This is a 5-star restaurant. I took my partner there for breakfast, and it was lovely. Food tastes great.

Well I would have like to experiance this place, as it says they were open so I made the trip and found out there closed.

the hollandaise made me feel sick, and there was barely any salmon, it was mostly a pile of limp potatoes. the staff were friendly though!

I visited the restaurant for breakfast this morning, and while the atmosphere was pleasant and the food was great, the service was a bit disappointing. It was my first time there, and the server seemed upset or perhaps uncomfortable, which made us feel unsure of what to do. Typically, when visiting a restaurant for the first time, staff explain the menu and how things work, but we didn t receive any guidance. It would have been nice to feel more welcomed.

The service here is amazing. The sandwich lady somehow always remembers my order despite the many customers they have. The food is great and your order is always ready really quickly.

I dont think my words will do this Incredible place justice! OMG....OMFG... the food I had here was so amazing it left me speechless! I do not recall the last time I was somewhere, that Every Single Bite I was BLOWN AWAY! and the prices were incredible for the amount of food we got! Small things even loke, expecting generic hashbrowns. Nope, fresh cut potatoes. Hot sauce on the table that i didnt have to ask for. Just every was incredible!! It was like being at home as a child when your mom or your grandma would make you the biggest breakfast from scratch

We enjoyed our lunch here. The food was good and the staff were so warm and accommodating. I definitely loved the omelette and apple pie milkshake. We will come back.

Havent been here in a couple years, but its definitely gone downhill. Ordered the quiche and it was a warm dried out almost inedible catastrophe. The lemon chicken soup had no hint of lemon. It was a not bad chicken vegetable soup. We wont be back.

They make the best french toast for breakfast

I had had several great experiences here, but the last one was so bad that I will be telling my friends to find a new brunch spot. Get ready for a long post. Our order was not put in. After a long wait and seeing the table that was seated after we ordered getting their food, I flagged down who I believe is one of the managers and maybe owners. I told her this and her response was it depends how the waitress put your order in which does not make any sense. She went to speak with our waitress and they were looking at us and you could tell, scrambling. Our waitress came to talk to us and said that the kitchen had lost our order and asked us what we ordered, incorrectly guessing. (Please just write orders down in the future). The manager/owner came back and told us that the waitress didn t put the order in and that they will rush it. Our waitress came back and said that we would get our meals for free. Our meals were underwhelming. The potatoes weren t cooked well and were not seasoned. I had to salt my eggs, which I rarely do at a restaurant. When the manager came to take the payment, she only gave us 25% off. This has been one of the only times I have not tipped in years. I don t like the miscommunication about discounts and I don t like that the manager/owner threw her waitress under the bus and that the waitress didn t admit her mistake and threw the kitchen under the bus. Clearly, something is wrong with the whole staff and communication. TL;DR our order was not put in, we got mediocre food after I had to flag the owner down, and the staff didn t take accountability nor really make it up for us.

I love this place, had the cinnamon bun waffles the last time, I also had the iced matcha latte today and it was incredible! highly recommend

First time there this afternoon. Had something called white chocolate banana bread french toast (with whip cream). It was literally just as amazing as it sounds. I dont leave reviews often but dropping 5 stars here on this one

I absolutely love the atmosphere of this place, but the food experience was seriously lacking. The bacon wasnt crispy, the herbed potatoes lacked herbs/flavor, the banana bread french toast was soggy... and all of these things could be chalked up to being simply how they do things at this restaurant. However, the one problem I had that actually ruined my meal and will probably prevent me from coming back was that the English muffin for my eggs benedict was not toasted, which completely ruined the dish. When I asked my server (and she then asked the chef) of it was supposed to be served untoasted, I was told it was indeed toasted and was soggy because its eggs benedict. I dont know what I expected to happen or how the issue would be resolved (because I still ate the rest of the Benedict, I just didnt eat the English muffin) but what I do know now is what eggs Benedict tasted like when you dont toast the English muffin. And I also know I probably wouldnt try to eat here again if I wanted eggs Benedict because it will apparently be served with a side of gaslighting.

