Nice place to hang out with friends.

I guess you can throw anyone in a kitchen and call them a chef that our management is lacking either way wouldnt recommend unless you wanna get drunk even then Im sure there are better bars

Back corner far side VLT and me have a serious love hate relationship but she is kind even loving quite a bit more then she is mean and breaks my heart I have honestly never eaten a morsel of any form of sustanance they provide the service is....service no great write home experience but no call in the department of treatment of human beings and lodge a complaint the atmosphere is earth like no space suit required I cant devulge which games my old Beauty I Play just earned a well written review because the old machine nemesis has been kind of late to a weary traveller such as I. Parking: Its a bar that has a parking lot of an adequate size I dont think I need to go much further on that one its not the Burj Al Arab we are talking about here. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wooden ramp about 22.5 degree pitch Id say probably suffice to get a person of handicap nature in fairly easy....if they want to play the old vlts though that is a bit on the tricky side Im like 64% positive there is not a ramp up to the raised area but hey I havent scoured the place so could very well be access to the fun floor

Best Fish and chips.

Even though we were the only people in the restaurant.We waited 45 minutes for two club sandwiches. Fries were cold. Everything felt dirty . We have had many celebration And birthday suppers there through the years.but this past year its lost its level of service and food. Im sorry to say.We wont be back again.

We ordered off the menu, which usually was ok but not this time. My order was was prepared wrong and instead of them correcting my burger that was supposed to be made without BBQ sauce, they added ketchup over it and called it good. The fries were cold and my wifes glass of water was served in a dirty glass with floaties in it. They did not accommodate their mistakes and charged us the full price. The womens bathroom was disgusting and they had no TP or hand soap . We will not return. Someone needs to contact the health authorities to reexamine the facilities and their serving license.

Pleasant place to have a beer and play slots

Horrible service.. great food and drinks and pool tables but the service sucks took them 45 mins to even notice I was there and then I had to go and it took them like 10 min to realize how to do my receipt so I could pay and leave!!!!

Although this place is under new management, theyve retained everything including menu. Had of of the best steaks in the city here.

Slow service, to busy on her phone. I was the only customer. Waited about 10min till she finally looked up. Started with chicken noodle soup. Greasy felt a little sick after. Had the pot roast. Sliced roast beef, but the kind you use for sandwiches. Covered in a supper salty gray. The potatoes were Greek style it said. But under cooked inside and burnt on the outside. Wouldnt go there again. Couldnt even get mashed potatoes. Was not going to pay for it. Sent it back,told her I couldnt eat that. Left.

Came here to drink and play pool, which is $2 per play Wasnt busy on a Tuesday night haha. There was a creeper sitting at a table that kept creeping on our women. Service was good. Atmosphere feels a little depressing. Didnt try food, but i hear its good.

Had a small pizza . Was probley the worst I have ever had . Wasnt cooked . This is the second time Ive had it. Both times were under cooked even asked for it to be cooked longer. Pizza sauce was different both times and ordered double pepperoni and was barely anything on it. This place use to be really good. Its gone way down hill. Wont be ordering from there again. And when I complain about it it took them 4 days to get back to me and I called them 5 times in 3 days . Just not impressed at all. Sorry Ill be going back to western pizza for now on .

My favorite place. Ive been going since birth and my parents went before me. Still has kept up to be one of the most chill atmospheres. Theres pool, beer, great food, and lovely service every time.

Worst lasagna I have ever eaten in my life. The cheese flavourless, was like chewing on rubber. The meat sauce was just grease, that is all I could taste. Noodles were extremely overcooked. Garlic bread was great though. Which is unfortunate as I had a burger the day before from them and loved it, and the scary large portion of fries that came with it.

Owner were making waitress cry and we never got served so we left

My husband and I came for a lunch, sorry to say it was a FAIL for both meals, my husband sent his steak and eggs back, over done steak and scramble eggs dry. My eggs Benny was not Holiday sauce some kind of Southwest gravy For the topping. Beautiful place inside and the waitress was great.

Its okay. We just played vlt. We didnt have to order food or anything. We just went and tried our luck. But no luck. Lmao

Everything was great

Nasty bathrooms even 2 hours after saying something and flies flying around while eating. So gross don t recommend.

Food is trash. Chef Ramsay required in the kitchen to clean out the fridge, whole place is unorganized. Parking: Parking lot full of holes.

Almost no service, 20mins for coffee, half hour wait for a burger, music was way too loud. If I eat here it is usually at lunch time so Im basing this review on multiple visits.

We only come here to have a few drinks and play pool for an hour or two over the past few years. It used to be a good place with cold fizzy beer but since the new owners the draught is flat and not very cold so we now buy cans which are also not very cold. They need to turn the temperature down on their fridge and clean their beer pipes and crank the cooler. Cant take it there anymore and the new barman...he is clueless. Hire some staff with experience and you will get your customer back.

On the louder side, if you have anxiety maybe dont. HOWEVER their food is absolutely AMAZING. Well worth the take out, and well worth the money. Comfy seating and the waitress was super friendly.

We went for lunch and it was empty which should have tipped us off. The place smelled like stale greasy food and by the time our food arrived I was already feeling queasy. The pop was flat, the plates were dirty and the eggs benny looked disgusting. We didn t even eat we just told the server about everything and left. We didn t want food poisoning!

