My partner and i have been coming to Abstractions for years and it has been excellent every visit. As a vegetarian, it can be hard to find food that is this delicious. We have seen restaurants come and go in this city but Abstractions has been consistently good the whole time. The service is always friendly and kind. I love this place forever! Great tasty food portions and coffee. Enjoyed eating here with friendly service. Just only one wee complaint that the bathroom was a bit grubby and no paper towels in the ladies room.

My family ate lunch here today. Food was amazing, service was excellent. My son asked if we can go again tomorrow, and we just might! Prices were very reasonable. I had a chicken shawarma wrap that was unbelievable, and my son took my side lentil soup from me and wouldnt give it back. Kid-friendliness: Everyone was so kind and accommodating to our kids - felt like we were treated like family. A few high chairs available too.

Love the zesty turkey and pasta salad. If you get a whole zesty turkey it s literally 2 sandwiches! Perfect for leftovers. My latte was also delicious. They are so kind and appreciative there, love to support this local business.

Both dine-in and takeout service are superb! The family who owns this place are so warm and welcoming that the bistro feels like stepping into someones home, and the food is consistently delicious. Would recommend!

I will keep this short. Wonderful service, wonderful food, and a wonderful family. Took my Mom here for lunch and it was a great choice. The Baba Ganoush was so smokey and creamy- perfect, and the Fatteh (first time ordering this) cannot be described .I absolutely LOVED it. Now I am obsessed with Fatteh.

This place is such a hidden gem. The chicken wrap is good, and the pasta salad, and baba ghanoush. But my favourite is the falafel! i could eat two of them. Charming place with a nice deck, and its not too busy so the wait time is quick, making it an easy spot to visit.

Stumbled on this delightful cafe when I was in town for a few hours. Food was great, very nice staff, I will be back again! Our group had the Chicken Shawarma and the Falafel wrap.

Ordered catering for a group event. Everything was fresh and the portions were very generous. The owner stayed late for me to pick up closer to the event time and worked around my budget. Some of the best Babaghanoush Ive had. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options all that are very flavorful.

Have Halal chicken. Their BBQ is really good Food

Food was amazing, but there was lack of communication with the kitchen. I got there and ordered at 1150 and our food didnt come out until after 1230. Especially when youre on your work lunch, you dont have time to wait 30 min for a meal. We will definitely come back, but I can understand that sometimes things happen beyond the restaurants control.

A home away from home! I remember that we have just arrived in Regina, looking for a place to stay and we came across the amazing hidden gem on Rose Street. We just wanted to get some coffee and that s when we discovered this beautiful place. Any place wouldn t be a place without people who paint that beautiful picture and make sense of place. We happen to meet Farid, Hayat, Nour and his beautiful family who run this place. What an amazing humble family and what a nice place. There is something about family-owned businesses; makes you feel at home and you immediately fall in love with it. But what s more significant here is the kindness of this family. The warm welcome and love that shared with us was absolutely incredible and we will always be grateful for that. I really cannot imagine Regina without Abstractions - it changes everything for us. The place is actually nice and it is kinda of a community center. People always come together at this place and everyone knows everyone. You come here once and then you just keeping on coming every single day! They also invite local artists to exhibit their art work and showcase it to the community. Isn t that cool? The food is absolutely spot on. The family originally from Syrian and hence the incredible middle eastern cuisine. We loved every dish and we could no ask for more to comfort our appetite in a place like Regina. Again they are a game changer for me! The vibe is really cool too. Not only you feel at home but also they created this amazing intimate vibe; amazing music, paintings on the wall and an armchair at the corner makes you feel comfortable at all time. Nour, the son is an amazing talented artist who runs a nonprofit organization concerned with music and DJs all across the city. With his music and influence he plays a huge role in challenge the status quo and engaging the community with art and music. He runs musical events and invites DJs from across the city - even beyond Regina as we happen to see that amazing DJ coming all the way from Moose Jaw to take part of this event - and create something really special that could be a catalyst for a change and for us it was just the cherry on top. I am so grateful that we found this place and this is an invitation for everyone to come and enjoy it. This place has something - for everyone!