Overall a very mediocre experience. For the price of the food, I was expecting much more for flavour and presentation. The food filled a hole, but was very bland. Our server was nice, but it was hard to tell the difference between consumers and staff. The food came out very quickly which was nice but the potatoes had no flavour and seemed to be undercooked. Food was disappointing and BLANDDDDD. Won t be returning. Edit: We just ate the cupcake that we got for takeout and it was also mediocre. Tasted more like a muffin than a cupcake and the Oreo on top was soggy, not crunchy. The Carmel apples also weren t good. Look a lot cooler than they tasted. The wooden stick kept falling out too. $10 for a caramel apple I expected good things. Not impressed.

Service is a 4 only for the time it took to get our meals, nearly an hour.

We saw the reviews of Fresh & Sweet and thought we d give it a try for breakfast. We didn t mind waiting however they put us in the adjoining restaurant Fresh Carnival. Not the atmosphere or the service we expected! It s dark and dingy, service was horrible. It took over a half hour to 40 mins to get our food, table next to us who came at the same time got their food and we re about to leave when we got ours. Had to ask multiple times for a coffee refill. Food was horrible and cold.

Ordered the chicken waffle and it was pretty disappointing, probably one of the worst variations on chicken and waffles I ve had before. The Dijon honey sauce is so overwhelming and the chopped chicken is just sad, the potatoes taste like they ve been sitting in a warmer for hours. On top of that I was given minestrone soup when I ordered potato bacon. I like this place though never had a bad item on the menu before until now. The soup was good even though it wasn t the one I ordered.

Came this morning for the first time. Staff was super friendly and the food was AMAZING they have great variety in the menu and great portions. The coffees were also stellar.

Great sweet or savoury options for pairing. The chicken and waffle was a great surprise on how they executed. The bacon peach pancakes were excellent and now I cant make pancakes at home without bacon cooked into them. Service is chipper and friendly making the atmosphere great. Parking is the only thing to plan for, its downtown Regina so have change, its a pain. Love this place.

This is a must stop breakfast spot and it deserves all the praise it can get. The white chocolate banana bread French toast is exactly as good as it sounds, the fried breakfast potatoes are as good as potatoes get, and the servers and owners seem to genuinely enjoy being there, which translates perfectly to their good service and great food.

Talk about fresh & sweet when in reality you get unloved & unflavored. I came here bc we usually go for breakfast somewhere else which now thinking about It I regret coming to this place. It seems fun and cozy with lots of people but with all the whispers you soon learn that the chef should have stayed a dishwasher bc its a sad lie who told them they have the right to cook breakfast as sad as the eggs to the ham to the potatoes I am devastated this place has such good reviews I mean then again the sweet are good but if you want decent eggs ham or bacon or hash browns with toast do not come here. Also definitely not worth the money.

All of the toast was not toasted properly. I could understand if I had personally requested that they put the toast in the toaster for 3-4 seconds, except none of us requested that. Hash browns when the food finally showed up the hash browns tasted old.The ham had no taste I had 3 other people try my serving of ham (we all agreed ). Food took way too long too come out . Eggs were great .Coffee I dont know why they cant serve the menu to the table? Went w a group of people for breakfast none of us will be going back . Sometimes you try somewhere new and it doesnt go well.

Need to return for a sit down meal, visited quick to pick up drink, they were slammed but managed to get me and my wives drinks but messed up the order after a bit of a wait.

Brunch Spot Alert! First time I tried Fresh & Sweet was this weekend and it did live to the hype. The staff were kind and courteous and even walked us through the menu when asked. If you want a sweet and fresh meal experience, be sure to check it out.

Me and my friend tried this restaurant for the first time. We enjoyed our meals but the milkshake was the best though! We got the unicorn cotton candy milkshake and it was so cool looking and yummy. I don t like milkshakes that much but it was the best one I ve ever had. Cool restaurant set up and a big variety of options on the menu as well

Amazing Food, Amazing view and AMAZING weekend Staff! I came in for about the 2nd time this weekend and was welcomed by such lovely people. The staff appears to be mainly teenagers who are filled with love and passion and who helped me decide on something that was beyond delicious! Adorable Staff, Adorable Treats and Adorable window art! I absolutely had the best experience with the nicest little server with Glasses bigger than her head!! Haha Enjoyed my experience so much and will be back as soon as possible LOL :p

Ordered the 16 ounce cappuccino and was blown away. Not that bitter. Very smooth. And frothy as it should be. The Best sandwich is a croissant sandwich and has all the trims on it. Do try their hashbrowns/home fries. Really flavourful.

