!! It was all delicious. Fantastic service as well. I highly recommend you try this place, it will not disappoint!!!!
The French toast with Nutella are to die for!!
When visiting in Regina, this is THE place to go for an awesome breakfast experience. The food is fresh, home made, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I will return to this little gem again and again.
Excellent food and nice atmosphere
Amazing food and mimosa s!!! The Nutella French toast is so good! The only downside to my last visit was slow service. Drink ran empty for awhile, but over recommend to anyone who wants a delicious breakfast.
Just something different in a positive way. Clean and tidy nicely presented food and plenty of it. Server was excellent always had a coffee pot in hand. Well worth a visit..
The pancakes were a little too thick for me, sausage was great.. potatoes couldve been better, although they do know how to use seasonings!
Eggs Benedict was really delicious. Great breakfast.
The food isnt bad, but its also nothing special given how pricy it is. Theyll charge you for a side of hot sauce without telling you. Looks like a super toxic place to work at, with the owner being all over her employees and seeming like an authoritarian micromanager.
My favourite breakfast place in the city. I try to make it here at least twice a month (and I live out of town). Edit: If you are seeing a bunch of negative reviews within a similar time span, its because owners followed COVID protocol to keep their customers and workers safe. I doubt any of them have actually eaten at this place. I cannot recommend them more. Ive been there over 100 times. Have I had times where it took a while to get my food? Yes. But thats only because they are extremely busy and serve a ton of people in Regina.
Food is overpriced and poor quality. Staff is rude. Save your money and find a better place.
Communism is alive and well in this gross establishment. Absolutely disgusting behavior and I would never EVER shop or eat food from here. If I could give ZERO stars I would #JustSayNo
Dont eat here they would rather discriminate people and throw food out than be reasonable.
Been there once before the Pandemic hit.. when I feel like traveling again I will be here again.
Amazing eggs Benny. And great mimosas.
Sooooo goooood!
A great place to go for weekend brunch but get there early enough because theres usually a 30 minute wait. The food is tasty with great presentation.