The chicken shawarma and pasta salad are the best in the city. The staff is kind, warm and welcoming and the vibe is unmatched. A truly underrated gem for lunch and/or a coffee.

The service was excellent, the veggie wrap was delicious, the wifi was good, and the atmosphere was cozy. I had a wonderful lunch and was able to get a little work done as well. A great place to spend an afternoon!

This is one of my favourite places in Regina! The food is always so good. Love their chicken wrap and the spinach salad with the raspberry vinaigrette! The owner is also the sweetest, always has a smile on their face. The place is very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend

Been here for lattes many times and every one has been delicious. They always use dairy alternatives when I have asked and I have never had an issue with my intolerance. Need to stop in for food as well sometime.

The food is soooo worth it for the price! I was just very delighted after having meal in there! It was delectable They also make the recipe for their iced capp with espresso, so you know its good! When life serves you up a day filled with stress and you dont know where to turn to. Turn onto Rose Street and Go to Abstractions! The owners have the biggest hearts, the most wonderfully comforting Persian and Canadian food. They are always happy to make you happy. Eat hot food, have a coffee or a bit more(theyre licensed) and let their music soothe you. Its a great place whether youre alone or with friends.

Without any hesitation, it makes best Tablua in Regina. The Shawirma is so great and testy. Service is so great and the place is unique and relaxing. I will definitely gonna come back to it.

Falaffel is very good, and they make very good crepes. The price is reasonable. The atmosphere is tiny but pleasant inside, with a spacious deck outside.

A cozy and warm place owned and operated by a lovely family. The food was delicious, service was attentive and fast, and prices were reasonable. We had chicken Shawerma with lentil soup, chicken wrap, Falafel wrap with spinach salad, Hummus and Tabouleh salad, all were yummy delicious! the chef treated us with Katayef filled with walnut as a dessert, it was the best I ever had! Abstractions Cafe offers a wonderful vegetarian friendly menu. This is a family run business with delicious sandwiches, salads and wraps. I enjoy the creative lattes and the fact they are licensed as well. You NEED to try the katayef! This is a must try dessert (as long as you can have nuts).

This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Not only is the food fabulous (my favorites are the lentil falafel, burrito, Chilli, lentil soup and pasta salad) but it is also super reasonably priced AND the family who runs it are so kind and wonderful. The atmosphere is also beautiful. Love and am so grateful for this place.

Such a great, quaint little place! Me and my husband visited on the recommendation of a friend and Im so happy we did! The owners are super sweet and accommodating, the food was wonderful, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We will definately be coming back next time we are down this way!

Good lunch menu. Very friendly host. They go above and beyond for their guest. Coffee is always fresh and aromatic. I am not a big coffee drinker so I do not mind their coffee but some of my coffee lover friends are not big fan of the coffee. The lentil soup is amazing. Little bit pricey.

I took my girlfriend here for breakfast/lunch. Very homey feeling, great music, great vibe, great food + amazing coffee ect. Great quality. Amazing prices compared to any other cafe I have been to. Service was increadibly quick and blew me away! Speechless and will be back again. I would recommend to everyone. The older gentlemen that helped my girlfriend and I was very friendly.

Not bad, could be better

Tucked away in a cosy corner away from hustle of downtown, this cafe is warm & cosy, lost in time! Soothing string music welcomes you followed by the ever smiling owner, Farid! We were so soaked in the ambience that time just flew! And the food? Delicious middle-eastern cuisine, it has options for everyone including vegetarians and vegans! And while you are gorging on the wraps and hummus, do not forget to sip on hot Turkish coffee and wrap it up with Kafayet as dessert! Am going there until i have tried everything on the menu and starting all over again!