I cant seem to catch a break with this place lately. After having an epic breakfast in the restaurant pre covid, Ive stopped in and ordered takeout a few times lately, with today being the last time I get anything that isnt breakfast. A smoked salmon panini that was more chopped onion with a suggestion of salmon and cream cheese, with a mango salad that had three MASSIVE pieces of mango. They need someone with the knife skills of an adult to do their prep. Mango salad could have been well balanced with smaller chunks. Red onion with smoked salmon should be sliced thinly. I was charged a bag fee (work it into your pickup pricing, you look cheap or against going green when you charge a bag fee, did plastic bags not cost you to package items?) and anything with a salad should at the very least include a napkin if youre going to make me eat it with my fingers (I guess I got lucky there that the mango chunks were huge).

Great coffee but would not come here for the food we ordered a bowl and waffle. The bowl did not come as described, it was a omelette on top of potatoes that were super greasy and tasted a day old. The waffle was okay, nothing special and very small for the price. Left feeling very disappointed would not recommend if you are looking for a brunch spot.

I ve been a few times. The homemade juice is great and the coffee is always excellent. The food is so so the last time I went it prompted me to write this review because again, the coffee was great but I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was THE WORST eggs Benedict I ve ever had! The poached eggs were the only good thing on my plate. The hollandaise sauce was flavourless. It tasted like vinegar and they put green onion on top and the flavour of that overpowered everything. There was also only a tea spoon amount of sauce on the eggs so the English muffin was dry and hard for the most part. And the ham had the weirdest taste ever, not sure what kind of ham it was or how it was cured or cooked, but it was gross. And the potatoes were drenched in oil, I had 1 and left the rest. I ve had other breakfast plates here before and they didn t speak any volumes. The sweet options are overly sweet and would be better with a salty element to cut the sweetness. Overall, the food isn t great but the coffee is worth it. I d go there again for just a coffee. And there s only paid parking in the street so be ready for that.

Line was busy for 25 minutes straight. No prices listed on their menu on their website and the google menu pic is clearly outdated with prices from years ago. No breakfast during the week according to the menu, tho somewhere i read breakfast all day. With the cost of gas, i wont be driving all that way to check out if I can get healthy farm eggs or if like most unethical places they are factory farmed. Guess they dont need the business if they cant answer their phone or give out proper info on their website. Oh well. Somewhere else will.

Girlfriend and I stopped here for lunch. Nice little café. My girlfriend had half of the the honey garlic wrap, and some of the french onion soup she had ordered. She became violently ill within 10 minutes of leaving the establishment. Based off of previous reviews, this isnt the first time. We suspect it was the ham in the wrap as she said it had a funny taste.

We stopped in for lunch a couple of days ago with out of town guests. We all enjoyed the experience! The potato-ham soup was so delicious! The panini sandwiches were very tasty. We re coming back!

Pleasant place to be it was my first time there, the staffs did make us comfortable and are very welcoming and suggested us some of the best on their menu, we definitely enjoyed the pressed juice but the only thing is that the plate should be larger for that amount of food that they offer which is just exquisite... Will definitely go back..

Valley girls catering did are wedding June 18, 2022. We had the roast beef buffet with salad and dainties. They were professional, organized, and friendly. Food was hot, tasty, and plentiful. They was even 2nds lol for some. Salads were awesome! Feedback was very positive! Highly recommend them for their services!

Run down restaurant with no service. What a surprise today (Tuesday morning) no one at the entrance to sit us as usual. Some random individuals just say take a menu and choose a table and don t forget to order at the cashier . This random individual is possibly the cook because I she this person in the kitchen .. where is my Gerda my favourite waitress? Can t have what I usually order. At less 4 employees in the restaurant they should be able to offer service. Coffee mug chip and dirty wall and no service . No refill coffee . Sadly, I will not come back to this establishment anymore.