Really fantastic food! What unique combinations too! Ive always struggled deciding between pizza and fried chicken and now I dont have to! Their pizza is great - to my understanding its won best pizza in Regina this year. I can understand why but to be totally fair they SHOULD have won best fried chicken in Regina! And Ive tried them all! Like wow! This is a close to original KFC (from like the 1980s before the recipe changed) as Ive ever tasted - even better than the old KFC! Is there a fried chicken competition in Regina? If so please enter! You blow Popeyes and Mary browns out of the water on that spice blend. Id only suggest a double coat for extra crunchiness cuz its a touch soggy by the time it gets to your house wrapped in tin foil but still soooo worth every greasy, tastes morsel!

Had the frito chicken it was good would recommend . had their pizza would NOT recommend sub par pizza staff are friendly

We ordered the lunch special that day, which was deep fried chicken, served with fries and gravy. I choose a Greek salad instead of the coleslaw that came with the lunch special. But it was so delicious and we ended up having a few take home boxes cause the portion sizes were bigger than expected. Our waitress was so polite and very kind, I would recommend this place to anyone who loves chicken and a good size meal.

My chicken Caesar salad was ok. My brother said his steak sandwich was good, and my dads ribs looked terrible and he was rather underwhelmed.

Was a great place for fine dining but now in my opinion, may as well go to a greasy spoon. Not worthy of your time and money.

Bf and I went there last nyfir my bday supper, had the stuffed chicken Athena, was supposed to be stuffed with feta, what I got was a butterflied breast that tasted like it was cooked 20 times over and it was tofu laid on top, couldnt even eat it, it was disgusting, bf ordered BBQ ribs, they were so drenched in vinegar couldnt eat it, ordered rice with it, got salad instead. Had it out with the cook and telling me hes Greek and knows what feta taste like, well so do I and trust me, it wasnt feta on the chicken. Waitress was good, but all in all, will never go back

Went this evening for the fried chicken meal on special! Food was delicious! Chicken was cooked with a home-made batter, I believe the coleslaw was also home-made and definitely fresh, the portion of fries was huge, and I got a side of gravy and it was delicious! We will definitely be back! Our server was great and very helpful!

Boyfriend and I ate here and the food was disgusting. My stake tasted like it had been soaked in gasoline, fries where soggy and sitting in a pool of grease. Boyfriends burger was soggy, salad had dirt and was a brown colour. We hardly touched our food and felt sick after eating. Pretty sure we both have food poisoning, been throwing up for the past couple hour. Owner was unwilling to remake the meals or let us order anything different claiming the food was fine. Definitely reporting to the food and safety people

Had take out, Greek Platter for 4. Pretty disappointing. The ribs tasted of old grease, the chicken souvlaki was pretty dry, the gyro meat was pretty dry as well, and all the meat was so lightly seasoned it was barely seasoned at all. Came with rice pudding of which the rice was just cooked enough to soften but was still harder than al dente and was very bland....raisins would have helped immensely. Greek salad had white onion...a little odd I thought. Battered mushrooms were a little undercooked as well. The really surprising thing I found was no lemon wedges. What self respecting Greek sends out any food without lemon wedges? The tzatziki sauce was pretty good though.

Outdated decor. I ordered their house special burger and fries. Hamburger wasnt cooked and the fries were soggy. The waitress finally came over and when I told her about the burger she did ask if I wanted anything else and took it off the bill. I wasnt interested at this point and left. Wont be back.

This is a good place to have drinks and enjoy some pool. The appetizers are pretty good especially the boneless ribs.... years ago this was the place to go for a lovely prime rib dinner but in my opinion that is no longer the case. The last time we had it there is was extremely disappointing.

Friendly, polite, courteous and happy workers who seem to love their jobs. They ask you if you need help with anything and thats what I call, someone who loves their job. Ill always go there for food and vlts..lol

Johns place is my local food favourite in my neighbourhood. Every visit is friendly and warm. While the menu is a little on the expensive side, the meals that Ive enjoyed have been done exactly to order. The restaurant side is cozy. Lots of memorabilia, pictures and loads of things to read on the walls.

Went twice, the first time they didnt have Root Beer so we didnt stay as Im not eating a piece of prime rib with just water to drink. Second time we went for Sunday Brunch, The server was good and she tried her best but the food was terrible. My hash browns and my wifes were way overdone and hard as a rock, my steak had way too much pepper to taste anything else. The eggs were ok but my wifes omlette was terrible, she asked what kind of cheese they used and was told cheddar. What she got was an overdone omlette with little ham and slices of process cheese melted inside and ontop. It was obvious from the square shape of the cheese on top that it was slices of process cheese, she was not happy as she had asked before ordering what kind of cheese it was. After scraping it off she had a few bites but it was terrible. When telling the server about it she ssid shed check with the manager, returning she said the manager said that she had eaten some so it wasnt possible to take anything off the bill. You could tell she felt bad about it but it wasnt up to her. Ive owned a 5 star establishment and I know theres a percentage of their income is allowed to be wrote off for comps and Im sure they use every bit of it, my point being theyre allowed a fair amount of write off on theyre totals. I wouldve at least comped the one meal if not the whole thing. Unhappy clientele arent a good way to promote repeat and recommended business. Not impressed. Maybe youll have a better experience.