Had Valley Girls Catering for my wedding last weekend and they were terrible. Food was mediocre but the process and communication to work with them was something I would never do again. After over 100+ emails with them over the past few months, the day of the wedding I still had no idea what time they would show up and what they would be coming with. Beata had zero communication skills, no guidance on what services they provide and continually avoided answering my questions. All questions I asked that were actually answered were met with a snarky response as if I was stupid for asking. Their prices are ridiculous for what you get and they refuse to help with anything. We paid for bussing of plates and cutlery and they did maybe half and proceeded to tell me that s all I paid for. I would stay away as any other catering service in the city would be much better regardless of the reviews from their store Fresh & Sweet . They caused an unimaginable amount of stress and chaos that just wasn t worth it.

Visited this place for the first time Sunday October 2. Ive heard mixed reviews from people but decided to meet some friends for breakfast. Ordered the eggs Benedict and it was completely underwhelming. First of all, fried eggs on a Benny when the menu clearly states they are poached. I could have got past that, had the eggs not been horribly chewy from being overcooked. Second, the potatoes are just awful. Greasy and absolutely zero seasoning. The salt you see is what I added. Third, the ham under the overcooked eggs (unfortunately forgot to take a picture) was gross and had gelatinous pockets of fat. Also sort of minor, but I ordered coffee and was brought just that. Had to request a spoon and cream from the waitress after flagging her down afterwards. So did the gentleman behind me. For a $22 breakfast I will not be back. I will also never recommend it to anyone.

Went for brkfst, with son n granddaughter. Somewhat disappointed in the service. We had coffe, no spoons or cream, had to ask for them. My food was mediocre, had to ask for syrup. Adults had coffee but there was never a refill! Then we had to ask for our bill, it appeared to be somewhat disorganized. My experience today resulted in my low rating

The Waffle I had with my Chkn&Waffle was really good, but the hashbrowns were really underdone in my opinion. Very white, no char or crisp at all. Also no seasoning. Friend had similar issues with their food despite getting welldone hashbrowns.

My friends and I wanted to grab breakfast and we voted to go to Fresh & Sweet. The servers were friendly enough. A few downsides were: for your first-time, it might be a little confusing navigating the process because the menus arent on the table and nobody informed us that the menus were at the front counter. Its best to get the French toast. I ordered the Red Velvet pancakes as a sweet option and it was neither sweet nor red velvety. For some reason, the pancakes seemed to be a little salty. A 6/10 experience overall. I might visit again but not anytime soon

They worked with me on a custom menu and I heard so many great compliments about the meal. Thanks again!! Would recommend to anyone. I always enjoy the food from Fresh and Sweet! For our las ordered, they went above and beyond. We had ordered through Skip, but the driver never showed up. The people at Fresh and Sweet remade our order, communicated with us as soon as they realized there was a problem, and generally showed wonderful customer service in a situation that was as much an inconvenience to them as to us. It is always a pleasure to support local businesses that actually care!

Good brunch, delicious coffee. Hash browns tasted old, like they had been sitting a while, but the salmon eggs benedict was delicious, and latte hit the spot. Overall i really enjoy this place. Usually consistent in taste and quality.

My favorite breakfast spot in the city! I really like their veggie sandwich with a side of hashbrowns and their smoked salmon bowl. It can get busy on the weekend but the wait is never anything outstanding (after being in Saskatoon for the weekend.. their 2 hour wait time for brunch joints is outrageous!) I enjoy hopping to the other side of the restaurant for donuts following my meal.

I ordered the mocha latte and chocolate coconut cupcake and it was amazing!! Totally recommended!

Love it

Fresh & Sweet has a lovely breakfast/Lunch menu with lots of variety without overwhelming you with too many choices. It s also a great place to go with kids, including toddlers. Our 7 month old had his first public high chair experience here. The staff is super warm and helpful. We ll definitely be visiting here again.
